Gangstar style, Gangstar grace! Gangstar power in your face!

I started watching Tokyo Mew Mew New recently after the original series was my first introduction to mahou shoujo, and I had this idea of drawing the Bucci Squad as the Mews Mews and co!

I already have a lineup planned in my head for which outfit goes to each member of Passione, but I don't know how many of them I'll actually get around to!! But I'll do my best!!

In the meantime, I learned how CSP's timelapse stuff works so have a Mew Giorno speedpaint!

Why they chose their outfits (definitely canon)

Giorno: He thought the dark blue looked really classy and like something someone in the mafia would wear. And he picked out a bright pink version of the same outfit because he has always liked wearing the color pink, but was bullied as a kid whenever he would wear it. So since he was gonna be a dangerous gangster guy he figured he would wear something he wants to wear, because who is gonna bully a gangStar! (Also fuck gender stereotypes and being bullied over liking something).

Bruno: He has always been a big fan of Dalmatians, so his parents would always buy him black and white polka dotted things so he could pretend to be a Dalmatian. And when he would walk around town with his dad he would often see people wearing stylish clothes with pointless zippers decorating them. And he liked the pointless zippers. And he wanted to zip and unzip the pointless zippers. And he wanted to be a zipper Dalmatian. So when he got his zipper stand after joining passione, he decided to buy a suit that had black dot like things and added a ton of pointless zippers to it so that he could be a zipper Dalmatian.

Abbacchio: After he lost his job and was labeled a bad cop for taking that bribe that resulted in the death of his partner, he decided that he needed to dress like a pathetic person for dramatic effect. And for some reason his outfit is what he decided would make him look dramatically pathetic. It fit his sad guy vibes I guess. He also liked that wine wouldn’t stain his outfit if he spilled it on himself.

Mista: When he joined the gang he realized that he needed a super insane outfit (because everyone else was wearing one). So he decided that he wanted to look like a superhero, so he bought his hat. And he eventually found his crop top and his super cool bright red tiger striped skinny jeans to finish his “superhero” look.

Narancia: He rarely received new clothes as a kid (after his moms death) so when he joined passione he decided that he wanted to buy something nice for himself. And he really liked the idea of wearing a skirt because he likes how they blow in the wind, and he likes airplanes (and has an airplane stand) so it fit his flying aesthetic. He decided to make an orange headband to go with his outfit because he likes oranges.

Fugo: He made the holes because he was having one of those creative days where the level of creativity is a bit too much for everyone else to understand. But he thinks they look wonderful and amazing and gets mad whenever someone mentions them negatively.

Trish: Because she is stylish.

Vanilla Salt (Tsundere!Giorno Giovanna X Reader)

From the day he saved that gangster, Giorno Giovanna had only one goal in mind: to become the reigning gangstar of Passione no matter what the cost. As such, he had no time for thoughts of romance. The concept of romance, it seemed, was lost on him for quite some time.

One day, he decided to head for the local bakery to get some sweets, if only because Narancia wouldn't stop clamoring for them. He had to admit that it looked rather cozy, with the walls being a pastel pink. As he opened the door, it gave a neat little jingle to a comfortable air and adorable setting, with fancy chairs and tables all colored in pastels.

Giorno shook his head. There was no time for him to be sentimental. He needed to get the sweets for tonight's party. Browsing the sweets on the display case, he hummed. There were definitely lots of options that he could choose from for a quick snack, but which one should he pick?

"Hello," A pleasant voice caught his attention. "What can I do for you?"

He looked up to see sparkling (e/c) eyes along with the sunniest smile he saw outside of Narancia. He blinked as the person behind the case continued to smile before raising an eyebrow. They continue to smile.

"I was picking up a platter for tonight's party." Giorno replied in a very professional manner. "I believe it was under the name of Giovanna."

"Oh, right," They nodded. "You were the one to order the "Party-A-La-Palooza-Platter"! Luckily for you, it should be done in five minutes! In the meantime, would you like to have a sample of one of our desserts in the display case?"

"Oh, uh, yes," Giorno blinked, briefly stupefied. "I'll have the chocolate croissant."

"Alright," [Y/N] nodded, gently giving him the treat carefully wrapped in a colorful paper decorated with red hearts. "Here you are."

Giorno took the treat and observed the person behind the counter. As they went to get the party treats, he couldn't help but feel his heart in his chest beat just a little bit faster.

Thump.

Thump.

Thump.

Now that he thought about it, they had an aura that he couldn't really place. It was an aura that felt rather different from the aura he'd felt in his teammates. This aura was something comforting he wasn't used to.

"Signore Giovanna," Their voice startled him out of his thoughts. "The platter is all ready for you." They smiled as they gave him the box. "It's going to be 49 euros!"

Before he got to paying them in full, his cell phone rang. Picking it up, he was then alerted that Mista was picking him up from the bakery. It was odd, considering that the bakery was only a short distance away, but he wouldn't question it for now.

"It looks like I have some time to spare for now." Giorno replied as he hung up the phone. He quickly glanced at their nametag, which was [Y/N].

"Oh, well, that's nice, Signore Giovanna." [Y/N] beamed, outstretching their hand. "By the way, I'm [Y/N] [L/N]. It's very nice to meet you!"

When Giorno grasped their hand, he felt his heart beating faster. The grip was firm but warm and immediately, that different comfort aura was amplified ten-fold. He blinked, immediately retracting his hand a bit hastily. There was a slight blush rising to his cheeks, which struck him as odd.

Why was he blushing? Why was he blushing? Why was he blushing?

"Thank you for your patronage, Signore Giovanna," [Y/N] graciously accepted the money that he almost forgot to give. "I hope that the sweets are to you and your friends' liking!"

