Pokédex Update:

Cutiefly - the Flower Bee pokemon. A fairy type. This variant looks very different than it's counterpart in the Alola region, and is quite taken with specific flowers. It's butterfly-like wings make it a little clumsy and sporadic, but it appears to enjoy cohabitating around the more remote populations of Flittle.

Notes:

- In spite of being typically known as a bug type, careful research has proven this regional variant is purely a fairy type, and has significantly less predators than its Alolan cousins. The colors of hair on its body look rather similar to Flittle, which possibly suggests this transplanted population comes from a region where Flittle and Espartha are present and have adapted to live in harmony with these cute little imposters. And due to the cohabitation between these pokemon in Paldea, it is believed those in their home region serve as a safety net against this variant's natural enemies.

- The region they come from is unknown. More research is required, but current studies show their presence is not inhibitive of the Paldean ecosystem.

Charcadet Facts

-The scientific name for Charcadet is "Homoignus Parvus" which roughly translates to "Small fire man"

-Archeologists and researchers are still trying to figure out how the differences in armor evolve Charcadet into two different pokemon. A popular theory between them is the suits having commonly been fought around each other, and buried together when the knights die. The biological theory is that everything has an aura, energy, or life energy, and the aura or the energy of the people who wore these armor are still in them, causing evolution

-Charcadet are very smart and hardworking pokemon. They’re known to object to evolution until they, themselves, think they’re ready to evolve. When they think they’re ready, they’ll go on long journeys to find their preferred armor

-Charcadet are known to follow and look up to a dominant Armarouge or Ceruledge, following their orders, and the Armarouge/Ceruledge training them. Sometimes it’ll be their parents, and sometimes it’ll be just a random one they found and liked

-There are many debates on the evolutionary origins on Charcadet. They follow the same origin of "born from coal" as rolycoly but don't seem to be related to them. They share a lot of DNA evidence with humanoid pokemon, which would make them more closely related to humans. This is backed up with them being in the Human-like egg group as well

-In the Paldean form of the game Chess, the pawns are in the shape of Charcadet

-Despite them having a flame at the top of their head, their helmet is rather cool to the touch

-Their mouths are located a bit below their eyes, but they're hard to see because they are very small

-While Charcadet will be fine if their fire goes out (like if they're submerged in water), their helmet can get overheated which can give them headaches

-They're omnivores and prefer fatty berries and fish

-Charcadet seem especially fond of Doliv oil

-Charcadet are very curious pokemon and have been known to approach humans in the wild. Sometimes, they'll even challenge them to a battle
