How to Choose the Right Passive Fire Protection Company for Your Project
In the realm of construction and building safety, passive fire protection plays a vital role in safeguarding structures and the lives within them. This approach involves the use of fire-resistant materials and design strategies to contain fires and prevent their spread, thereby allowing occupants more time to evacuate and enabling emergency services to respond effectively. Selecting the right passive fire protection company is a critical decision that can significantly impact the safety and compliance of any project.
Understanding Passive Fire Protection
To make an informed choice, it is essential to understand what passive fire protection entails. Unlike active fire protection systems, which rely on mechanical or electrical devices such as sprinklers and alarms, passive fire protection focuses on building design and materials. This includes fire-resistant walls, floors, and ceilings, as well as fire doors and compartments that limit the movement of smoke and flames.
Passive fire protection is not merely a regulatory checkbox; it is a crucial element of a building's safety strategy. When executed correctly, it can save lives and minimize property damage. As such, the selection of the right company for implementing these systems cannot be overstated.
Assessing Experience and Expertise
When evaluating potential passive fire protection companies, one of the first aspects to consider is their experience and expertise in the field. Companies that have been in the industry for several years will likely have encountered a wide range of scenarios and challenges. This breadth of experience allows them to offer valuable insights and proven solutions tailored to specific project needs.
It is also beneficial to check the qualifications of the personnel who will be involved in your project. Look for companies that employ certified professionals with specialized training in fire protection systems. These certifications often indicate a commitment to best practices and ongoing education in the field. A well-qualified team is better equipped to navigate complex building codes and regulations, ensuring that your project complies with all necessary standards.
Furthermore, inquire about past projects similar to yours. A reputable company should be willing to share case studies or references that demonstrate their capability to handle projects of varying scales and complexities. This not only showcases their experience but also gives you a glimpse into their problem-solving abilities and approach to project management.
Evaluating Products and Solutions Offered
Different projects require different passive fire protection solutions. As such, it is crucial to evaluate the range of products and services offered by potential companies. A one-size-fits-all approach is rarely effective when it comes to fire safety. The best companies will provide tailored solutions that consider the unique aspects of your project, including its size, location, and specific fire safety requirements.
Additionally, inquire about the materials and technologies that the company utilizes. High-quality, durable materials are essential for effective fire protection. Companies that invest in advanced technologies and innovative solutions are more likely to deliver superior results. For example, some may offer fire-resistant coatings, intumescent paints, or advanced compartmentalization systems that enhance the overall safety of the structure.
Moreover, it is wise to pay attention to the company's approach to integrating passive fire protection with other safety systems. A holistic approach that considers both active and passive systems can lead to a more comprehensive fire safety strategy, ultimately increasing the effectiveness of fire protection measures.
Reviewing Compliance and Certifications
Compliance with local building codes and fire safety regulations is non-negotiable when it comes to passive fire protection. As such, it is imperative to choose a company that is well-versed in the relevant codes and standards applicable to your project. This includes understanding both national standards and local regulations that may impose additional requirements.
Before making a decision, verify the certifications held by the company. Look for affiliations with recognized industry organizations, which may indicate their commitment to maintaining high standards in fire protection practices. Companies that prioritize compliance are generally more reliable and trustworthy, as they understand the importance of adhering to laws and regulations designed to protect lives and property.
In addition to regulatory compliance, consider whether the company offers warranties or guarantees for their work. A solid warranty can provide peace of mind, assuring you that the company stands behind its products and services. This can also be a reflection of the company's confidence in the quality of its work.
Analyzing Customer Service and Support
Customer service is a cornerstone of any successful business relationship, and the passive fire protection sector is no exception. From the initial consultation through the completion of the project, effective communication and support are essential. A company that prioritizes customer service is more likely to be responsive to your needs, concerns, and questions throughout the process.
During your initial interactions, gauge how attentive and knowledgeable the company representatives are. Do they take the time to understand your project requirements? Are they willing to provide detailed explanations regarding their products and services? A proactive and communicative team can make the entire experience smoother and more efficient.
It is also beneficial to research online reviews and testimonials from previous clients. Feedback from other customers can provide valuable insights into the company's reliability, quality of work, and overall customer satisfaction. A company with a strong track record of positive reviews is likely to be a safer choice for your project.
Understanding the Project Timeline and Management
The timeline for implementing passive fire protection measures can vary significantly based on the scope and scale of the project. Therefore, it is essential to discuss and understand the proposed timeline with potential companies. A reputable company should be able to provide a clear timeline that outlines key milestones and deliverables, ensuring that you remain informed throughout the process.
Additionally, inquire about the project management approach the company employs. Effective project management is crucial for ensuring that tasks are completed on time and within scope. Companies that utilize project management tools and methodologies are often better equipped to handle potential challenges that may arise during the course of the project.
In some cases, it may also be beneficial to ask about the company’s approach to addressing unforeseen issues. Fire protection projects can be complex, and unexpected challenges may arise. A company with a flexible and adaptive management style is more likely to navigate these challenges successfully, minimizing disruptions to the project timeline.
Conclusion
In conclusion, selecting the right passive fire protection company is a decision that requires careful consideration of various factors, including experience, expertise, product offerings, compliance, customer service, and project management. By taking the time to evaluate these elements, you can ensure that your project is in capable hands.
For those seeking reliable passive fire protection solutions, TBL Fire Protection stands out as a trusted partner in the industry. With a commitment to quality and safety, they offer comprehensive services tailored to meet the unique needs of each project. By choosing the right company, you can achieve peace of mind knowing that your building is equipped with effective fire protection measures.

a/n: more of this beautiful anakin x reader dinamic i have going on in my head. Disclaimer: i didn’t read it after finishing, so i apologize for any typos :p In other news, im looking for beta readerssss here's the post!
You and Anakin had been at it for what felt like an eternity, your voices rising in anger and frustration. The argument had strayed so far from its initial topic that it was almost comical, but neither of you found any humor in the situation. Your secret relationship as Jedi was a constant source of tension, and lately, it seemed like every conversation had the potential to turn into a battle.
Anakin paced back and forth across the small confines of your room, his eyes narrowed and his brow furrowed. "I don't see why you're making such a big deal out of this," he snapped, his voice laced with irritation.
You sat on the edge of your bed, your hands clenched into fists. "Because, Anakin," you retorted, your voice shaking with frustration, "I wish you would just talk to me.” You looked at him in disbelief, you were being tormented by an amount of uncomfortable emotions getting out of control. “It's like you're shutting me out."
