A Patren -1gou design attempt. Based on one out of 3 unused VS Changer lines (other for Lupin Black and Patren 0. Have no ideas for em, sadly, aside from 0 likely being white ranger? -1 and Black's lines sound more wicked, so I assume they are "evil" rangers, hence the look of this one)

Notes and thoughts rambling under the cut

Zombie and Vampire was rather random, but fitting idea to give something unique and "wrong" to those. That's to say, I only have possible thoughts about -1gou role in context of the show 1.5. Or well, in context of my idea? It takes closer to end of the show, so putting whole new 3 rangers seems to bloat the plot/cut the focus

Yea, judging from the name I feel it be logical to assume it is Keiichiro. Idk human experiments from ganglers y'now. Would happen after 44? or mb early, if to put "skinwalker satoru" 2 ep arc earlier as well (I'm trying to think in context of the show's format)

He's likely not having a good day

Feel Gouche still would want to open up Noel with her knife, so would send -1gou to grab him for her. And to overall support motws and/or "play" with kaitous and cops' feelings.

Could learn Kairi's identity this way? I feel it might trigger him out of the -1gou state for a moment. Classic plot of bringing corrupted protag/main character back to normal through "feelings/pushing on what's important to them" follows.

White neck-overall main mold thing across all 8 suits? so I assume this one would have it too

He is black ranger, again, going with whole double red idea of the season, so double black (but again I have no idea where would Lupin Black show up...)

It did turned up more like having palette swap with Lupin Read though...At base elements, I feel.

The legs likely would be of the same base mold as patrens have, I'd liked shoes themselves be more sharp but ig you'd better take this as my style thing, not actual design element. Same goes for claws on hands.

Potential VS Changer darker recolor? The VS Vehicle likely original and idk please I have no idea how to design those, sorry

Anyway, think this is all I remember wanting to say. Honestly, just wanted to try and design this one to see how close I might stay to og style of the suits (ngl...I only really like Patren X, other ones are...well, they are ok ig. Thieves get point for collars). I did take some parts from X, obviously...but still feel that realistically, the jacket/coat would be part of the suit's pattern </3 and I don't like it myself.

Oh yea also, corrupted protags, am I right? <3

hello friend!! i have a couple of things to say today! <3

firstly, i never knew you were trans!! that's so exciting, as i'm also a trans person! (i ID as nonbinary!) glad to see my fellow trans people in spaces and fandoms for things i love!!

and secondly, i was wondering what your thoughts were on Lupinranger vs. Patranger. i remember this series being announced when i last followed ur account on my now-dead blog and i was really curious to see how they managed it and if it was a good series or not

Kaitou Sentai Lupinranger vs. Keisatsu Sentai Patranger was a really, really fun series.

They did a really good job balancing things between the two teams and building relationships between them out of costume. The fact that the Patrangers were known to the Lupinrangers out of costume but not the other way around made for an interesting dynamic and some tension I just adored.

This lead to a LOT of shipping and the show did NOTHING to stop it. I personally shipped Lupin Yellow and Patren Sangou

And the show itself made it pretty clear that there was something going on between LupinRed and PatrenIchigo.

However, the focus on the two teams did have one small side effect, the villains came across as afterthoughts at best at times. It's not that they were bad villains, they were just rather unmemorable. This wasn't really a problem in my opinion because the story of the two teams was so engaging that the villains didn't NEED to be all that in focus. This series also has some of my favorite humorous episodes including one of my new favorite Christmas episodes ever! This is maybe my second favorite modern Sentai series after Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger (but that show is SO hard to beat). As for me, I've only been publicly out as Trans since September 2021 and I could not be happier! I'm a Trans Femme (She/Her) and just celebrated my second anniversary of being on HRT. Been watching some more Lupinranger Vs Patranger, and I kinda of get why peeps ship these characters so much. I agree with the LupinRed and Patren #1 ships, but after watching Episode 14 (or was it 13), I must say that I also ship LupinYellow and Patren #3 now. Those bitches are 100% gay, I'm sure of it!

Patren #2 is also trans; I saw that episode and just thought, "yeah, she's trans now".

LupinBlue is the only straight and cis person in the group; a canonical fiancee does that to a person.

a few years after the end of lupat , using the remaining scraps and the power of the lupin collection , shinonome satoru was revived with the help of takao noël . although he couldn’t be restored properly , considering his injury before he was turned into a gangler disguise .

with low constitution , although now with the freedom of basically multiple lives , satoru swore himself under noël to help with field testing any lupin creation , be it modified or a contraption of noël’s own creation

after reintegrating back to society and eventually reuniting with his past co-workers , satoru decided to continue working under the tactical unit , but because of his condition , he was only given the role as an assistant to jim and hilltop of some sort .

the leg armour in his gspo uniform outfit was a gift by noël , it provides better balance and helps him maneuver better in case of emergencies .

the suit was another gift given later on , it’s more of a last ditch effort rather than something he could use to help in fights frequently . using it takes up a lot of energy out of satoru .

requiring trigger machine mk ii to transform , it works similarly to upgrade vs vehicles where another person would have to fire it onto him .

trigger machine mk ii is incompatible with other vs rangers , due to it being specifically built for satoru’s life state 

the headphones could play music :3

despite working under the gspo and helping out at the lupin estate , satoru claims that his loyalty is only under noël , seeing as he is the one who has control of satoru’s life . 

under the hard metal outer shell is a soft padding that’s used to absorb impact force .
