Final NFL 2022 Season Preview
Tumblr media
My final preview of what we might or might not expect this coming season.
Here’s a brief synopsis & some predictions of what we can expect this season. Keep in mind, it's just an opinion. Nothing more:
-Calling it now, The entire AFC West will not only be the best division in the NFL this year, filled with internet breaking highlights, but I expect every team in this division to make the playoffs…and to get knocked out of the playoffs in the first 2 rounds.
-Aaron Rodgers & the Packers will get humbled this season. I could see the Minnesota Vikings winning the NFC North, but I have a feeling that Rodgers & the Packers will get the last laugh in the playoffs.
-Hey Cowboys fans, unless your defense stays healthy, expect another heartbreaking season. Dak Prescott is losing his touch, Ezekiel Elliott is on the downslope & you lost your star receiver to the Cleveland Browns. Disgusting. Micah Parsons is your only saving grace.
-The Pittsburgh Steelers might finish under .500 this year, but will still do better than the Cleveland Browns and somehow they might make the playoffs, but the AFC North battle will be between Cincinnati and Baltimore.
-Hey New York Jets fans, expect another long season, again, with no playoffs in sight. The good news? Your team will win 2 more games than they did last year.
-If there are any Seahawks fans out there, expect a very depressing season this year. The last of the legion of boom is gone, you lost your future hall of fame quarterback & if the front office isn’t happy, this might be Pete Carroll’s last hurrah.
-Teams that everyone will be scared to play against this year: Tampa Bay Bucs, Buffalo Bills, Cincinnati Bengals, Los Angeles Rams & the entire AFC West. Someone out of this group will go to the Super Bowl this year, excluding the AFC West.
-Sleeper teams that might make some noise & crash the playoffs: Philadelphia Eagles, Tennessee Titans, Indianapolis Colts, Washington Commanders, San Francisco 49ers & the Baltimore Ravens.
-Teams with nothing to hope for this season: Seattle Seahawks, Houston Texans, Jacksonville Jaguars, Atlanta Falcons, Chicago Bears & New Orleans Saints.
-Teams that are all hype but I’m still not convinced of what they can do: Miami Dolphins, New England Patriots, New York Giants, Arizona Cardinals, Carolina Panthers & Detroit Lions.
-NFC Conference Championship prediction: Tampa Bay Bucs vs. Green Bay Packers.
Winner? Tampa Bay Bucs.
-AFC Conference Championship prediction: Buffalo Bills vs. Cincinnati Bengals.
Winner? Buffalo Bills.
-Super Bowl 57 prediction: Tampa Bay Bucs vs. Buffalo Bills.
Winner? Buffalo Bills.
Tumblr media
That is all.

2019 OSG Report Week 1
The 2019 NFL season kicks off Sunday, and fantasy football season does as well. It’s very important to know the types of contests or season long formats you’re competing in to have true success. DFS wise, multipliers, and head to head contests calls for safe yet good plays that may be a little chalky across the industry. Big tournaments where finishing in the top 10 is the goal, calls for deep plays at times, and game stacking where you go with guts mixed with some form of research. Cash games or multipliers and head to heads, go for players with good floors with ceiling mixed in. In tournaments, chase the ceiling plays.
Chiefs -3.5 at Jags (52.5)
As always, the Chiefs are in a high total game. The Jags were one of the league’s best secondaries last season and if we go off that and last year’s KC performance this would not be a spot to pay up for the likes of Tyreek Hill. Though his performance vs Jax was subpar last year as well, I’m more inclined to roster Kelce over Hill to be different at TE. Until McCoy was signed, I was all in on Damien Williams week 1 to pair with Mahomes and not heavily target the receivers and hope all TDS thru air and ground comes thru Mahomes and Williams. Will it be a 60/40 split or more in the backfield? Andy Reid did not bring McCoy in just to sit. But I may still take some shots on Williams. His price is still down across the industry. The best value play will be Mecole Hardman in the slot. He’s dirt cheap on all sites and could have the better matchup with Hill and Watkins locked up on the outside by two of the best returning CBs in the NFL
-If we believe the total and the close game theory, you definitely want to run back the stack with some Jags players. I have been leery on rostering or drafting the oft injured Fournette. Maybe with a better passing game it takes some work load off? Nick Foles was the WRs QB in Philly as oppose to Wentz the TE/Ertz whisperer. If true, this will go well for the explosive Dede Westbrook who hasn’t shown his potential yet in a stagnant offense. Westbrook will be a popular choice across all sites. He’s cheap and he’s the #1 WR on a team involved with a 52.5 total. If the Jags defense shows up and slows down KC in any way, they will be a great defensive leverage play in tournaments where a lot of ownership could fall on Kansas City.
