Diagnostic testing was recommended for a BMW 740iL.
The parking brake isn’t working. We tried using the brake a few times and it barely held once.
In order to pass the Virginia State Inspection, the brake must be able to hold when a car is parked at a slight incline.

We are resolving a very loud grinding noise on a Hyundai Santa Fe.
The sound could be heard from the rear when the car was in reverse. When we put the Hyundai on a lift, the rear driver side wheel had trouble spinning freely, but the rear passenger side wheel didn’t.
Our technician realized the grinding sound was coming from inside the brake rotor and concluded that the problem was related to the parking brake.
All of the parking brake hardware needs to be replaced. Installing new brake pads and rotors is also recommended.

Driving was less scary today i went to three places without getting exhausted and going home immediately

i think postgame bob n helmut should have a little house..... a real actual House with running water and electricity and a big ol bath tub and a HUGE bed where they can sleep and cuddle and smooch to their hearts content...... the van is iconic and will always be so so special to them but theyre old now they need to be sleeping on on a nice mattress on a nice bed frame in a heated room where they dont have to wonder if they remembered to turn the parking brake on before they got in bed

Having one of those days where I’m running on auto pilot for some things but that stresses home out bc then I can’t remember if I did necessary things. Like in my old apartment that would be double checking that the kettle is off and the door is locked. Today it’s doubting if I put the parking brake on. Which I’m 99.9% sure I did. But I don’t have time to go check bc I’m at work. And I really really probably did. And it’s a flat parking lot so even if I didn’t it probably wouldn’t be a disaster. And the car would have lurched. I very much probably did. But I wasn’t paying attention to form a memory of pushing the lever so now it’s gonna be on my mind all day.
