Also, disclaimer: I have no idea how chopping wood goes outside of what I’ve seen in Avengers: Age of Ultron so bear with me please 😅 also, surprise appearance of the rest of the batfam?? Ship: Dick Grayson x GN!Reader

Summary: Being randomly invited to a cabin two hours outside of your boyfriend's home town by a billionaire would sound like the beginning to a horror movie if the billionaire wasn't your boyfriend's dad

You and Dick had been dating for long enough that he felt comfortable to introduce you to the family, as much as he was nervous about it. You two were living in his apartment in Blüdhaven together, but Bruce had invited the two of you to come to the Wayne family cabin that sat about 2 hours outside of Gotham City. 

“We don’t have to go if you don’t want to,” you reassured Dick as you put another shirt in your bag, “I know that you’re nervous about me meeting your family, and it’s usually the person meeting the family that’s nervous.”

“Are you asking because you’re nervous?” He joked, trying to deflect as he packed his own bag that he was taking to the cabin with him. He faltered when he saw you raise an eyebrow at him, sighing as he flops onto the bed on his back. “Alright, ya caught me.” Dick grumbled as you sat next to him, 

“No, really? I had no idea” You chuckled, starting to run your fingers through his hair. “You wanna talk about it?” 

Dick paused as he thought about that for a moment, shrugging. “I don’t want to cancel on Bruce if he’s trying to be normal.” 

“That didn’t answer my question.” 

“…I have a lot of…bad memories in that cabin. I don’t know why Bruce is making it some family vacation spot.” 

“Does he know that you told me about Nightwing?” 

He shakes his head. 

“That could be why, or uh…I don’t know, maybe he’s getting soft in his old age.” You suggested, making him laugh. 

“You’re hilarious. I’m sure they’ll love you.”

“As much as you do?”

“No one can love you as much as I do.” Dick leaned up to kiss you before you stood up again, going back to packing up your bag,

 “Just say the word and we’re out of there, got it?”

“Got it. But what’s the word? Bird?” Dick practically snickered, the grin on his face making your heart feel all warm and fuzzy. 

“How old are you?” You rolled your eyes at him but you couldn’t help but laugh at his goofiness, “but seriously—“

“I know, don’t worry, it’ll be fine. Thank you for worrying about me, though.” He stood up to go back to getting ready, dropping a kiss onto your head as he stepped into the bathroom. 

A few hours and a lot of I Spy later, you two showed up at the cabin, with both of you wearing one of his hoodies. You slipped your hand into his after grabbing your bags from the trunk, walking up to the cabin door. Dick had insisted that the two of you drive here and just meet everyone else at the cabin, which you were sort of grateful for. If he was nervous about you meeting his family, why wouldn’t you be? 

You stood a bit behind him as he knocked, and the man you assumed to be Bruce answered the door. The man loomed in the doorframe, staring down at the two of you with one of the most intimidating auras you’d ever encountered. You were moments away from your heart starting to pound in your chest before you saw what looked like his attempt at smiling. 

“Hello, Dick,” he greeted before turning his gaze to you, “and you must be his new partner, I’m Bruce. It’s nice to meet you, Dick’s told me a lot about you." He extended his hand to shake yours, and his grip was firm but not as tight as you were expecting. Authoritative, yet welcoming. It was an interesting combination to say the least. 

“I am, and uh, thank you. It’s nice to meet you, as well, I see where Dick gets all of his good manners from.” You try to keep the conversation light, and it seemed to be appreciated by both Dick and Bruce. 

“That’s very kind of you, but I’m surprised that you two are the first ones here, I was just about to chop up the firewood for later.”

“Oh, I can take care of that if you want,” you offered, a little desperate to make a good first impression, “it’ll give you guys a bit of time to catch up without me hanging around.”

“I like having you hang around,” Dick spoke up at that moment, his hand gently squeezing yours. 

“You both can go, I have some more preparation to do inside before the others arrive. I’ll take your bags in, though,” Bruce offered, seeing how Dick wasn’t quite ready to be separated from you despite the two of you being in a car together for multiple hours. 

You both gave him your bags before letting Dick lead you over to a big shed that contained all kinds of supplies. 

“We’re not, like…cutting down whole trees, are we?” you asked, which made Dick laugh as he handed you an ax.  “No, of course not, Bruce wouldn’t let me do something like that even if I wanted to. C’mon, I’ll show you.” He continued to lead you back out of the shed to a big pile of logs toward the back of the cabin that was presumably meant for chopping. “Need me to show you how to chop it, too, or are you okay?”