Rams -3 at Panthers (50.5)
What to do with the Rams. Do they have Super Bowl loss hangover? Is Gurley healthy? Will his load be lighter to start the season, and save he for the long haul? Last year I believe he was just running so hard the first 14 weeks of the season that he was just banged up to finish. Will he and Malcom Brown split time? If he has a great game, then this will be his cheapest price of the season. If you are looking for a game to stack, then here is one. Cam/Goff, McCaffrey/Gurley and/or WR of choice you like out of Woods, Cooks, and Kupp. Big strong physical receivers like Woods has had success against the smaller CB core of Carolina. DJ Moore is getting a lot of hype, but I never favor WRs of Cam Newton. He’s not predictable. He uses his legs to escape, which turns it into a “throw it to whoever looks open” scenario. So, between his rushing upside, and C-Mac I think those two players get you all of the Carolina TDs.
49ers+1 at Buccaneers (50).
If you’re looking for another stacking option game, then here we go. I do favor the Bucs side of the ball for many many reasons. I’m still not sold on the 49er offense outside of George Kittle who this week could be a top play at TE. Tampa Bay has always including last season been a prime defense to target with TEs. Aside from Kittle, I’m having a hard time clicking on players from teams no matter the over/under who I think are not good teams or players. Matt Breida and Tevin Coleman are splitting the backfield, Jimmy G remains a question mark. Against this Tampa defense however is a good spot to target. I’m just maybe going to miss out. I do think Winston will stockpile targets to Mike Evans for PPR leagues/sites, but TD equity will be a tossup between Peyton Barber, Chris Godwin (who should take a big leap this season, and OJ Howard. Winston as most young QBs loves his TE.
Falcons +3.5 at Vikings (47.5)
I was a little surprised to see the Vikings favored by over a field goal. Yes, Atlanta is on the road but still a dome setting. Xavier Rhodes wasn’t his usual self last season or the preseason, which bodes well for the Atlanta WR core. Particularly Julio Jones whom as of Friday “should play” despite contract negotiations. Matt Ryan is a classic spread it out in the red zone type of QB. While Freeman is Coleman-less in the backfield, I fear the Ito Smith vulture line of 5 rushes 11 yards, 2Td game. Ridley is not a target monster but is a TD machine vs the 0 red zone looks Julio for reasons unknown gets. Sanu is the alter ego of Julio because of his size and strength. My favorite pass catcher will be Hooper at TE who caught on late in the season as is a perfect funnel if the outside corners for Minnesota are doing well.
-Kirk cousins is still at the helm but it’s hard to ignore the concentrated targets of Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs. Thielen is the safe play while Diggs is the tournament, dart, high upside play. My favorite play is Dalvin Cook. He’s at home✅. Favored✅. Used in the red zone✅. Could touch the ball 20 times✅. For several seasons we have picked on Atlanta with RBs, especially ones who catch passes. Kyle Rudolph seems to score a TD every other game and could be a pivot off Hunter Henry for a cheap TE.
Lions -2.5 at Cardinals (47.5)
Here is a game where I am having trouble with. At first, I skipped over it but think it could deserve some mention. Matt Stafford is underpriced and could go overlooked. The Arizona secondary has only been good in names on jerseys. Mix in a rookie QB who is making his coach feel like “teeth pulling” and the Lions route could be on. Stafford to Golloday or Marvin Jones Jr. could go under owned in tournaments and win a heavy tournament. Kerryon Johnson is also great in stacks with Stafford. If you don’t believe in Murray out the gate, the Lions defense could be sneaky here.
-The Christian Kirk/Kyler Murray train will begin steam and besides a flyer in a Million-dollar tournament stack I’m not sure if I’m heavy on Murray out the gate. He does offer rushing ability but on Fanduel he’s priced $700 more than Stafford. No way! I do think David Johnson returns somewhat to an easy 20 point/game fantasy producer this season. Just remember the Lions slow games down and their stacks are often frustrating to watch play out. I am stacking 2-3 lineups in large field tournaments just in case though.
