In honor of Valentine's Day (yes, I'm a day late, don't you judge me!): AU IMAGINES!

Polar AU: Polar likes hugging Eclipse from behind and kissing the top of Eclipse's head. It makes Eclipse just melt. It also made Eclipse cry the first time Polar did this.

PV Eclipse AU: Infinity loves giving everyone valentines on Valentine's Day. He'll spend a whole day alone on the 13th making valentines. Usually they're misspelled because he doesn't fully know how to spell yet.

The Meeting Of The Lords: Hypernova will leave gift baskets personalized to each of the other lords in the meeting room on Valentine's Day.

Zodiac Brothers AU: Taurus makes all his brothers valentines, even not on Valentine's Day, but he showers them with even more valentines on Valentine's Day.

Kidnapped Blood Moon AU: Gibbous Moon and Buck Moon got separated for one singular extended period of time and, when they were near each other again, they immediately put handcuffs on one arm each so they couldn't be separated that long again.

Baby Solar Flare AU: Baby Flare's first conscious word while fully sentient is 'dada'. Eclipse cries on Monty for three hours because he's so proud.

Comet AU: Comet eats his valentines so he can keep them forever.

Evil Family Plus Bean Bloody AU: Elara excitedly gives all his various evil dads, especially Ex-Lord Eclipse (Atom), valentines for a month leading up to Valentine's Day because he loves all his dads and he wants them to know he loves them.

The Eclipses Show AU: Solar's first real hug in his whole existence, that isn't hugging himself, is when Phase held him after Crescent chased him in chapter 6.

The Eclipses Chatroom AU: Comet bites people he loves. Solar has been bitten, as have Acrux, Phase, and Umbra.

I love Hunter's ominous "BWAAA" audio cue he has in s2. It's loud and in your face when you see him the first times, as the Golden Guard, and makes you think, "oh no! villain!" I only realized this recently, but it actually ends up being used in the music itself.

It continues being used throughout the episodes-

Escaping Expulstion

Hunting Palisman (Notably, it only starts when he's actually being menacing, not when he's just whistling or being blasted off his ship.)

Until we get to Eclipse Lake, where it's barely used at all. Because he's imprisoned and unmasked the whole time. The only time it's actually used is when he betrays Amity, because he holds some semblance of power. Contrast that to the fight, where Hunter's cue isn't used at all- he's got no intimidation factor, he's clearly desperate.

As far as I can tell, it's entirely absent in Any Sport in a Storm, which is great, as he's so absolutely pathetic the entire episode, it's great. Au contraire, it's used when he reveals he tricked them, the only time he DOES hold real power.

In Hollow Mind, it's used when he blames Luz for trapping them. It's there again when he approaches the CATTs, because he's hunting down criminals! He's being scary! It's gone after Luz confronts him, because it's from Luz's perspective, and she knows him. It's gone for the rest of the episode.

I don't think it's ever there in Labrynth Runners either, as he's entirely without power in the situation. He's scared out of his mind.

And in Clouds on the Horizon, it's back! But only when you first see him, where he's smirking like an idiot and trying once again to act like he's NOT scared out of his mind. It's insanely comedic, because we all know he's just had two panic attacks within days of each other. He's perhaps the opposite of scary.

And then, it's gone. Forever, I think. From then on, he stops pretending. He's just a dorky kid now, and he's terrified. He's given up on pretending he's not. That music cue was for the Golden Guard. This is Hunter.

It's great musical storytelling! We can HEAR his character arc. We listen to how he changes, his missteps, his failures. It's always fun to hear.

Side note, when Viney goes "I had an opening for one" in ASIAS, the music does the whole violin strike cue, then immediately cuts back to the sentimental music. It's great timing.

So Nexus

I have been thinking a bit about my aus and decided to try and see how Nexus and their arc could potentially fit in them, as an experiment. And these results were actually pretty interesting! I like a few of these ideas and think I’m going to actively incorporate them into the aus, tho I’ll let y’all guess which ones those are :)

Man, Aus are fun

Your eyes are not deceiving you, those are indeed the Bloodmoons in Nexus and Moon’s place, not the weirdest swap in that au surprisingly.

Anyways, the first twins would be absolutely merciless in their taunts to the newer ones, just ruthless, utterly unforgiving. New BM would kinda get a bit self conscious and offended, tho I can see them taking up that suggestion and fully leaning into the plague thematic (this only came to be because I ironically called them The Plague after I drew this… it isn’t ironic anymore), might also be because of that obedience code they have though , honestly I’m not sure yet to be honest :P

(I have to talk about this au at some point lol)

This one was extra fun cuz I already had a concept for the Evil!Sun of the au and it actually kinda fits really well for a ‘Morningstar villain arc’!

In short, Dawn is a Moon that kidnaps adopts other Suns cuz he killed his and has lived with the guilt ever since, he wants to keep them safe and away from any sort of danger, Solar fucking hates him for trying to kidnap their Sun (yes Solar as in Nice!Eclipse is in the au, I’ll explain later) Morningstar would leave to team up with him to find a way to fix their little sibling who was affected by the multidimensional thing but didn’t die

Ok, now we have the not so silly stuff

I was struck with quite an idea for Get in Losers, since Old Moon didn’t die there’d be no need for a New Moon… unless someone else was counting on New Moon’s existence and decided to take things into his own hands.

So there’s an extra moon in the daycare, one “raised” by the Creator, and he’s treated well and all but is he really wanted there? It certainly doesn’t feel like it. At a point after the multidimensional event happens they’d have a breakdown over their identity, they aren’t needed, they aren’t Moon, then who are they?

