Been on a Gilligan's Island mood this week...Another amusing show from the 60s, featuring seven castaways and their misadventures on an island after the Minnow crashed. And the Ballad is amazing! The titular character of Gilligan is the funniest of the bunch, if not the klutziest. One of my favorite episodes (and the only one I constantly watched, by the way) is V for Vitamins, where the Castaways are lacking Vitamin C and need to grow oranges in order not to perish. At some point Gilligan dreams a Jack and the Beanstalk-like story, with him as Jack and Skipper as the Giant. And since there was no such thing as CGI or FX, in order to shrink Gilligan, they picked up Bob Denver's 5yo son Patrick. Let's be honest, but he completely nailed it as a pint sized Gilligan - the large hat is the best part! Another great episode is Pass the Vegetables, Please, where Gilligan finds radioactive veggie seeds, and upon eating them, they gain different powers each, for example, Mrs Howell becomes really fast, and Gilligan gets super strenght! But just so you know, I don't like the first season, mainly due to the fact that is black and white.

Week 3 - Broncos @ Buccaneers

Broncos rookie QB Bo Nix ran in for a touchdown and gets his first win of the season as they defeat the Buccaneers 26-7. Broncos K Wil Lutz had a busy day, kicking FGs of 43, 38, 33 and 43 yards. Denver's defense also showed up, sacking Bucs QB Baker Mayfield 7 times and intercepting him once. Broncos CB Patrick Surtain held the Bucs star WR Mike Evans to just 2 recptions for 17 yards. Broncos are 1-2 on the season and the Bucs are 2-1.

Chiefs beat Steelers 29-10 on Christmas Day, to clinch the #1 seed in AFC

Santa Gave the Chiefs their 15th victory of the year, which is the most in franchise history, and home-field advantage throughout the playoffs,

The Chiefs knocked off the Pittsburgh Steelers 29-10 on Christmas day in a game that was all Kansas City. Patrick Mahomes threw two touchdowns in the first two drives: a seven-yard catch by wide receiver Xavier Worthy and then an eleven-yard touchdown pass to tight end Justin Watson. With a missed extra point, the Chiefs led 13-0 in the first quarter.

Russel Wilson did manage to find the endzone in the second quarter for the Steelers' only touchdown of the game, making the score 13-7 at the half with the Chiefs leading.

As the game continued, it was all Kansas City. Patrick Mahomes played his best game of the season, having completed 28 of 39 passes for 320 yards and three touchdowns with a 127.1 quarterback rating. Xavier Worthy caught 8 passes for 79 yards and a touchdown, and Travis Kelce also caught 8 passes for 84 yards and a touchdown.

Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt scored the Chiefs' third touchdown of the game. Hunt carried nine times for 20 yards. In the meantime, running back Isiaha Pacheco left the game with a rib injury.

Later in the  4th quarter, tight end Travis Kelece caught his 77th touchdown pass, passing up Hall-of-Fame tight end Tony Gonzalez with 76 for most touchdown receptions in Chiefs history. 

The Chiefs' defense also held their weight today, sacking Russell Wilson five times and forcing two turnovers.  

Russell Wilson completed 22 of his 37 passes for 205 yards and one interception. He also carried the ball 6 times for 55 yards. Jaylen Warren rushed for 71 yards on 11 carries, while Najee Harris rushed on 13 carries for 74 yards. In total, the Steelers offense had 202 yards on the ground with 31 total carries. 

As the Chiefs locked up the #1 seed, they play their final game at the Mile High as they play the Denver Broncos, who are looking for a playoff spot, while the Steelers host their final game vs the Cincinnati Bengals