Redskins +8.5 at Eagles (46)
This game has fade all over it. Large spread. Divisional game (I hate division games). So, with that said Jordan Howard is favored✅. At home✅. And is playable with the defense. Not optimal but if he carries 15-20 times and hits the end zone vs a shaky Washington team, he hits value. Wentz does tend to throw 2-3 TDS a game. He loves Ertz and he is a great pivot off of Kelce in the high priced TE range. He also has favored Alshon Jeffrey and D-Jack is always good for the long ball. But again, never a fan of stock piling divisional games.
Titans +5.5 at Browns (45.5).
Is Tennessee good? No. Do they suck? Yes. Can they go into Cleveland and shock us all and win? Not sure, but I’m willing to say they will cover the 5.5 underdog tag they have. They slow down and muddy up games. They make them real ugly. If Beckham is slowed down by his hip in any way, isn’t the team a lot the same on offense? Again, we are just talking about this week. I don’t favor any Tennessee offensive player but if you think they show up, Derrick Henry or Corey Davis is your guy. Two seasons ago, I would say play Delanie Walker because I have for several seasons successfully played talented TEs vs Cleveland. But are he and Mariota talented together? Maybe not.
-With that said I do like to avoid offenses vs Tennessee and this opening week will probably be no different. The only safe play in my opinion whom also offers upside is Nick Chubb at RB and maybe paired with the Cleveland defense who should be good. I do think we see Baker throw a lot of balls with Todd Monken at offensive coordinator. This is of special interest because Monken was the OC in Tampa and the combined numbers of Winston and FitzMagic, if were one player would have been the #2 scoring fantasy QB in the NFL. I hate being a week late, but I wonder if THIS is the matchup because in fantasy and DFS this game is all we care about for now. Plus, I’m interested to see how Baker distributes the ball. Which pass catcher is most viable? Is OBJ worth the price tag if limited in anyway. Can you trust Higgins or Callaway? I will focus most exposure personally on Nick Chubb and the defense here. He fits the bill. At home✅. Favored✅. Could touch the ball 20 times✅. Usually used in the red zone✅.
Chargers -6.5 at Colts (45)
I do feel I am a fish for it, but I do like the Chargers defense. Maybe Brissett is better than we anticipate, but we know what we are getting here. Austin Eckler’s buzz is growing and rightfully so. He should garner the majority of the rushes and should be involved in the passing game for a team who despite being on the road is favored and playing in a dome. The next fish play is site dependent, but Hunter Henry with no Antonio Gates is in play as is the Rivers/Allen or Rivers/Williams stack.
-I’m not in favor of tournament fliers on Brissett, Marlon Mack, and Eric Ebron. Those would be the only players I would consider but it’s a full fade for me.
Bills + 3 at Jets (40.5)
Why is a 40.5 over/under relevant? The prices. Is Josh Allen one of the best NFL qbs? No! Does he provide fantasy football value because of his legs? Yes.
-Is Sam Darnold the best QB? No. But at home, favored, and pricing, he and Bell could provide the TD equity in this game easy and this game will either fall under 40.5 or go way over and hit 50. I could easily see long TDs from Darnold to Anderson and could allow you to fit any RBs, WRs or defenses you want in lineup construction.
Bengals +10 at Seahawks (44). Chris Carson plus Seattle defense is the play here. Don’t fall for the Tyler Boyd with no AJ Green trap. Mixon could score but this is not an optimal spot.
Ravens -5 at Dolphins (37.5). As much as we may like Baltimore defense, how about the Dolphins defense for dirt cheap and just play all of the offense you want? Are they under dogs? Yes! But they are at home. And Lamar Jason could easily throw a pick six. That mixed with not allowing Baltimore to score 28-31 is good enough at their price. However, Jackson, Mark Ingram, and the Baltimore (an expensive defense) is still in play despite such a low total game. I think the Bills/Jets are more likely to go over their game total than this one. Young QBs like their TEs so Andrews is firmly in play as well.