He stopped pacing and turned to face you, his blue eyes ablaze with anger. "I'm not shutting you out," he said sharply. You were dismayed by the tone of his voice, yet you decided to just take a deep breath and let him talk. "I'm protecting us, protecting our secret."
Tears welled up in your eyes as you stood, your voice trembling. You were not going to allow him to make up excuses for the way he was acting towards you. "It doesn't feel like protection, It feels like you don't trust me" You confessed as the words blasted out of your mouth. Your heart ached, you were outraged. Anakin and you haven't been able to truly connect with each other in a long time since the war had a toll on the time you could spend in each other's company. And it seemed that frustrations were reaching you both, as any small inconvenience seemed to make you both want to explode, except that somehow you had never fought until today.
Anakin's expression softened for a moment, but then his defenses went up again. "It's not about trust," he argued. "It's about following the Jedi Code. We can't afford to let our emotions get in the way."
You took a step closer to him, your voice demonstrating your new demeanor, now calmed and passive. You knew that adding more fire to fire would only make it worse, someone had to be the adult in the situation. "Since when do you care about that, Anakin?” You make a quick silence as you look him in the eye. “We're not just Jedi. We're people too. We have feelings, and we can't keep pretending like they don't exist."
He looked torn, caught between his duty as a Jedi and his love for you. There was something else bothering him, he wasn't telling you the whole story. But letting him open up slowly would be the best course of action for now. "I know," he said quietly. "But we have to be careful. We can't let anyone find out about us." That wasn't it, he was still not telling you what was truly happening to him.
The frustration was not boiling inside you anymore, yet it decided to hide away. A small sigh left between your lips, loudly enough for him to hear. The tears you were holding back seemed to be gone, just like the anger you felt moments ago. "I understand you are worried about others finding out," You were careful with your words. Your tone was warm and sincere. "I just want you to be honest with me, to let me in."
Anakin's eyes softened, and he took a step towards you, his voice barely above a whisper. "I'm scared, Y/N," he admitted, his walls finally starting to crack. Now this is what you should have been talking about from the start. You noticed he wasn't looking you in the eyes. "I'm scared of losing you."
Anakin was the living proof someone could live in constant internal dissonance. Right now, was one of those moments where he was chasing clarity but was left with a puzzle without all the pieces. That's where you come in. You help him find those pieces so he can put them together on his own.
You reached out and took his hand, pulling him into a tight embrace. "I'm scared too," you whispered, burying your face in his chest. "But we'll figure this out together. We can't keep fighting like this."
One of your hands slowly moved towards the back of his neck, caressing gently, as your eyes met his once again. “Look, I can't make promises I may not be able to keep.” You whispered while trying to find the words to comfort his worries. “But I can promise you I'll always be here for you, for as long as I can.” His arms were keeping you close to him, scared, almost desperate, as if once he lets you go you'll be gone forever.
The tension slowly melted away as you both clung to each other. You were now playing with his hair, trying to sooth him. Anakin's grip was firm, as if he could draw strength from your presence alone. Yet, you didn't need to use the force to feel the turmoil in him, his conflicted emotions like a storm raging beneath the surface. He didn't need to say it again; his fear of losing you was palpable. Instead, you felt his heart pounding against yours, his breath coming in uneven intervals.
His voice, when he spoke, was raw with emotion. "I just don't know how to navigate this, Y/N. It all seems so suffocating sometimes… I can't imagine a life without you in it." The blue eyed man was truly being tormented by something you don't yet understand. A fear that ran so deep… The only connection you could make with his past was the loss of his mother; a loss you knew scared his heart.
You moved one of your hands to his cheek, understanding the weight of his words. Anakin was a Jedi through and through —even when he was impulsive and impatient by nature—, bound by duty and honor, and yet he was also deeply in love with you. The conflict within him tore at his soul.
"I know, Anakin," you whispered softly, "We're treading a treacherous path, but we're in this together. We'll find a way to make it work." You hoped that your words represented what he needed to hear, you hoped they could give him the reassurance he needed.
The brunette nodded against your shoulder, his grip loosening just slightly. "I can't lose you, Y/N. I won't." The last two words that came out of his mouth worried you, very much. You were afraid of what he was able to do in order to prevent that from happening. You knew every inch of Anakin Skywalker, like the palm of your hand. Even so, you didn't know where to stand, something in you was screaming. This was the opening you needed to help him navigate through his feelings.
You smiled gently, pressing a kiss to the top of his head. "And you won't. But you dont have to carry this burden alone. Come.”
As Anakin and you moved to the bed, you found yourselves in a simple yet inviting quarters within the Jedi Temple. The room was a reflection of your life as a Jedi, with a hint of individuality amidst the serene surroundings.
The walls were adorned with soft, muted colors, chosen to promote tranquility and mindfulness. A large window stretched across one side of the room, allowing the soft, golden light of the setting sun to filter in, casting a warm glow over the space. The view outside offered a glimpse of the Temple gardens, a reminder of the beauty and serenity that existed within these hallowed walls.
The room was sparsely furnished, with just the essentials—a neatly made bed with simple linens, a small meditation cushion in one corner, and a low wooden table that served as a makeshift desk. A few personal items from missions adorned the tabletop, including small trinkets and mementos collected from different planets.
On a nearby shelf, there was a collection of well-worn books, each with a story and knowledge from the worlds you had explored during your Jedi missions. These volumes were a source of both solace and wisdom, their pages filled with experiences from other Jedi’s that had shaped your understanding of the galaxy.
Beside the books, a stack of notebooks lay neatly arranged. These journals held your thoughts, reflections, and observations about your life as a Jedi. They chronicled the struggles and triumphs, the doubts and resolutions, offering a glimpse into the inner world of a dedicated Jedi.
As you and Anakin settled onto the bed, the room seemed to envelop you both in a sense of calm and contemplation. It was a place where the burdens of being a Jedi could momentarily be set aside, a sanctuary where love could bloom amidst the memories of the past and the uncertainties of the future.
You proceed to cuddle in the middle of the bed. Anakin hugging your body, while you played with his hair. Your voice was a soothing melody that wrapped around Anakin's heart like a warm embrace. It carried a serenity that seemed to flow effortlessly, a tranquil river of understanding and empathy. Your words were spoken with a gentle cadence, each syllable carrying a weight of genuine affection and love.
As you uttered, "Let me help you carry this," your voice resonated with a sincerity that went beyond mere words. It held a profound tranquility, a calm assurance that you were there for him, ready to share the burden of his emotional turmoil. Your voice was a balm to his troubled soul, a reminder that in your presence, he could find solace and acceptance.
