- um he’s a doctor so you know for a fact that this man is gonna make sure your all health and caught up on your shots. He knows that you hate then but tough shit Ya’know?

- now it’s not really allowed for Law to prescribe you medicine or do your check up due to his professions policy but that doesn’t mean he can’t. But when it comes down to it, Law has to leave it in other doctors hands

- however this is the only thing that law would refuse to let other people do. Even with Law being a doctor he still needs to see one some time so y’all have the same doctor and because of this Law is able to take the shots and other equipment with him

- very rarely do y’all need shot with how much Law keeps you health and all but even then every year or 2 y’all need to draw some blood for documentation purposes and this is the worst out of it all.

- when it comes to shot, Law is barely able keep you from passing out. He tries to make the most comforting environment for y’all, limiting only him in the room to not over whelm you

- luckily Law is soft handed meaning the shot doesn’t hurt but that still doesn’t take the fear away. So while you’re still crying and gasping for air, Law is able to keep his steady and strong grip on you to keep you from kicking or moving

- afterwards Law doesn’t leave you side until you’ve calmed down or tired yourself out. Y’all lay there with your head on his chest and his hand rubbing your back to calm you down. It’s really one of the sweetest thing he can do

- now getting a shot would be the easy one, drawing blood is the hardest one. While getting a shot something is getting put inside of out and with soft hands there would hardly be any pain or anything to worry about. But with blood, stuff is getting taken out of you and this, along with your crying and anxiety is not fun.

- because you work yourself up so much you end up getting light headed easily leading you to pass out. Law tries to take only a little blood at a time but he can’t just stop for and hour then continue. So he tried his best to draw the blood quickly yet slowly enough to try and keep your blood pressure down.

- of course it never works, so law just ends up taking all the blood he needs and let’s you pass out in the process, in the nicest way possible. With you out it much easier seeing how you won’t fight back anymore or stop your breath

- afterward, with you still passed out, he cleans you up and the mess. He washes the blood off your arms and washes the tears and snot from your face, then puts you in your favorite pjs and y’all spend the rest of the day in bed. You definitely need a break afterwards, with all the tension, and Law doesn’t leave your side through it all either

- he knows it can be hard, but he always knows it needs to be done, so to make it up for you he tries his best to heed to your calls to make you feel better

- god he just hates holding you down. The pain he sees you in and the way you rebel against it so much upsets him so much. He knows he can’t do anything about it but seeing you in that state just makes him so upset

- the only thing he can really do is just stand next to you and hold you. Everything you get a shot you always hold Ace’s hand and cry into his chest. You’ve been able to calm down your reactions for a while but that doesn’t mean you don’t stress yourself out

- Ace stays by you the whole time. And afterwards he doesn’t even make you walk. You don’t even leave the doctors seat before your on his back with you legs wrapped around him. His ends up doing everything after that too. Signing papers, setting up the next appointment, driving you home.

- which you end up falling asleep in the car and he carries you to y’all’s bed.

- he lets you sleep for as long as you need and the moment your up he’s by your side once again catering to everything you need.

- a bath, which he gives you a message to release some stress, of course avoiding your sore arm, making some food, putting on a movie, and once your finally able to calm down from the tension and what not he takes you out for ice cream.

- it’s something y’all always do after every doctor appointment whether you get a shot or not. Ace doesn’t like the doctors much either so it’s his way of giving both of y’all a treat.

- but getting your blood drawn is the hardest of course. Y’all literally don’t even do it until the doctor is holding y’all both down. So y’all can be in pain together. So romantic.

- when this happens the doctor doesn’t let y’all leave until Ace is at least ok. Someone need to drive y’all home. And when this happens, even with all your snot and tears, Ace takes you to the closest ice cream place. Something as a treat and to get y’all’s blood sugar up.