QB
Jameis Winston
Matt Stafford
Lamar Jackson
Phillip Rivers
Pat Mahomes
Sam Darnold
Josh Allen
Carson Wentz
RB
Christian McCaffrey
Todd Gurley/Malcom Brown
Pollard if Zeek is limited in anyway (Giants/Cowboys not mentioned in article)
Saquan Barkley and his floor (Giants/Cowboys not mentioned in article. Barkley has a safe floor and potential ceiling, BUT it is a division game vs a good Cowboys defense)
Dalvin Cook
Mark Ingram
Peyton Barber
Jordan Howard
Nick Chubb
Chris Carson
Austin Eckler
Damien Williams/Lesean McCoy

Rams (3). Robert Woods. Cooper Kupp. Brandin Cooks

NFL Picks vs. The Evil Las Vegas Point Spread Week 13 2022 - FUCK YOU BLACK FRIDAY SALES EDITION
Tumblr media
(above: Or don’t)
After a truly glorious Thanksgiving day three-for-all we move to THE WEEK THAT HAS NO BYES and the remaining 26 teams playing this weekend. Math on that checks out I think?
Thanksgiving Thoughts
The Bills MIGHT be a little too small-market / bush league to win it all this year. We’re all rooting for you Buffalo but you gotta step it up and let Josh Allen get right. Jared Goff is the new Alex Smith and Detroit should keep doing whatever it is they are doing because it’s kinda working by Detroit’s non-standards. Like I didn’t want to eat glass during their annual noon Thanksgiving game so thank you Dan Campbell. The Giants have no downfield receiving threats and have massively over-performed this year. Cowboys lose to the Bucs in the playoffs for no reason.
Bucs vs. Browns live from THE ROCK N ROLL HALL OF FAME AKA THE MISTAKE BY THE LAKE - Bucs by 3.5
The forecast calls for rain. This game opened with a 45 point total before dropping to 42ish as a result of said oncoming rain. Bucs win 24-21. Under.
Ravens at Jags AND THEIR NASTY-ASS SWIMMING POOL - Ravens by 3.5
All the cool kids are firing up Lamar Jackson in daily fantasy this week against a whatever Jags team. Isn’t Lamar Jackson from Florida? Seems like he should be. A lot of people forget that the last time Jackson played in this shitty stadium he fuckin’ shredded everyone. No receivers? No problem. Ravens in a semi blowout.
Bengals at Titans - Bengals by 2.5
The disrespect for the Titans does not sit well with this blog even though I’m pretty sure like 2 weeks ago I was calling the Titans the worst offense in football BUT THAT WAS THEN. Titans ON THE MONEY LINE.
Texans at Dolphins - FINS BY LIKE 16 OR SOMETHING
This started as 7 point game and moved rapidly because of some QB news in Houston. I know, I know, Houston has a QB? Who knew? This game has sneaky shootout potential. NO CLUE WHO COVERS WHAT OR WHAT THE FUCKIN LINE IS BUT JEFF WILSON DOES A BUNCH OF STUFF.
Broncos at Panthers - Broncos by 2.5
Why is this a game and why is it happening and why do I have to try to talk about it? Jesus fuck you Roger Goddell. PANTHERS MONEY LINE???
Burrs at Juts - Jets by 6
I actually like the Jets offense here? Said no one ever. But I do. *checks the Over/Under of 38 points and backtracks from this claim* The Bears will be minus Justin Fields and I think the Jets finally get BLACK SHEEP ELIJAH MOORE involved a little. Thank you Mike White. On the side line, Zach Wilson, who won’t even be active for the game because HE’S A SPOILED MORMON OR SOME SHIT seethes and have sex with 50 year old women. Jets cover.
LA Rams at KC Chiefs - Chiefs by a lot
The Rams entire offense appears to be RIP and the Chiefs are even a little banged up here. Rams keep it semi respectable just because nothing makes sense. Under on 42 points as well.
Raiders at Seahawks LIVE FROM THE TERROR DOME - Over/Under 47 points
Finally a game to give a fuck about. This should be fun - Over on 47 points. I ate too much turkey. I sleepy. FUCK YOU ROGER GODDELL.

