Hello its Cuckoo.
Totally fine with waiting and I appreciate the update.
I will admit my last ask did slant a bit more romantic.
So I've brought full fluff with this. How I perceive legions react to receiving unconditional love and care from human(s) in the husbandry altered earth.
Disclaimer: I don't know all the successor chapters so I'm going broad strokes.
Baseline: All marines Chaos, Renegade or Loyal, Do feel displaced. They're all just some level between coping and thriving.
Blood Angels - Honestly not too bad. They were a decently kind legion before and they still are. There is worry about their previous location but also!! There's so much time for art now, and these humans don't venerate them as untouchable so they can actually be More social. Not to mention their humans are willing to aid in their dietary needs.
Rating: Doing crayon drawings with your bonded's youngling while dinner cooks. Life is good.
Imperial Fist - Coping to okay. The most important part of a fortress are the ones who built and man it. And they can't man their fortresses if they're not in the same bloody timeline as them! Still though, so much in need of fortification Here too.
Rating: Coming home to find your Imperial Fist turned your home into a seige proof fortress cause they got separation anxiety while you were at work. Hugs inside their panic room storm cellar are mandatory for the rest of the night.
Thousand Sons - What do you Mean no human here has magic!?!? Utterly baffled by the absence of Psychers. Humans here are even more fragile than back home! Also one of the most aware that the warp is doing something fucky to make this happen. Unbonded TSs are studying this phenomena as much as they can. Bonded ones are studying their humans for latent magic. They are enjoying the many mythological/occult books and paraphernalia available.
Rating: Being coerced into always picking magic themed movies for movie night but not really minding as the way your Thousand Son takes intense focused notes and gets you in on the pantomime is endearing.
Night Lords - What is Wrong!? With!? These!? Humans!? Utterly Baffled that humans here are brave enough to approach them. Did their silhouettes not strike FEAR in the hearts of entire militaries!? Did the mere whisper of their name not bring entire planets into compliance!? Did they not- Wait what are you doing? What is this!?
Affection.
Disgusting
...Okay
...I did not tell you to stop.
Rating: Spooky Scary Tsunderes
Salamanders: Best Day EEEEEEEEVER!!! They are SO happy. There's so much GOOD they can do here. Help the elderly cross the streets, aid lost children, torch human killer warbands into ash...finger painting. And the forging, The Forging! Showing these humans a proper 40th millenia forge (or as close as possible) and there are so many who want to learn! They have a whole new interconnected family to look after and only occasional minor life and death situations.
Rating: Finger painting with the daycare children while your bonded who works there buzzes around giving out snacks and compliments, before the group switches to forge practice. Vulcan Would be Proud.
Emperors Children/Noise Marines: Putting these in the same blurb because they're cut from the same cloth. They both love art of all kinds. Its just the type of art in question. Emperors Children are drawn to classic mediums, while Noise Marines skew more modern. Both groups also partake in much Much primping. Beauticians to special effects make up artists find themselves the muses of EC/NM. EC's are more concerned by the current situation, but they can't deny this Terra has many experiences to offer. And so many cute humans who adore their attention and beauty treatments. It's really quite gratifying. The Noise Marines are much more go with the flow. This world is ripe with new sensations and they're eager to indulge, especially in the music scene. Even if these settlements pale in comparison to those of their universe they still have excellent entertainments like bars, dance clubs and Skating Rinks.
Rating: Having a back and forth home spa day/makeup session with your EC/NM while listening to ya'lls favorite playlist. Then tearing up the dance floor when you go out that night.
Iron Warriors: What is this?
Affection?
... ... what's the catch?
None, you already fixed and improved every appliance in my house. I never even knew things could run so efficiently you did an amazing job!
... ...
You okay?
... fine (literally bursting with joy but has No idea how to handle it and will Not show it.)
Whats that, Appreciation? Legitimate thank yous? Downright basic human decency. Every Iron Warrior is waiting to be pinched, cause this Must be a dream.
So many millenia of doing all the empire's Worst Jobs. So many times they were derided for their brutality, yet they were leaned on for it. They could be nothing else.
But here, Here! In this bizarre Terra, they can be...anything! Forgemasters, engineers, artists, architects, anything! Anything and everything! After so long of getting the imperium's short stick, and then falling into the rot of chaos, Finally they are given what they've always desired. And they will Not allow Anything to take this happiness away be it Chaos or Loyalist.
Rating: (thinking about everybody in their old universe while holding their bonded human for cuddle time) Fuck you, fuck you, fuck you, fuck you, hate you slightly less, fuck you...
Thank you for understanding I really like what you wrote but yeah it leans heavily into the "non canon" canon of Husbandry (GOD DAMN IT I MIGHT JUST HAVE TO MAKE A LEWD HUSBANDRY AU TAG)
SO I love this. And I kinda agree! Though some of these are a bit memey/community fueled slants but honestly legion stereotypes kinda have a curl of truth to them.
EC in my headcanon also make a lot of the clothes as everybody came in just their armor so they make the clothes.
Night Lords are very on point. They never said to stop. And when they bond they bond HARD sure they might act tsundere but they crave that bond.
Iron Warriors are completely on point. Continue to praise them they will siege and burn down everything for their humans.
I love your depiction of these. Do you have more ideas?

Codex entry: The Reconciliators Blackshields
Summary: The Horus Heresy left scars in every Legion, scars that would heal overtime in different ways; some would split into Chapters or Warbands serving both the Imperium or Chaos, others disappeared with a blaze of glory for what they believed in. But as all wars, the Heresy left orphans behind, Marines without Legion nor a place to return to.
These are the Reconciliators, these are those who yearn to be forgiven.
Goblin tag squad (lemme know if you wanna get tagged too): @finchly-tintinnabulation @cardinalcanis @jaghatai-khock @echo-of-damnation @meervalv0
Go easy on the Night Lord friends
Background Information:
After doing a very risky travel to save their lives, the blackshields known as Reconciliators traveled through the warp to save their lives as best as they could when the events known as "Horus heresy" were taking place; however the storms of the inmaterium left them in a time and place unknown to them.
It was the 41 millennium, far in the future for the Marines that had survived the travel, everything they had known had changed and now the Reconciliators had to quickly adapt to the modern times or get crushed under the new galaxy they had found themselves in.
Blackshield Leader
Real Name: Sobedrek Darren
Code Name/Nickname: Innocent (on missions)
Equipment:
Grey painted Mark V power armor, left shoulder pads filled with parchments of repentance.
Bolter with many replaced parts throughout the years, Sobedrek calls it "Mess"
Background:
One of the Terran Astartes that had joined the Sons of Horus a few wars before the Heresy, Sobedrek found about the betrayal of the Warmaster after the attorcities of Isstvan V.
Ashamed for his actions on that cursed planet, he made an oath to reach Holy Terra again and repent for the sins he had committed; when the chance came in a war against the Salamanders, Sobedrek took a thunderhawk and fled the planet; only to crash in another planet where there were a few World Eaters renegades fighting for their life. Sobredek joined them and together managed to escape, but not without heavy losses
Important member 1
Real Name: Jerathel
Code Name/Nickname: Dammed (in missions)
Role: Melee combat tactics
When in battle silence is not enough, when the supplies are too scarce to waste on recovering more, the Dammed rises from amongst their brothers to lead them into close combat encounters, leaving a trail of blood behind
Equipment:
Jerathel is equipped with his original combat armor from the days of when he was a World Eater, the symbol of the loyal War Hounds has been painted on his chest and it is the only part in his entire armor not painted grey.
Background:
Born and tested on Bodt to prove his worth many millenia ago, Jerathel was negated the right to fight with his brothers amongst the stars and remained on his planet training those who would fight alongside the primarch. However he started to doubt the loyalty of the World Eaters when Angron instructed the use of the Butcher's Nails, reluctantly agreeing to the process and hiding his doubts for later.
Jerathel throughout the years hearing of the news about the accomplishments of his legion discovered that they would soon follow down a path Jerathel wasn't going to take. Against all orders he abandoned Bordt to search for others like him who didn't trust his primarch. And so when the true loyalty of the World Eaters was revealed in Isstvan, Jerathel was far away enough to start a counter attack against his former primarch
Important Member 2
Real Name: Dareyon
Code Name/Nickname: Healey (on missions)
Role:
Every disease must be cured, every wound must be disinfected, and who better to guide the apothecaries of the Reconciliators if not an expert on the toxic and harmful substances that could kill a marine in days if not treated well such as Dareyon. Whose knowledge on the healing of his brothers never had been put in doubt
Equipment:
Having to always wear a mask that allows him to breathe the toxins of his homeplanet to survive, Dareyon may seem inoffensive or weak at first. His armor wears no signs of being ever used in combat, nor his bone colored armor had been ever filled with parchments or war trophies. Wherever he goes, his brothers know that his Narthecium will never fail to save their lives
Background:
Considered by his peers as "too soft" for the Death Guard, Dareyon was always casted aside, never in the receiving end of the glory or praises by his skill at healing. Instead as a apothecary Dareyon was only expected to fulfill his duties whenever they were needed and nothing more, it was just a tool for the legion and nothing more than that.
Left to die when the betrayal was at its peak, Dareyon had to fight tooth and nail to survive however he could against all odds. Only he knows what he had seen and lived to be where he stands today; but sadly Dareyon may probably never tell about the events that lead him to be hiding inside the ship
Here comes sexy Night Lord man btw
Important member 3
Real Name: Talrifel Tryvge
Code Name/Nickname: Eye (on missions)
Role:
While the Reconciliators are busy getting all of the food, ammunition and gene-seed that they can gather, Eye is always covering their backs from the distance with his reliable skills at long range combat and fear tactics; that are always welcome by his brothers
Equipment:
Talrifel armor is not as pale in comparison with the other members of the blackshields, his armor is still painted with the same dark blue that he used back in his days of being a Night Lord. As a way of remembering his previous life Talrifel collects eyes from the fallen enemies he kills, having made two collars already displayed on his neck. He has never grown too much attached to one singular weapon, usually discarding them when he finds another one in better conditions, snipers are his favorite
Background:
Talrifel was the rare case amongst the Night Lords where he was already considered an outcast by his own brothers as he never fully grown attached to anyone other than the dead; which is why he always loved to roam around the apothecarion seeing the wounded.
Eventually his own legion abandoned Tryvge to die in some planet far away where no one could save him. Or so he was destined to die there, but when a group of blackshields landed on his planet looking for resources, Talrifel took advantage of the situation.