“No, I’m okay,” You started pulling a log from the stack at the same time as Dick, but got more than a little distracted by watching him. The muscles in his arms flexing as he picked up one of the logs, the way the golden hour light glinted over his hair and features in a sort of yellow-y glow. You could honestly stare at him for hours, vaguely wishing that you had the ability to freeze time for moments like these.

“You still with me over there?” Dick called with a teasing grin, waving a hand in front of your face as he held himself back from laughing,

A dark blush flooded your cheeks as you realized you’d probably been staring at him for a while if he noticed, “What?--Yeah, of course.”

“Couldn’t stop staring at my gorgeous face?” He chuckled as he stepped closer, tugging you into his arms.

“What would you say if I told you I wasn’t staring at your face?” You asked with a laugh, a gasp escaping him.

“I had no idea I was with someone with such a dirty mind! You better reel that in before we’re not alone anymore.” Dick dramatically responded, obviously still messing with you.

“I don’t know how I can when I have a boyfriend like you.” You replied in a voice barely above a whisper, making him pause before he leaned down to kiss you like the sappy couple the two of you were.

Bruce eventually chopped the wood instead, seeing as you and Dick were constantly getting distracted by each other, which was entirely normal for newer couples, but not exactly ideal for manual labor. So instead of being outside, you ended your day on the couch in the cabin, curled up next to Dick and talking to his siblings as they arrived one by one.

Please, let’s talk about the werewolf/which hybrid who is in love with Tyler Lockwood

HaHA i knew that would get your attention

So this is mainly a self insert that i created for a couple of reasons

1) 17 seasons of TVDU and not one witch werewolf hybrid??? Missed opportunity you ask me

2) i think Tyler Lockwood needs a love interest that doesn't end in betrayal or death and i for one think my character would be perfect (this is truly a manifestation of my crush on him)

So anyways:

The character's name is Jason Harper. He's introduced in the fourth season as someone from Hayley's past (also adopted, but unaware of being a werewolf) and is suspicious of Hayley's sketchiness. Due to my estimation of Hayley's age, Jason would be maybe a year older than Tyler.

Jason meets and warns Tyler of Hayley, but not early enough to prevent Hayley and Klaus' massacre of Tyler's pack and subsequent murder of his mum. Afterwards, Jason sticks with the MFG, mostly sticking with Tyler, Bonnie and Caroline.

At some point in Season 5 (maybe after Caroline breaks up with Tyler and sleeps with Satan), he accidentally kills someone and triggers his curse. Tyler helps him through his first transition and homoeroticism ensues. Afterwards tho, Jason has full control of his werewolf side due to his magic.

And that is about all the story i have so far.

Jason's magic is mostly based around Elemental Magic but he knows a few ritualistic and complex spells, although that isn't his strong suit. He enjoys using his werewolf powers (Tyler does too) and eventually learns how to use his magic to amplify his wolf powers, as well as drawing upon his werewolf side for Traditional Magic.

In my mind he's either played by Brenton Thwaites or Archie Renaux.

athanasios wilde (ben barnes) is very, very bored, to the point of insanity ⇾ supernatural: an immortal shapeshifter, ath's lived hundreds of lives in hundreds of bodies ⇾ crime: a significant general in his father's crime family, ath is a particularly unsettling kind of ruthless & ideas: another cursed immortal or someone seeking to become immortal, unsuspecting normie drawn into his bullshit

peregrine talbot (brenton thwaites) is extremely polite, but probably making fun of you ⇾ supernatural: a fae prince, beholden to the 'seelies can't lie' rule, perry is fascinated by mortals, occasionally living among them ⇾ slice of life: trust fund kid with a scholar's mind, perry is actually nice, as long as you don't interrupt him & ideas: mortal who falls into the fae realm, supernatural creature who needs his help, classmate from college, friend from the wrong side of the tracks

I have the most ungodly annoying love, lust and desire for Brenton Thwaites to serve me for all eternity.

I finally get a chance to interview him on the set of one of my favorite show Titans on HBO Max.

He enters the room with a signature suave way he walks, a goofy smirk and those tiny luscious lips.

Bidding my time I place the mic on my shirt, watch as the camera crew does the set up, and I prepare for my interview.

Placing my questions down I take a mic so does he and I wink at the camera man to do as I wish.