Week 8 Picks Against Spread
BAL vs TB
Seems too easy to take Baltimore w/ how ugly it’s been for the Bucs but that’s what Vegas wants you to believe. Bucs can’t run the ball Brady has no time or interest in the pocket. Could get worse before it gets better for Tampa. On the flip side Baltimore dealing w several key injuries. Andrews, Bateman, Stanley, Campbell. Wouldn’t touch this game. Gun to my head
TB +1
DEN vs JAX
Both teams could struggle to move the ball. Regardless who quarterbacks for the Broncos their offense is not scaring anyone. Denver could be sellers at trade deadline. And their coach may not last his first season. This looks like a team imploding on itself. Jags in London not exactly a home game but close enough.
JAX -2.5
PIT vs PHI
Not much to complain about in Philadelphia right now. Pittsburgh is feisty and can surprise teams if they are taken lightly. I don’t think the Eagles will after a bye week- hungry to make fans forget about the Phillies for a day. That being said, the Eagles have taken their foot off the gas in the third quarter and allowed teams to creep back. Steelers late cover.
PIT +10.5
MIA vs DET
Line already moved half point in MIA favor. Betting public seems to know that this Dolphins team is legit and Detroit has lost whatever excitement they had going early on in the season. Their defense may give up 45+.
MIA -3.5
ARI vs MIN
The Vikings are the better team. Arizona showed some signs last week w DHop return. Defensively they could be turning things around. Kingsbury still head scratching at times but Arizona won’t lose by more than field goal.
ARI +3.5
NE vs NYJ
No Breece Hall really hurts this Jets team. Michael Carter is a good player but not explosive. James Robinson still learning playbook and lacking burst. Jets defense should keep the Pats from putting up many points but Zach Wilson will have to make a play to win it and I don’t think he can/ will. Belichick just got embarrassed on national TV, I think he’d rather die than lose this game. Line has already moved a full point just today. Don’t care.
NE -2.5
CHI vs DAL
Dak is back but offense was a bit rusty. Zeke may be out. This should not be a very high scaring game. Both teams want to run the ball. Fields looked pretty good Monday night vs New England. Brisker is a stud in the secondary for the Bears. Micah Parsons could make life tough for Chicago but this is too many points.
CHI +9.5
CAR vs ATL
Falcons D just got torched by Burrow. The Panthers are NOT the Bengals. Carolina played inspired football last week after their coach was fired and their best player was traded. I think that continues and their defense will make some plays. I wouldn’t want to watch this game if it was the only game on. Do not bet this game.
CAR +4
LV vs NO
The Raiders are not as bad as their record and the Saints might be worse than theirs. Winston may be back but he’s still injured and when he’s healthy he’s still Jameis. New Orleans defense has not been good. Josh Jacobs is playing the best football of his career. Raiders win easy.
LV -1.5
TEN vs HOU
Titans are hard to figure out but they’ve strung together four straight wins. Houston is ready for the offseason already. They are competitive most weeks but Tennesse will be more physical and well coached. Dameon Pierce is about all the Texans have but the Titans have a solid defense that has held opponents to 17 or fewer points their last 3 games. Either this is a trap or the easiest bet of the week.
TEN -2
SEA vs NYG
When either of these teams are underdogs you take the points.
NYG +3
WAS vs IND
The Colts brass had seen enough of Matty Ice and now we get the Sam Ehlinger experience. Maybe it can’t get any worse? Or maybe it can. Either way Indy is a complete mess right now. Heinicke actually gives the Commanders some life, for some reason.
WAS +2.5
SF vs LAR
McVay had two weeks to figure out how to beat Shannahan, which is probably not long enough. But at home, coming off a bye, the Rams are the healthier team. Maybe this is the week he figures it out.
LAR +1.5
GB vs BUF
11 is a lot of points and the Packers are desperate. But then again Buffalo just keeps rolling. Green Bay’s slow, boring brand of football will fit the gameplan of keeping Josh Allen off field as much as possible- IF they can sustain drives. I don’t think they can. They’ll probably get blown out.
BUF -11
CIN vs CLE
Good pass rush from CLE won’t be as effective if Burrow stays in shotgun like he has been. Riding Chubb should help the time of possession battle. I suspect CLE will shade a safety toward Chase and try to keep this a lower scoring, physical divisional game. Not sure they can do it because the Bengals appear to have gotten their groove back. And as they showed last week they can also beat you with Boyd or Higgins. Still, divisional game on the road in Primetime, I’ll take the points.