One thing I feel the need to share with y’all about this is that Dusk would be watching all the drama in the dimension go down like the soap opera it is, and at the point of Nexus’s breakdown he’d just be staring at the lunar model while eating fries. It’s all entertainment for him

[Nexus’s blurry dialogue reads: You know nothing of what I’m trying to do, of what I’m going through. So stop acting as if you cared about him, we both know you didn’t. Now you’re going to stay put in your cell until I’ve got this all ready. And then you’ll finally do some good with that pathetic life of yours]

And, of course, the longest one is for Bloody and Harvest, why wouldn’t it?

Solar’s death was not only extremely unexpected, but it was also extremely hard hitting for everyone. Bloodmoon kinda just “accepted” it after a while. Solar is gone, they will never see him again, there’s nothing to do about it. They avoid the subject as much as they can besides that. Until Nexus kidnaps them. He has a plan to bring Solar back using them as a sacrifice. And this greatly upsets them. They see no point to it, moreover they reason that Nexus is just blinded by grief, so they attempt to talk to the bot.

It does not go well.

They still managed to escape the situation however, carrying weapons around turning out to be useful for once. Bloody is lowkey kinda mad they actually had to use the taser gun though. They leave Nexus locked up in that place and go tell the Daycare idiots what just happened, and then they take a really long vacation far away from that place, maybe go to some mountains or something. Would Nexus track them again? I’d like to think not.

Tho the saddest thing about this that I thought of was the fact that had Nexus not kidnapped them and actually explained the plan, Bloodmoon might have considered it.

*+_THEATER AND OG DAYCARE AU!_+* (PART 1)

(OK. THINGS FIRST, DO FORGIVE ME IF YOU SEE SUDEN STRANGE CHANGES IN THE ART STYLE, I swear to my mama I made all of these, just that I've been drawing this concept idea for the past 2 years and I somehow completely changed from my own art style for these sillies towards the cardboard cutouts that the game has us to offer. So if there's any confusion, the first image up there is the latest from a few weeks.)

So I had this concept AU idea where I wanted to explain WHY the Sun and Moon can be completely separate while Eclipse is just cast away from the whole 'brotherhood' the fandom has created. And BECAUSE I haven't seen anyone do this back when I had this idea, I decided to make it my own!

AU LORE:

Eclipse in this AU appeared way back when the pizzaplex was being built. Small variations of iconic attractions such as a smaller version of the atrium, a half-cut area of Rockstar Row and Bonnie Bowl which was, at the time, the biggest attraction at the in-construction were all located within the upcoming glamrocks with their beta versions. Back at that time, Eclipse was somewhat of a prototype for the present-day daycare attendant we all know and love. They began to work around a smaller version of the daycare, being introduced to the children with both daytime and naptime protocols to ensure their safety and fun in Superstar Daycare.

Eventually, though, the pizzaplex began to grow bigger and bigger, to the point where more clients of all ages started to watch the early performances of the beta Glamrocks. Due to funds increasing and higher-ups becoming much more daring, a new attraction was set up near the daycare, this being known as the present-day Theater where Sundrop and Moondrop were introduced as its performers. Working as entertainers and jesters for comedic acts, especially for the adults who dropped off their kids and went off for a bag of popcorn and a soda to watch the sillies on their performances.

Sun and Moon as Jesters:

Sun back at the time was his usual joyful and happy self, yet one full of ego and quite self-centered if you must say. As Sun was given the role of the main character in the majority of his performances, he kept the idea that everything must be according to what was planned. Perfect, clean and nicely done, he thinks that the smallest mistake could ruin his "character arc" and much rather be scrapped on set in front of all his fans than admit that sometimes you just have to get off your fantasies and set yourself in real life.

Moon on the other hand, oh boy, that guy wasn't any less good. As the antagonist of the majority of the performances, he grew a 'villainous wanna-be' personality. Where he tries to prank you, trick you, and make pathetic yet silly obstacles before laughing away in an 'evil' laugh. I mean... what would you honestly expect? This is Moon who we are talking about you guys, there's no way this guy can be a calming presence to be around, not even before the virus situation.

FAMILY BONDING:

At first, Eclipse seemed a bit shocked and wary about how there were suddenly two completely identical modelled animatronics that resembled a lot of him living just near his daycare. At some point, they didn't want to be involved in whatever these two jesters were.

But as time went by, admittedly Eclipse grew attached to the twins. Having an older sibling bonded with them as they were the ones making sure those two imbeciles wouldn't go at each other's necks for dumb reasons like a scrip, a mistake in their performance on stage or even just a simple argument. Which they had. Multiple times.

Things were always a ruckus with the jesters. They hung out on their after-hours, helped each other with their usual routines for the day, and even there were rare occasions when Sun and Moon were invited into the daycare. That, of course, was where Sun learned how to adore arts and crafts. Seeing the beauty of art from his own viewpoint. As for the Moon jester? Well, he learned about disciplinarity, the need for perpetual rest and most wholesomely, he grew to like naptime due to Eclipse's soft lullaby that they would spread to every kid alike. Although too proud to admit, he is slightly jealous of Eclipse's calming nature. In a good way.

Believe it or not, it took a while to figure one out for him! In the MHA AU, his morals are quite strong... but I managed something~

Matthew Henderson, AKA Lunar Eclipse, AKA Lunar

Mattie had lost all faith in everything and everyone around him. Heros were nothing but corrupted weeds that needed to be culled, and villains, while he’ll work with them, is still not fond of them and will turn on them if it benefits himself.