- afterwards y’all do nothing. And I mean nothing. The moment y’all get home y’all hit the bed. Not even nothing to change your clothes. Ace even needs time to relax. But Ace happily wraps his arms around you to calm you down and tell you everything’s ok

- shots Ace can handle, but when it comes to drawing blood even Ace needs some time to calm down.

- but Kidd always follows behind you surprisingly without complaining. Throughout the whole doctors visit. But the moment Kidd sees you freaking about a shot you had to get. He’s about the kill the doctor

- how can Kidd just stand there and watch you cry and panic and freak out and not do anything about it. It’s the doctors fault for giving you a shot in the first place and making it hurt

- with Kidd you’ve trained yourself to calm down quick so you can calm Kidd down or else the doctor’s gonna need a doctor. It something you’ve trained yourself to do pretty quickly. Looking at thKie out come of your shots and then the anger from Kidd, Kidd definitely out weights you

- its ok tho, Kidd feels really bad about it afterwards. He’s not too romantic but he does still care about you and feels like a jackass afterwards. He’s suppose to comfort you not make it a bigger deal, so in his own little, weird, boyish way He tries to make you feel better.

- lots of food, physcial touch (not on the arm with the shot of course), baths together, and of course Ice cream. Just like Ace, Kidd loves to get ice cream everything yall have a rough day. Of course, he always like his with a side of hard liquor. but you always stop him knowing that once he starts drinking he won’t stop

- that basically what happens every time. And Kidds very part out of it all is the bath of course. He loves just to lay there and relax with you. To the point where y’all would end up like human prunes.

- and the times where you will fall asleep on his chest is all the more reason to stay in the bath.

- when Kidd finally decides to get out of the bath, he’ll happily wrap you in a towel and carry you to be where y’all would fall asleep. Don’t worry, Kidd loves to take cold bath so y’all aren’t to hot when y’all get to bed. (He likes to warm up with your body heat)

- now when you get your blood drawn, you always end up passing out so luckily it’s the one time you don’t have to worry about Kidd getting angry. He’ll simply place your on his back, drive you back home and places you in bed, where he lays playing with your hair

- he’s just in awe with you terrified you get with needles. And the fact that you end up passing out when you get your blood drawn. You always seem so strong and yet seeing you like this just make him so upset.

- but it’s not like he’ll say it to your face. So for now, in his own ways. Making sure to treat you with care, making sure to hold you in his arms, and making sure you are able to relax after you get a shot

- it’s hard for Kidd to try and understand your pain but he’ll definitely try to make an effort to help you feel better

i would personally love to hear about your manager! my own manager is the son of the owner of the restaraunt and he, as well as his girlfriend and siblings are all trump supporters that NEVER wear masks and when they do they’re worn incorrectly. his girlfriend wears a MESH ONE. by the way the last ask about getting yelled at by trump supporters was me, i just forgot to put my identifier whoopsies! - ❣️

Ok this might be kind of a long one so BUCKLE UP

1. He’s has no respect for pronouns whatsoever and has said some things that are very transphobic

2 of my coworkers are non binary and one of them wanted to have a pin that let people know that or like their pronouns on their apron so they wouldn’t be referred to as she or he. They brought it up to our operations manager and when the operations manager brought it up to the store manager (bad guy, his names jim) he said the idea was stupid and ridiculous and compared it to something the operations manager won’t say because it’s so offensive and she doesn’t want to offend our non-binary coworkers sooo 😳 but then they took it up with the district manager and now if we want we can have our pronouns on our name tag!! And it’s a COMPANY wide policy now so suck on that Jim 🖕🏼

2. He literally talks down to everyone and treats them with no respect (especially female coworkers including myself) today for example he made a coworker cry and even made a customer uncomfortable, and because I’m the LOD I have to report this to our operations manager tomorrow causeeee no way 😐😐 he’s also yelled at me in front of a customer but I didn’t cry cause I’m very 🤨😒😐yeah ok sir and it just makes me mad lmao but yeah he treats no one with respect

3. MAN BABY literally the epitome of managers who don’t really know how to do the regular work of an employee very well and then gets over whelmed when he has to and takes it out on everyone and is like !!! This is stressful we’re so busy grrrr I’m mad and everyone’s just like 🧍🏻‍♀️🧍🏻ok buddy

Full responses of Melville Candidates

I asked candidates for Melville Mayor and Councilor the following 2 questions:

1) Do you accept that human-induced climate change is a major threat to the world's ecosystems and to human society?