CLE +3.5

49 S Bossa wins the Panthers; High Bronco the Ponies
Lengthy story brief, listed below are the NFL picks for Week 5: 49ers 30, Panthers 10: It is the NFL’s greatest protection versus the NFL’s worst assault. It is Bossa vs. Baker. And that is how the 49ers accumulate factors earlier than the East Coast cease in West Virginia (see: 31-13 win in 2020 over the New York Jets, 41-33 win in ’21 in Detroit). Line: 49ers -6 26 Broncos, 13 Colt: There isn’t a Jonathan Taylor on the Colts, setting the stage for one more Russell Wilson win in prime time in Denver. The larger thriller is whether or not Denver’s protection will push Matt Ryan again by means of the top zone. Font: Bronco -3.5 24 packs, 17 giants: Aaron and Aaron are learning overseas. That may be Aaron Rodgers and Aaron Jones driving Inexperienced Bay to victory of their London debut. Line: Giants +8 Payments 31, Steelers 14: Did the Steelers decide Buffalo on Kenny Pickett’s first NFL begin? He may also put it in a barrel and ship it over close by Niagara Falls. Font: Bells -14 Chargers 17, Browns 16: The ‘back-to-back’ staff wins the Chargers, as Khalil Mack can be Nick Bosa’s greatest challenger for the NFL title this yr. Font: Brown +3 Jaguar 31, 25 Texans: How lengthy will Houston go winless beneath coach Luffy Smith? This interrupts the Texans’ eight-game successful streak within the South Asian Collection. Line: Texas +7 Vikings 28, Bears 20: The Vikings overcame London’s jet lag and placed on a jubilant present for his or her troubled Chicago bid. Font: Vikings -7 Patriots 28, black 27: Invoice Belichick finds a simple mark within the NFL’s most beneficiant protection (35.3 factors per sport). Font: black +3 Saints 27, Seahawks 7: All due respect to Geno Smith for successful the NFC Offensive Participant of the Week award however he earned it towards the NFL’s most beneficiant protection (see paragraph above). Font: Saints -5 1/2 23 dolphins and 17 planes: Tua Tagovailoa is out (lastly, fortunately, mercifully) and that leaves Miami coach Mike McDaniel to plot his well past his former 49ers teammates Robert Saleh and Mike LaFleur, Jets coach and offensive coordinator, respectively. Font: Dolphins -3 Boss 28, Falcons 14: Tom Brady may use some optimistic publicity today, so think about this: It is 9-0 towards Atlanta, plus a large Tremendous Bowl comeback; He is thrown 15 touchdowns and interceptions in sweeping the Bucs-Falcons collection over the previous two years. Font: Bucs -8 1/2 Titans 20, Commanders 17: Tennessee heads into farewell week after extending Washington’s dropping streak to 4. NFL Week 4 Recap
Tumblr media
Order was gratefully restored in week 5 with many of the favorites overcoming early storms to bounce back to take the win.
The Green Bay Packers were most notable in fitting with this theme and they needed overtime to beat the New England Patriots even though they were at home. SImilarly the Philadelphia Eagles were down by 2 TDs before mounting a comeback to win rather decisively.
The Chiefs-Bucs game did not at all follow in this pattern. Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs took the lead and didn’t look back.
Still the most dramatic game of the weekend was the one that most validates the theme of this week.
GAME OF THE WEEK: Buffalo Bills Def. Baltimore Ravens 23-20
Tumblr media
The Ravens vs Bills game was wort everybit of watch time you bothered to give to it.
When Josh Allen comes out and throws a pick in the 1st quarter, and then Devin Singletary follows that with a fumble on the next drive, you could bet that the nerves started to set in with Buffalo, and you wondered if these offensive misues were happening as a result of Baltimore’s defense or the Bills themselves.
They’d snap out of it in the 2nd half and so did their defense, hodling the Ravens to 0 points scored in the 2nd half.
The major talking point that came from this game, was John Harbaugh and his decision to attempt a key 4th down near the goal-line instead of going for a field goal, and the problem wit those is that you’re a genius when it works and moron when it doesn’t. This game could have gone to overtime or even ended in a Ravens win had they taken the 3 points.
For the Bills this was a much needed win to reassert their claim as top team in the conference, in what was by far the most dramatic game of the weekend.
Scroll down to experience the calming effects of my week 5 picks.