Basically, he needs to be betrayed in the hardest way for him to fall into this route...

One route, he fell in love and they dated, but after a fight and storming off, he was attacked by an anthropomorphic villain, nearly tearing out his eye as he fled for his life. When he found his love again, they scoffed and mocked him for being weak and pathetic, and left him for death... though saved, and his vision saved, his face was scarred...and his heart and mind shattered.

Now, life is his playground. Kill those who annoy you, and take what you want. 

Every day has its night, after all.

Verse 3: Holy Light Corrupted

“Who says all light has to be pure? They haven’t met me then.”

This version of Sting happened when he let all of his negative feelings he ever experienced feed into his power that went to his head.

Prelude:

A mysterious voice called from the heavens and those gathered around to discuss about the one that could help or corrupt mankind. All  had their own plans for this young boy now in Fiore that would grow into a handsome powerful young man, but the question was which side would he lean more towards?  

“After centuries of searching he has been chosen, the one when he comes of age will possess both holy light and darkness to keep balance in the world. His life will be filled with strife, turmoil and hardship and others will envy his might, but he must not stray and give into more then one over the other or else the world will be in peril and a new powerful entity will emerge and rise again to corrupt all.

When Sting was a young kid, he never realized the kind of power he would possess in the future based off the choices he made in his life. Raised by the white dragon Weisslogia, he was deceived to thinking he had to slay him in order to master the abilities of a dragon slayer, but in truth his father manipulated his memories and rested within him to assist in fighting Acnologia and prevent him from becoming a dragon one day. When Sting later discovers the truth that he was lied to, doomed to the fate of having dragonfication and that all the hell he experienced being in Sabertooth could have been prevented had his father told him the truth about his reason for being in the present timeline as well the the hardships of the war that cause him to suffer in more ways then one that nearly killed him,  the wrath and resentment within him takes over and puts him on a dark path that he never comes back from.  A mysterious voice leads him to this fate and a new entity rises from within; the tyrannical hybrid dark angel, Demon King Abyssal White Dragon Sting; corrupter of  souls.

His objective:To test, influence, manipulate and eventually have humans destroy themselves with their own choices using the seven deadly sins: wrath, envy, gluttony, greed, sloth, pride and lust.

“You are mightier. All are beneath you. Defeat them!”

Through out his time in Sabertooth, Sting was a solider of a high caliber (Captain class) and did nothing but follow his master Jiemmas’  orders. During those seven years he became very disciplined, ruthless, sadistic and power hungry in order to keep pleasing his guild master for that he would never end up being expendable and his power would keep growing. Others that weren’t in Sabertooth were considered scum and not worth his time. Sting relished beating up Natsu and Gajeel in the Magic Games for all to see when he entered his state of Dragon Force and knocked them both unconscious for a limited amount of time. Within his mind his inner voice told him to only give into his pride and anger and so he did.

“Kill that bastard. Make him suffer like no other!”

When the Twin Dragons in Dragon Force  both were harmed and defeated by the hands of Natsu on his own, Sting’s bitterness, doubt, and fear grew within his mind especially when he was physically and verbally abused and humiliated  by Jiemma.  Something in him snapped when he thought he had lost his exceed and best friend Lector whom he thought his guild master Jiemma had killed him. In a violent rage, Sting blasted light through the bastard’s chest hoping to end his life in the most intense and painful way imaginable. Luckily Lector, his exceed was saved, but he was blackmailed by Minerva, Jiemma’s daughter to win the magic games to get him back. Sting promised at all costs he would get even went and went as far  to take great delight when she lost to Erza making him the remaining member left of Sabertooth. He wanted her to suffer and anyone else that dared to hurt him in anyway.

“Pathetic. No one shall get in your way. They will all see that in due time.”

Sting when faced with the 5 remaining members of Fairy Tail that were brutally injured savored their suffering by taunting them, but only yielded to give them the win in hope to get Lector back. He didn’t care if they were all beaten to a pulp earlier. They deserved it in his mind.  All that mattered was Lector’s safe return and once they were reunited he swallowed his pride for the time being to aide Fairy Tail later on to fight the dragons from the Eclipse Gate, but never dismissed the fact of them being better then him, When faced with the fact he never fought a dragon before and that his magic at first didn’t effect the beast, he felt discouraged and had to reevaluate his priorities and become more powerful. He would rise in power and be greatly influenced as time passed.  

“You are in control now. Show no mercy to idiots.”

“After the return of the dragons back to their time period, Sting became the new Guild Master of Sabertooth and was respected by his peers. He was feared by everyone outside of it such as the people of Crocus due to his notorious reputation and the might and power they witnessed in the Magic Games. During that time he trained and held onto his grudge having his negative feelings to give him that motivation to push himself to new heights. When he was notified by a letter written by Erza to tell him of Minerva’s where abouts and that she had joined the Dark Guild Tautros, Rogue and him rushed to the scene to get her back from remaining in the dark guild and had to fight the infamous demon Mard Geer from one of Zeref’s  the dark wizard’s books. Sting’s dark ambitions and goals further increased to surpass those who challenged him.

“How dare he lie to you. These fools will get what is coming to them.”

