Finally MMX Time!!! 👊

I have been looking forward to this workout for weeks! Little did I know that there was so many complex moves and freakin’ sprawls! 😳

But that’s okay because I have trained my body to be able to do this! I don’t think I could have done it in January! That’s why I started with P90X and have worked myself up in the last 10 months…to be able to do a workout like this! 💪

I’m still not perfect. I still don’t do the moves at 100% max. And my balance and form still leaves a lot to be desired. But I’m working on it! That’s more than I can say for the “before me” when I was giving myself every lame excuse in the book not to get my ass off the couch and just move!

I was so scared last year when I decided to make this commitment but I tackled this like I have every else in my journey. I start slow, do what I can, and then push forward. If I fall, I learn from that, and keep moving! I never give up!!!

About 2 more months I will have completed one of the toughest fitness challenges of my life! I’m almost there! And I’m already looking forward to what’s next! 😍

Somewhat unpopular opinion time:

It does actually make sense for Astarion to be shredded. On every level both pre and post vampirism depending on if you think your body is preserved the moment you're changed or not.

Pre vampire Astarion was absolutely taking the time to train for vanity if nothing else. Definitely was a rise and grind shittest Chad you've ever known type that thought anyone not working out at 4 am is a lazy undisciplined bum.

Post vampire Astarion is a dehydrated gymnast on a zero carb diet, who, up until you, was dependent on his looks for survival. Even if you're being his capri sun every night, he's still going to be building muscle from all the shit he does while adventuring.

okay so this is long and likely impacted by my poor memory but I wrote a lot of it down friday night so it’s still somewhat accurate!! but here are my favorite things that went down during gauntlet at the garden (which is still so crazy to not only play msg but sell it out!!)

lou genuinely in distress about the pyrotechnics because brennan repeatedly chose violence hitting them without warning

siobhan rolling a giant dice for world’s biggest box of doom marked out on the floor plus getting the front audience to get their luck all over it

luck failing and rowan having to help out with the roll anyway!