WEEK 2 - Wrap Up
Let's start naming nuts! (SURVIVOR RECAP)
youtube
Week 2 and we are already just down to 4 left in Survivor. So, it got me thinking about this classic scene from Best In Show - and if I were to start naming nuts they would be names like - Young, Jones, Cappillino, Scott, White, Howard, Norman and yes Breen. These clowns, with 32 teams to pick from could not pick a winner and are out by week 2. So it's up to Allmendinger, Rutledge, Krippayne and Gullahorn to carry us through. Good luck guys!
LANAKILA vs FUNK GUY
Tumblr media
This was a good one. Both Cliff and Dana started the season out with a loss so there was a lot on the line for each of them. No one wants to start out 0-2 as it's a hard climb out of that situation. In fact, in the actual NFL if you start out 0-2 your chances of making the playoffs slips to like 11%. Those teams this year are Raiders, Bengals, Panthers, Falcons, Texans and the Titans...oh and Cliff Young. Cliff did start T Hill it was just Taysom not Tyreek...if he had Tyreek we would be talking about Dana moving to 0-2! Dana had huge games from Goff, McCaffrey and Mike Williams. Great game Dana. Nice bounce back for a guy who autodrafted.
TRADE WITH ME vs TREE HUGGERS
Tumblr media
Well this one got out of hand quickly. Brett started his week with an amazing Thursday night from Herbert and from the first game of the day on Sunday from Waddle and from that point on it didn't matter what Krippayne did he wasn't going to catch him. Well, I guess he could have played Cooper instead of Gage but other than that.... It also didn't help Scott that Mahomes had a horrible week only putting up 21 points. If you own Mahomes and don't put up 50...your week is ruined...trust me. Great win Brett! Scott, so sorry and next week you face Kyle who will be searching for his first win - so he will be focused.
MOOSES ON THE LOOSES vs BACKDOOR BANDITS
Tumblr media
Yes, as noted in the previous paragraph - the Backdoor Bandits move to 0-2 as the strange and unpredictable "Moose" ate up his competition in a single bite. It did come down to Monday Night for these guys - with Mitch still with Henry and Kyle with DeVonta Smith but Kyle was down 25 points to start the night - so he would need that from Smith and for Henry to break his leg in warm ups to avoid the loss. And as you know, none of that happened ( although Henry might as well broken his leg for how bad he looked ) and so Mitch grabs his first win of the season and probably now feels embolden to try something like this girl in the GIF is doing. Please Mitch...please no. Congrats!
LONG LEFT BALLERS vs HOWARD
Tumblr media
Yes...it happened. Bebo Norman just bitch slapped Rob Howard in week 2. I have to be honest guys...I am a bit concerned for Rob. I mean I know he eeked out a win in week 1 but I just don't sense the passion and determination that a three time champion should have. I know he's been busy with his Polka Band - and maybe that's it - a focus thing...but shout out to Bebo who grabbed the high point win of the week ($20) with 146 points, and just had amazing performances from Rodgers, Swift, Tyreek, Kupp and Bucs D. I am glad I don't have to face him until week 7...when most of his team will hopefully be banged up or suspended!
MR AWESOME vs TuPADRE
Tumblr media
Yep. You guessed it...it's the "High Five Guys" match up. This is the week each year, when the two "best friends" in the league - Andy and Gabe...who everyday do a high five walk (as documented by CBS Sunday Morning) face each other in fantasy football. And, we are suppose to believe that even in the heat of the battle of something massive like fantasy football - that they can still face each other, (snap and clap) and remain friends? My theory is they are both sick of pretending to be friends and are both sick of doing this high five bullshit. But each of them thinks the other really loves it and so it goes on. Like an old couple in a dead marriage who don't want to hurt their kids feelings or break up the family so they continue in misery. This has to be what's going on with this whole "were best friends, we play badminton and play musical instruments really really well" thing. Anyway - what you thought happened happened....Andy won.
KELCE LATELY vs BOOMERSOONER
Tumblr media
Well, this was the final game of the night. Before the two MNF games had started, Stu had the lead 101.08 to 76.82 - so I was down 24.26. He had just 1 player left to play - but a good player so of course I was concerned...Stefon Diggs was that player. I on the other hand had 4 left to play...and many of them good players as well - Delvin Cook, AJ Brown, Devin Singletary and Tyler Bass (kicker). So I felt like Diggs would put up at least what he did last week which was 23... so my goal was to get to 125 and seal the win...meaning roughly 50 points from these 4 amazing players. I won't bore you with the details since it's been a long night. Needless to say Diggs put up 37.80 points and collectively my 4 players didn't even come close to Diggs numbers alone. So, Stu wins...as he should. I can't expect to put it all on Kelce or Lamar. Good win Stu.