Still the beginning of the Icebrood Saga was so rife with potential for me. I don’t personally see it as a tale of uniquely shitty parenthood, per se. rather it opens the gate for a potentially poignant exploration of familial structures or lineage in Norn and Charr culture and the ways those structures are built can result in sorrow for all parties involved. Icebrood Saga is a tragedy at the end of the day. Most people understand this about Rytlock having to kill his own son. The Norn emphasis on creating a legend and the carrying on of your parents’ legacy more directly in your surname - Braham, son of Eir, is Braham Eirsson. Charr don’t have surnames inherited from their parents. Their culture is much less dependent on nuclear family - charr parents are more hands off, and give their children up to the warband structure instead, where they are raised in groups with their peers by unrelated mentor figures instead. Charr have a broader community mindedness that Crecia is a reflection of, whereas Rytlock funnily enough reflects more the human values of individual attachment > community. In the story section where you are chasing Ryland with his parents through the storm and are intercepted by a huge ice elemental heading toward the valley, and Rytlock wants to just ignore it and blaze ahead out of concern for his adult son, and Crecia is adamant that it’s your responsibility to stop and take it down before it can proceed to harm everyone else’s cubs, even if it means risking her personal chase. Crecia’s last words to Ryland are incredibly harsh, but it isn’t like she’s unprovoked saying this to an innocent adult minor - this is coming off the back of him selfishly aligning with “charr are the one pure race” extremists & contributing to the deaths of an untold number of innocents. Charr also just kind of…talk like that, which doesn’t make it less violent, but also doesn’t make it as proportionally jarring a statement as it would if like humans were saying that stuff to each other. In her mind she should’ve killed him to prevent the loss of all those lives. But yes, also, young charr are taken from their parents and raised for war. I don’t see the issue as being they lack nuclear family – you see in Steel Warband how loving these familial structures can be. But this also leads to potentially abusive upbringings in the name of toughening kids up, which Ryland was a part of. I don’t even really care for the execution of all of this as is in game past a certain early stage of it, for the record. But you have Rytlock’s Sohothin, and you have Ryland’s flamesaw, a “Charr-made Sohothin”, which you can see both as an attempt to emulate and / or through the lens that he FORGED this himself with his own hands as he did with his name rather than having a relic of human power handed to him, something he’d disdain. And then you have Eir’s bow, which Braham inherited from his mom, as Braham with his name…and which Ryland steals from Braham after an evening of lowering his guard by relating to him. I really would’ve liked to see more about Braham’s dynamic with Ryland, considering they end up grappling each other for fifteen minutes on a field while 50 or so players bombard them with turtles at some crucial point of the story. But I digress. That’s not even touching on Norn and t

Enemies to Lovers Masterlist 3
part one, part two
15 Things to Do in NYC If You've Been Stuck in an Ice Berg for 70 Years (ao3) - gogglor steve/tony T, 39k
Summary: Tony and Steve can't stand each other, but they agree for the sake of the team and the people that rely on them that they have to figure out a way to get along. So they come up with a plan to spend time together, in the form of a Buzzfeed listicle of things to do in New York City.
Because if you go to enough museums with the guy you can't stand, you should eventually stop hating him, right?
Come for the slow burn, stay for everyone's opinions on Cats the musical and a story about teenage Tony stealing an ice cream truck in an attempt to get laid.
A Treasured Guest (ao3) - 27dragons bucky/tony T, 18k
Summary: Despite all of Tony’s genius, the warband known as the Avengers has conquered Tony’s hometown. When the town’s stores fall short of the tithe the Avengers demand, Tony volunteers to become part of the tribute, enslaving himself to the Avengers’ warlord to save the townspeople from starvation. He braces for the worst, but neither the Winter Soldier nor the Avengers are what he’s always been told they would be.
Checkmate (ao3) - starbunny steve/bucky T, 33k
Summary: Bucky Barnes was a SHIELD agent who had to be put on leave after an unfortunate incident during a mission left him temporarily Gift-less.
Steve Rogers was a cold, bitter man who had a history and a strong penchant for hating SHIELD agents.
Both were just minding their own business when they suddenly bumped into each other on the street. Needless to say, things did not go well.
(Also the meet-ugly AU with a sprinkle of magic and a whole bucket of angst)
Gone Before Light (ao3) - Laily loki/stephen G, 2k
Summary: Kisses stolen and given in secret may be bitter but Stephen will keep on stealing, and Loki will keep on giving…as long as Stephen does not ask him to stay.
Healing Heart (ao3) - scottxlogan bucky/tony T, 13k
Summary: After facing a dangerous threat to his future Tony reflects on the five times Bucky rescued him through their time spent together as they evolve from enemies to lovers along the way. Meanwhile Bucky reflects on the one time that Tony rescued him and turned his world around.
heed the path that led me to that place (ao3) - Fluffypanda steve/tony T, 6k
Summary: When SHIELD hires Tony for a mysterious project, he ends up embroiled in a secret conflict that intertwines with his past in more ways than one. However with no one at SHIELD is happy to have him there, especially the former Captain America, Tony has to prove he has what it takes to fight this battle.
Hold Me Like a Grudge (ao3) - Gryffindancer darcy/loki E, 12k
Summary: Darcy and Loki hated each other. Like visceral, deep, serious hate. Turns out, that type of energy has a way of building until it explodes.
Enemies to… well, “lovers” is a bit of a strong word.
it’s all my fault that i'm still the one you want (ao3) - cyanica sam/bucky G, 1k
Summary: Sam spoke first, lips rosy and slick, just close enough to Bucky’s own for him to feel the warm air brush against his cheek. "Damn,” he breathed, “you’re a lot more concussed than I thought."
Or there’s a different kind of hate in hating Sam Wilson, Bucky thinks as Sam washes his hair, that maybe isn’t really hate at all.
lane lines (ao3) - sparkagrace steve/bucky M, 132k
Summary: Steve Rogers has spent his entire life swimming and now is poised to take the Wakanda 2024 Olympics by storm. The only thing he’s missing is a friendly rival to help get him there. Enter Bucky Barnes, who doesn’t seem to take the sport quite as seriously despite his raw and enviable talent.
Steve hates him. Bucky doesn’t care. That makes Steve hate him more.
- aka: the Olympics swimming AU that nobody but me asked for
Love is a Dagger (ao3) - TallGlass sam/bucky, wanda/vision, tony/pepper E, 6k
Summary: It started in Europe. Sam found Bucky, they fought, they fucked, they never talked about it.
Mine (ao3) - LupusDragon loki/tony M, 2k
Summary: Another day, another fight between Loki and the Avengers. Only, this one is different, and Tony thinks he knows why.
Modern Warfare (ao3) - Kayah371 loki/steve T, 12k
Summary: Due to an unlucky series of events Steve and Loki end up stranded together across the galaxy, captured by the Collector.
While trying to escape together Loki learns that he may not be the only one good at tricks and Steve realizes that the shield is not his best weapon.
Payment Plan (ao3) - Nny bucky/clint T, 6k
Summary: "What did I do to you?" he asks rhetorically, batting the knife away with the frying pan, the screech of metal scraping against metal squawking feedback through his aids. He doesn't think he's met the guy before, but it's not unheard of that he'd piss of someone he's never met. It's the kind of thing he'd do.
playing nice (ao3) - ghoultown wanda/vision E, 214k
Summary: “What’s your name?” she asks.
He opens the door wider in reply.
Wanda doesn’t move.
The man bends to root through a cupboard instead.
“I don’t have anything in,” he reaches into the shelves, half of him disappearing inside, “Not much to offer you in the way of hospitality.”
“Yeah,” she studies him, rubbing her fingers together. “Ghosts don’t drink, do they.”
A bottle of cheap liquor. He tosses it a bit in his hand, turning it, inspecting it, grinning at the label.
“Think I’m a ghost, do you?”
-
Following a sudden appearance of a strange red power, Wanda begins killing men to take the edge off. Her first kill in London doesn't go as she'd hoped.
Still Holding On (ao3) - kittyhazelnut loki/tony T, 129k
Summary: "I have built dozens of holes in this plan," Loki hisses. "Find them."
When Loki tries to sabotage his own plan, the only reasonable explanation Tony can think of is that he wants to go back to Asgard, and that alone is more than enough reason to keep him on Earth. Tony reluctantly agrees to keep Loki in Stark Tower just long enough for Thor to talk to his father about how to proceed.
His visit ends up lasting much longer.
then again, maybe not (ao3) - gutsforgarters steve/bucky M, 4k
Summary: Steve shifts his weight. “Alright. What do you want?”
The Soldier sticks out his chin, defiant. “A kiss.”
This, Steve thinks, may not be the weirdest day he's ever had, but it is definitely, definitely, a very heavy contender.
The Safer Course (ao3) - seapigeon steve/bucky M, 7k
Summary: When Steve moves to the suburbs in 2033, he intends to retire from superhero life.
He does not intend to fall in love with his pain-in-the-ass neighbor.
The Sweet Escape (ao3) - AndySkull loki/sylvie E, 50k
Summary: Sylvie's attempt to bring down the Assassin's Syndicate is frustrated by their latest addition, Loki, who instead of finishing the job, takes the opportunity to run away from the Syndicate and tag along with Sylvie, the rogue assassin he was sent to kill.
They'll need to work together for survival, and to bring down the Syndicate while discovering new found feelings for each other.
Wednesday (ao3) - Mermaid_in_space tony/stephen M, 25k
Summary: Tony fights Strange and his weird wizards on a regular basis. So when he is woken up by Jarvis and being told Strange is sitting in his kitchen, waiting to talk to him, Tony just knows that something is not right. What he does not know yet is that it will be a string of very long days.
We're in this Together (ao3) - zenkitty555 stephen/karl T, 50k
Summary: Stephen Strange comes back to a very different Earth than the one he left. Now he has to pick up the pieces, but finds himself coming face to face with a friend turned foe. As they both try to figure out where they fit in one another’s lives, they find themselves on a path they must walk together.