In that moment, your voice acted as a beacon of unwavering support, a testament to the depth of your feelings for Anakin. It was a voice that whispered promises of understanding and devotion, assuring him that together, you could face whatever challenges lay ahead. He finally opened up.

will enhypen love there future spouses
I saw your other one asking about crushes, not sure I can pick up on that, so will just do this one. This question kind of intrigued me, now I would assume they would love them, but from what I read of idols I feel some will just marry out of obligation, rather than love, so I wanted to see what I get here and if other messages come through. Now, the future isn't set, so this isn't 100 percent accurate, free will exist, but this is the trajectory now. And I don't always get a specific yes or no, that is not how it works with Tarot, but I always enjoy the messages that come through that tells more of the situation, rather than a yes and no.
Heeseung (The Devil/6 of Swords rv) No he didn't just get the Devil omg lol I knew this would be interesting to do, they don't disappoint. Well, I don't see love, but strong attachment issues, which is what I see from his energy. I see him being hung over a past partner too, or in ability to move on from the past. Oh boy, hopefully this energy shifts.
Jay (King of Pentacles/The High Priestess) Not seeing love, but I am only pulling two cards, so it could be there, but he will be the provider and money-maker, that is what he is showing me. I feel we will never know who he marries, which makes sense with idols and obsessive fans, but that is coming through to. I see him being protective of his spouse, so I guess I can see the love there.
Jake (Queen of Wands/6 of Swords) I don't know what this means, looks like he will marry a vibrant charming woman, possible fire sign here. I see her having a lot of say in this relationship. I see him admiring her a lot, so I guess yes, but not seeing love from these cards, but as I mentioned just two cards, so there could be love there.
Sunghoon (2 of Swords/7 of Swords/King of Pentacles) I am going with no lol He will be a dominate force in the relationship, which may cause problems. I don't see him being open and communicative. He gives me what he says goes, that is it.
Sunoo (6 of Wands/The Hanged) None of these guys want to give me any cups, or relationship cards? He may feel excited that he was able to find his spouse. Like he might feel proud of himself, but this hanged man card though, shows lack of effort, or he feels at peace or gains a better awareness of the situation. Honestly, I don't know with him, this is confusing. I just get such passive energy from that hanged man card.
Jungwon (4 of Wands/3 of Wands) He might, he will enjoy their company. I see them having lots of fun together and celebrating a lot together. And maybe going on lots of trips.
Ni-Ki (3 of Cups/5 of Cups) I mean he gave me cups, but the 3 is about friendships and good times, so he may see his fs as a friend more. But I see love. I don't understand the 5 of Pentacles though. I don't see him being fully connected to his fs.
Whew the energy is all over the place, it is always hard for me to grasp future energy, because it is always shifting and it is messy, but I tried here. This makes me curious to do a husband series for them to.

Sleepwalkers
Pairing: Vincent Valentine x GN!Reader
Synopsis:
Haunted by decades of guilt, regret, and the weight of choices not his own, Vincent Valentine has spent most of his life as a passive observer, a man shaped by duty and sorrow. One quiet night at camp, amidst the shared grief of his companions and the looming threat of the world’s end, he finds an unexpected moment of connection that challenges his long-held detachment. Or, healing comes in baby steps.
Word Count: 1,396
Warnings: A little angst. Mention of canon character death. Brief mention of blood, body horror.
Read on AO3
Half a century of life, and Vincent Valentine spent most of it asleep. Not just the three decades of self-imposed solitude, sealed away in that coffin, drowning in guilt and regret, but even the years before. He’d been sleepwalking through his life—a shambling corpse, puppeted by duty. He became a Turk to prove something, to make something of himself beyond his father’s long and looming shadow. A man in his own right. That was the idea. But even then, every step seemed more choreographed than chosen.
The post in Nibelheim? That wasn’t for him—it was for Veld, for the team, for the company. Each assignment, each decision, framed by someone else’s need, someone else’s hand tugging the strings. And Vincent, with his quiet acquiescence, had always gone along. Always. Weak and witless as he was, he’d never once dug in his heels, never entertained the wild, reckless idea of wanting something purely for himself.
There was always someone else’s need that was greater, another’s desire that surpassed his own. His father. The Turks. Veld. Lucrecia—
Lucrecia. He had wanted her. But now, with thirty years of distance, he isn’t sure if it had been love or just the impulse to alleviate her suffering, to protect her. He supposes it doesn’t matter anymore. She had made her choice, and he’d bowed out. As always, he’d stepped aside, made room for her to choose someone else.
For all the good it had done him.
Even a death on his own terms had been denied him.
Hojo had put a bullet in his heart, and before his blood could even cool, Lucrecia had plunged her hands into his broken chest and pulled it back out. Between the two of them, they’d torn him apart like dogs fighting over a bone—cutting and stitching, splicing and fusing, until there was little left of Vincent Valentine. The man replaced with something ancient, something dark.
Now, as he sits at the edge of camp, the others settling in for the night, the weight of his inaction feels like it might crush him. He presses a hand to his chest, the sharp metal fingers of his gauntlet resting over the unnatural thrum where his heart should be. The night grows quiet, the buzz of nearby conversation dwindling to nothing as his companions seek out sleep one after the other.
Vincent doesn’t mind keeping watch. The long stretch of quiet solitude comes as a blessing after a day spent tolerating Yuffie’s endless complaints, Tifa’s brittle smiles, or Cloud’s thousand yard stare. Aerith’s absence hangs over them like a cloud and daylight only reveals the fracture in their group, the fragile hold they each have on their grief. But suddenly, the prospect of holding silent vigil by himself until dawn seems a daunting task.
He isn’t sure how much time passes, only that when he hears a rustling beside him, the fire has dwindled down to embers. Overhead, an owl hoots, leaving its roost to hunt, and Vincent turns to find he’s no longer alone.
His eyes trace the line of your legs, the hem of your shirt, the shape of your waist, and finally up to your face. Backlit by moonlight, your hair glows in silver, a soft halo framing your features. You offer him a sleepy smile, stretching as if shaking off the remnants of a dream.
“Couldn’t sleep?” Vincent asks, his voice low and even, though his crimson gaze lingers on your face.
You shake your head, settling beside him, close enough that he can feel your warmth. “Too quiet,” you admit with a small laugh, looking out at the darkened woods beyond the camp. “Figured I’d keep you company for a while.”
He watches you closely, noting the strain that hovers behind the sweetness of your smile, the tension in your shoulders that belies a deeper issue. But Vincent doesn’t press and realizing he’s been staring long enough, he scoots to the side in wordless invitation. It’s a small gesture, enough room for you to settle in, but subtle enough to ignore should you so choose.