His fears were then realized to find himself helpless when Acnologia as a dragon made himself known in the skies. Sting’s heart palpitated violently in his chest along with Rogue and the other dragon slayers that were raised by dragons not knowing at the time, that his father was waking up within him. To discover Jiemma his former master had become a demon and wanted to exact revenge upon him and Rogue was also a huge factor that fed into his fears and anger. The twin dragons were victorious and later on witnessed  Zeref mention part of his plot. Lastly, when the demons were going to wipe out ethernano and kill all of the mages with magic deficiency illness with the faces project, the dragons from within the dragon slayers emerged and told the truth about their reason for being in the present timeline. Sting on the surface was confused and grateful, but this was merely a facade for the inner turmoil he felt brewing up within him for the deception and how different his life could have been had his father not lied to him.

“You can rise from this fate. You will get stronger. Remember that.”

With his father no longer in his body and no more antibodies to prevent the dragon seed (dragonfication) from growing, Sting’s magic flourished with his training while working out his anger through brutal sessions as he reminded himself he had to get more powerful for his authority as a leader and to surpass others. His negativity also reached a new plateu as he never had forgiven what he had endured. When the war happened between the Alvarez Empire, he reached a new low and entered a deep depression furthering the changes of dragonfication going on within him. Having been ambushed and crucified, he once more had to be rescued by Fairy Tail, the guild that in his mind that mocked him. The voice would remind him all the time that he was to weak and he had so much to overcome.

“You’re better then this. Show no mercy. Your time will come.”

To make matters worse at his lowest point of doubting himself as a leader and having a nervous breakdown of losing lives in his charge, Yukino from his guild slaps him in the face to bring him back to his senses. For a moment he is stunned and his pride shot to pieces, but after hearing her plea to be the leader he needs to be he vows vengeance to have anyone from his guild who could still fight take out as many enemies  as possible.  A more powerful villain shows up only to relocate him from his group. Luckily he comes back just in time to save the life of Yukino from a horrible fate. He then squares off against the one known as Larcade who puts him through Hell and back by testing his resolve further increasing his wrath to kill him. Sting overcomes the magic of pleasure by eating it since it is white and light and adds to his own power to use his more powerful spells without much effort.

BOY OH BOY ANON There’s a horrible scene I’ve been thinking of in that AU, but I didn’t want to depress anybody with it, BUT SINCE YOU ASKED SO NICELY...

Lena ran to their special spot in thewoods as fast as her feet could take her, and in her panic she woundup scratching herself against sharp thorns and thickets. But now painmeant nothing, as fear flooded her senses. “Webby!” She calledout, nearly tripping once or twice. “Webby! Come out, hurry!”

There stood the well, where they firstmet, and from hence forth had been their designated meeting place.Webby Upon being called, there was a pink sprinkle of fairy dustaround the well before she poofed into being. She raised a hand infriendly greeting before catching the terror on her friend's face.“Lena? What's-”

“You have to get out of here!”Lenagrabbed Webby's shoulders. “You have to go!”

Webby blinked rapidly. “Go? Gowhere?”

“Anywhere! Just... don't be here!”Lena knew she sounded ridiculous, but it wasn't as if she had time toplan an elaborate speech. “Magica's going to come after you, andshe won't stop until she gets you and your fairy scales!”

Webby's eyes widened, but she puffedout her chest, holding up her wand. “She can't lay a finger on me,so long as I have this! I told you, all wands have a protectivebarrier-”

“YOU THINK SHE GIVES A DAMN ABOUTTHAT?!” Lena shouted, almost pushing Webby in her frustration. “Youhave to GO! She'll find a way to get them, no matter what! And onceshe has her hands on them, her magic will be more powerful thanbefore! She'll be unstoppable! Now get... get out of here!”

“But... what about you?” Webbyasked, refusing to budge from her spot. “I can't leave you herealone with her! I promised you, I would give you the destiny youdeserve!” And to hell with the one the Elders had deemed – Lenawould not follow in Magica's footsteps to become the villain. Shewould not. Webby wouldn't let it happen.

“I'll... be fine!” It was a lie,and they both knew it. Once Magica knew Lena had helped Webby escape,the punishment would be more severe than ever. Lena swallowedbitterly. “You... you can't save me. But you can help other people.Isn't that what you always wanted? To become an Enchantress, so youcan go around helping the rest of the world? You can't do that here!”

Webby's fingers trembled. There wastruth being spoken here – and even if she could save Lena, thatwould go against the official written destiny. Breaking a rule thatbig would mean Webby would never rise up and become anything morethan a simple fairy. She might even lose her wand and her magic. Whatwould Granny think? “... I can't... I can't... I can't!” Sherepeated it over and over, a mantra to strengthen her resolve. “Ican't leave you! I won't! You can't make me!”

“You have to!” Lena pushed herharder this time, on purpose. “Webby, please! Think of all the goodyou can do for the world! You're better than this! Just GO!”“IWON'T! I WON'T, I WON'T, I WON'T!”

Lena kept pushing, and Webby keptchanting, and for a brief moment Lena considered using her own darkreserves of magic, to see if that would do the trick and finally wakeWebby up – to make her see there was nothing here worth saving. Butshe couldn't. Her body hitched, tears flooding her eyes, and afterone more weak push, she held onto Webby's shoulders, lowering herhead. “You... you brat, why are you...like this...” She'd neverfelt more pathetic in her entire life. What was the point of caringfor someone if you couldn't do anything to help them? Why burden herwith these feelings?

Webby's little arms came around Lena,holding her close, wishing she could find words of comfort. Ofreassurance.

“Ooooh, isn't this sweet.”

