bike theft is too prevalent in sg. the cops have this unpeelable 3m stickers tagged to ur identity number so if they find stolen loot, ur bike can still be returned. coolios!!

cycled to bay east to herald in 2012 in the midst of fireworks. awesome blasts against singapore"s pretty backdrop of iconic skyscrapers! heres to a year of more biking especially since the monsoon season is over here!

found an abandoned mattress in the woods yesterday while was out with ms cherrybomb. i wondered who would place that right in the middle of the open field? it would be a fab place to watch the stars, perched on a hill, with no urban lights, a perfect spot to admire the milky way.

sun rides to the east! great ocean breeze, a good ol fren for company, rad fish n chips, nthg more a gal cld ask for to end the wkend!

ever since i got a bike (not whn i was a kid), i started noticing bikes ard singers and whn im travelling. every mrng, i pass by this bike, its parked at different trees everyday. i wonder who it belongs to, an old man, who takes newspapers at the train station? a middle aged woman who goes to the market? a young kid enroute to sch via train? i wished the biking scene was more vibrant here. where making bunting for ur basket or attaching used wooden wine crates on ur rear rack is sth not outta the ordinary. then i realise they (uncles n aunties) are alreadydoing it!!!! a closer inspection revealed used plastic vegetable crates salvaged from the wet markets fitted at the back of their bikes. plastic bags on their gelseats to protect from rain (ok, this was my mom!! *lol).. basically biking is a way of life. besides my bestie and coussie, none of my galfrens r into biking.. its sad and i hope to get more of em invovled in it so we can explore our sunny lil island! and be eco abt it! considering hw much high street i wear, its the only thg i can do!