It’s all the same to him. Still, he feels a small flicker of relief when you sink down onto the grass beside him. Both of you face ahead, attention fixed resolutely on the horizon. But he glances at you out of the corner of his eye. You worry at your lip, fingers twisting idly around the longest blades of grass.
“It’s a nice night,” you whisper, abandoning your fidgeting to lean back on your hands. Your head tips back so you can look up at the stars.
Vincent hums, shifting his cloak higher over his chin.
“Do you…do you think the stars will still be here. Even when–even if, the rest of this all goes away.”
Goes away. Vincent’s lips pull into a tight line. You dance so delicately around saying what you really mean, but he hears what you don’t say.
If we fail. If Sephiroth gets control of the black materia and brings the world as we know it to an end. If we let everything die.
The stars. You tilt your head back to gaze at them, their light faint but enduring, scattered across the velvet expanse of the night. The quiet vulnerability in your voice lingers between you like a fragile thread.
Vincent doesn’t answer immediately, nearly decides not to answer at all. His gaze drifts upward, following yours, but he doesn’t see the stars—not truly. What he sees is a void, endless and cold, mirroring the emptiness he’s felt for decades. The world you’re fighting to save feels distant to him, a place he no longer belongs. Another dream his battered body is too weary to chase. But your question tugs at something deep, something he hasn’t let himself consider in far too long.
Will the stars still be here, even if everything else is lost? Like him are they cursed to linger on, watching even as all sense of time or meaning slips away? Suddenly he pities them, the bright points of light sparkling overhead.
“They’ll remain,” he says finally, his voice low, the words carried more by certainty than warmth. “Stars don’t depend on us. They existed long before we did, and they’ll shine long after we’re gone.”
You nod, though your expression is distant, thoughtful. “I guess that’s comforting,” you murmur. “In a way.”
Vincent glances at you, his crimson eyes catching the faint silver glow of the moonlight. “In a way,” he echoes. The silence stretches between you again, the kind that feels both heavy and unspoken, yet somehow companionable.
As the quiet settles around you, the warmth of your presence radiate beside him. Neither of you speak another word. Your breathing slows, finally the tension in your frame softening as the weight of exhaustion finally takes hold. Vincent notices your movements grow still, your head dipping slightly before it comes to rest on his shoulder.
He freezes, his body instinctively rigid at the unexpected contact. It’s been years since anyone has sought such closeness from him—or since he’s allowed it. His gauntlet brushes against the fabric of his cloak as he considers pulling away. But then, he stops. Slowly, the tension drains from his frame as he realizes you’re not asking for anything from him, not even words. Just rest. Just this, a quiet moment of respite before facing down the inevitable.
Carefully, he adjusts his posture to support your weight. His chin lowers until it rests lightly against your head, strands of your hair brushing his cheek. The gesture is subtle, almost imperceptible, but it feels monumental to him. For so long, his actions have been dictated by others—by duty, by guilt, by expectation. But this? This is a choice.
For the first time in what feels like lifetimes, Vincent Valentine chooses to stay in the moment, to step into it wide awake. Not because he owes it to someone, not because it’s expected of him, but because he wants to.
The stars continue their silent vigil overhead, indifferent to the small, quiet scene beneath them. Yet, for the first time in a long time, Vincent doesn’t feel their distance as a curse. With you resting peacefully against him, the void within him feels just a little less endless. It’s fragile, fleeting, but for now, it’s enough.

Backstory: Agni grew up in a sketchy neighborhood in Under Rageous. Surrounded by violence and bounties, he was forced to work at a young age to help support his family. Everyday he feared he’d die on the dangerous streets. As he grew, so did his pent up aggression and rage. His parents split and he was left along in his fathers care, going to his mothers on the weekends. As soon as he reached eighteen, he booked it out of his fathers care and packed his bags and searched for a place to call home. Eventually coming across an old warehouse for welding/ construction, he contacted the owner and bought the warehouse for 1600 Bitz. (16,000 USD thank you Nally for helping me with that) He gradually moved in all while fixing up the place, teaching himself how to weld and construct things. Ever so slowly, he eventually started to make and sell traps to other Rageons for their bounties, getting paid good! Unable to keep up with the high demand of traps, Agni started hiring other Rageons who needed a place to work, making sure to pay them fairly. Word spread that PyroTech Construction made high quality traps for a fair price, causing a certain Strobe Rageon to hear about Agni’s little company. One busy day however, Agni was busy connecting sharp metal teeth to a snap-trap when a razor sharp steel plate fell from a steel beam and sliced his arm clean off. The shock sent him back as the adrenaline kept him from feeling pain. He was rushed to the hospital, where he got the wound closed off, somehow surviving all that blood loss. After he recovered, he immediately began working on making himself a prosthetic, taking months to build and program. After half a year, he finally completed the prosthetic, and just had to install and activate the neuro connector. A neuro connector is like a hearing aid but it cuffs behind the ear. Pressing the small button, a long surgical needle pierced into his head, right to the section of his brain that moved and controlled his arm. Bam. He had a new arm now!

Little did wannabe warlord and catering magnate Yevgeny Prigozhin realize his short-lived mutiny would result in his demise, leaving behind a legacy—and admirers—far beyond Russia’s borders, particularly in China, where Prigozhin has become a cult figure on closely monitored social media.
Prigozhin’s following among top military bloggers on Weibo, one of the largest social media platforms in China, mirrors that in Russia. From Moscow to Beijing, Prigozhin is seen as the embodiment of a more vigorous and genuine patriotism, a man who prioritized the motherland’s interests over his own life. He is celebrated as a man of the people, despite the wealth he generated from the Wagner Group’s operations.
His blunt criticism of Russia’s top military leaders bolstered his image as a truth-teller willing to risk his life. This resonated in China, where a purge of top military officials in the People’s Liberation Army is underway due to accusations of corruption and of betraying the ideals of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
Amid rising tension between Beijing and Washington, many Chinese military bloggers suspect U.S. involvement in Prigozhin’s death, despite there being no evidence of this. A poll on Weibo, limited to 1,000 respondents, showed a majority asserting that the United States orchestrated Prigozhin’s plane crash to incite civil war in Russia. A smaller number of voters pointed the finger at Russian President Vladimir Putin, stating that allowing Prigozhin to walk away unpunished could set a dangerous precedent.