Both girls froze, hearing that darklyfamiliar voice. On instinct, Webby shoved Lena behind her, holdingout her wand the same way a brave knight would defend their princess.There in the shadows, the witch walked out, as calmly as if she wasout for a casual stroll. The sight of the terrified duo filled herwith sadistic glee. “You two are enough to give someone cavities.But, it's funny... I think Lena might have skipped a few details. Nowthen, when exactly where you going to tell the idiot you were usingher to get scales from her wings?”

“Webby is not-” But that wasn't thepoint of the insult, wasn't it? Lena's fingers curled up into fists.“You made me do that! You said if I got you those scales, you'd setme free!” She was grateful to be behind Webby and not see her face.

Although she would have been stunned tosee that Webby wasn't shocked or broken. Her hard, angry face didn'tchange one bit upon hearing this news. “Back off, witch! Long as Ihave this wand, you can't do a thing to me!”

Magica put a hand to her heart,feigning sympathy. “My, my... hearing that, and you're as loyal asever? Not a flicker of doubt about your so-called friendship? Youmust be even stupider than I first thought.” She walked in acircle around the girls, and they steadily eyed her. “But even I'mwilling to admit when I can't do something, pitiful as it may be.Yes, so long as you carry around that stick, I can't lay a finger onyou. Yet, it leaves out one minor detail...” She stopped, tiltingher head, and holding out her fingers. “...I can do whatever Iplease to her.”

With one snap of her fingers, theshadow underneath Lena suddenly seized her legs, and dragged her tothe well. Lena screamed - “NOT THE SHADOW ROOM! PLEASE, NOOOO!”and with all the strength she could muster her fingers dug into thetop of the well, kicking and screeching not to be dragged down anyfurther.

“LENA!” Webby grabbed onto Lena'sarm, trying to pull her away, but it was about as helpful as a coolbreeze. Rage flooding her veins, she whipped around, aiming her wandat Magica. “Let her go! LET HER GO RIGHT NOW!”

“Or... what?” Magica chuckled,cupping her hand with her chin. “I imagine if you magic could dosomething, we'd already see something. You're still just a newbiehere, aren't you?”

Webby jabbed the wand forward, but thetruth was clear to them all. She hadn't mastered any magic that couldharm or protect others, and it popped out a few sprinkles of colorsas a demonstration. “I... I...” She kept looking back to Lena,who was holding onto the surface world as best she could.

“I was hoping I wouldn't have tospell things out, but here we are.” Magica clicked her tongue,slightly disappointed. “Toss away your wand, and let me have allthe scales I want. In exchange, I'll let Lena go... for good.”

“... For good?” Webby repeated, hervoice soft and hopeful. “You'll... let leave her alone?”

“Of course. What would I need herfor, when I have your power?”

Lena could hear this as clear as day,and suddenly that eclipsed her fear of the Shadow Room tenfold. “No!No no no no! DON'T YOU DARE!” One of her hands slipped, and it tooka scrambled effort to get it back onto the ledge. “Don't do it,Webby! You know she won't keep her word! She'll put the entirekingdom under her heel! DON'T DO IT!”

“True,” Magica admitted with aflippant wave of her hand. “You have no proof that I'll do what Isay, so, I guess you just have to choose. Which is more important –your wand, or Lena?”

Webby knew the real debate being tossedat her.

Her magic, or Lena.

The Kingdom, or Lena.

Her future, or Lena.

Lena continued to scream, “WEBBY,DON'T!” but it was obvious to everyone what the young fairy wasthinking as she stared down at her wand. No amount of pleading orreasoning would reach her.

Webby felt her eyes water, and sheweakly laughed, shaking her head. “I guess... I just wasn't fit tobe anybody's Fairy Godmother after all.” Even as she heard Lenagiving one last horrible plea, she shut her eyes and threw the wandto her left, letting it roll in the grass. She slowly knelt down,keeping her head low, exposing her tiny wings that now stayedperfectly still.

“Now, was that so hard?” Magicaclapped once in her victory, stepping towards the submissive fairy.“Honestly, was all this drama necessary? It'll be over in a jiffy.Let me see here...” She leaned over Webby, inspecting the colorfulwings. “How many scales do I need? One, two... how about all ofthem?” She then swiftly reached down, seized both wings with oneclaw-like hand, and ripped them off Webby's back in one fellswoop.

Webby jerked, and then, without makinga single sound, fell over to her side, as lifeless as a rag doll.Lena could see all the color drain from the girl's eyes, leavingnothing but empty white husks, and it brought a fresh wave of screamsto her lips.

Magica crushed her wings in her hand,letting them absorb through her skin, and her eyes flashed red, pink,yellow, all the colors of Webby's wings, her dark aura increasing asshe let out a cackle. “Ooooh, yes! YES! The power... it's...amazing! I can feel it in every bone of my body!” Another laugh,and she tested out her enhanced abilities, hurling gigantic fireballsto the forest and setting it aflame, dragging down the clouds totwist them into lightning, and with one wave, all of the grass died,and the rocks in the well crumbled, letting Lena tumble out of thewell unharmed.

“Webby!” Lena crawled on her handsand knees trying to get to her friend – but Magica's fingers formedshadowy prison bars around Webby's lifeless body, hoisting her upinto the air in a makeshift cage.

“Ah ah ah,” Magica tutted, wavingone finger. “I don't know much about fairy biology... what if shegrows a new pair? That would mean an endless supply ofpower-enhancers! Of course, it could just as easily mean she'll neverget new ones... I'm willing to put in a waiting period. Then, whoknows, maybe I'll eat her heart.”

