I absolutely adore the little figurines they made for G3.5, but I haven't looked at the sets they came in all that often for some reason... I only ever knew of this moving ferris wheel toy just because I had one and then I broke it

weirdly enough, I don't remember seeing any G3 commercials so I can't share much in that regard :'3 I could try to look for how they sounded in Polish, I imagine the sound of that would still be nostalgic

She had to be explained that no, she can't use magic on her own without a grown-up around. No, animals don't count as grown-ups, you need someone with opposable thumbs. No, you aren't big enough even if you're six now, you need to be as big as your father before you can. She'll spend her childhood trying to find a way around that veto, will bribe the Templars in the clinic to stand there and let her play with magic without telling her parents. Here's a fic!

She's more on the quiet type, physically, and will like books more than more other active games, has constantly other adults around and is very inquisitive. She needs to be coaxed to go and play with other children.

In the evening, she winds down with cuddles and a story, she favours those that explain stuff, that never goes to their ending because she asks too much stuff. Mamae has a whole plethora of songs to sing her to sleep (when the questions becomes too many and Aisling decides that that's it gremlin now we sleep), most of which she invents on the spot and whose lyrics make little sense (Example 1 , discarded after Bull told her in Orlais they called mamae "rabbit" and she decided she hates rabbits now. Example 2 . Example 3. You can bet she'll have songs about sleepy horses but I can't find if there is one. Elvish or Trade or sometimes Tevene.).

Her favourite colour is lilac, as a child she doesn't like muted, unsaturated colour, she goes around looking like a unicorn. (socks are always mismatched because papa's are. Cullen doesn't do it on purpose, but she does.). She'll start wearing muted colour with adolescence, but if given the chance, she still goes around looking like her wardrobe is on LSD.

Serious answer: I think of queerness as a subculture distinct from mainstream LGBT acceptance, and queer is how I most strongly identify. The distinction to me lies in queer's intentional rejection of rigid compartmentalization of sexual and gender identity. It is impossible to sanitize queerness, and things that cannot be sanitized cannot be monetized. Which isn't to say that subcultures can't be monetized (if they couldn't there would be no Hot Topics), but with capitalism being the dominant social structure worldwide, a group with goals and ideals that aren't profitable is inherently a subculture, imo.

Btw, thank you for asking, anon! I hadn't ever rly thought abt this before but it was cool to research different opinions on how subcultures are defined.