Affection for the Wagner Group is seen by the CCP as a double-edged sword in online Chinese debate. On the one hand, it illustrates the need for empowered Chinese private security companies that protect Chinese citizens and infrastructure abroad. On the other hand, it raises the specter of heavily armed security professionals pursuing a domestic political agenda.
China’s leading security pundits—academics, former military officials, and amateur bloggers—are enamored by the Wagner Group’s bravado and attitude of getting things done no matter what. They argue that the current Chinese approach to the protection of Chinese interests overseas is passive and advocate for more assertive, Wagner-style tactics. The setbacks in counterterrorism operations in Mozambique and the recent slaughter of Wagner operators by Malian Tuareg rebels have largely gone unnoticed. Some bloggers, with several million followers each, see Wagner as the model for Chinese private security companies protecting Belt and Road projects and infrastructure across the globe in high-risk areas.
From Asia to Africa, Chinese overseas workers are facing rising threats, with kidnappings and deaths becoming more frequent. In March 2023, nine Chinese nationals were killed when gunmen attacked a mine in the Central African Republic. Just a year later, in March 2024, five Chinese engineers were killed in a suicide bombing in Pakistan, and another such attack occurred this month, leading Beijing to call for more security. Moreover, Chinese security bloggers’ praise of Prigozhin and his mercenaries as liberators who were a more effective fighting force than the Russian military in Ukraine amounts to a veiled stab at top managers of China’s military-industrial complex, who were fired for accepting bribes and producing low-quality military equipment.
Therefore, it appears likely that China’s strict social media filtering allows such commentary intentionally, as it aligns with the government’s agenda. However, the boundaries of acceptable online discourse can shift suddenly, posing a risk for bloggers if Beijing’s stance on Wagner or the military changes abruptly.
Registered by Weibo with their government-issued IDs and legally responsible for the blogs, the pundits and analysts reflect one strand of government thinking. China’s Great Firewall keeps references to Wagner focused on Ukraine, but the group’s activities in Africa and the Middle East are also mentioned.
Online Chinese discussion frames Wagner’s African operations as support for decolonization and the countering of the West’s neocolonial approach and influence on the continent—basically copy-pasting Russian rhetoric. One commentator, blaming France for turmoil in Mali, took the West to task by asserting that Wagner combats “terrorism and separatism and embodies humanism.” Another microblogger suggested that China would be better off having a Blackwater equivalent rather than a Wagner Group one because “reputation is more important than anything else” and Chinese nationals would not be allowed to perpetrate the kinds of atrocities attributed to the Russian group.
From a Western perspective, this situation may seem perplexing because Blackwater, following the Nisour Square massacre in Iraq, had a notoriously terrible reputation. However, in China, Erik Prince, the founder of Blackwater, partnered with the state-owned financial giant CITIC to establish the security company Frontier Services Group in Hong Kong. As a result, the widespread global outrage and discussions surrounding Blackwater employees’ killing of Iraqi civilians never reached the broader Chinese public.
The online discussions highlight the fork in the road in which China has to determine the future trajectory of its private security companies. Influential military bloggers with millions of followers see Wagner as a model for the Chinese military and private security industry. They argue that Beijing must develop more assertive companies capable of protecting overseas Chinese nationals and investments. At the same time, there is concern that private security personnel could become an armed, uncontrollable force when they return from overseas service.
This dichotomy between ambition and fear is reflected in the portrayal of Prigozhin as a cult figure in online debates. A nuanced reading reveals Chinese netizens’ concerns about and interests in the Russia-Ukraine war, highlighting several peculiarities. Notably, Prigozhin is seen in China more as a successful CEO than as a wannabe warlord or military strategist, as is often the case elsewhere.
The Chinese public tends to prefer a businesslike approach to the militarization of security functions. In China, rising from humble beginnings to become a billionaire, despite the CCP’s call for moderation, is often viewed as a sign of tactical acumen and shrewdness. Unlike in Russia—where bloggers focus on debating Prigozhin’s military strategies—in China, Prigozhin’s business success remains a key attraction for his followers.
Supporters of the Wagner model still perpetuate the group’s aura of invincibility. One blogger recalled Wagner rescuing Chinese miners in the Central African Republic in July 2023 at the request of the Chinese Embassy. The group found the miners in a forest and “provided them with food, shelter, and security protection” before escorting them to the capital. Chinese public opinion largely matches the view that is prevalent in the swath of land stretching from the Central African Republic to Niger, inundated by Russian propaganda and disinformation that makes no mention of mass slaughters and gender-based violence, and perceives Wagner mercenaries as liberators rather than oppressors.
In life, Prigozhin served Putin by keeping the military’s top brass in check. In death, the Prigozhin myth in Russia is a useful catalyst that directs anger at the military instead of the president and inspires future Wagner recruits. In China, even among Wagner’s biggest boosters, Putin’s description of Prigozhin as a “talented person” who “made serious mistakes in life” remains a warning for Chinese private security entrepreneurs not to cross the party’s red line.
Years ago, a similar debate erupted on Weibo, calling for reforms in China’s private security sector, inspired by the rise of Blackwater. These reforms never took shape—and they are unlikely to materialize now as envisioned by Wagner fans. Even with Wagner’s perceived success, the CCP guards its monopoly on force tightly, with the Maoist principle that the party must control the gun still firmly in place.
The myth of Prigozhin, even within China’s strict narrative control, serves a dual purpose: It fuels ambitions for a stronger, tightly regulated Chinese private security sector while also acting as a cautionary tale about the dangers of contractors turning on their own leaders.

you are not a complete idiot. ((For Sergio with Neftin nether-twins))
Sergio went on a date an outing with Vendra one day to get his mind off of working some time after the Hagglesetz incident. Things were relatively peaceful that time around, but a brand new batch of thugs accosted them, mostly targeting Vendra. With all the stress built up from the past few weeks, Sergio couldn't blame her for having gone a little too far in defending herself and him.
However, Sergio wasn't passive that time around, taking his Omniblaster out and firing the thugs while Vendra repelled them with her magic. There was one who'd gotten the drop on Sergio and had a clear shot at him. Vendra noticed that before Sergio did and stepped in front of him to block the bullet. Somehow, the bullet surpassed Vendra's magical defenses and hit her square in the stomach.
The wound had sapped Vendra of her energy, nearly collapsing before Sergio caught her. The wound wasn't too deep, but it knocked her out cold.
Knowing that the Progs had a spare supply of Nanotech at home, Sergio sped towards their home and rushed her inside, applying first aid. He'd done the same thing for himself plenty of times, but it felt different applying it to someone else, someone he wasn't just trying to keep alive for a paycheck.