Lena wobbled, trying to stand up, andran at Magica, her own magic trying to live in her fists. “Let hergo! Let her-” but she was easily backhanded by Magica and sentrolling across the ground.

“What are you so upset about?”Magica asked, lightly scoffing. “If you ask me, you're a winnerhere too. You finally got what you wanted... you're free to go. Notlike I really need you anymore. I'd like to say it's been niceknowing you, but, why end our relationship on another lie? If you'llexcuse me... I've got a kingdom to conquer. Toodles!” With one moredemonic laugh, her body dissolved into thousands of fluttering bats,leaving the dying forest and invading the sky with darkness.

Lena raised her head, smelling smokefrom the forest, but was unable to see much else, her eyes floodedwith fresh tears. All she could make out was the little white wand inthe dead grass, abandoned by its owner. She reached out to grab it,and she held it to her chest, sobbing over the price she paid.

“I'm sorry... I'm sorry... I'm sosorry...”

Oooooooh that's a fun question! Ahhh I think I'm gonna go with media just cause they've been more consistently good in recent years, while with the games... yeah, Mania was fucking awesome! But then there's Lost World before it and Forces after it...

Sure, Sonic Boom in either game form or TV show form fucking sucked (in my opinion), and there's some very ugly bits of both the Archie and IDW comics, but in recent years? I mean, look at the Sonic movie! It's AMAZING!

Though... I wanna do a separate evaluation w/ just my FAVES from each category

Shadow the Hedgehog (2005) v. Sonic Universe: The Dark Trilogy

Okay, let's start off with saying that with what we're given alone, The Dark "Trilogy" should've been a duology, and The Great Chaos Caper should've been a Sonic the Hedgehog arc. I absolutely understand why TGCC exists, it's meant to set up Knuckles and Relic being in the overarching plot. But it just focuses WAY to heavily on the Dark Gaia monsters, which was part of Sonic the Hedgehog's as it was doing an adaptation of Sonic Unleashed at the time. It doesn't fit comfortably within the "ShTH sequel" storyline.

So what I mean here when comparing ShTH to "The Dark Trilogy" is.... just the first and third arcs of TDT (Shadow Fall & Total Eclipse)

Which lows are lower? Which highs are higher?

The highs in each are their villains, I'd say, and... man choosing between Black Doom and Eclipse is HARD for me. One might look from a distance and argue that Doom is the better villain, while Eclipse is the better character, though I'd say that Eclipse does pretty well in the villain department too! They might not be the strongest of foes, but they make up for that PLENTY with their wit. The way they're able to live rent free in Shadow's mind through basically the whole trilogy, and the fact that flatly stating, the Dark Arms are young wisps, literal CHILDREN that were genetically manipulated to be Black Arms, and then were put into custody with the very person who did that to them is... frightening! Eclipse isn't someone to take lightly! But Doom also has a similar wit, and the strength that Eclipse lacks! He's an incredibly threatening figure that is ever present in the game, practically as much the deuteragonist as he is the antagonist, guiding Shadow down the path of revenge and destruction (or attempting to, depending on the route)! But in the end... I love both of these guys, I can't pick a favorite ^^"

Besides, I'm stalling. The deciding factor for me between the two are in their lows, and...

The Dark Trilogy, very easily.

Why? One answer; The semi-hero route ending of ShTH

After defeating Black Doom in the... matrix? Idk. Anyway,

After defeating Doom, Shadow starts talking about their past and present, and is clearly showing signs of being su!cidal. This alone isn't bad, it could be done well! I pray to the gods that I'm handling that kind of plot line well with my own AU Shadow! But the way ShTH handles it... Shadow starts to walk off into the distance, thinking who knows what, and the companion by their side, Vector the Crocodile, gives out a pathetic "Don't go there, yet... You could be..."

First, don't go there EVER. Shadow should not ever get to point where they want to end their life, but IF they do, VECTOR, TELL THEM WHAT THEY COULD BE, DON'T JUST END THE SENTENCE ON A HANGER LIKE THAT, GIVE SHADOW A REASON TO LIVE, ANY REASON!

Honestly though, this video puts it better than I ever could.

What lows does TDT have in comparison? A very pathetic and annoying starting antagonist that dies early on into the story to give way to Eclipse becoming the main enemy? One line in SU #68 that is awkwardly worded? I'll take that over ShTH's downright harmful depiction of someone with su!cidal thoughts and how to help them through it ANY DAY.

GASTINA / UNIVERSITY AU

There’s a new app at the campus that allows you to chat with some other student it matches you with according to your hobbies and likes. Nina logs in this app to prove Luna wrong and ends up talking all night long with a very interesting stranger. Little she knows this guy is Gaston, her high school crush, who is also Matteo’s (Luna’s boyfriend) best friend. 

 Ok, so I know I’m taking too long to update, but in my defense this has been a crazy month. If you don’t believe me ask @lifesruiner​ xD! This one, as Gastón would say, is puntastic. Yeah, is kind of short, but I promise next chapter will be longer. Oh! and this one has Lutteo and Simbar included ;)!

CHAPTER 4 - ABOUT VENGEFUL EX-GIRLFRIENDS AND EXTRAORDINARY PUNS

And she ran away, again.

Not that he was expecting something different, to be honest, but part of him wanted to know what he did to make her loathe him that much. 

Did he say something that offended her? If so, he should apologize. Or did someone told her something bad about him? Some friends told him Delfina was dirtying around his reputation after they broke up. Talk about bad losers. If so, he should clarify everything to her, tell her it was all a lie, he was really worried about what she could have listened his ex-girlfriend say to treat him like that.