So Adamas is generally pretty nice, level-headed and such, but IBS really pushed him past his limit.
Once Adamas got over his survivor guilt and "made up for it" in Fort Trinity and many times afterwards, he became pretty set on keeping the ugly parts of his past firmly in the past. The Guard warband was not something he had to worry about anymore, who was dead and buried was dead and buried BUT he got his mother back somehow, and he was part of the Pact now so there was a lot more important stuff to focus on. He maybe got a bit too good at focusing on the now, and he was a bit too secure of himself when he decided to accept the personal Imperator's invitation he got before the Rally. He didn't really want to go, but he wanted to be there for his mother if she needed him… and he immediately regretted that.
Sure he got to meet the surviving cubs from his warband, and he later used his influence to get them out of the Legions so that they could build a life beyond their shared trauma, not just suffering the constant reminders of it while alone. Amazingly he had even found some semblance of extended family in the reformed Flame Legion, given his grandma had found her family was still alive, and they were so nice that one of them even saved his partners that same night. But he also met the Guard warband again. Farka and Vitka, he was mostly happy to see again and they seemed to as well, Terol was almost too nice compared to what she used to be, and Ravik actually apologized to him for all he did, but what little he got from Darva and the others was... something he would have preferred avoiding entirely. He felt again like a helpless wounded cub, and it weighed on him mercilessly as his whole mental state deteriorated in the following months.
The others blamed the whispers, but Jormag didn't even need to bother to plant the seed, as it all had added up over time. His brother was never the same after Iotta's whole deal, getting worse every time he crossed paths with her and especially after "freeing her", as he had put it, and he still had decided to deal with the one behind it all. Adamas had wanted to help, but he couldn't without making things worse. Leif, his partner's ex, was a topic they never liked to touch on, but Adamas had saved them from the norn in Bitterfrost and been there for them afterwards. And then, in Bjora, they had to kill the monstrosity Leif had become to save Adamas, and he could see the way it had changed them, how their flame was snuffed by what they had to do, yet they and Hel claimed it to be the best outcome. And he had seen what the warband he was never really part of was capable of. Darva was really the heartless monster that had terrified him along with the others, Farka was still too faint-hearted to do anything despite having the ability to, and Ravik, the only one who had truly attempted change, had saved him from the monster's bullet... and he had to be the one to mercy-kill him, instead of his Legionnaire.
Adamas didn't want another betraying bastard to hurt anyone else he cared about, least of all his family, and he'd do anything necessary to avoid it, even if it meant risking his life, even if it meant hurting those he cared about. Nothing but thoughts of revenge went through his mind as he chased the Frost Legion that had escaped from their citadel. He had potentially burnt bridges in his justified anger, but he didn't care: all he needed was one good shot, and he'd be on his way back. His gear kept him warm in the snowy landscape, but then the storm got worse. His paw slipped on the ice and passed through the fresh snow, and his body followed it, tumbling and hitting branches and rocks along the way. He was hurt, his gear was broken, and his head, at the bottom of that ditch, was now clear.
Cold and afraid, Adamas bunkered into a small cave, hoping to wait out the storm as he tried to fix his communicator with frostbitten paws, attempting to ignore the dragon's voice who offered him what he thought he wanted on the condition he accepted their deal. Darkness, an icy courtesy and panic followed, but the latter wasn't his.
Next thing he knew, his body was immersed in the lukewarm waters of a chamber full of comforting light. His sister was looking down towards him with a relieved, glimmering smile, and his heart and his fire were asleep not far from him. The clarity of shame and guilt made him sink, but all he found was warmth.
#idk this analysis/story thingy just came out lmao#Skye writes words#my writing#Adamas Crystalsoul#oh how much I had written about IBS stuff. makes it easy to write more lol

The Silverspined Ballat
Their laughter was a song in the wind of battle. Their every movement a capture of the weak-willed and passionate. Their sword a keen baton that conducted the symphony. The curvaceous giant danced on dainty feet, crushing bodies and claws disembowled in their spiralling acrobatics.
Jaz'mahnn Silverspine was the eye of the wild storm. Intestines flung and arches of fluids were abnormal in their flight and twists. Yet none of it touched beautiful hide nor armour. Long fleshed whiskers were serpents in water, glowing with the spots of the bioluminscous adoration fit of the deepal abyssal beasts below the seas. The warriors of Khorne hollered and screamed as he stamped and bounded.
The parade of seekers and hellstriders on their steeds were shimmering of many colors from their armour and hide, chitinous spears and lances of beautiful making impaled hearts and swept limbs free.
O Mother of mine
I dance in your glory
Sweet of ichor and thundrous of voice
I hear you call onto me
The storm of souls scream o so sweet
Listen
The rhythmic crashes of their own hooves crashing with the landing of screaming hellcannon munitions.
Listen
Earth becoming scarred of blood-filling craters.
Listen~!
Hellscourges crack their heinous tendrils, carving into flesh, coiling throats and tearing sanguine free with spine-quivering screams of agony and rage.
O Mother, I give onto you my tribute
Of the Pain of Wrath and Excess of Their Souls Aplenty
The chorus of his armour-clad maidens danced and dueled with their blood-hide cousins, claws of gleaming keen blades and swords of envy-ensuring malice against burning swords of hell. Death of the body meant nothing, all dedicated to the art of battle between the two. Even their final breathes were of art.
Filthy Cousins Ours
Mud-eating Brutes
Monotonous callers of Throne-settled Bore
Gluttons of Bloods
Hoarders of Skulls
Each height of their vocals matched by their ferocity. The armies of garnished violet and pinks crashing and waltzing with scarlet and brass.
Mortal warriors smashing, their individualism becoming a heinous tide of true chaos into a sickening crash of rival seas meeting and melding with their blood becoming the paint that Jazmahnn stroked. The Exalted Keeper of Secrets danced in the mists of freed souls, inhaling it all while lifting a Chaos Lord in a hand. Their eyes looking as tender as a love and voice a woman's confession.
Deep, O Mother. Do we love them.
Deep we desire, Deep down...we desire their everything.
We shall take them...till there is nothing~
Her voice so beautiful, full bottom lip coming to kiss on the Lord of Khorne's warbands while her long clawed fingers splayed him out despite all of that musclebound struggle. A mere toy to her desire. The struggle weakening. A sigh before one opening of fingers crushing the lord like a canned perserve. The hellplate buckled and crumbled, puncturing and rupturing the muscles and iron bones, the sweet essence falling into the opening maw unhinging to reveal the twinned sets of teeth and the yawning gullet, flexing into each loud gulp.
The hate-burning fire of blessed blood glowing into his breast. The slide of violin strings and heightening vocals harmonizing to the sweet bliss as Jaz'mahnn leaned back to enjoy every drop, more of the chaos lord's essence being draining by the mere hold.
Then a great force slammed into the battlefield, throwing a torrent of earth and fire at Jaz'mahnn. Only to be parted by the daemon, eyes slowly blinking and greeting the inevitable.
A great being musclebound, clad in armour of war's truth. Wings screwed with plating and hanging with countless skulls and heads. A horned head thrusting forward, billowing a roar that shook the earth and resolve of lesser creatures, stirring its followers as true as the great axe in its popping fist.
Jaz'mahnn smiled sultrily with a slow lick of his flayed tongue.
O Mother of Ours,
I love you for your gift onto us
Give me your blood, O Hateful Cousin of Mine
The Bloodthirster howled, charging with the earth scorching under hoof. Man and daemon crushed under. Jaz'mahnn waved his hand and the body in his grip lengthening like melting wax, armour becoming coiling motif. Sword swaying in salute and claws splaying out in mating invitation.
Give me your Hatred So Pure!
The axe swung and Jaz'mahnn bowed without breaking his regality, arms swung out in a graceful flow outward whilst swaying from downward arc to cleave him from spine to nap. His own blade caressed gauntlet to summon beautiful sparks and sprayed it in the Bloodthirster's eyes. The snarl of frustration as a hand reached to rub the shards from his gaze, only to find a spiked knee crashing into snout.
Give me your Rage Unbound!
Deftly twisting and leaping into the air like an acrobatic elf, ribbons of ichor trailing after as the Bloodthirster howled with magmatic blood spewing from his pierced snout, already healing wound.
Why must we hate one another, O Crimson Cousin Mine?
Jaz'mahnn righted himself as the Thirster beated his wings to chase after the spindly rival, only for the impossibly light creature land on his shoulders and back. The morphed corpse-turned-whip snapped and coiled around the red devil's weapon-arm. Blade slipping between cuirass and pauldron, piercing tendons and joints. A great claw snapped around a horn, yanking the Bloodthirster around as he bucked and flung around like a wild bull.
Why don't you bow before your better, Dog of Khorne!?
You whom so obedient to your Master! Do you know when you are before Perfection Manifest!?
The Bloodthirster yanked, trying to dislodge the Keeper but Jaz'mahnn had him coiled to the point it started to climb the skies.
Do you love that collar on your neck so? Do you feel his chain yanking for you~?
Higher and higher, beholding the eternally stretching landscape of the realm chosen for this battle. Until the daemon twisted and two fell...fell...spiralling.
Do you love him or do you obey like a Good Dog, Slave of Khorne?
They were becoming engulfed into a twin-tailed comet of vibrant floral colours and roaring black flame.
We are the same, you and I ~
O Cousin, so passionate, how I love you sooo-
When the comet was about to tear the earth asunder, it suddenly twisted and tore through ranks of daemons and men before crashing into the mountain of reaching cavader of a god long dead.
I love the taste of your blood on my tongue.
From the burning ruin, Jaz'mahnn rose with a stumble of broken limb popping itself back right.
The Hatred distilled for my perfume.
The Bloodthirster, with his throat wide open and chest wide open by his own axe. Panting in the sensation of mortal exortion, a lie of sensation haunting his failing presence. Foot on its heft, pushing deeper. Claw holding horn and its twin snapping its glowing bladed ends open.
I will sing of this ballad, O Cousin Sweet.
Drawing back.
Deep in the Void, Remember Me O Cousin Mine.
Rage in the Blackness, Be my Tribute and Choke on Defeat.

