Tier list meme about the Paradox Pokémon and makeup. I can’t remember whether this was inspired by the Neo Swords’ LED light makeup or Tail and Mane’s vibes but it was at least one of those probably

I sorted the Paradox Pokémon into teams for the Splatoon 2 Final Splatfest (because for some reason I love the idea of Chaos vs Order and also think it’s clear GF intended the Paradox Pokémon to all be easily sorted into one or the other based on their set) based on what I think Game Freak would want and based on my impressions of them

I think the Volcarona Paradoxes are wild cards (uhh… as in they could go in either) but Wing goes in Order because otherwise there aren’t that many in Order while Moth goes in Order because it could be the Order to Jugulis’ Chaos

Bundle, Hands, Jugulis and Leaves (and I’d argue also Treads, Thorns and Boulder) are very clearly Chaos. I bet Fire and Boulder just turn up to battles with no weapons and just explode Team Order instead of wasting their time participating in a turf war

This wasn’t supposed to be a crossover post it’s just that’s probably where I got the theme from

Tier list meme about how the Paradox Pokémon spend Christmas (maybe one day I’ll stop being mean to the guys in the bottom tier (+ Slither Wing) but that may (probably not though) depend on their fans not being mean to us)

Slither Wing is in the hot chocolate tier because it just gives off that vibe. Iron Treads is in that tier because I didn’t want to make a new tier and that was the only tier I was willing to add it to. Also I’m sure it would willingly help itself to hot chocolate

I could maybe move Brute Bonnet up to the hot chocolate tier (oh god don’t tell me it’s growing on me)

I redid the F-Zero 99 tier list meme except this time it’s simpler. I’m sure Roaring Moon will hate on something just because someone told it the thing came from the future (Iron Valiant has the same for the past). I’m also sure Valiant (and maybe also Tail and Leaves) goes for the pinkest alternate colour possible

Did I just (accidentally - yeah I didn’t realise I put both of them in that tier until I started making the post) decide that Goroh is the most metal F-Zero racer out of the Original Four? I mean since X I think there’s some tough competition out there for that spot

Wake probably defaults to Falcon but is a lot more relaxed about who it mains and is happy playing as any of them. Jugulis and Miraidon? Yeah probably the same actually

(Finally found a template that includes Gouging Fire and Iron Boulder) tier list based on how much faith the Proto Beasts and Neo Swords have in Terapagos

Basically, the event-exclusives have complete faith in Terapagos to the point where they force the blame on someone else, the unannounced ones have complete faith in Terapagos to the point where they’ll willingly help Terapagos if it does anything wrong and the other two have no faith in Terapagos

I redid the Paradox Pokémon in Smash tier list to include the Past Paradox Pokémon since I recently accidentally warmed up to Walking Wake after making the post about it working with Iron Leaves to be Mini Terapagos’s parents. Another thing that’s changed is Iron Leaves rapidly growing on me (pun not intended) because I saw pretty fanart of it so now I think my sticklegs baby from the end of time is pretty

Previously I was like Past Paradox Pokémon < Ultra Beasts < Future Paradox Pokémon which adds up to Ultra Beasts = Paradox Pokémon but since warming up to WW I’m wondering if it’s actually now like Ultra Beasts < Paradox Pokémon (I’d still say it’s PP < UB < FP when splitting the Paradox Pokémon)

I want to make a joke about Great Tusk and Iron Treads (my roly baby) being clones of each other but I think if GT tried to roll it would only break its “great” tusks and I’m convinced it wouldn’t like it if it did lose them

I updated my Paradox Pokémon UNITE tier list meme. Most notable updates: I would no longer be (too) disappointed if Mascara Dragon (Raging Bolt) and Sci-Fi Goat (Iron Crown) were added before their cooler (Gouging Fire and Iron Boulder) or prettier (Walking Wake and Iron Leaves) trio members; I saw a very cute photo of a plush penguin sitting on ice two days ago and then a cute drawing of Iron Bundle’s head (with big round eyes) yesterday so I’ll admit Bundle wouldn’t be a major disappointment and I’d probably have to main it if it joined; I’m no longer judging how much I want them in UNITE based on how well I can imagine them scoring a goal (which resulted in only Flutter Mane, Koraidon and the Proto Beasts out of the Past Paradox Pokémon being high up)

I say disappointment I just mean I’d be sad that they weren’t prioritising the Proto Beasts and Neo Swords because I’m obsessed. I love all the Future Paradox Pokémon and most of the Past Paradox Pokémon

(Disclaimer: I checked Bolt’s Bulbapedia page before making this tier list meme and am fully aware of the fact it can’t actually learn Rain Dance I just thought it would be funny if its method of showing affection was for its cloud mane to turn into a rain cloud)

How the Proto Beasts and Neo Swords show affection, in second person for some reason (I’m not a self shipper idk why I wrote it in second person). I do think Fire does nuzzle Boulder though because it probably wouldn’t be fatal in its case

