Keiwa does become a cop but he's instead assigned to the Global Special Police Organization and is now subbing in for Sakuya as Patren Nigou.

If Lupat was ever adapted into PR, it should definetly serve as the basis for SPD, but it should comprise of at least 1 non-human ranger. At least, they don’t look human. 

I mean, SPD sorta had an alien-looking ranger (aquatar rangers don’t really count as they still looked human), but it they were only shown like once or twice in the series, so it didn’t matter too much. But i think they should do that because apparently by the time SPD is more formed, aliens and humans are living in peace, and the begining of that is from the ending of DF with the Rafkons living in area 52.

But...having a non-human looking alien on the team would cause tensions since aliens have been trying to take over earth since 1993, so just having that mistrust between the team members would be really intresting and would make a good ongoing storyline. 

anyways, this was just a rant, and its unlikely Lupat will be adapted since Hasbro has made their own suits for Cosmic Fury.

I sincerely wish that "Another Patren 2gou" was included as an actual episode in the season rather than it being relegated to the two-part special it was. While put together in total its about 27 minutes they definitely could cut some minor things out to make it work.

The reason I bring this up is because it does so much for the Patrangers as characters, especially Sakuya. It shows some of his insecurities about being Patren 2gou since he is expected to live up to Shinonome Satoru, his predecessor. It also gives more weight to how the Patrangers felt in the past when they didn't have their powers. Always wanting to do more but not having the power to do so. Plus it would have given us an earlier introduction to Satoru and get to know who he was before his appearance in episode 44. Making the reveal that he died off-screen between then and now a lot more heartbreaking. Especially since most people, at least I believe in the west, don't watch the specials.

And as much as I love LuPat and the Lupinrangers, the show was terribly unbalanced in their favor. Heck, even Noël despite being on 'both sides' is definitely more of a Lupinranger than anything. So cutting out one of the Lupin filler episodes for "Another Patren 2gou" would have better balanced the show out for the Patrangers.

These are just my quick thoughts, I'll literally just finished watching the special. The point is if you haven't watched it already I recommend checking it out. It's available English subbed online.

Day 21: Lost in Dreamland

Remember when I posted the Lupinrangers for my little project, well here is the other team: the Patrangers.

Why are there six members you ask? Simple. In LuPat, the Patrangers consist of four members: 1Gou, 2Gou, 3Gou and X. In the case of my project, they consist of five members and yeah, they are from a parallel universe entering a world that exists beyond the multiverse.

Let’s detail things shall we...

Snails is Patren 1Gou, the leader of the team and he’s the one who has to contend with five other Rangers that have their own quirks. He’s also a yinzer with the habit of saying “Yoy” when things go down.

Snips is Patren 2Gou, second in command and a gunslinger. He prefers to play video games when not busy with his duties. Is a brawler and likes to gunsling when needed.

Sunset Shimmer is Patren 3Gou. She’s the beauty of the team but at times helps Twilight when it comes to figuring things out. She also has to deal with an ex-boyfriend’s flirtatious antics and the team’s constant nagging.

Twilight Sparkle is Patren 4Gou. Being the brains of the group, she relies on technology to solve situations. Although contending with her lover and a jealous ex, it’s a triangle of trouble. She can also defend herself if needed.

Gray aka Crackle is Patren 5Gou. A former V.I.L.E operative who got his mind wiped. But once he met a man named Belljar, he got his memories back. He then chooses to atone by fighting alongside the other Patrangers, much to the dismay of Carmen. At first, everyone is hesitant but in time, they would see him as a valuable ally.

Roy Starfall is Patren X but he can also become Lupin X. In his universe, he is a teenager who plays Duel Monsters, becoming one of the best in the game. Here, he is the sixth Ranger of the group who’s in on the journey. But as the journey goes on, he soon discovers his true destiny as he becomes the one who will bring hope to the world of Earth-1991.

That’s all there is with it. I hope to get more fanart of both teams, especially Player who becomes the sixth Lupinranger, LupinGreen. Hope you like.

No matter how many times I watch katiou sentai lupinranger vs keisatsu sentai patranger, I will always cry when they reunite with the ones they lost.

The ones they spent the whole series trying to get back.

My mind was just blown by the TV Tropes page for Haikyuu because the fact that Keiichiro's actor played Akaashi of all people is struggling to fit into my brain properly. Especially given that Keiichiro's personality resembles Daichi more than anything.

I actually knew Kousei from HaiSute before it clicked and I realized he was Keiichiro lol. Pretty much everyone in the Haikyuu fandom still considers him the Akaashi actor even though he only portrayed him in one play (Shinka no Natsu). He really made an impression I guess 😆