Don’t get him wrong, is no like he would need everyone to like him, that’s more a Matteo thing to do. But the girl is his best friend’s girlfriend’s best friend, so it would be nice to have someone to talk to when they meet on the campus, as his best friend gets totally eclipsed when his girl appears. 

He would prefer to burn his own eyes by looking directly at the sun for hours, than those cheesy dorks being all over the other. Also, because as his best friend has pointed out, the girl was studying his dream career, so talking to her about books must be really interesting.

“I’ll get a drink, mate” he told Matteo, smiling at him and Luna. He didn’t want to stay there with the couple, they needed some privacy, and he urgently required to avoid being the third wheel.

He wandered around the hall of the mansion after getting a drink from one of the people of the catering, there were some faces he merely recognized from high school, but no one he could put a name on, except for Ambar and the guy she was dating, who he knew was Luna’s best male friend.

He wasn’t in the mood to talk with them, as the blonde (who once he called his friend) was her ex’s best friend, and he was sure she had to do with everything Delfina had said about him. In fact, he believes she was the one the black-haired got the idea from, but it was talking to them, or becoming part of the furniture. And, even if the latest looked like a pretty great idea in comparison, talking with them could also give him answers about whether his ex-girlfriend had said something to Nina about him. Again, not that it was a big of a thing for him, he just needed to know if she had something to do to say behavior from the other girl.

He was paranoid, ok?

“Hey” he greeted as he approached the couple, and received the perfectly drawn eyebrow of the blonde girl raised in his direction in response.

“So, are you back at talking to me now?” she asked, without caring to greet him first.

His boyfriend was more polite.

“Hey! Gastón, right?” he said, raising his hand for him to shake it. “Nice to see you again, dude.” he added, with an apologetic smile.

He shook his hand.

“Nice to see you too” Gastón answered, and then looked at the girl. “You were the one who stopped talking to me after I broke up with Delfina, Ámbar. And then helped her to make up who knows what terrible things about me, and spread them all over the campus.” He reminded her, and she rolled her eyes, as her boyfriend gave her a ‘you shouldn’t have done that’ look, she answered with an ‘I know’ one, he had never seen in her before.

Dating this guy must be changing her, he though.

“Ok, I’m sorry about that, it wasn’t our best idea.” Did he just get an apology from Ambar? “But Delfi is my best friend, and she was really hurt and mad at you. I’d do anything to make my friend feel better, you would do the same for Matteo.”

He raised his eyebrows.

“I didn’t have a date in months because of your friend’s way to feel better, and you know nor I or Matteo would have done something like that.” he replied.

“You broke up with her by phone” she tried to justify her actions.

“She LIED to me, more than once” he reminded her.

He is one of those people who hate lies, so as soon as he knew Delfina was pretending to like the same things as him so he would date her, when in reality she loathed it all she said she loved, he felt heartbroken. Yeah, Matteo had tried to make him see that if she did all that was because she must really like him, but boy he hated when people wasn’t honest with him, and if she lied about those things, how could he know she wasn’t going to do it again about other things? He wasn’t able to trust her anymore, so he ended the relationship.

Maybe he exaggerated, but that’s how he is.

And yeah, he broke up with her by phone, but it was because he couldn’t see her while doing it, he didn’t want her to put her best hurt puppy face, and make him feel like he was the villain, or feel like he should change his mind about it.

“So, I heard you like my band’s music.” Simon made his best to change the topic.

“Yeah man, Un Destino is such a hit.” He decided to catch it. “I have it on my phone, and I’m always listening to it. When are you guys launching your record? I’m waiting for it like since forever.” He added, and the other guy widely smiled at him.

“Soon, man. That’s all I can say. Our manager won’t let us tell the date yet, but you will know soon, we are going to do a lot of promotion for it.” He answered, with a proud smile.

Ámbar was looking proud too.

“We wanted to play something here tonight. But we all had shifts today at the Jam & Roller, and the boys decided to cover mine so I could come over to my best friend’s birthday.” Ámbar poked him with her elbow, and he laughed. “And spend some time with my girlfriend, of course.”

“What a shame, I wanted to see you playing live.” Gastón said.

“You can come over and see any of our rehearsals at the J&R” Simon proposed, and he accepted. He loved music, and the band was really nice, he loved their lyrics, mostly.

After a couple of minutes he decided to leave the couple alone. He didn’t ask Ámbar about the thing that made him talk to her at first, as he didn’t want to make the other guy feel uncomfortable by going back to that topic, and also because he figured out that if Delfina’s vengeance had something to do with Nina’s behavior around him or not, it didn’t matter, he would still have to talk to the girl first.

He tried to approach the girl during the dinner, but it was impossible, as she managed to sit as far as possible from him. Then, during the birthday song, he gave it another try, but she avoided him again, saying something about going to help Luna’s parents, and disappearing.

Again.

He decided to give up, he wasn’t going to talk to her during that party, so he had to try to do it next time he sees her on the campus.

He dropped himself into one of the armchairs and took of his phone.

Opened his conversation with felicity without even thinking about doing it.

Was she enjoying her night?

RollerTrack: Hey stranger, how is your night going?

He typed and sent the message, not even expecting her to answer soon, maybe she was dancing around with her friends, and would only find his message the next morning.

Her respond came just a couple of minutes later.

Felicity: Not so good :(

RollerTrack: Why? –he asked, worried.

Felicity: I don’t know if I should tell you about it, it’s about a guy.

He felt a bit of jealousy.

