I had the opportunity to test this lovely Papa Louie pattern by the amazing Campbell Crochet and I had such a blast doing so! I'm a huge Flipline fan so I was legit thrilled to make this little guy!
Go check Campbell's pattern on her Etsy page if you'd like! <3

Introducing the Caladium Cardigan!
I had the honor of being able to test the adult version of the Caladium Cardigan. It took longer than expected due to life, but also because I had to purl as well. I love working in the round because it makes a sweater knit up pretty fast, but most cardigans are knitted back and forth so hence will take a bit longer that way. It didn't help that I got sick for about a week and a half so had zero energy to be able to even knit in bed. But Cindy, the designer, was very understanding and decided to extend the deadline! I technically missed the deadline by a day, but better a day than a week.
I have honestly loved the finished feel and look of this cardigan. Its definitely the one I reach for while wandering around the house.

Looking for Pattern Testers!
So I don't have a crochet blog (right now anyway) but I've made my first pattern and I'd love to have some testers!
It's for a star hairtie (scrunchie?). Of course a work in progress! Also I'm learning how to math the number of stitches.
Tumblr media
It's not a challenging pattern, but I recommend being intermediate or above since I'm confident this pattern isn't as clear as it could be or has issues.
Please DM me or respond to this poll and I'll send a link to the pattern :3

Pattern Testing Call Skirt "Bella"
I’m looking for Pattern Tester, who want to test my Skirt Pattern “Bella”. This sewing pattern is a skirt perfect for every occasion, with seven rounded godets, a straight waistband, which ends in a button closure and a seam zipper in the center back. The patterns allows you to make a straight skirt, with godets or without, as well. It is drafted for medium weight, woven fabrics (preferably…

WIP Sunday - Forget-Me-Not Pisces Sweater update!
I am IN. LOVE. WITH. THE. FIT. 🥹
The bodice, from the first point where it starts decreasing to the bottom hem, had been frogged and re-worked 5 times to achieve this phenomenal fit, but it's been SO worth it. I have never felt so comfortable in my clothes, or indeed with my own body shape. It is fitted, but not so much to feel like a corset, and I can still pull it on with only minimal wriggling, getting it over the boobs without any drama. 😊
Forget-Me-Not colours were a love at first sight, and the variegated blue has only done very delicate pooling, so I'm delighted. 🥰
The only problem now is that this pattern test is due on the 29th of April. In... 8 days. And I've got 2 whole sleeves to make. And 0 time. How on earth I'm gonna swing this, I have no idea. 😱
Pattern by @crochethighway - not-yet-released Pisces Pullover, a part of #myzodiacsweater series. Stay tuned, because it’s GORGEOUS 😍.
Etsy Shop is here.

I am conducting a pattern test for a simple, cozy set of fingerless mitts, in The Testing Pool forum on Ravelry.
I need testers. If anyone is interested, PM me with your email address to receive the pattern. You don't have to belong to Ravelry to be in the pattern test.
Testers will need to knit one mitt by September 30, 2023 and submit a picture of it. Testers will receive the finished pattern, and any pattern of their choice from my Ravelry store.

I'm looking for people to test out my Bear Head Squishy Pattern! It's a pretty easy and simple pattern but it does require sewing. I will give testers a week from today to finish the pattern (2/3/24). I will be adding all testers into a group chat on discord, thanks!

When I started this test knit, I was more than happy to take my time, but then my husband and I put an offer on a house. So then I became curious if I could finish this test knit before we closed on the house. And guess what, I was able to finish it with time to spare! To be fair, it did take me almost 2 months to finish, but hey a win is a win heh
Overall, I love test knitting for Claire! Her instructions are very clear and the designs themselves are simple and cute. She also allows for a long testing period so even if life does get in the way, I don't feel pressured into getting the test knit done ASAP.
This was also the perfect test knit for me to test out holding yarn double and using suri/lace yarn for the first time. Would highly recommend if you are able to, its not as scary as it seems! Would also recommend trying to get yarn that is similar in color and from the same yarn dyer, if possible, if you have been on the fence about it.

If you're enjoying this post, please send some money to a verified Palestinian family! Even an amount that's trivial to you can save a life.
Protoscorch inspired me to fix up the spoof pattern I made. I'm pretty much reworking it from scratch and I think it's coming along nicely but it's a lot of work!