you said your wow oc's have their own stories, can you share them?
I did a count, and I am currently at 44 characters. For now I'll just tell the stories I have for the 4 on my Warband screen, which are Sesshy, Kanika, Phillaria, and Salarii.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/8897ed9977704f64654aa2bdd578ce94/cb019acdb5f2386d-41/s540x810/d04fefb680febadda0645ee9b8fbbee34d5cfa59.jpg)
Posting below the cut to avoid dash clutter
We'll start with Sesshy.

Sesshy is an Enhancement Shaman that really loves her storm spells and elemental spirit wolves (each time she summons them to fight they appear as different elements, but when summoned for the pic they both summoned as storm). She also loves to run around in her Spirit Wolf form.
She was born in Outland and loved animals. One day, she got too close to a clefthoof calf and was attacked by it's very angry mother. A large cat sprang out of nowhere and saved her. The cat shifted into a tree after to heal her wounds, then into a pointed-eared humanoid (which she soon learned was called a Kaldorei, or Night Elf).
Awed by the fact that one could turn into an animal, Sesshy decided she wanted to become a druid like the elf that saved her. She managed to discover that there was a druid encampment in Zangarmarsh, and travelled there so she could learn how to become a druid.
It was there that her dreams of being able to shapeshift into a cat or bear met it's end, as she discovered that becoming a druid wasn't something the Draenei race was capable of. There was some hope for her, however, as the head of the Cenarion Enclave mentioned that she might have better luck speaking to the Prophet Velen on Azeroth to help her find her true calling.
So off to Azeroth she went. She thought for sure the Prophet would be too busy to bother with something so trivial and meet with someone of no importance, but she was wrong. The Prohet directed her to Farseer Nobundo for a test. It was here that she discovered that she was able to commune with the elements.
After a lot of training, she was finally able to become an animal like she always dreamed, and was able to take on the form of a ghost wolf. She also learned how to summon spirit wolves to fight alongside her.
Sesshy is very devout the Alliance, and was even granted the title 'Crusader Sesshy' very early on during the war against the Lich King. She did some extra training as a healer during this time, and she actually enjoyed it, but the call of the storm always brought her back to what she enjoyed the most.
Next up is Kanika.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/f5ca64ec08e367f813fd7035bba8411e/cb019acdb5f2386d-69/s540x810/5d5478581783157a28244c13a8a4d83bafd57dc0.jpg)
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/69a83ccb12445249d84dd6e4ce7e6296/cb019acdb5f2386d-50/s540x810/bc5acd9dde51db3863a3b5c96f2227134325bc93.jpg)
Kanika is a Beast Mastery Hunter that loves her spirit kitties. On the left is Shadow (ghost saber) and on the right is Ice (loque'nahak). Ice likes to run around in stealth so they appear ghost-like like Shadow.
Kanika was a survivor of the Exodar crash. She was on Azeroth before her cousin, Sesshy. Like Sesshy, she always had a love for animals. The first time she encountered a cat on Azeroth, she was smitten. There weren't any cats back in Nagrand where she'd originally come from, though she'd heard stories of animals matching their description being found in other parts of Outland.
She'd been training to be a hunter back in Nagrand, so it only made sense to continue that training. In Darkshore she came across an old elven ruin and found a small cat figurine. She picked it up with the intent to take it with her on her adventures, but it summoned forth a ghostly saber. She had no animal companion like most hunters, so she decided to see if she could make this ghost her animal companion. It took a lot of patience, but in the end, the ghostly saber decided to follow her and fight alongside her.
During the war against the Lich King, she heard rumor of a rare cat in Scholozar Basin, and with the aid of her partner at the time, Đom (another Draenei Beast Mastery Hunter like Kanika and my irl hubby), she found the beautiful spirit beast, Loque'nahak, who quickly became another companion that she renamed Ice (because of the icey blue glow coming from it's spots and mouth).
Kanika could care less about faction. Her devotion is to the spirit side of nature. She would do anything to protect it.
She was known as Ambassador Kanika for a while, as she'd gained the highest level of reptation available with all the different races of the Alliance, but she now carries the title Kanika, Veteran of the Fourth War. She fights for Azeroth as a whole, and cares little about the petty squabbling of the Horde and Alliance. To her, both sides have committed their own fair share of atrocities.
Now on to Phillaria.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/2e6c4d9d88f697e4688520d567ad0135/cb019acdb5f2386d-64/s540x810/d967d0dfdb73dd3e78eb76a63684bdba59301b4a.jpg)
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/4e0ebbe56130881642296fefd07ed243/cb019acdb5f2386d-ae/s540x810/76a50354119263c980489a31f968d92b3a3a28c0.jpg)
Phillaria is an Arcane Mage.
Phillaria is fairly new to the conflicts of Azeroth. She spent her years as a scholor in the Outland city of Shattrath. After the leader of Burning Legion, Sargaras, plunged his sword into the world of Azeroth, she was compelled to take her years of arcane knowledge and the aid a world she knew only about from books and passing adventurers. Adventurers fought to protect what was left of her home from the Burning legion, it only felt right to offer what she could for aid in return.
Little did she know that she'd chosen a bad time to come. The factions of Azeroth had broken out into an all out war over the power the blood of Azeroth, Azerite, possessed. She was quite literally thrown into the fray of the Fourth War.
Phillaria only shows allegiance to the great mage city of Dalaran, and only because of how highly the mage, Khadgar' spoke of it during his time in Shattrath. He was the one who inspired Phillaria to become a scholor of the arcane.
Khadgar often spoke of the gifted mages there, including the Quel'dorei prince, Kael'thas Sunstrider. While Phillaria never got to meat Kael'thas personally during her time in Shattrath, she heard many stories of him and how he was a formidable mage. During the Fourth War, Phillaria struggled against many of her opponents, and it irked her. She wanted to be just as formidable as Kael'thas.
She hesitated in joining the fight in the Shadowlands, but it was there where she finally found her strength. She got to not only meet Kael'thas, but also aid him in his quest for redemption.
And lastly, Salarii.

Salarii is a Retribution Paladin.
Salarii is a Lightforged Draenei, meaning that she isn't like most Draenei. She is a member of the Army of the Light, and that her body has undergone the process of having her body infused with Holy Light by the Prime Naruu, X'era. (The Naruu are a race of beings made entirely of light)
After adventurers from Azeroth helped them fight off the Burning Legion on the planet Argus, she (along with many other lightforged) followed them back to their homeworld and aided them in the Fourth War.
Salarii is devout only to the Light, and greatly respects the paladins of the Alliance due to her teachings from Turalyn, who was one of the original founding members of the Knights of the Silver Hand on Azeroth. She strives to prove that she was worthy of having learned from someone of such high renown.