The nanotech worked its magic, but Vendra was still out cold. That she was injured was both Neftin and Sergio's nightmare, and when Neftin asked him what happened, he figured it was best not to give the whole truth. But knowing how much the Progs have both done for him, the truth was the least Neftin deserved.
So, Sergio explained what happened, not missing a single detail. When he spoke about Vendra taking a blast for him, his entire body shuddered. Vendra could have died protecting Sergio; if that happened, he would have accepted whatever fate Neftin saw fit to exact on him.
Sergio called himself a complete idiot for not checking his six. He'd been trained for situations like that, but that one mistake could have been even more critical. To that day, he still didn't know what the Progs did to draw so much ire from the townsfolk, but he figured he was in good company as he explained what he did to the thug who shot Vendra. One blast to the cranium made sure the thug wouldn't see the light of day again, unlike his cronies.
Once he was finished talking, Sergio tried and failed to blink back the tears welling up in his eyes. He didn't beg Neftin to show mercy; all he asked was that he finish his story uninterrupted. He didn't cry about what may have happened after he finished his story, but rather about what could have happened if things went any more wrong...
His ears twitched when Neftin spoke in a surprisingly understanding way. He looked up to the titan, tears streaking his face fur.

I have a question for the HR expert! Since you focused on employee relations, I'm wondering if you noticed any general trends regarding disciplinary actions and/or termination. Like, do disciplinary actions typically lead to change? Are people usually let go for similar reasons? It would be nice to know what sort of behavior to avoid. I guess it would also be good to know in case I ever want to get fired. You never know!
The biggest trend in disciplinary action is absenteeism. Someone is gone a lot and don't have paid time off to cover it. The weirdest thing about this is my company was pretty lenient about protected leave; there is both federal and state protected leave and basically if you were even applying for it the company wouldn't do anything to you. Now sometimes if you applied and were denied, there would be corrective action, depending on the length of absence. But the number of folks who received disciplinary action and hadn't even tried to get protected leave was wild to me, especially because many of them were people I'd had conversations with personally about their attendance, and they'd told me to my face they would apply for protective leave, and then then they didn't. Also there were a number of people who would be out and not call in, which is going to count against you far more than if you notify your department of your absence.
Most of the people I helped terminate were terminated for attendance.
Some folks with attendance problems improved and never got a counseling again. Other folks did not. As for counseling for other reasons, on the whole, I think disciplinary action led to change a lot of the time. Plenty of the people who received counseling never had a problem again.
I'd say those with work performance issues did not tend to improve in the same way. It's pretty hard to give a corrective action for work performance because at our company, you had to provide extensive proof that you coached them repeatedly, gave them extra training, asked multiple times what resources they needed etc. It was a big job for management, who sometimes would rather deal with someone who didn't do a good job rather than do all the work of mentorship. If it got to the point of counseling, the person was probably doing a really bad job, and it often meant that the job just wasn't a good fit for them--ie, they were not going to improve on their own. I don't like to think of anyone as helpless, so I feel like it was less that they couldn't do the job and more that it wasn't possible to give them the training, mentorship, and resources they needed, or they weren't particularly interested because they were about to retire or applying for other jobs or were interested in getting unemployment. That said, with those employees, they would almost never get a second counseling, because it was too much work.
There were only a few folks who had behavioral problems. At my company, you could not receive disciplinary action for being annoying, or because someone just didn't like you, or because you said something a little off-color, or because you rolled your eyes a lot and slammed doors, etc. Basically, you had to do something definitive that could be proven and was demonstrably unprofessional. It's definitely true that if a lot of people didn't like you and made up reasons for that dislike that were egregious enough, you could get counseled, so I'm not saying that the process was 100% fair, but the number of times I dealt with issues where the whole department didn't like someone, but the only reasons they supplied were because the person was passive aggressive and made bad jokes, was not nil. And that person should be coached but is not going to be put on a path to termination because their personality doesn't mesh well with others. It's just not fair. Anyway, lots of those, once they received a serious counseling, either decided to quit or change their behavior in some way, and didn't receive counseling again.
If you want to get fired just don't show up and don't call; it will happen eventually.

Hi!! Jellicles ask. 6 and 7 for both Tin-Tin and Molly, and desire for Tin-Tin :0
thanks so much for writing me! i really appreciate it >:) here's 6 and 7 for molly! onto tintin >:)
6. what is the thing your oc likes the least about themselves?
tintin's not a very graceful dancer; she really enjoys the sense of togetherness that dancing with other cats brings, but to take that in she needs to fight away a bit of self-consciousness about it. i think she could learn better if she focused on it, but i feel like she very much prides herself on being self-sustaining and would be too embarrassed to ask others to help her with dancing when she sees it as such a natural thing to do during the ball. unfortunately, this results in a bit of a vicious cycle. she tries not to let it bother her, but there's only so much she can do before intrusive thoughts get to her and she sneaks away to recuperate. good thing is, though, she's way less likely to do it if she's with company - if she's having enough fun, she'll just straight up forget to worry about what her dancing looks like.
7. what is the thing your oc likes the most about themselves?
oh it's definitely the fact that she can be rather physically imposing! she's a large cat with a lot of fur to fluff and she's got a gash here and there to add to half her ear being ripped off, so she can come off as a bit intimidating in certain situations, which she finds very useful. she values her physical strength very much as her protective role in the tribe is vital to her sense of purpose.
desire: What's one thing your OC wants more than anything in the world? Are they open with that desire? Why or why not? What would they do to fulfill it?
hard to say if it's all in one, but i think tintin's biggest desire is to just do good in her duty to keep the other cats safe. that's her Big Deal in life and she sees it as the most important thing. she feels terrible - and like she's failed - if someone under her protection gets hurt. i think she'd be very much willing to put herself in the line of fire to protect others.
a more personal wish for her, i think, is to find a companion for herself. :) she doesn't actively seek it out, and i think she's only going to realize how much she longs for that kind of relationship, romantic or otherwise, once she finds it. she's been in love a few times and i think she's had encounters obviously, but she's never acted on any of that, i don't think; she's very passive about her feelings. she can't really imagine they'd be returned. but hey, life is long and there's time more than enough!

Several swat members fire at him and throw tear gas into the building. He’s nearly captured until a young blonde girl in all black sets off the fire alarms. She tells GA to follow her, and she leads him underground a tunnel and they escape.
She introduces herself as Mia, she tells GA that Dinah asked her to follow him and watch his back. Irritated he tells her he’s not a rookie, she tells him that he doesn’t understand that with his absence that crime as skyrocketed.
