Former First Lady Pat Nixon attended her husband, President Richard Nixon's inauguration ball wearing a dress made from a mimosa silk satin, trimmed with gold and silver embellishments designed by the one and only Harvey Berin. The dress was an elegant column of satin with a beaded waist like a cropped jacket worn with it. Mrs. Nixon paired her dress with shoes by Herbert Levine.

Richard Nixon was a complicated man and probably not the greatest husband at times, but I'll never forget seeing him absolutely broken at his wife's funeral. I don't think this is the reaction of a man who didn't still love his wife.