Happily I start to speak to him asking him a series of inconsequential questions leading to nowhere.

He hits a high one last moment he is finding himself in absolute loss of confusion when his mind numbs.

He can’t do anything but stare back at me with lust in his eyes long gone are the many memories of his life.

A loud snap comes from my hand erupting in a crescendo sending the entirety of the crew into slumber.

III. BIOGRAPHY -- shatter me.

The calming tick, tick of a watch comes close enough to the sound of a metronome (his favorite -- which is stored away somewhere on the attic, forever fucking lost). Maybe that's why watches are the only expensive allowance he grants his father to gift him, which he allows as presents. Hublot. Bucherer. Vacheron Constantin. They all don't quite compare to Bach, Wagner, Haydn. Following the rhythmic tick, tick, doesn't quite feel the same as tapping the keys of a piano. Not that music was his passion, ever. Not that his next obsession, art was -- Munch, Pollock, Rembrandt, and his favorite, Vermeer. The Mauritshuis is gorgeous, and so is Meisje met de parel, but Aaron never finds himself capturing her full beauty, with the looming hand of his father held over his shoulder. Every form of art he chooses to adore, to obsess with, is always followed up with a Let's go. Let's move on.

And so he does.

Aaron always moves on. Until he finds something so sacred, that the words Move on become imaginary. Fake. Fantasy. There's no moving on if his heart is stuck admiring the same piece of art over again -- no, wrong. He finds him in every piece of art. In every song. In every watch, in every color, in every room.

His colorful, chaotic world that was all polished out as he grew, became one, shining sea of color. Gone was the white marble and waxed desks, arrived had the paint sprinkles and mess and -- Rivan.

A sacred, little secret. Some servants find out, but they keep it a secret for him, and Aaron moves through fundraisers, through dinners and banquets, through Highschool, and pre-med, and then medical school. Rivan is somehow always there, and never quite vanishes. No drop of Liberon or Strypit or Colron can get him off -- and Aaron tries, like a madman, tries to get rid of him.

It doesn't work. It never does.

Let's move on becomes please stay, even drenched in the ugliest of all colors, red; even on his knees, next to a body; even on the graveyard, at a funeral. Even on benches in winter, in the sea in summer, in the hospital during a particularly hard shift.

Aaron can't let him go.

But the engagement contract he signs for Freyja yells, screams, LET'S MOVE THE FUCK ON.

the rest of the night was a blur of pain and confusion . he doesn't know how he survived , doesn't know what guardian was looking out for him , but he came away with scars that ran deeper than just his skin . man was now a slave to the moon , a beast buried within him , clawing to get out and bask in the moonlight .

he's learned to live with condition . some time was spent in a pack , but leader was cruel and harsh , so griffin chose a lonelier route . he moved to london with a passion for art , a need to capture as much beauty as he can . and its there he remains , a monster hidden within such a kind man , doodling everything he sees .

“Another summer, another Pirates movie. Brenton Thwaites delivers a surprisingly nuanced performance as James “Henry” Turner, a young Navy lieutenant on the run from his past, particularly in his scenes with Karl Urban’s menacing, predatory Captain Gabriel Stoker. Unlike previous entries in this franchise, the personal stakes are just as high as the seas, with writer/director Jeymes Samuel proving able to interweave quips, combat, and sexual tension into every second of screentime. The plot owes a debt to every Mafia movie that came before it - ‘do you side with your family or the law?’ was trite in the 70s - but seeing Geoffrey Rush as Barbossa again is worth the price of admission alone. Four stars.”

Pirates of the Caribbean: To The Map’s Edge (2016)

“You heard it here first, folks: Jack Sparrow is dead. The iconic character was killed off in the first half hour of this year’s Pirates 6, with rumors abounding as to whether or not he’s coming back for the forthcoming and final seventh film. I think the rest of the movie’s pretty good, focusing on Henry Turner joining up with Gibbs and a new character played by Courtney Eaton named Carina, as they work together to find a mythical trident that might break the curse on Henry’s father Will before the British Navy can get their hands on it first. I thought the plot dragged a little here, I gotta be honest, but appearances by Keira Knightley’s Elizabeth and Zoe Saldana’s Anamaria are always welcome, and Karl Urban’s taken a turn right into ‘bugfuck insane’ with Captain Stoker. I’m gonna give it a seven out of ten - definitely see it, but if you haven’t seen the other two immediately before this one you’ll be lost.”