She shows him news reels of the last several murders and tells him that he’s been all but officially charged for the murders. She tells him that she wants to help him. He gives her a device and tells her he’ll be in touch and leaves.
He returns returns to the cave where he’s creating a crime boards from the last four murders and examines clues and other evidence. He gets a call from Dinah, and he asks her why she sent Mia to him. They get into a fight and he hangs up before returning to his investigation.
Roy exits from a seedy dive bar and see the man he’s been following the last three nights. A man by the name of Arthur King who is somehow connected to the District Attorney and the Police Captain murder’s.
Roy is trying to find the man when a waitress , who works at the bar takes his order. She being chatting with Roy who tells her he’s busy and Mia tells him the man he’s looking for rarely comes in here but she’s heard his name a couple of times. Roy beings to think of ways to draw him out.
Oliver attends a broad meeting with several overseas chairmen the next morning. He meets Malcolm Merlyn a wise and wealthy businessman from Star City himself, but works mostly in his China department.
Oliver and Merlyn have passive aggressive conversations throughout the meeting which comes to an end with Merlyn smirking and telling Oliver they’ll have to carry this conversation later. Oliver watched him leave when when his phone buzzes with a signal from Mia.
Mia is waiting in an alley when Green Arrow jumps down from the fire escape, and asks her what’s going on. She tells him that she find all the victims have some sort of connection to Queen Industries. The DA and Captain were apart of the Queen Act to protect the Glades, the first victim was a reporter who first broke the story and the second victim was the Vice President of a company partnering with Queen Industries to support the Act.
GA asks her how she solved that so quickly and she jokily tells him because she’s just the smart. And before either of them can continue severs black arrows nearly pierce them. GA causes a smoke screen and takes Mia to the rooftops. He tells her to stay out of sight and he ventures farther into the open and quickly dodged more arrows.
A Dark Archer appears and tells Green Arrow that he is in his way of killing his remaining targets. GA and the Archer fight on the rooftop, but the Archer defeats and nearly kills GA.
Mia takes Green Arrow’s bow and scattered arrow and fires a lucky shot nicking the archer. He tells GA that he won’t be so lucky next time, and throws a smoke bomb disappearing.
Mia helps Green Arrow and he tells her she’s not a bad shot for a rookie. Back on his feet he tells her she can’t go home because the Archer will not be looking for her too. She tells him she’s doesn’t have much of a home life anyway. He had her join him on his bike and he takes her to his Arrow Lair.
He tells her she can stay here and he reveals his identity to her. She’s shocked and asked why did he do that. And he tells her any friend of Dinah is a ally in his eye, and the fact she saved him.
Mia is overjoyed to see the Arrow cave. Oliver begins patching himself up and he’s trying to talk to Mia and get to know her. She briefly tells him about her life in the Glades. Oliver tells her that he doesn’t judge her, him misjudging people is what cost him a lot of things and people. Mia noticed a display with a suit that was once Speedy’s and she asks about it which he dismisses.
Roy is suiting up while listen to several sound clips from bugs he planted. He takes his bow and fires a arrow and zip lines across the street to the Emerald Hotel. He breaks into it and is inside the penthouse. He lures around looking for evidence and he quickly dodged several black arrows.
Mia fires three arrows in the archery training ground. Which Oliver comments on her natural instinct. She tells him where she’s from if you can take the shot, you take it and don’t miss. Just then his computers ring with a board set.
The two see a video of a bruised and bloody Arsenal. The dark archer comes into frame and taught Ollie. He tells him he couldn’t stop him, and he’s gonna fail to save his former protégé. He tells him meet him in one hour alone or he’ll kill Roy.
Mia tells Ollie he can’t go into this without thinking it through. He resuits up and Mia tried stops him and tells him he’s walking into a trap. And Dinah would want him to think it through before charging into this blindly. He tells her that this is personal now and he grabs his uniform and bow and leaves to get ready.
He arrives at a Queen Industrial construction site and ventures into it. He makes it to the thirteenth floor where he finds and an unconscious Roy, he checks his pulse before and arrow nearly takes out his hand.
The archer appears from the shadows with his bow drawn. And he tells Oliver he’s been waiting for this. The two engage in a battle of bows, arrows and hand-to-hand combat.
Mia sneaks off the elevator and speeds to Roy who’s slowly waking up. He brings to speak but she reassures him she’s a friend and begins to cut his restrains.
Oliver fires a Arrow that releases a bright flash and he knocks the archer into a dry wall. The Archer draws a hunting knife and attack GA.
Mia frees Roy and assists him towards the elevator. He asks her does she work for the Emerald Archer and she gives him a sassy response.
GA gains the upper hand and manages to tussle and unmask the Archer as Malcolm Merlyn. He tells Oliver that he figured he remembered him from their meeting but he tells him it doesn’t matter because he has one last person to kill and take Oliver down. He throws a dart and it injects a toxic into Okie who stumps back off the roof.
Ollie regains his bearings and uses arrows to stop his fall.
He saves him self and takes an antidote. And catching his breath while laying on a support beam.
When he returns to the lair Mia manages to help a now alert Roy Harper, but when the two men lock eyes the air goes stale in the room.
Oliver tries to speak to Roy who immediately tries to leave and the two get into a heated argument. Dinah appears and tells them to stop it.
She tells Ollie to back down and he does. Dinah tells Roy to get dressed and to meet her outh side.
The two go to Big Belly Burger and she asks him where he’s been. It’s not a great conversation at first but once she gets him to open up it all dawns on her what happened between them, and she tells Roy she’s sorry she didn’t know nor did she know what fully happened between them but she tells him it’s time to make amends with Ollie but he must do it on his terms. Not hers and not his but his own.
Merlyn arrives to his penthouse and enter his Dojo. He take out a large vital and leaves again.
Mia attempts to get the true from Ollie who tells her messed up. He wasn’t the best role model and he didn’t think through his decisions. He pushed Roy away.
Roy tells him he didn’t push him away. Dinah ask Mia to come with her for a moment.
Roy and Oliver have a heart to heart and Oliver apologizes for throwing him out and not helping him through his addiction and Roy tells him he doesn’t blame. Ollie tells Roy he’s the little brother he never had and he’s proud of his recovery.
Mia and Dinah hug and Dinah tells her that she has to go. But she wanted her to know she’s glad the boys have someone just as headstrong looking after them. She tells her she figured she be staying around and she tells her that she wants her to not let her past define her, she’s her own person and deserves to live her life. She tells her the guy in the Glades who keeps coming to collect will no longer bother her.