Summary: Valefor
Their Story so far:
After the last Chapter we can see that Israfil is messing with Kyings head. He is also taking over him from time to time. While Kying has no idea what is going on - he only notice the constant headache and memory loss - Valefor will eventually take notice of that. And he will be furious.
It’s in a moment when Israfil takes over Kying again - trying to repeat a thing, that had already left a scar on Valefor’s mind. He will try to harm him in a vulnerable moment - in an attempt to tarnish trust.
Kying will wake up from this moment, only seeing blood. But from Valefor no trace. In the meantime, Valefor will head to Israfil - in utter rage. About to end this bastard and him, too - if necessary.
So he storms into Israfils Office. With the clear intent to kill him - but of course without success. Israfil is still to powerful, still having Valefor’s life in his hand.
He could push though it somehow, but Israfil reminds him, that he will harm Kying- even after Valefor dies on his attempt to kill him. He will make Kying suffer - a long and agonising death. Valefor is raging and screaming at Israfil. But he is right - if he wants to protect Kying, he either has successfully kill Israfil or obey.
That's the moment Israfil comes with an offer (all planned by him). Because he is oh so "kind and fair" to his lil solider.
Israfil is not only obsessed by Valefor, but also about the idea becoming an elder dragon himself. (Talked vague about that in this post - behold small SotO spoiler!)
And he is missing one element - a champion. At least he is convinced of it. So he offers the following:
Valefor has to forge a pact. Binding himself even more to Israfil. And if he says he has to jump, he will jump. In return he is allowed to keep his life with Kying and Israfil promise not to touch Kying again - otherwise this pact will break.
Valefor will agree.
But he won't leave the Office unharmed. One small reminder to whom he belongs to.
He will pass out on his way home. Not because of his injuries, but because of an illness that has accompanied him his entire life. He's coughing up blood - black blood.
(It’s because Valefor got more corrupted by Israfils magic, that binds him to Israfil.)
Kying will find him. And he is not happy about the things Valefor has to tell. Kying is fearing that it is his fault, that put Valefor through even more pain. But Valefor reminds him: They go through it together. It wont help if Kying leaves. Valefor already committed to the whole thing. Admitting once more that Kying is the only reason why he is still standing and dealing with this shit.
The upcoming months will be tough.
Israfil will keep his promise to not touch Kying again - but he will put Valefor though hell. At the same time, Valefor will train a lot - nearly fainting for putting so much pressure on himself.
Then one day he vanished. Leaving Kying behind and alone again. But Kying was prepared to that moment. Valefor already saw that move coming. He left a message at a secret place.
Israfil also sensing that Valefor will do that, burning down the home in which Valefor and Kying lived in. There he underestimated his soldier. He left indeed a message there - but he also put a copy at a different place for Kying to find.
They wont see each other for a year, but they stay in contact. Israfil can do nothing about that.
The Icebrood Saga
Kying will seek out Deus. He knows he is the Commander and he knows him from an old Warband in which they both was part in. Kying will ask him, if he can join the Dragons Watch in the fight against the Elder Dragons. In hope to find a solution to cut free his love from Israfil.
A small step back to the moment Valefor will vanish - It’s right before the Civil War is about to happen.
Israfil loves to have several plans going at once - just in case one fails. He will be in close contact with Bangar. Even bringen him to his side and make him work for him in a way. He supports the idea of Bangar becoming Jormags Champion. In hopes to have him as a direct connection to another source of powerful magic.
But the moment it's clear that not Bangar, but Ryland is to become Jormags Champion - Israfil decides to send Valefor in, to help the Dragons Watch to kill both dragons instead. Valefor is also tasked to provide Israfil with all information about killing dragons and the next moves of the Dragons Watch. He also is tasked with gaining the trust of the Dragons Watch - to get him close to Aurene.
That’s also the moment Valefor is reunited with Kying. Much to Israfil's dismay. But his priority now lies elsewhere, than continuing to break Valefor. He even sees Kying as an opportunity for Valefor to gain the Dragon Watch's trust.
Kying is indeed the only reason why Valefor is allowed there. Valefor is not the easiest person to deal with and because of that he comes across unfriendly and like an asshole - even shady. At one point there was even a fight between Valefor and Vale. Kying intervened and calmed the situation.
No one of the Dragons Watch want to trust him. He might be a huge help, but they can’t tell if Valefor is a friend or a foe.
But they notice Valefors’s shift in behavior, when Kying is around or when these two are in private. But for a long time, they trust Kying's judgment more than Valefor himself
At one point Valefor is invited to meet Aurene. She senses something is off with their new Ally, but she also senses that he is on their side. That they can trust him. She even offers to help Valefor - to clean him from Israfil’s magic. But Valefor asks her, to not tell anyone about that. She agrees on the condition, that at least her Champion Vale is inaugurated.
That’s the moment in which Valefor comes clean with Vale,, by telling them about Israfils plans and that they have more people in their rows, that work for Israfil. That’s why Valefor don’t want anyone to know about Aurenes help. He not even tells Kying about that. Valefor wants to make sure, that Israfil is taken by surprise, by his cleansed self.
With Vale starting to trust Valefor, the other from the Dragons Watch starting to trust him, too. That Valefor also knows a certain ray of Sunshine helps, too. Wilson is pleased to see the grumpy old man, that once accompanied her to see the Crystal Devourer.
Then, with Primordus and Jormag dead - Israfil shows up. Confronting Vale and Aurene, who is still vulnerable by the massive magic she had to absorb. Israfil hopes to strike her down and take all the magic by himself. He tasks Valefor to kill Vale and they fight. Only to keep up a charade. Until more of the Group show up in a fight against Israfil.
A tough fight that ends in a one on one fight with Israfil and Valefor. Yet he is still not able to strike Israfil down. Even without Israfil influence, Valefor is still too weak. But his efforts are enough to break Israfil out of the sphere, that had separated them from the others. With the help of Aurenes Magic, it is Kying, that sets the final blow and bringing Israfil down. With his downfall, all the magic he had absorbed will break free. Yet Israfil manages to flee. Getting away with his life once more. Even so, he is left in a extremely weakened form. Not able to cause any more harm.
And Valefor is finally free. But the fight took a lot out of him. He's on the verge of death, but like so many times before, he's too stubborn to give in. He slips in a small coma, in which he recovers from his injuries. And the moment he wakes up again - not only Kying is at his side. His new found family, too. Tears of joy crosses his face, as he realizes he is finally free and is able to start his life the way he wants it. Starting with the question if Kying wants to marry him.
Before everyone goes on their way again, Wilson gives everyone a small bracelet. A sign of solidarity and their friendship.
A gift that later breaks Valefor down to tears again. He is not only free, he found himself people that care about him.
End of Dragons
With Kying at his side, Valefor settle down at a pretty place and lives a simple and boring life. He thrives in it. He is seen smiling a lot - even playing his music again. But strangers are still met with a familiar stern face. Valefor stays a sarcastic bastard after all. And Kying loves him for that.
Valefor occasionally travels the area with Kying. Sometimes even joins Wilson and Co in their journey. Or just visiting the other members of the Dragons Watch. He is always there to lend a helping hand - be it with his blade or only with his words.
So he joins the Dragons Watch once more, in the fight at the jade sea.
Secret of the Obscure
Valefor continues his simple life with Kying, until Vale reaches out to him about the Kryptis. As much as he loves his simple life, he thrives in this, too. He is happy to help her tearing some Demons apart. It’s in his nature to fight after all. He gets nervous if he can’t fight for a while. That’s why he keeps training with Kying, even if they don’t have to fight in their new life.
At first Valefor and Kying only help out with the Rifts. There Valefor gets his own Skyscale, infused by Kryptis essence. He named it Rumpelstiltskin, but most of the time they only call it by the name of Shrimp. Kying also get his very own Skyscale-Friend - a female Manticore-breed. He calls her Brioche.
After Vales Breakdown, they take over her role as Wayfinder.
He later will find out that he is part Demon. Israfil infused him with Demon essence, when he was just a baby - in the Training Ground he was raised. There were several hints that something is off with him. His Guardian-Magic was different to the other. His flames cold like ice and yet burning. His whole presence that made the people of the Wizard Tower feel uneasy. And the biggest hint - his mask. It’s not only a mask. He can summon it at will and it becomes part of his face. A small glimpse of another appearance he has - that of a demon.
It won’t change anything for him. It will just stir up his surroundings a little. Making Kying a little concerned about his love.
But this will settle and Valefor just lifes with it. But it’s possible he will have one more encounter with his former “Master”.
Sidenote: Valefor Demon essence, provided by Israfil, springs out of another realm. Not of Nayos.

