okay, they're technically not paper pals (alas i could not find paper plates small enough), but they're DCA paper dolls! you can find the image files in the Google Drive below and you can download em, print em out, cut and glue em together, and enjoy!

"All the necessary materials are here on the craft shelf!"

Please do not repost, alter and post, or sell these templates. I made them freely available so everyone can have fun making silly paper dolls!

each DCA has their own printout with all the parts of the dolls. there's also a page of optional silly upgrades, with different styles of faceplates. Each printout comes in a coloured version and a black & white version for friends who want to colour their own DCA paper pal, or for those of us (like me) who lack a colour printer 😂

if you need some help constructing them, i've written up step-by-step instructions with pictures included here (also included the drive linked above!):

i've also temporarily opened up my ask box for questions about the dolls. i will try to get to them as soon as i can!

Interloper: Possessive Peanuts

“Angel, that thing. . .”

You tilt your head back, smiling sweetly up at Dogday. The ‘thing’ in your arms gives him the stink eye.

“Hm? You mean Peanuts?”

Dogday huffs a little. “Yes. . . Peanuts.” Peanuts bares its nonexistent teeth, almost growling as Dogday moves to sit next to you, but under your warm gaze the little toy melts into sweet pantings and airy barks. “He doesn’t like me.”

You boggle Dogday. “What?? How can you say that? Peanuts loves you!”

To prove your point, you hold Peanuts up to Dogday. The pair growl at one another, not that you see your precious Peanuts doing it, just Dogday.

“Well, maybe that’s why.” You tease him. Peanuts snuggles into your chest, looking almost smug. Dogday suddenly wants to grab it in his mouth and rip it to shreds. “You growl at him and knock him around like he’s a ball. I doubt he enjoys it.”

“I enjoy it.”

You laugh. Dogday’s tail starts to wag, but his moment of pride is crushed when Peanuts gives your chin a lick. You immediately coo, kissing on the little dog.

Jealousy curls in Dogday’s gut like a vice.

“I want to throw him over the fence.”

“No!” You cry, holding Peanuts to your cheek as Dogday tries to grab him. Peanuts bites at his hand too, as though trying to protect you from him. “Not my Peanuts!”

Maybe you’re not so innocent, Dogday thinks, watching you nuzzle Peanuts with your silly smirk. Are you trying to make him jealous? The two of you, working together against him?

Dogday will just have to show you why he’s the better companion, in that case. Then maybe you’ll drop this silly game and shower him in kisses instead.

Just ignore how my sketches look so clean, trust me. They STARTED OUT AS SKETCHES... But then i progressively got better at drawing them and my sketches got so clean that they became my infamous Glorified Sketches™.

in the future, do razzle and shrimpo finally be a couple? if so, how did they find feeling for eachother, if not, how come? (i love your art smmm btw)

Yes, the two eventually come to terms with sharing Glisten, and in turn, they learn to tolerate and (occasionally) enjoy each other's company. And after some time... they start considering possibilities. Possibilities of being together. The only real problem is... they're both super stubborn and both suck at being romantic.

Shrimpo: HAAAAAAAAAAAACKK Razzle: Tuu! Ew!

More yapping below cut (I've been itching to talk about these two for so long brooooo):

As ya'll know, Glisten is very romantic. He showers his partners in gifts, he's good at cuddling, he's an amazing kisser, the whole 9 yards. You know what Shrimpo and Razzle have? Nonna that.

Whenever one of them tries to be romantic in any sorta way towards the other, the other is always super unimpressed (because they're so used to how Glisten is). Also, they both are awful at any sort of physical contact, with Razzle trying wayyy to hard and Shrimpo being very bad at physical contact in general. If either of them had any sort of romantic energy at all, they would not be in this situationship lol.

As for Glisten and Dazzle, they are both in the back rooting for them to sort out their situation and kiss already. Glisten is attempting to play matchmaker, but his boyfriends are dense and dumb, so all his subtle hints are flying over their heads. Dazzle tries to be "involved" in pushing them together, but she's so anxious and quiet that nothing she attempts to do works (except for the occasional bump that gets them to touch faces very briefly).

Eventually the two manage to work out their feelings just enough to admit that they feel something past tolerance and even friendship on occasion, but they don't officially get together (yet).

Shrimpo: Hey, Razass. You dropped this.

They get a baby cuz I said so.

This is Ripple, and he's an angrymask kid. He's a stuffed animal crayfish with one of those plastic faces similar to those Labubu dolls. He is horrifically anxious and scared of literally everything. Also he's like, super lanky.

Shrimpo does not like him. He was not directly involved in his creation and does not like how much of a wimp Ripple is. Razzle loves Ripple dearly but they're so loud and obnoxious that Ripple is nervous around him. Ripple's favorite is Dazzle if that wasn't obvious enough lol, she gets him.

Anyways yap sesh over. I will gladly yap about it again. And again. And again. And-