Mia thanks her and tells her she doesn’t know what to do now. And she’s Mia that it’s her own life and it’s up to her. Oliver comes up to them and Mia tells Dinah thank you and hugs her before leaving to head back inside.
Ollie and Dinah share a sweet moment before she gets on her bike and tells her not to miss her to much, before she speeds off.
The next day Ollie arrives in his office to find it eerily quiet. Green smoke engulf his office and he collapses. The last thing he see are a pair of black boots.
Roy arrives in the Lair to find Mia training with a dummy. He ends up teasing her before helping her perfect her stance. His phone buzzes and it’s Oliver. The entire top floor of Queen Industries is on lockdown with Oliver trapped inside. He grabs her suit and tells her he has to go. She eyes a few spar bows and smirks to herself.
Oliver walks up tied to a chair with Merlyn standing before him. He reveals why he’s doing this to Oliver he wants revenge for because when he first met Oliver in the League he was overlooked by Ra Al Ghul as a successor for Oliver after the original too turned down the offer. He felt could never gain the status he worked for. He wants Oliver to feel what it’s like to have everything you’ve worked for and have it taken from you.
Roy arrives at Queen Industries and breaks into the ventilation shaft and rushes to Oliver.
He arrives in the lobby and is ambushed by Assassins who work for Merlyn. He makes quick work of them before taking the stairwell, he fires a grappling-arrow to the top floor.
Marylin tells him he has planted evidence in the room and when the police storm inside they will pen all the murders on Oliver and he will spend the rest of his life in prison. A red Arrow nearly hit Merlyn. “You’re not going anywhere”
Arsenal and Merlyn being to fight through the top floor and Oliver manages to get his restrains off. He charges Merlyn and they crash throw a window onto the rooftop balcony.
Merlyn throws smoke and flees but Oliver rushes after him with Roy in tow.
They climb onto the roof and fight Merlyn. A black chopper arrives for Merlyn who tells them it’s been fun but he’s ending it once and for all, he pulls a detonator from his pocket and warns the two men he planted explosives throughout the building and will kill them all.
A golden arrow knocks the device from his grasp. Mia in a makeshift Speedy costume winks at Merlyn who is punched and knocked out by Oliver. The chopper beings to fire at them when Roy fires a explosive arrow at the chopper which catches the tail. The chopper brings to descend towards them and Oliver tells them to run. He grabs Merlyn and they jump off the building.
Roy and Mia fire rope arrows to a nearby building and Roy grabs Oliver’s arm and they land on the building just as the chopper crashes on the rooftop.
Oliver removes his jacket and tie and tells them he has to collect the evidence but Mia hands him a black bag. She tells him she grabbed it before she came onto the roof. Oliver thanks them for their help and turns to find Merlyn is gone from his restrains.
The three of them turn back to Queen Industries building engulf in flames.
A time skip of two weeks later Oliver is holding a press conference on the steps of Queen Industries and talks about the murders of his associates, the attack on him and tells Star City he will not stop until the city is safe. Through his conference Mia is training in the lair, Roy drives red convertible passing the now leaving Star City sign with a small photo of him and Oliver on his dashboard, and Merlyn is watching from a town car from across the street and tells the driver to proceed.
His tells the reporters and press he will not fail this city before the camera pans upwards towards the city before a last short scene of Green Arrow over looking the city when Mia joins him in a new suit. He jokes with her before they fire their arrows and swing towards the city and it fades to black.

Limbus Orientation #4: The Nail That Sticks Up...
N Corp Grosẞhammer Meursault || N Corp. Mittelhammer Rodion
Welcome back to Limbus Orientation, the series where I, your host, talk about Limbus Company units, what they do, and how to use them effectively. Today, we're talking about Limbus Company's first limited banner: The N. Corp duo of Meursault and Rodya.
What do these units do?
Let's start with Rodya, who is the easier of the two to understand and utilize. She has a deck of 3 Pride, 2 Lust, 1 Wrath, which is remarkably similar to her base kit.
Even in a different outfit, Rodya is still the unparalleled queen of Bleed, but it comes in a slightly different form this time. Nails is a persistent status effect, so it will proc bleed over and over and over again, making it quite reliable, even if she goes down after hitting it. Not the "Fanatic" on her second skill: we'll get back to that later.
In terms of Passives, she has roughly the same issue her Base kit has: One wrath card, two Wrath passives.
However, the difference in power is obvious. N-Rodya is a Damage Carry, not a Support by any means. Her kit revolves around hitting fast and hitting hard, leaving nailed corpses for the birds. Given her single Wrath card, it may be tempting to use her as a support for Wrath teams via Rising Faith and while that isn't bad by any means, the swing defeating an enemy with Joy of Execution up cannot be underestimated, especially for a character like this.
This brings us to N-Meursault, who has a more... interesting kit, shall we say...
With a deck of 3 Sloth, 2 Wrath, 1 Pride, you may be asking yourself: Oh that looks fine! Why are you side-eyeing it? And the answer isn't in Sin composition, but damage type.
Pierce at the moment is not an in-demand damage type the way Blunt is. He does have one solid blunt card in You Are Cleansed Of Sin, but the overall damage of his kit is lacking in comparison to his 2 star companion. But, this may have been intentional: let's look at these passives.
Like his base form, N-Meursault is primarily a tank, able to take punishment better than he can deal it, especially with the Stagger resist on Drive and the healing on Annihilate Heretics. Obsessive Hammer only adds to that... if you can chain four reds with him on field. And while he's below half HP. That's a lot of Ifs.
Highest Honor, on the other hand, is incredible. Guaranteed Attack Up and Protection? For free? Free? With him off-field, you can strengthen your most vulnerable unit, provided you're running a Wrath team. And if you're running N-Rodya, who is the only unit who can get that sweet Fanatic buff, you are.
So, what does Fanatic do?
Gives you even more damage against units with Nails. With Rodya on field and Meursault acting as her commander, you can more reliably give her Fanatic to do big damage to basically everything. If we ever get more N-Corp units, N-Meursault will become an even greater force to reckon with. The more N-Corp units on the field, the more likely one of them is to have the lowest HP, the more likely Meursault can stoke the fires of their frenzy and make them do a ton more damage and take less damage. Then, if everyone gets wiped out, he swoops in with your backup team and tanks through the remaining enemy, hopefully bolstered by even more Wrath to give him his own Attack and Protection.
In short: If you're going to pull for N-Meursault, you're going to want N-Rodya also. N-Rodya is a perfectly workable unit on her own, but with N-Meursault's support, she can really shine in Wrath comps.