For Tonold: wildest adventure you got up to in your youth?
"Oho, I have a really good one, I would've been... 22? Around that, still had my black fur then! Anyway, my Storm warband- I was just a soldier, not a Legionnaire. That'd be Ruina Bloodstorm, she was great, mostly." Tonold chuckles lightly.
"Sadly, this story is not one of her better moments. See, I was the scout for the 'band. And while I was out scouting, the rest of them kind of got... Captured. By Flame Legion." The old charr sighs, scratching the underside of his mane. "Saw them being marched off when I was returning, couldn't exactly leave them to get sacrificed, so I kept watch for one of the flame shamans."
"Eventually, my patience worked, one shaman with two axe fiends with him. Easy prey. A silent drop behind them, a few quiet swings of my dagger and that was three less to worry about." He raises a finger. "I know what you're thinking, why's a Blood fighting like an Ash? Because I can. Now then!"
"As an elementalist myself, I didn't target the shaman for no reason, I took what he had and got myself attired in it. Hid my outfit nearby so no one else could find it." A slight smirk shows on his shaking face. "Those shamans never wore much, all he had wasn't even a proper loincloth, it was basically a strap with a rag covering the front. Breeziest piece of 'clothing' I'd ever worn."
"Walked right on in to the flame camp where they were holding my 'band. I got questioned, sure enough. But a little mention of my 'shaman superiority' and a show of fire magic made them shut up pretty quick." He thinks back to that moment, the face on the soldier makes him grin. "'You dare question a shaman? Shall I sear your flesh from your bones slowly, or turn you to ash in seconds?' Never before had I ever seen a flame charr look so much like a kitten."
"I'll gloss over the fine details, way too many for this old mind to remember anyway. But I found my 'band. Covered in cuts and burns but otherwise alive and well. I managed to convince the guard that I was there to check on the prisoners, how viable for sacrifice and whatever." He waves a paw. "Then, while he was distracted, sent a shock right through his spine. Flames might actually have done better if they didn't stick to fire all the time. But anyway, room clear, got the keys. Freed them and got their stuff back in the room too."
He starts chuckling again. "Ruina went bright red when she saw me in that tattered rag of a 'loincloth.' I teased her about it too. Gave me a dig in my shoulder and told me to focus, I told her to focus and she snarled back. Cutest thing ever. We ended up having a cub at some point! ...But I'm getting distracted."
"With me there to back them up with my magic, we cleaned out that entire camp! Mission unconventionally successful! Retrieved my usual clothes and threw away that old rag." He makes a throwing gesture. "Then I helped Ruina convince our centurion it was entirely part of the plan, the Flames never expect a Blood warband to take them out from the inside after all."
"All in all, a wild adventure for sure. Wasn't expecting to play spy that day but it sure worked out well! Besides, got me closer to Ruina, that was a big bonus." He smiles, perhaps with a small tinge of sadness. "I miss her sometimes, but not many charr live to their 70s like me. But I still enjoyed all the time I did get to spend with her."

[@forsaken-constellation] 🖊🖊 for Lifa Stormstrike? ♥
Lifa hours!! :D <3 (Today is the day of the Lifa and Liifa squad as;jkldf :) )
🖊 - Lifa's an elementalist (eventually a catalyst), and she has a complex relationship with her use of fire. She's a charr and very much grew up in the Legions (Ash Legion, with the rest of her 'bandmates). I hesitate to say that she has no personal region to hate the Flame Legion as a cub, because that's not really true--the fact of their opinions toward and treatment of anyone of her gender is enough of a personal reason to hate them, and she absolutely does. But her reluctance to use fire isn't only or specifically because of that. It's that combined with the general animosity the Legions have towards magic users, as well as this sort of sense that she half-thinks she can prove herself worthy enough to not be painted with that brush.
She and Weylon, who were best friends as very small cubs and remained close as they grew, used to actively bully the rest of their future 'bandmates. They both had fairly well-known parents and thought that made them better than the others. They eventually got a dose of reality when Ari saved them from an ill-fated expedition in the middle of a storm with her guardian magic, and they did legitimately feel bad for what they'd done. Her bandmates forgave her, or were at least willing to give her a second chance. But on Lifa's part, she still carried this sense of wanting to be accepted on a broader level despite her magic being a perceived flaw, and her fire magic especially. She eschewed training in the use of fire entirely in the futile hope that it would somehow help.
🖊 - Lifa was Dominion (and, later, Frost Legion) during the Icebrood Saga. She at one point fought her former 'bandmates (though at this point, their warband had been separated for going on fifteen years). She really doesn't remember this well. The corruption was making her less and less present as time went on, and she also reached a certain point at which she was half-dissociated from everything. She remembers what happened during that time period as a jumble of things that feel half like a dream and half real. It's going to make it even more awkward than it would have been otherwise when she sees her old 'bandmates again, that's for sure.
#gw2#lifa stormstrike#forsaken-constellation#thanks a bunch for the ask! :D#<3 <3#this cat is a bundle of bad choices#though i still love her very much

