Watch 18 Minutes of New Ghost of Tsushima Gameplay Shots

Sucker Punch Productions has released a new 18-minute gameplay trailer for their upcoming open-world samurai game Tsushima Ghost, highlighting the game’s exploration, combat, and customization elements. The latest trailer marks the first real Ghost of Tsushima footage provided by Sucker Punch since E3 2018, when the studio first showed the game's combination of swordplay and stealth. Sucker Punch has also posted a story trailer since that time introducing players to Jin Sakai, the main protagonist. The video shows elements of Tsushima Island discovery, where players can call a ghost and fly freely across the globe. A gameplay feature allows players to invoke a taste of wind as an unobtrusive guide to steer them toward their target. Players can also be directed by animals — like foxes or birds — towards secrets in the open world, taking them to hidden shrines or collectibles. The open-world looks amazing too, with bamboo trees, open plains, tall mountains, and swirling flower petals fields for players to discover. The trailer also introduces Jin, the samurai hero they will be playing as in Tsushima’s Ghost, to players better. Fighting is said to be influenced by samurai films, with one-on-one standoffs against other warriors resolving in fast, one-blow strikes and parries. Players will have the option of playing "honorably" as a samurai, or using deception and assassinations as the titular "ghost" to battle the invading Mongols. You can watch the gameplay here. To add to the game's cinematic dimension, players will be willing to play Tsushima's entire Ghost with a fully subtitled Japanese voice track, along with an optional black-and-white film grain filter designed to make it feel more like a classic samurai film. Amazon Prime Announces New Web Series,Pataal Lok

Amazon Prime Video today revealed the logo and announced the launch date of the new Amazon Original Series – Pataal Lok. Produced by Clean Slate Films, Paatal Lok marks the digital debut of renowned actress Anushka Sharma as a producer. The video gives us a peek into a seemingly peaceful world that nurses a dormant, dark and dangerous underbelly – Paatal Lok.

Coupled with a foreboding narration, the video casts a spotlight on the darker side of humanity. Filled with mystique, thrill and drama, Amazon Prime Video’s latest Original explores the dark bylanes of immorality. Binge watching

‘Binge Watching’ is another of those new words added in the lexicon in the year 2020. It literally means watching back to back episodes of a web series or television soap opera, mostly on a web backed platform.

Like it or not, ideal or not, it does have the capacity to hook on to you. Once you decide to see something and make a move, most of the times, it is the only move you make. Then you get hooked, kind of trapped and do keep watching the sequences one at a time. Almost like the tag line of a popular potato chip commercial - No One can eat just one.

I have discovered, no surpise here, that my flavour was history, thrillers, action. Have already gulped quite a few of these Binge addictors and currently watching an Israeli spy drama - Fauda, which literally means ‘Riot’.

But there is more or less a common thread to most of these entangling stories. There is a underlying base plot, and then there are multiple sub plots based on individual storylines and fancies. Sometimes these sub plots get more entangling and kind of divert from the basic plot. But yes, they keep adding to the flavour and reveal quite a bit on the depth of the characters and their behaviours. 

Its almost like living someone else’ life. I voraciously consumed four seasons (40 episodes) of a fictional history web series named ‘ The man in the high castle’. It was about a fictional alternate history about a world where the Nazis had won and the world as we know never existed.

Indian series like Special Ops, The Family Man, Bhaukaal, Pataallok, Breath (Season 1 & 2) are also good to see. The treatment of these series are all grey shaded and it kind of treats the characters in a real life manner. No one is completely black or white. We all are the devices of our fallacies and it is good that the definition is done that way.

Fauda is already one season down and I’m enjoying the middle eastern flavour of it all. Its a whole different world out there in the streets of Nabulas, Ramallah, Nazareth and elsewhere, which was supposed to be the promised land to people from 3 religions.

It is again doing its part what it is meant to do - grip its audience, which is me

In a show full of so many loose threads, it might be tricky to tie them all together in the climax. And Paatal Lok is no exception to this. The story derails here & there but picks up eventually in the last two episodes. It might also be the makers’ intention to show us the workings of a cop’s investigation & how each lead might not be fruitful. What also didn’t quite work for me was the clanky Hinglish dialogue – a problem that much other Indian content has suffered with.  There are but minor hiccups in a show that has so much more to offer. Staying true to the central theme of the three estates – Swarg, where the elite resides; Dharti, for humans & Paatal; home to darkness, animals & all sorts of filth; Paatal Lok drives home that India coexists somewhere between all three. . .
