I want a man who's taller than me. No. Not for aesthetic purposes or because we'd look good together with the height difference.

It's not a want or a need, it's more like a feeling. Someone who can make my inner child feel safe, inside and out. Because all my life I've been the support pillar, the "caring" one in everyone's life.

I want to be "cared for".

I want to be sat down and told that I don't have to work so hard all the time. I want to be spoilt but not for counting favours later on. I want to have the freedom of choosing any kind of food for my own liking. I want to be bundled up, warm inside and out. I want my heart to feel heavy with love and care the other feels for me. I want to be held. I want to be told that it's okay to lean on someone, even when things are alright. I want someone to listen, to let me curl small in their arms.

I want him to care for me. To make me feel like a person of myself. To prioritise me over anyone else.. even for a fleeting moment.

And I want to be able to be given the space to be vulnerable. The space to be myself for once.

I'll take it even if it's pretend. I'll take it even if it's for a day.

I'll take it even if it's for a moment. . .

I'll take the moment of being 'cared for' and live my entire life 'caring' for everyone.

But I think I'm asking for too much.