CHEERLEADER OF THE WEEK
Did you all know that there are seven teams in the NFL that DON'T have cheerleaders in 2022? Giants, Bears, Bills, Browns, Chargers, Packers and Steelers. CRAZY!
This weeks cheerleader I couldn't actually find her name but there are a few things about her that I could determine from just seeing her photo. She likes to work out. She lives in the Dallas area. She's a ton of fun. Very funny. She's #94 and she's very energetic and has a positive attitude.

NFL Week 6 2022 PICKS AGAINST THE EVIL LAS VEGAS POINT SPREAD
Tumblr media
(above: Tyler Lockett has a stroke or something)
If I lived in a state that allowed sports betting I WOULD BET THE UNDER ON BASICALLY ALL SEASON LONG RB RUSHING YARDAGE TOTALS BECAUSE EVERYONE IS HURT OR WILL GET HURT.
49ers at Falcons - 49ers favored by 5 points
It’s here friends. The George Kittle eruption game. I do not buy the Falcons as anything more than a bottom-feeder. 49ers cover bigly.
Patriots at Browns - Browns favored by 2.5
Damien Harris is out this week because he’s a hurt RB so expect HEAPING LOADS OF RHANANDRE STEVENSON OR HOWEVER YOU SPELL HIS NAME. Belichick humiliates another former QB in Jacoby Brisket. Patriots ON THE ROAD ON THE MONEY LINE WITH A ROOKIE.
Jets at Palatial Lambeau - Packers by 7.5
Part of me is tempted to just say Jets on the money line and get real wacky but alas I cannot. Buy it down to 6.5 and the Packers win - this is another case of Actual Pretty Good Team vs Team That May Be Good Kinda But Not Really In the Big Picture. Zach Wilson has sex with someone’s mom post game :-/
Jags at Colts in AFC South Purgatory - Colts by 2.5
Does Jonathan Taylor do stuff this week? Probably. But so does Christian Kirk. This game has weird sneaky shootout potential and I like the Over on 42 points scored. Neither team is actually good, however.
Vikings at Dolphins - Vikings by 3 on the road
The Dolphins are.... doing something.... at QB.... or something.... some guy who is the third stringer behind the Samoan and the black guy with the gloves. Anyway THE DOLPHINS HAVE BEEN EXPOSED AS FRAUDS AND WILL CONTINUE TO BE EXPOSED AS FRAUDS as Justin Jefferson goes ham.
Benglas at Saints - Bengals by 3 on the road
Another yummy heckin dome game with weird teams! The Saints have basically no healthy players at the moment and Olave, if he plays, will get like 20 targets. THEIR WR SITUATION IS THAT DIRE. Bengals.... I guess?
Ravens at Giants - Ravens by 5.5 ON THE ROAD
APOLOGIZE RIGHT NOW TO THE GIANTS HEAD COACH FOR BEING A GOOD COACH. Young fella has to be the front runner for Coach of the Year I reckon. Giants lose but it’s like 24-20ish meaning they cover. Lamar Jackson has a 50 yard TD run. Saquon probably gets hurt. Part and parcel.
Bucs at Steelers - Bucs by a MANLY 9.5 ON THE ROAD
More home dogs for your consideration but please don’t actually consider them. Steelers get rolled on and Young Pickett lives up to his last name and throws a bunch of INTs. Tom Brady mainlines the blood of a four year old on the bench and throws a tablet at his toddler blood supplier for this week’s supply not being up to snuff. Bucs roll.
Panthers at Rams - Rams by 10 points at home
Baker Mayfield isn’t playing this week, not that it matters. Holy fuck the Panthers are a disaster. Another non-competitive ass whooping but this time from a home team. THERE IS NO WAY THE PANTHERS KEEP THIS GAME CLOSE.
Bills at Chiefs
I think everyone in flyover country is expecting a 55-52 shootout or something but alas it’s not to be. I’ll take the Under on 54 points.
