So. Apparently immortality does in fact exist. And is apparently very easily accidentally achieved, if the fact an entire city has it now. 

The GIW will be waiting a very long time to be able to drop that ghost shield, because the city doesn’t seem to be dying out anytime soon. Or at all actually. It’s been several generations now. 

They might need to request assistance. Maybe before others start to investigate now that vigilantes are becoming a semi-common thing.

Why doesn't the justice league know about Amity Park?

Okay so it's been a bit sonce I watched the show but one of the things in DpxDC is the anti-ecto acts, which I love, but correct me if I'm wrong, I THINK ??? they only show up in reality trip? SO: What if Danny, when using the gauntlet to undo everything, also got rid of the Anti-Ecto acts? but this is babys first time editing reality so he uh Fucks Up A Lil'. As a result when Danny used the reality gauntlet to wipe the AEA from existence he accidentally wiped Amity Park from perception. A big 'nothing matters over here' jedi mind trick, and now no ones looking at Amity. So, the Justice League actually WERE looking into and monitoring the situation in Amity, but when the perception filter closed them off, all of that suddenly went ignored.

This is noticed when someone (Alfred, Dick, Tim, literally anyone) realises theres just. A BIG dusty pile of case files semi abandoned somewhere in the cave when going through a (time period)ly cave cleaning.

They put it down because it's Not Important.

They come back to finish the cleaning the next day and do the exact same thing, but there's nothing to actually distract them this time and it pings as weird. Because why would case files be not important? They are by definition important, because only things flagged as important go into case files.

They try to get someone else to read it, because as long as they don't read the information in the file, they don't put it down.

That person goes to read it, gets a line in and then says something like 'that isn't important' and goes to leave. Person A pushes it and person B ALSO catches on.

Que the Batfam trying to figure out hey, what the fuck actually?

Meanwhile, how is Amity fairing? Canon compliant everything's going alright? Or have knock on effects to No One Look Here started to show?

To make it up to you, here's some more backstory from Jason 'Angel' Fenton.

Due to Amity's tendency to drift around and how that motion is based on its citizens' subconscious, the city actually got relatively close to Gotham for a brief period of time.

It was long enough for Oswald Cobblepot to reconnect with his cousin and goddaughter, and for Waylon Jones to decide on moving closer to his half sister.

It was also just long enough for Angel to be recognized by LOA operatives and kidnapped.

Angel had no memory of who he was before waking up in a GIW lab, only briefly flashbacks to rain and wet earth and a statue of his namesake. His past remained a mystery throughout the Seige of Amity Park and the City Council's attempts to clean up the mess left behind. And while he would love to get some answers, the young mad had more important things to worry about.

Angel was a grad student halfway to a doctorate in English and a new husband with a toddler. Between all of that and his blackouts, he genuinely didn't have time to pursue his origins.

Angel's blackouts were an ongoing problem for him. Every so often, he would 'wake up' somewhere else with no memory of the past several hours. According to Jazz and their friends, he would still do things during these blackouts, but it would be clear that the lights were on, yet no one was home.

It was more annoying than anything.

This time however, he woke up on a plane surrounded by people speaking a foreign language.

A subtle glance out the window revealed they were over the ocean, so he decided playing dumb would be the best decision for now.

He would continue to play dumb for the next several weeks, feigning catatonia as he tried to find a form of communication that wasn't being closely monitored.

Most of the people, ninjas? In the base have elected to ignore Lady Talia's new pet including the apparent king of this weird cavernous base.

Talia herself seemed to grow gradually more concerned and frustrated with his lack of reaction. She constantly tried to get him to respond to her, calling him Jason and insisting that her son call him brother.

i love urban fantasy but specifically the flavor where it's so clearly integrated into society . if you show me a sign in a doctor's office that says get your vaccinations against lycanthropy today i will eat that shit up

Pen wip cause I wanna talk about my traditional art process a bit; typically I just do sketches that will either stay sketches or get transferred to then digitally render.

But sometimes I’m like eh fuck it we ball, and do some ink and marker work. Usually how I do it is cleaning the sketch up a bit (mostly any guide lines, but then sometimes I’m like nah or just forget) then go in with marker over the sketch. It’s a lot easier with greyscale like I usually do with comic-y stuff since the pencil doesn’t look as bad smeared in grey (and yes marker will smear your graphite lines, it’s awful, you just gotta be careful when doing it)

But I’ll color sections with marker then go back in with pen for details. And no joke, I’ve tried several pens out but like these Sharpie pens (the actual ink pens NOT the fineline markers there’s a huge difference) are actually my go to. They don’t really bleed with the alcohol based markers and trust me I mainly use knockoff/offbrands, and pretty cheap and easy to find

lol excuse the gay but that’s the best example I have I’ve doing the marker over sketch thing.

But this new comic I’ve been going back to inking first mainly cause I did it in blue pencil lead over the usual grey graphite, which is very difference, it’s got a little waxier consistency more so like drawing with a colored pencil. But it’s big gimmick is its way easier to filter out digitally so you don’t have to erase your sketch lines, believe me I’ve ruined many a drawing from erasing too hard.

Just an example here’s the same wip with like 5 second of photo adjusting just off my phone photo settings, I could get it a lot cleaner with an actual program or even if I just worked on it longer

Anyway, it’s just a neat little art thing. I could yap a lot about drawing stuff, it makes me wish I could stream drawings, maybe some day I dunno ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

brb watching the people in charge of my local egl community continue to ask for more than two weeks to handle the loss of a loved one before they can go up to someone and say "we banned you for x", after forcing a 19-year-old to deal with these people creating the situation and specifically targeting her, less than an hour after said community member came down from a health episode that almost ended her life.

When someone demands a concession from you that they did not grant you, take note.
