Help a family get much needed repairs on their home after they were screwed over by a contractor.

Hi friends,

Recently, friends of my family ran into some trouble during much needed renovations to their house. They hired a contractor who skirted several very important details and have ended up with unfinished repairs, poor repairs that will need more fixing, a loss of investment, and a large loan that will go unused as they wait for court dates to handle this mess.

In an effort to ease the burden and help them get some much needed repairs done quickly as storms roll through our area, I’m offering up a “pay what you can” model on ebooks and planners to help support this family of four.

Limited number: I’ve got 6 planners that I will customize from 2023 to 2024 dates (min donation $25, I will personally cover shipping to US)

I’ve also got three series (Soul, Star, and Warrior) that are a pay what you can offer, and from Jan 14-21 all ebook sales from Smoke and Shadow on Amazon will go for this family.

Violet and their little boy are close in age and the best of friends! 100% of these donations will go to this family.

april 30

end of the month means monthly reflection time. april felt like the least chaotic month of 2023 so far, and i'm NOT complaining lol. this month was really fun and also a bit academically challenging in ways i wasn't expecting, but am grateful for. the semester is over, my first graduate level class is DONE, and i'm learning new and cool things in research lab.

may will be another month of wonder but of definitely more chaos! looking forward to doing what i can for this optogenetics set up before i leave and attending end-of-the-year events like our recognition luncheon!