The “eye smiles” thing is just the face that the Future Paradox Pokémon make in their joy animations. I don’t seem to know what situation I headcanon Crown would make that face in but it doesn’t seem to be showing affection

Wake specifically rests its neck rather than its chin because of the chin spike thing. It does it in a way that minimises choking possibility

Y’know I had to do it as the Paradox-obsessed person who got into UNITE (other than just obsessing over how cool the Holowear looks) the other day - here’s what I think of the Paradox Pokémon joining UNITE

I realised while making this while the Future Paradox Pokémon have both Miraidon and Valiant, the Past Paradox Pokémon only seem to have Koraidon representing the generation so it’s kinda difficult for me to choose someone for the yellow tier. I think I would have put Wing there it’s just I can’t imagine it scoring goals whereas I can for Mane and that’s why Mane’s there on its own. Thinking about it, I have even less idea on how Moth is scoring its goals without any arms. Tail has the potential to be the only Psychic-type that doesn’t use its Psychic abilities to dunk the ball (I imagine it doing it with its hair, same with Mane). I think if it were up to me, Leaves and Boulder would get a bit more physical with the ball too when scoring (Crown’s probably too elegant for that) but it’s not up to me so they’d probably just stand there staring at the goal just like “go in because I said so *I Am The Law by Anthrax starts playing for some reason idk*”

Honestly I need Leaves to get one of those Holowear styles that gives it some kind of energy train thing (I believe Meowscarada’s Dance style has it and I vaguely remember seeing a Zeraora with it the other day. Also I tried out Mewtwo’s Dark Lord style in practice mode and that seems to do it too)

Would be cool if they did some kind of event where they added Wake and Leaves but unfortunately with the exception of Umbreon and Leafeon they have a habit of avoiding adding similar/related Pokémon around the same time as each other and that was just for an Eevee Festival event thing (heh, Leafeon and Iron Leaves mentioned in the same sentence)

Tier list meme about how much the Paradox Pokémon (both sets) look like dinosaurs

The thing is, Wake could’ve been grouped with Jugulis/Moon/Koraidon or the rest of the Proto Beasts because it is a Dragon-type and it is super floofy due to Suicune’s mammalian appearance but the reason it pulls it off while the others don’t is that Suicune isn’t intended to look like a dragon (unlike Salamance and Cyclizar) and its build is very unambiguously dinosaurian, whereas Fire’s build is just a slightly slouchier version of Entei causing it to look like a lion and Raging Bolt is yellow and fluffy with a long neck, causing it to look like a giraffe

I could have very easily merged the bottom two tiers but I really wanted to make the metalhead joke

Slightly worrying that (according to me) Jugulis and Thorns look more like dinosaurs than Mane and Shocks

I know I didn’t want to make any more Paradox memes until Dino Entei and Robo Terrakion were officially known to the public but I had to make this

Explaining a few tiers:

Bundle and Hands’s tier: my favourite ship is DouglasxRobert and I just think Bundle and Hands work well together to the point I’m willing to ship any duo containing one each of them (same goes for Jugulis and Moth). I also ship Yellow and Blue Pearl in SU and the Blue and Yellow Maidens in Zelda (I’m assuming the maidens aren’t related because I love shipping) so turns out that colour combo works really well in ships

WW and RB’s tier: yesterday I was briefly obsessed with the idea of their relationship dynamic. And I realised it matched the colours of my favourite ship

Leaves and Crown’s tier: same as above but on a larger time scale (and replace yesterday with recently also ignore the colour coding)

The bottom tier: those three alongside RB (but RB’s growing on me) are the Past Paradox Pokémon I headcanon as the most elitist and the ones who most hate the future. Also F-Zero is set in the future

Tier list meme about how much I want the gold tier (aka all the Future Paradox Pokémon except Miraidon) to get plushies. Honestly I wanted that tier to just be the round ones and the Neo Swords (I could separate them but then Boulder belongs in both tiers) but the wording meant I just added all the Future Paradox Pokémon except Miraidon. Treads, Bundle, Hands, Thorns and Boulder all get the round excuse, Leaves, Boulder and Crown are all there because they’re the Neo Swords, Jugulis, Moth and Valiant get an excuse because I love them they’re pretty (I mean I love everyone in that tier but the three of them plus Bundle and Miraidon (though I’m not sure Miraidon counts) were the first Future Paradox Pokémon I really warmed up to)

Tier list meme about how emotionless I see the Future Paradox Pokémon. Turns out it’s just Crown and when it’s angry Valiant I see as emotionless. Sort of also Moth but not in the “every time it says something it unintentionally offends those in the lowest tier (and Leaves)” way. More in a “defaults to one expression and surprises everyone if that expression is changed” way. I love giving fun personalities to creatures that are supposed to be seen as cold-hearted emotionless killers

I had to screenshot this and crop it) the Future Paradox Pokémon and what their eyes do in their anger animations because I think it’s a cool detail they have a free excuse to use anime facial expressions
