#pandora is Regulus's soulmate and bestie

Hey, I know the Regulus adopts Harry trope is all fun and games and I love it but like you can't honestly tell me that he wouldn't (also) cuasi-adopt Draco, Luna and Neville because like

Are you seriously telling me that Regulus wouldn't be the proud uncle of his favourite cousin's son!? He would probably steal Draco at least twice a week!

That he wouldn't have his bestie's daughter at his house as many days as the year have? He would probably take Luna and Harry on vacations. To the beach or the mountains together they go. And when Pandora died he would offer all the help possible to Xenophilius, and he would tell Luna, just as he does Harry, stories of her mum, and she had always been his Soulmate even though they would never have a romantic relationship. Also he would raise hell the first time he heard about Luna being bullied.

Then whe have Neville, who is such a sweet kid, and after hearing that it was his cousin the one that did that to his parents he can't help but feels guilty. So he goes and apologises to Augusta. And somehow, she had just lost her son, and she feels old, and has found herself raising a toddler. So she accepts his apology, because he's young and somehow he reminds him a little to the boy she lost. So she cries, and is Regulus the one that is there that day and many others. And from that moment on, Neville becomes a common fixture to Regulus's house. There aren't going to be any window child dropping this time around.

And Harry couldn't be happier, it was strange at first. Finding himself suddenly in the care of this man child of wizard. But he feels safe. And loved. Oh so loved. So he never felt jealous when kids started appearing, in fact he is just happy about it all in general. Having a parent, having siblings, and cousin and a sister in all but blood. So he feels content.

Also, Regulus having to send three of his children to Howarts at the same time is just an emotional wreck

Regulus and Sirius having a good bond after they both start to have a life outside of the Black Family home

What made you ship it?

of course, a conversation with yaz. i don't even remember how it started, but we crafted a version of regdora that neither of us will probably ever write, but just makes so much sense. for the most part, i ship them in the way i ship jily, which is to say, they probably dated at some point, but now they're besties and exes and everything's better that way, yk?

however. there is two circumstances where i would love them as an "endgame" ship. one i cannot say. second one i will expand upon below.

2. What are your favorite things about the ship?

they're definitely soulmates on some level, and they sort of give me the vibe of fraser & caitlin/harper in the show we are who we are where they're just like, instantly connected. they've known each other for a week but actually it feels like they've known each other for years. they swear to never ever kiss one another. everyone thinks they're dating but they're adamant they aren't. they're not even sure who they're attracted to in general. they keep looking for love and fulfillment in all the wrong places until EPIPHANY. it's been right in front of them all along, in each other. good god i'm going to write this au at some point, aren't i?

3. Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?

that i even enjoy them remotely as a romantic pairing, i know people tend to see them as strictly platonic & i respect that. pandora's probably the only woman i'd ever ship regulus with, and under specific circumstances, as i've said

NAT OMG! i can't believe your writing, it is so fascinating the way that you make us all feel while we are reading your story. I just love it so much <3 This kind of stories are the main reason i keep reading and they give me motivation to go through with my day.

I really can't stop smiling/crying because of this chapter. It was so full of emotions, i was really going from joy to tearing up in just 2 seconds.

Can we please talk about the way they were all together at night because of the excitement, that was so freaking cute my lil babies. And i can't say i weren't sad about reg and james not spending anytime together before the actual heist, but that lil bit gave me the hint that neither of them was dying on this chapter because they deserve having a goodbye if one of the does eventually fufill the MCD tag (which i still can't quite comprehend, but i love u and your writing so i am trying to be understanding untill the "event" happens). And let's not even begin talking about sirius and james being besties for a minute there, they were made to be platonic soulmates. Whoever, i am still suspicious of sirius (thanks to my trust issues). On the other hand, you literally had no right to make pandora talk about effie??? so uncalled and sad, literally criying, screaming and throwing up about that (james i see u). Still crying over regulus telling james to just shut the fuck up, because i was thinking the exact same thing in that moment. I really hope the police won't catch them while they're getting on the plane, or else i am throwing hands. And please, PLEASE don't let james die cause og the shot he got, i am begging you to let sirius black, for once, be absolutely right about anything, and that being james wound just superficial. please have some mercy on us and let the black brothers keep james potter in this universe </3

It started out really sweet and then,,, so much happened!! So many things !! A lot of them not so sweet hahaha!! All of them being together because of excitement and nerves and everything is so personal to me,, bc every knows how everyone else is feeling and just being together is such a comfort :,))

The mcd will now be referred to as “the event” from here on out hahah! It’s so ominous that way and I love it!!

Sirius and James just have these moments where they click and they just get each other and understand each other when they’re both not trying so hard to figure each other out and those moments >>>>>>> they are soulmates!!
