Tee Tasse immer griff bereit. Naschen, snacken, sind rohe Möhren gut. Die wichtigeste Eigenschaft des Künstlers ist die Fähigkeit alleine zu sein. Mit sich Selbst in bester Gesellschaft. The #antonybridgeartprizeno1 is now over! I have been overwhelmed by the entries. Over 100 entries from the UK and overseas, children all off school in lockdown countries and also schools that are open taking part, thank you. I don’t think Art should be judged so the winner I have chosen if of personal choice which I’ve explained below. Every entry has been a pleasure to view, 3 year olds draw with such beauty and going up through the years this blossoms into other passions and mark making. It has been great to see pupils doing collages and also doing A1 versions of the print out which must of been daunting at that size. I have attached a few other entries that came in, sorry if I missed yours off. I have chose the winning entry from the use of colours, the winner also did 2 versions in different lights which I love to do. Using such bright colours is certainly a challenge and she has worked with her materials beautifully. Well done. Delighted for such a talent to now be the owner of one of my pochade paintings. I can’t literally believe that I’m going to say this, because at first I know that this time will not come, but it has come, that’s why I cant believe this lmaooo but yes I admit that I have improved on doing art. I started doing art journals and drawing things on november 2015, (thanks for every single one who has an art journal here on tumblr, BECAUSE YOU WERE LITERALLY THE REAL SHIT WHY I STARTED DOING ART, AND DOING WHAT I LOVE, I CAN’T THANK YOU ENOUGH) with no literally knowing about anything related to art since 2015. I have no idea how to move my pen, to shade, etc. But I still kept doing it. But then I stopped for like ALMOST a year, and i’ve been practicing since then, until now, I’m still not that good and I’m still not satisfied how my other works turn out but I know that I have improved. But what I can do now could never do of my past self. What I’m trying to point is you gotta have patience, you have to do it if you really love it, YOU HAVE TO PRACTICE, AND PRACTICE. Yes, maybe you’re tired of hearing the “practice advice” but holy shit trust me, it’s the number fucking 1 key, plus having an inspiration like your favorite artists help so much!! There’s no such thing as “born with a talent”. You can always do it if you pursue. You can always do it any fucking time, no matter who you are, how old or young you are. There will be a lot of self hate, tears, frustation, sweat but you just keep doing it okay? Do not lose hope
