Looks like I got stretch marks on my leggys from gaining weight after being chemo underweight beginning of last year. It's not saying a lot, but I'm chunkier than I've ever been. I consider this a huge win after skeleton time. Thinnest I've ever been (skelton) to thickest (lil squishy).

hi everyone! the developer of the website I host Explorerz on is having a hard time covering his monthly costs. i think Comicfury is such a wonderful space for comics and one of the few remaining websites that values art over predatory profiteering. Kyo makes it a point to keep the game level - ads are opt-in, custom css for comics is available to everyone, etc. if you can spare a couple bucks each month (the lowest tier is $3 which shakes up to 36 dollars a year), you’d be preserving one of bastions of creator-centered webcomic culture and helping it continue its growth!

As a paramedic, Ratchet's alt mode in tfp driving around Jasper is hilarious to me.

We usually know who is on what ambulance unit and where the other ambulances are. They have GPS trackers on them/on the ambulance's phone, so dispatch can see where they are. Jasper is a small town, so their EMS/Fire dept is likely small as fuck. So the first responders all likely know each other and what's going on.

NO ONE can track this weird ass ambulance. Dispatch has no idea where it came from.

The other medics in Jasper being like "what fucking unit is that" or "what THE FUCK." There's no department marking or star of life on Ratchet's alt's exterior, but it has lights and sirens. Which is fucking illegal.

The other first responders talk about the Mysterious Unknown ambulance that is OCCASIONALLY spotted like a fucking cryptid. It becomes an inside joke/urban legend.

Calling all Brits on this hellsite.

We all saw Elon Musk do the nazi salute at the Trump inauguration. We know that he is influencing and fanning the flames of right wing political parties.

And that very well may include ours.

Because Elon Musk has pledged to donate $100 million to the Reform party. He has since mentioned that it might be hard to give such a large sum now.

But I don’t think we should take our chances. And I think we can agree that letting billionaires influence our countries politics is a terrible idea.

If you also agree here’s a link to a Parliament petition.

It calls for the government to remove loopholes that allow wealthy foreign individuals to make donations into UK political parties (e.g. by funnelling through UK registered companies).

As it is a parliament petition the government are required to debate it in parliament. But for that to happen it needs to reach 100,000 signatures.

Non British folk I’m afraid you guys can’t sign but I encourage you guys to reblog so that more people can see this.

Keir Starmer currently setting out the plan to ‘unleash’ artificial intelligence across the UK to boost growth.

There’s more than a few issues with this though. It’s almost definitely going to be handed to one of the big 4 consultancies, they’ll use ChatGPT to do a white paper and call it a whopping success.

They’ll maybe extend that to the government quangos who’ll do a similar thing. They’ll talk up AI’s great potential at reducing workloads - only to find that Generative AI only increases them.

Government will continue to not have a clear picture of where its data actually resides, who uses it, and who should and shouldn’t have access to it.

Since Thatcher, the British government has done nothing but chase trends that promise growth and the only thing we have to show for it is a huge cost of living crisis, some of the highest electricity bills in the world, and a massively unequal society.