RollerTrack: It’s ok, you can tell me. –he sent, and then looked at the dots on his screen, noticing she had erased her message a couple of times, before sending it.

Felicity: I just… I like this guy from long ago, and he is here at the party. I knew he was going to be here, but I was hoping he wouldn’t notice me, but he did, and I’m not capable to talk to him, so I’m hiding on the bathroom so he can’t find me. –he sighed while reading her words. –Yeah, I know. I must sound pathetic.

RollerTrack: You don’t. But, why are you so afraid? If I was him, I’d like you to talk to me. You are a really nice girl.

Felicity: I’m just not good at talking with guys, and I don’t want to make a fool of myself in front of him, it would be a disaster. What if he laughs at me? I wouldn’t be able to look at him again, I’d feel really bad.

RollerTrack:  If he laughs at you then he wouldn’t deserve you. –he wrote, feeling angry at this guy he doesn’t know for making this amazing girl feel that way. -And, anyway, you can talk with guys, you’re talking to me right now and… shocking news! I’m a guy.

He wasn’t looking at her, but in his head she was laughing at his joke.

Felicity: It’s different, I’m not really talking to you, I’m writing some words on my phone and they, by the magic of technology, end up appearing on your screen. You know? That’s the reason why most of the people feel more comfortable sending text messages than calling, or even approaching each other in person.

He smiled. She was such a geek, and he loved it.

RollerTrack: Well, if you ask for my humble opinion, I believe you should give it a try. Just imagine you’re talking to me, show him the amazing girl who is able to talk with a total stranger about science fiction at the middle of the night, and if he doesn’t appreciate it, then he doesn’t deserve you. –He regretted it as soon as he pressed send. What was he doing? Sending her to the arms of another guy? Stupid, that’s what he was. But he wanted her to be happy, and if talking with this idiotic guy made her feel that way, then he would encourage her to do it.

Even if he was, by the time, burning in jealousy.

Felicity: You are right, I guess. –He read. -Thank you, you’re an amazing friend. –she stated, and he sighed. Frienzoned by a girl via text message, this must be karma.

They said goodbye and he put his phone down, just on time to see his best friend approaching him, with a drink on each hand, offering one to him as he sat by his side.

“Talking with your imaginary girlfriend again? Dude, that’s pathetic.” Matteo mocked, and he frowned at him.

“She’s not my imaginary… anything. She exists.”

“Yeah, on your phone screen.” His friend replied, and gave a sip to his drink. “Anyway, I wanted to apologize. I made you come here, and I've been with Luna all the time, and let you alone. I hope you're not bored, or something, that being the reason why you’re talking with your phone.”

Gastón laughed.

“Don’t worry, buddy. I know you go moon walking when she is around.” Pun in the conversation about Luna? Check. “Is not like I didn’t know that would happen when I accepted to come, anyway. And, indeed, I’ve been talking with some people.” He drank a little from his glass.

“Yeah, I saw you talking with Ambar and the guitarist.” Matteo shrugged. “Everything fine?”

“Well, she apologized about that thing she and Delfina did.” Gastón told him. “So yeah, everything fine. I guess dating the guy is doing great for her, not that you weren’t a good influence.” He added, fearing his best friend would misunderstand his words.

“Shut up, I was the worst influence.” His friend laughed. “We weren’t for each other, that’s it. Both of us were messed up, we couldn’t do well for the other, even if we understood each other pretty well.”  

Gastón nodded.

“And I’m glad she is with the guitarist, as you said, dating him is doing great for her as dating with Luna is doing great for me.”

Oh, there it was, Gastón though, that ‘moon landing’ smile his friend put when he talks about his girlfriend. Wouldn’t it be great to feel something like that for some girl? He sure was envious of that, he hadn’t feel something like that for anyone, not even for Delfina when they were dating, and when he starts having feelings for a girl, he just sends her to some other’s guy arms.

He is an idiot.

“Talking about Luna, where is she?” he asked.

“IDK, she said she needed to go to talk something with Nina, and then abandoned me.” Drama-tteo made one of his exaggerated dramatic grimaces, and Gastón laughed.

“Oh boy, you’re screwed.”

His friend frowned at him.

“I bet you, one day you will fall in love with a girl, and ‘screwed’ will be a small word to describe how you will feel about her.” His friend said, and Gastón rolled his eyes. Yeah, as if he could be more lunatic for a girl than the Italian.

He reminded himself to add that pun on the list for future conversations.

Polar AU: Polar is a trophy husband, Eclipse is the one that makes money in the relationship by selling gold from a dimension made of it on the black market.

Lord Artemis AU: Lord Artemis considers Telesto (his Moon) to be his royal advisor and overseer but denies it to everyone except Telesto.

Pathetic Villain Eclipse AU: Infinity has a tendency to hold onto and hide behind the closest person when someone is scary. Just post-trauma, it doesn't even have to be someone yelling or angry, just someone tall, so KC wasn't really able to be around Infinity for a bit while he was recovering from his trauma.

Baby Solar Flare AU: Eclipse probably has and probably will continue to use a baby wrap to keep baby Solar Flare with him at all times.

Comet AU: Comet found out what candy is because of Lunar. Lunar got Comet addicted to candy.

Zodiac Brothers AU: Taurus cries if his big brothers don't pick him up.

Kidnapped Blood Moon AU: Gibbous gets over the separation anxiety a long time before Buck does. So Buck can usually be found being a koala or a backpack on Gibbous before Buck finally gets some good coping methods for being separated from his twin.