The Gods of Pent: The First Herd - South Rage Wind
South Rage Wind, the Chaos-Killer, the Desert Wind, the Bull Horse
The Cult of South Rage Wind (AIR ETERNAL BATTLE)
The South Rage Wind is the Killer of Chaos, who slew the Devil. He is the burning hot wind from the wastelands of Prax, the ever-raging berserker storm. He is an ancient, violent and bestial god, and it was his frenzy and his love of the world, combined with the power of the earth and the love of life, which allowed him to stand firm against Chaos. His power is dangerous and his followers rowdy, but none can deny his power.
Mythos and History
Of all the winds, none are as violent, primal and savage as the South Rage Wind. He and his sons traveled across the world in ancient days, and they were always known for their love of the Earth Goddesses - enough for South Rage Wind to even fight against his brothers if they threatened his love, Eyritha. But even the South Rage Wind did not fully understand himself in that ancient time, for he had not yet found his enemy.
His violent power made him great during the Gods War and the Darkness, though he did not always do good things. He gravely wounded Lozarl, wounding him so he could not be there to protect Odchigin from West King Wind. This helped bring on the Darkness. He and his followers consumed many of the grasses and plants, and he slew many gods, for all he knew was battle and war.
However, when Chaos emerged, none proved a greater foe. The South Rage Wind slew the Chaos Wind, and fought forever against the monsters that should not be. And yet even he was not enough to stop the forces of the Devil, the worst of all things, the Lord of Chaos. The Devil was called Wakboth, and he was the true enemy of South Rage Wind. His coming clarified all things for the Bull Horse, for now he knew where his fury should be turned.
The Devil slew many gods. He was near to unbeatable. Even South Rage Wind could not stand against him. His ear was torn off and he was mortally wounded in the battle. He should have died. But Eyritha, loving wife, embraced him from afar. She sent her life into the Earth, and the Earth sent its power to South Rage Wind. When he should have died, the land died in his place, and he stood once more. The great Block which was the last of the ancient Spike, the Tower of Law, flew to him. It bounced, and Urox caught it and used it to crush the Devil, defeating him forever.
South Rage Wind still died after this - the last living god to be taken by Death, in the Storm Hills. And in the Underworld, he met the Devil once more, and all of his allies were there as well. Kargzant, West King Wind and even Yu-Kargzant himself supported South Rage Wind in the Battle Beyond Death, and when things were at their worst, the mysterious goddess who is known only as Arachne Solara devoured Chaos, binding it with strange nets.
Thus did Yu-Kargzant emerge from the Underworld, with South Rage Wind holding the line against Chaos, that the Darkness might end. This is why, despite all the destruction the Bull Horse caused and all the destruction his followers still cause, no one denies them their right to exist.
Nature of the Cult
The cult of South Rage Wind exists to fight Chaos, the Eternal Enemy. Members of it often leave their tribes, gathering in warbands that wander the land in search of Chaos to fight. Tribal cults are always small, for the urge to go and hunt Chaos is always strong within members. Their magic often verges on that of the spirits, for South Rage Wind is himself both a god and a great spirit, or so say the spirit-talkers from his homeland, Prax.
The cult is kept out of political power, in part due to its thoughtless violence and in part due to the connections to the Praxians, whom most Pentans consider disgusting barbarians. The cult is known for being crude and violent berserkers, and while they are valued, they are also known for breaking laws and being very dangerous. Most members of the cult are hostile to outsiders and violent towards those who follow gods they do not recognize, suspecting them of Chaos. They are typically rude, brash and incapable of caring about the desires of others, but sometimes get away with it because of their prowess with violence and skill in fighting Chaos, as well as their insane bravery in seeking it out to fight.
Depiction
South Rage Wind's Rider aspect is always shown as a large, dark-skinned, muscular man with the horns of a bull sprouting from his head, or sometimes the head of a bull. He is clad in unkempt clothing and leather armor and wields a large sword or club. He has the Eternal Battle rune on his arms and forehead. His Mount Aspect is a huge and muscular brown horse with the horns of a bull.
Runes
As the eldest of the Four Winds, South Rage Wind is one of the more potent Air gods and has fairly broad power over the Air Rune, albeit in a purely destructive way. He is the source of the Eternal Battle Rune.
:AIR: South Rage Wind is the eldest of the Four Winds, the first son of the Ancient Wind that was defeated by Yu-Kargzant in the earliest days. He is exceptionally powerful in his command of the storm, but his use of Air is always violent or destructive. Initiates have been known to use the Air Rune to call scourging winds, to be exceptionally strong, to summon or command lesser Air gods, to ride horses, to dry out and weaken things, or to cause massive destruction. They wield no power over flight or thunder, lacking the subtlety for such things. Those strong in the Air Rune tend to be passionate, unpredictable, and proud.
:ETERNAL BATTLE: The Eternal Bqattle Rune is also known as the Anti-Chaos Rune, and it is the unique and defining power of South Rage Wind. It is the rune of battling Chaos in all things. Initiates have been known to use the Eternal Battle Rune to not fear Chaos, to fight in a berserk state, to become filled by an infinite fury against Chaos, to weaken or stop Chaos forces, to strengthen others in facing Chaos, to smash Chaos enemies, to sense the presence of Chaos, or to reject the temptations of Chaos. Those strong in the Eternal Battle Rune are fanatically, violently hateful towards all Chaos and anything tainted by it or which compromises with it. They also tend to be xenophobic.
Spirit Magic and the Storm Bull Spirit Society (AIR ETERNAL BATTLE)
There are not, per se, shamans of South Rage Wind. However, he is a god who comes from the spirit-laden lands of Pent, and he is both a god and a great spirit, a terrifying storm that raged across the land before the Darkness. Initiates within the cult are able to join the Storm Bull Spirit Society, using their Eternal Battle Rune as a Tradition keyword as if they had the Spirit Rune. It is less important in Pent than it is in the wastelands of Prax, though in the more arid regions Storm Bull spirits are common enough that they can still be found roaming the land fairly frequently. However, the society is culturally dominated by the southern Praxians and Pol-Joni, rather than the Pentan cults. (Hence the use of the term Storm Bull over South Rage Wind.)
All spirits within the society are associated with either the Air or Eternal Battle Runes. Most are spirits of the desert winds, spirits of beserker fury, or spirits which hate and fight a specific kind of Chaos.
Storm Bull Spirits
Hunter of the Hunger Devil (ETERNAL BATTLE) is a war spirit who despises, above all, the Krarshtkids, the manipulative monsters of eternal hunger that descend from the Chaos God Krarsht. He is a warrior in service to the aspect of South Rage Wind known as the Foe of the Devil, and spends his time hunting these terrible monsters. He grants the ability Sense Hidden Krarshtkids. His taboo is Never Leave A Krarshtkid Alive.
Blood Eyes (ETERNAL BATTLE) is a rage spirit, her fury unstoppable when she begins to fight. She is one of the bravest warriors riding with South Rage Wind, seeking battle wherever she can find it, for it is when she feels alive. She grants the power Fight Without Ceasing. Her taboo is Never Retreat From A Fight.
No Pain Rawhide (ETERNAL BATTLE) is a bull spirit that serves as one of the messengers of the Eternal Battle. Specifically, his message is always 'fight against Chaos.' He shouts this at the top of his lungs and is famously almost impossible to stop or harm. He grants the power Ignore Wounds Until The Fight Is Over. His taboo is Always Announce Yourself And Your Cause.
Scourge Breather (AIR) is a spirit of the desert wind, a vicious and vengeful hunter who ranges ahead of the South Rage Wind. They strike at Chaos spirits without warning, scourging them with desert stands. They grant the power Command Cutting Wind. Their taboo is Never Forgive A Slight.
Endless Storm Lover (AIR) is a wind spirit who loves to run and chase. She is one of the seekers-of-enemies, the scouts who direct other Storm Bull Society spirits on where their foes are. She offers the power Travel Without Tiring. Her taboo is Never Deny Your Passion.
No Wall Charger (AIR) is a bull spirit who loves to smash things. He is a warrior who blindly follows his lord, always taking the most direct approach. He does not care what is in his way, ever. He grants the power Smash Through Violently. His taboo is Never Back Down Without Throwing A Punch.
Opposed Runes
South Rage Wind opposes the Chaos Rune, completely and totally, with a monomaniacal fury.
Particular Likes and Dislikes
South Rage Wind feels nothing more strongly than his hatred of all things Chaos. He despises Chaos so much that he is happy to be friendly to any god that is a foe of Chaos, even Zorak Zoran.
South Rage Wind views most other gods solely for their ability to help him fight Chaos. However, he has special relationships with Erissa and Eyritha. Erissa healed South Rage Wind after his battles with the Devil, and her followers are able to calm berserkers, a fact which can make some of them very uncomfortable to the followers of South Rage Wind, while other followers go out of their way to protect the healers for their ability to provide a temporary calm. Eyritha, meanwhile, is the wife of South Rage Wind, whose love provided him the power to defeat the Devil. His love for her is the only feeling he has that rivals his hate of Chaos, though even it must be eclipsed by fury when Chaos is present.
Beyond this, while South Rage Wind has many gods that dislike or hate him for his battles during the Darkness, he thinks little of them. He is obsessed with defeat of the Eternal Enemy, Chaos, and makes no exceptions - all Chaos gods must be crushed, and any other enemy can be worked with if they will help fight Chaos.
Cult Organization
Most tribes do not actually have their own South Rage Wind cult, but instead hire individual mercenaries from independent cult-warbands to help guard the khan against Chaos threats. These cult-warbands wander the land, seeking out and killing Chaos and living with whatever tribe or village happens to be nearby, often straining the laws and boundaries of hospitality as they do.
Leadership within cult-warbands is by the acclaim of the members, and no warband formally has any authority over any other beyond what is granted to them by respect. However, a powerful priest may end up in charge of multiple warbands, and these priests often end up informally in command of large cults as well as becoming leaders in the Storm Bull Spirit Society.
Priests
Priesthood is granted among the followers of South Rage Wind by acclaim. A charismatic and powerful warrior will be elected priest by their warband, and given the title of Storm Khan, though they do not hold any actual rank as khan within Pentan society. They take charge of hiring out their followers as mercenaries and commanding them in battle against Chaos, and most are potent enough that their warband is supported fairly well off a combination of gifts and payments from nearby tribes and whatever they end up pillaging or stealing during their occasional rampages.
Those priests who command multiple warbands are given the title of Great Storm Khan or Bull's Heads and are considered to be high priests. They are again chosen by acclaim, when multiple priests agree that they wish to follow one of their number. They still have no rank as khan in Pentan society, but are deeply feared and respected for both their power and their command over the spirits of the Eternal Battle.
Center of Power and Holy Places
It is common for tribes to have a small shrine to South Rage Wind, and sites of great battles against Chaos are often holy to him. The most holy site to South Rage Wind is the Block in Prax, where the Devil was defeated, though they know him as Urox or Storm Bull. Within Pent itself, the most sacred place to South Rage Wind is Bull Heights, a peak in the Jankley Bore said to be formed where South Rage Wind killed a great monster by slamming it into the earth. It is known to be home to sky bulls, magical flying cattle that are sacred to South Rage Wind, and is guarded by the Lo Fak yak-people, though they allow members of the cult to visit on pilgrimage.
Initiates
Initiates of South Rage Wind must possess both the Air and Eternal Battle Runes, though only one must bat 1W or higher. Initiation rites are often quite dangerous, as South Rage Wind accepts no weakness and requires new initiates fight Chaos immediately. Initiates are required to wear bull horns on their helmets or around their necks. They are required to swear loyalty to the priest who initiates them, and are legally considered to no longer be part of their former tribe or family, though they may make a mercenary contract to rejoin the tribe. Initiates are not rendered impure by contact with blood.
Holy Days
There are no regular holy days of South Rage Wind, as every day is a good day to fight Chaos. However, each cult does hold a seasonal rite to celebrate the might of the Bull Horse, with the date chosen by the cult's priest. These are dangerous, rowdy affairs that other people avoid, typically involving mass brawls or hunting Chaos monsters. Other cults invoke South Rage Wind to protect against Chaos, so he comes up in several other gods' festivals.
Sacrifices
The favorite sacrifices of South Rage Wind are weapons and bulls, but never female cattle. He has little patience for softer sacrifices, even the pure joy of clarified butter, but will accept valuable pots and other containers if they are smashed in his name, as well as the meat of other beasts. Alcohol is required in all sacrifices.
Subcults
There are no subcults of South Rage Wind, per se, and certainly no widespread ones. All aspects of the Desert Wind are united in their monomaniacal fury, though many warbands do have specialized dedicated worship of heroic past members that may allow them specialized abilities or access to rare spirits of the Storm Bull Society.
Devotees
Devotees must have an Eternal Battle Rune at 11W or higher. They are terrifyingly potent, giving up all magic that is not of the South Rage Wind. They are legally considered to belong to no tribe and are always considered to be priests of the South Rage Wind, even if they do not lead a warband.
Common South Rage Wind Feats
Chaos Killer (ETERNAL BATTLE) The South Rage Wind is the Chaos Killer, who slew the Devil. The entire world supports his battle against Chaos, and when he fights the forces of the Devil, he cannot be stopped. When part of him is wounded or torn off, the world itself comes to heal him. Fire, Cold, Light, Darkness, Air, Earth - all things come to his aid, giving him the strength to continue fighting. When the South Rage Wind was near to death and all seemed lost, he still let forth a mighty, wordless battle cry. Even the Devil could not stop him, for a stone fell out of the sky and crushed him. No lesser Chaos stood any chance. South Rage Wind took the stone and smashed and smashed and smashed and did not stop smashing until the healer came and healed his wounds and his rage.
Unleashed Fury (AIR) Even when he does not fight Chaos, the South Rage Wind loves to fight, reveling in destruction for its own sake. He fought everyone. He fought Lozarl and drank all of the kumis. He burned the forests of the elves and ate all the food. He hurled Kargzant and West King Wind away and scared off all the animals. No one could reason with him, and he could not be confused, intimidated or turned away. He is unthinking violence itself, strong beyond measure. He fought anyone and everyone, causing terrible devastation. Once he enters his frenzy, nothing can stop him except for the healers of Erissa, who can calm his divine fury.
Divine Retribution
Those who betray the cult of South Rage Wind are cursed by the spirit One Ear, who is the living ear that was torn off the god when he fought the Devil. One Ear attacks any spirits that come close to those he curses, driving them away unless they can defeat him. Even if a spirit does defeat One Ear, it will leave the cursed warrior after giving its help once, wanting to avoid the mad ear spirit.