Giorno could only give a nod as he hastily took a bite of the chocolate croissant. He felt his heart soar and his tastebuds cheer as the sweet, chocolatey goodness filled his stomach. He was nearly done when his mind was screaming at him to get to know [Y/N] better.

"I," Giorno hesitated, his thoughts working on overdrive. "I wanted to ask you a question."

"Mhmm," [Y/N] replied. "What do you want to ask?"

"What times are you open?"

While [Y/N] cheerfully listed off the times that the bakery was open in a week, Giorno was internally screaming at how he messed up and he couldn't let himself live this down. And, unfortunately, Mista was also witness to this exchange.

"Hey, Gio," Mista called out. "We need to get back to the villa or else Nara will get cranky and there'll be a fight and..."

"Alright, alright," Giorno mumbled, carrying the sweets. "I'm coming."

"Bye, Signore Giovanna," [Y/N] waved cheerily. "I hope you come back soon!" As the duo left, they didn't hear [Y/N] sweetly sighing. "He's so nice. I hope I can meet him again soon."

"What was that all about?" Mista asked as they exited the bakery.

"Never mind," Giorno grumbled, trying to hide his blush. "I got what we needed. Let's just get back to the villa."

As Mista snickered at this clumsiness, Giorno decided to take a short nap. As his eyes closed, his mind drifted back to [Y/N].

Pannacotta Fugo:

Fugo in this universe is the child of DIO, however his mother ended up marrying a man who only ever cared about her for her status and only ever cared about Fugo because of his brains. Convined with frequent bullying this caused Fugo to grow as a quiet person that had small outbursts of angel, all this changes one day in which a strange man was being chaced down and Fugo unknowingly using his dormant Stand ability blinded the people chasing the man down with some sort of purple haze. Later on Fugo learned this man was a member of the mafia who worked in the shadows to help Fugo's life get better, stopping his father's abuse of Fugo and his mother as well as the bullying her recieved. On that faithful moment Fugo's dream changed from becoming a defense attorney to become a true gangstar and use the power the mafia held to help those who can't protect themselves.

Giorno Giovanna:

In this universe Giorno's step-father is his actual dather who he'd grew up with his whole life, both his parents being neglectful to him despite his kindhearted attitude and amazing skills they would never pay attention to him, livint a life of excess and not taking Giorno into account and treating him like a nuisance and a liability. The one thing that Giorno had was his soccer team who would always have his back no matter what happened or if his parents never were there for him Giorno knew he could always count on them. However one day one of the members suffered an accident and Giorno begged his parents to let him check if his tealmate was alright, however both of them in a drunken state would mock Giorno and his team calling them both "useless". This caused Giorno to snap at them and attack them with a cold and unfeeling demeanor which ultimately caused him to get thrown into the streets. Days would pass until eventually he met a man by the name of Bucciarati and he would join his team in Passione, living alongside him and working with him.

Unbeknownst to him at the time, the raccoon was the familiar of a very powerful witch, and they did not take kindly to the unsavory things Russell said. 'Want to be a little bitch? Fine. Stay one forever.' And Russell awoke the next day to find that he had been cursed to become a dryad following the needs and behavior of fittonia albivenis, nerve plants.

The Amestrian government found out that the Tringham brothers immigrated there illegally. The alternative to being deported back to Drachma, where they surely would've died at the hands of the men their father was running from, they were captured. Fletcher managed to escape before he could be experimented on but Russell wasn't so lucky. Fletcher came back for him but it was too late and Russell had been transmuted with a rex rabbit. The brothers now live life under fake names and dodging the bounty placed on them.

Young Gangstar Flip the Kill Switch // JoJo's Bizarre Adventure AU

Jumping ship from one country to the other was a massive risk, especially since the reason for fleeing involved escaping the Russian mafia. Stranded in Italy and desperate for money to keep his brother and himself afloat, Russell bit the bullet and sought out the capo Polpo to join Passione. With his Stand, Kottonmouth King, Russell wormed his way into the regime headed by the capo Bruno Bucciarati.

Run, Run, Run Away // The Mandela Catalogue AU

Mandela County has never been a fun place to live. The shapeshifting monstrosities slowly taking over definitely does not help that. Russell has just been trying to scrape by, at least enough to get out of the blast radius and skip town. It doesn't go as planned and he winds up working himself to the bone to get both he and his brother out of Mandela. The nightly assaults on the house from Alternates doesn't help.

yesterday I posted a few screenshots on twitter of a parody vento aureo highschool otome-game and...apparently people liked it???

I honestly didn’t expect anyone to be interested at all, so that came as a real surprise to me!

as of now I’ve got the sprites done for Abbacchio, Risotto and Prosciutto, but I had plans to draw all of Buccellati’s team and la Squadra in this form ...

so...would anybody want to hear more of this “game”?

no offense but some of yall really like to pretend that narancia joining passione was 100% him being a stupid kid and not grasping the danger of being in the mafia because he puts bruno on a pedestal and just kinda breezing over the fact that he wasn’t just a stupid kid, he was a scared kid that came from a neglectful home, a home that he went back to by choice because buccellati told him to, on top of the stress of going back to school and being thrown into a curriculum he has no understanding of after how much he’s missed. narancia did idolize bruno, but he idolized bruno because bruno was the only person who’s ever actually cared enough about his safety to do something about it, and he respected bruno’s wishes until he genuinely couldn’t take it anymore, and when it got to be too much to handle the only place he could go was back to the only people who’d shown him genuine kindness, back to fugo and bruno, in hopes that he could have somewhere he could feel safe again.
