jacket's coming out good! all the patches ive made & bought so far have been sewn on ^_^ my plan after this is to start on patching up the back & continue on the sleeves while also adding spikes on the shoulders! can't wait!

My lemon demon battle vest :)

I love it so fucking much and I'm gonna yap about every single element on it. (I'm still planning on adding more tho)

On the back: lemon demon written, main part has cabinet man painted on top, there are candy cane antlers on the sides (from the I Am Become Christmas album)

On the front: bottle cap pin of an eye (no eyed girl reference), patch in japanese 七転び八起き (nana korobi ya oki) it's a japanese saying "fall down seven times, get up eighth" (line in the song New Way Out), shark plushie keychain (jaws song reference), hot glue pin of simplified lemon demon logo, Pizza Heroes patch (made to look like a pizzeria logo)(pizza heroes song reference), hot glue CD disc pin with ' MUSIC ?' written on it (reference to the CD on the Dinosaurcheatra album cover and the look of one of the Dinosaurchestra CDs), 4 bottle cap pins with a shark tooth on it in different coloured backgrounds (another jaws song reference), patch of an atomic bomb going off with 'fine' written on it ( Fine song reference), 'dance like an idiot' patch with a funky dancing guy (reference to a song of the same name), cherry on an explosive background (hip hop cherry pop song reference), 3 bottle cap pins of the sky, grass and a rose, each crossed off (sky is not blue song reference), CD pin made from an actuall cd with 'lemon demon' written on it, hot glue pin of a 'view monster album' cd disc, 'hello my name is' patch with 'Amnesia' written ('Amnesia was her name' reference)(this is actually one of my favorite patches here), lemon demon logo patch, and finally the last patch (and also one of my favorites blue square with a dot on the side and red circle with a dot on the side overlapping each other with a yellow chair inside ('musical chairs' song reference)

I also have a pair of unfinished lemon demon pants and more plans of making lemon demon things/clothes (mainly a 'your evil shadow has a cup of tea' shirt, more patches (with references to songs like 'eyewishes', 'indie cindy and the lo-fi lullabies' and 'dinosaurchestra part 3') and lemon demon themed flannel(s?) :D

Since they're only seen for so short, here's all my babies! From my newest Animation Meme "I wanna be a machine" ! :D

All of them have the newest Narrator (Button)'s eyes, because of the animation meme! They all usually have normal pupils and don't cry golden tears haha (Lemon can't cry at all! And Vincent's eyes are blind actually too!)

I'm just very happy to see all of my babies like this in one place haha

Lemon Merengue Iron On Patch (2002) 🍋🤍

My first Hot Topic purchase was this Lemon Meringue patch in either 2002 or 2003. I remember she was the only Strawberry Shortcake item in the Hot Topic at Smith Haven Mall at the time, a store that still remains open today. (The Spencer’s my friends and I used to chill in front of has since closed down.) I wound up safety-pinning her to a bag I’m pretty sure I also doodled all over in marker. If I had realized what a unique relic she would come to be, I would’ve preserved her, not pinned her. 💛

Lemon Meringue reminds me of my early years, when I was still “fresh” and learning about goth, punk, and other kinds of music-based subcultures. That’s why Lemon Meringue will always be one of my favorite friends of Strawberry Shortcake. 🍰

Lemon’s Report From the Pumpkin Patch

Okay @ladytessa74, this is for you 🎃

Here is the pumpkin patch, there is a whole field full of pumpkins you can go out and pick yourself. They are priced by size, but there was a deal where you can get as many pumpkins as you can fit into a wheelbarrow for one lump sum price. We took full advantage of that 😂

Aside from the pumpkin patch there are several other activities including the corn maze, an apple canon, hay rides and a barrel train which is a bunch of plastic barrels that the kids sit in and get towed around the farm! There was also a little market in a barn with squashes and other produce, honey, apple cider etc. and there was a snack shack with coffee and cider, apple cider donuts and other snackies.

They also have those fun cut outs all over the farm where you can have your picture taken. I thought TK would definitely have to have his picture taken in this one!

7. hair-ties or scrunchies?

i love how easy hair ties are to carry around. pop one on your wrist and bam! unnoticeable. but scrunchies are soooo much better for your hair it’s not even funny

29. how do you like your shower water?

either freezing so i wake tf up or cool down. or until right before it’s unbearably hot. like when your skin gets all pink. that’s my shit. it’s not good for me ik but i love how it like clouds your head and gets in your lungs. my own sauna

42. an app you frequently use besides this godforsaken site?

hmm. safari would be an easy one bc of the amount of fic writing and reading i do. netflix?

Hey! It's been a while since the last garden update. I'll probably do something a little more comprehensive later, but for now, I'm very excited about the batch of heirloom basils I just got seeds for. There's two more varieties that I haven't planted yet, we'll have to see what grows.

I'm especially excited about the holy basil, I've never had that before, and it's a different species than the rest. Very exciting possibilities there.