Mangadan: History at a Glance
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/9fef6bcb3dde734b7826b5fcc54d404c/2aa9fd0bbf6c0f96-7f/s540x810/1de1fbb0e3e0b3b7421b74a6c93135e77b72b03e.jpg)
Though distant, the Commonwealth of Mangadan has remained an ever present force in Rhaetiadan since the Anterhaetian Era. Immensely wealthy and staggeringly sophisticated, Mangadan has acted as a bastion limiting Rhaetiadan's ambitions for southern expansion for centuries. It was here where St. Lyeb fell in battle attempting to spread the light of the Separti faith 150 years before the crowning of Empress Rhaetia. Just as it keeps Rhaetiadan from reaching further south however, it also keeps the continent's southern flank secured from the warring tribes of Iikarak-- A fact that was not lost on Empress Rhaetia during her pacification of the steppe. Knowing she could not garrison and occupy an expansive, arid frontier while the continent remained disjointed she elected to take a diplomatic approach to the Commonwealth while she worked to consolidate the northern realms. In 31RE Empress Rhaetia signed the Treaty of Cape Feitoria guaranteeing Mangadan a small foothold on the continent in exchange for guaranteed access to trade routes, currency exchanges, and joint cooperation on patrolling the Iikarak steppe. Though Rhaetiadan has fractured since the Empress's ascension Mangadan still honors this strategic alliance with the Ommiad Empire, who they see as the legitimate claimant to the legacy of the Rhaetian Empire.
The Commonwealth of Mangadan is a federal elective monarchy comprised of five major peoples; the Fang, Dozo, Ashaman, Ogal, and Griot. Nobles from each peoples are guaranteed equal legal status regardless of rank, economic status, or ethnic background. The legislative body of nobles, the Gold Court, collectively elect a Manga to act as head of state. Part emperor, part spiritual advisor and defender of the faith, the Manga serves a lifetime appointment unless deposed by a two-thirds majority vote of the Gold Court. Though the Manga is typically elected from among the nobles of the Gold Court, nobility is not considered a requirement for the position. In fact, in the nine centuries that the Commonwealth has waxed and waned the Gold Court has elected three lowborn men of exceptional virtue to hold the title of Manga. Masane Bah, current Manga of the Commonwealth, is one such man.
Born to a family of tradesmen on the border with Huesca, Masane Bah was captured as a young man by Iikarak raiders where he was held for ransom. Rather than paying to have him released, his family forsake him entirely leaving him for dead. Thankfully for Masane, the Iikarak tribesmen were amenable to their hostage training him in the ways of the saddle until he had earned their trust and respect as a part of their warband. That was until the tribe attempted to intercept a Huescan trade caravan bound for the Anvil guarded heavily by Rhaetian janissaries. Once again taken prisoner, Masane had no choice but to take the oath and join the Janissary Corps under an Ommiad name in the service of the Rhaetian Empire. It was only after the Janissary Corps revolted in 644RE that Masane was able to free himself once more and finally return home to his ancestral lands of Mangadan. His experience sharpened him and granted him firsthand knowledge of the technological and societal advancements the lands of Rhaetiadan were rapidly developing. Knowing a storm of revolution and enlightenment was soon on its way to the northern realms, Masane Bah made it his life's work to ensure the Commonwealth would be prepared when that happened. Fighting for dominion over his family's extensive wealth, he poured untold financial and political capital into developing new patronage networks to influence the Gold Court despite his lowborn heritage until being crowned Manga in 691RE. Today Masane Bah is a wizened, but ancient man clinging to life despite poisoning from the musket shot that's riddled his body since the Ommiad Revolt. While he's done all he can to prepare Mangadan for the future, only time will tell if it will be enough to sustain the Commonwealth in an age of revolutions-- or if the Gold Court will slip back into bickering aristocratic rule that will only accelerate the Commonwealth's undoing.

(A little something different from what everyone else is sending you, but I hope you like it!!!)
Stay with me for a little, would you? Let me tell you a story about an ambitious little mushroom.
Once upon a time, 200 years ago, an Ork was born from the ground. The first things he felt were the taste of mud, the warmth of his fellow Ork's blood and a sound of warfare. Without thinking, driven by pure instinct, the newborn Ork snatched his fallen comrade's weapon and armor and charged into the battle. That day, the Boyz were victorious. Only after the battle was over that our hero realized he didn't even have a name yet. So, he named himself after the first sound he heard after being born - the wheeze that escaped from the fallen Ork's punctured lungs. "Gheg!" Gheg.
Gheg was a strong little one. He quickly adapted to his warband. He also had proven to be extremely strong. From the moment the first battle was over, Gheg knew he wanted more. He wanted more fights, more krumping, more stronger gits to kill and, most importantly, he wanted more power for himself. Best armor, best weapons, the best body.
With each new fight Gheg grew and matured. His ambitions and arrogance grew with him. He started tinkering with what he has, less something done out of knowledge and rather something done by pure instinct. Creations that would lead to greater destruction. Gheg has become a mekboy. One of the many that uphold the Orkz' "technology". Fighting the Imperial forces, however, awakened a new emotion inside of Gheg - curiosity. How do 'umies tingz work? Why are they so strong? Why can't Gheg's own creations be like them?
Another thing Gheg learned from many fights with 'umies is... Da Emperor. Who is he? Why has Gheg never seen him? Why do 'umies talk about that Emperor git like he is the strongest? The best of the best? The God of War of humanity? The one that commands and leads his servants to hopeless death and doom, all the while said servants listen to his word without a shred of a doubt, facing death with humility and dignity and bravery, not backing down even at the face of the danger that would make the Orkz flee?
And there it was. This is where Gheg's ambitions reached their peak. Warbosses die and get replaced all the time. But forget a boss. What about the Ork Emperor?
And so, when Gheg and his Warband were storming the Imperial Shrine World. When he saw the shiny yellow statues dedicated to the oomies' Emperor. When those statues fell and Gheg has scrapped them off for their stone and gold and auramite. When he fashioned his armor and his weapons after the image of da Emperor those statues were depicting...
Gheg knew that he would be the one to become the first and only Ork Emperor.
Gheg bid his time and waited. He fought hard over his equipment, as many of the Boyz were eager to claim them for themselves. He climbed higher and higher and higher atop the ranks within his warband. Eventually, his moment of triumph came when his Warboss died, slain by the tall golden git with a pointy helmet. Cuh-sto-dian? Apparently, the Ork technology was no match for that gits' weapons... But Gheg's? Gheg's and Cuh-sto-dian's armor and weapon were made from the same material. Gheg remembered the Cuh-sto-dian's screams how the "filthy xeno" dared to defile the image of the God Emperor. But his yapping was put to rest shortly after when Gheg landed a killing blow.
Naturally, after dealing with the killer of the Warboss, Gheg had all the right to proclaim himself as the next Warboss and no one dared to defy him. Gheg took the body of his predecessor and the body of the Cuh-sto-dian with himself and finally, finally he could begin to tinker with his own body. The previous Warboss' legs shall be his, as will the hearts of the golden git with the pointy hat. They were strong. It's only right that Gheg deserves their parts to make himself even stronger!
And he did. He grew in power and in size. Each formidable opponent that was put down was assimilated into Gheg. Gheg's authority grew as well, with his warband listening to his every word. Each time he and the other warboss butted heads, Gheg would kill him and assimilate what little of his opponent's warband was left into his own. Little by little, his influence grew. His own Ork Empire was born and developed along with its founder. What now? Now, the only thing left for Gheg to do is to get to da Emperor, challenge him and if Gheg wins, he will claim da Emperor's body parts for himself, now truly becoming Da EmperORK of ORKkind!
Reblog and tell me about your Warhammer OCs!!!

1449, Kairne's War, Greed (2/4)
[It's been a while and I'm still getting back to the swing of things so I'm a bit rusty. Hope you enjoy this nonetheless!]
The bloody tug of war rages on, bringing in hundreds of casualties every day. The siege on Qaleia holds strong as the defenders' supply lines become more sparse.
7th - 13th Day of Storm, Offensive of Charamados - Attempting to stop the push to encircle both Metereion and Gethena, Nikenemo and their Unyielding have focused a considerable throng of soldiers to breach the mountain bastion of Charamados. The army marched through two paths, encountering great resistance and losing a significant amount of comrades to arrows from above in the Scorched Pass. Eventually, the advance broke into all-out combat between both sides in the town's streets. Nikenemo and their elite guard swiftly cut down their greatest warriors, leaving only crumbled statues in their wake. Charamados was retaken.
9th Day of Storm, Sacking of Pletagma - Kaphka continues her warpath, leading her troop straight towards the crossroads town of Pletagma, placed upon a plateau overlooking the nearby seas and designed as a major point throughout the western Thynglish trade routes planning to venture out to sea. The attack was met without much resistance, as the mayor was cut down remorselessly. Pletagma burned, and those that survived the attack either fled or were taken as captives to serve Kaphka's warband. The rest of Habythea was her for the taking, as the twin fortress of Exoqaios stood alone in a sea of blood.
15th Day of Sotrm, Siege of Prosychos - Those loyal to the Despotess still maintained naval dominance in most of Thyngland, confining the rebellion to the harsh mountains. Ankhaema, the fierce strategist, issued a command to attempt to seize the Polidromian island of Prosychos and establish a foothold there. A mix of quinquireme-like flame-spewing ships and sebeco galleys gathered in formation and advanced, intercepting two transport ships and demolishing the small fleet guarding Prosychos with little casualties, capturing some of the usable ships.
16th Day of Storm, Similari Landing - An marine force moves across the bay, hoping to take advantage of the distracted Riman fleet and attacks the sparsely-defended townships of Similari, gaining control over the strategic point that had secured the last remaining supply line to Qaleia.
And on the 24th, a deciding battle breaks out between the armies of Kairne Lapidaris and the garrison at Themis, lead by Kouneli herself... (Stay tuned for Part 3!)