2) Do you support the declaration of a climate emergency by the City of Melville?

When sufficient contact details were provided I attempted to contact candidates by email (at least twice), by SMS, phone call and phone message over 1 week.

Their full responses are below. Responses are listed in the order that I received them. I am publishing these based on the assumption that candidates would want their full responses made public - so that any subtleties to their response are not glossed over. However, if any candidates want their responses removed from this page, they should contact me and I will do so immediately.

In the case of Patricia Phelan, her rating is based on her lack of response as well as several public comments and statements she has made - particularly on Facebook.

SEAN AYRES:

“ Dear Andrew Thank you for your email and I appreciate your passion for the environment. I've done research on our current position and I think Melville already has a very clear policy of acknowledging climate change and reducing its own impact (www.melvillecity.com.au/waste-and-environment/environmental-sustainability/climate-change). The City is signed up to the Planet Footprint Environmental Scorekeeping Service to track greenhouse emissions. We are also one of only 4 local governments in WA signed up to the Global Covenant of Mayors for Climate & Energy (https://www.melvillecity.com.au/waste-and-environment/environmental-sustainability/melville-s-emissions). The City is gradually reducing its footprint through renewable energy installations and reducing power use. Advice to Melville residents to reduce their impact is also easily available. The City of Melville is also leading the way in sustainability, with the Urban Forest strategy, a responsible system of waste management after recently changing to FOGO bins, and runs many environmental restoration programs. While I freely acknowledge the importance of the environmental issue I have had considerable experience of the operation of the Melville council over the past 6/ 8 years and in particular how Silcox ( together with the substantial support of the vast majority of his management team ) and the Aubrey cabal created an illusion of being a responsible local govt authority while running their own agenda - this City has suffered from being run in a feudal manner by a punitive duopoly.This council over the past 2 years has had the most complaints to the Local Govt standards panel - the over whelming majority of those complaints directed against our independent councillors.Is the metro council with the most complaints in a 3 year period registered with the Dept of Local Govt - and had over 900 service complaints ( from residents / ratepayers ) registered thru its own system.I suspect you are too young to have much knowledge of WA Inc - I was one of the players that helped reveal to the WA community what had been going on.Be it on a somewhat smaller scale we have a repeat here in Melville - hence my dubbing our situation as Melville Inc.So Andrew, I can to report that our Melville council is a very long way from being honest, open and transparent but they have shown themselves to be very capable of strong punitive action against ratepayers who have dared speak out.For the last 4 years I have been campaigning for an open public inquiry into Melville - it is now history that we got nothing of the sort - we got a sham of Department ‘ authorised ‘ inquiry - I came away from my April 2018 meeting with the 2 authorised inquiry officers with a longer list of what they were NOT going to investigate than what they were.Thank you for responding and in turn later today I will look at your petition.

“ Hi Andrew Thank you for your e-mail. I can tell you are very passionate about the topic. With regards to question 1 I believe natural climate change is also at play. I don't believe anything we do will stop that so we are going to have to find ways to adapt to minimise the effects. I don't support the Council declaring a climate emergency. Australians have already done a lot of heavy lifting and incurred extra expense in the process. When I moved to Perth thirty years ago petrol contained lead and Western Australia had the oldest vehicle fleet in the country. When I wiped the inside of my car window at the end of the week there was a black film and I had been breathing in that pollution all week. There was no recycling bins and everything went to the tip. WA now has a very new fuel efficient fleet. My 4 year old car is very efficient and when I wipe the inside of my window it is clean. Very little goes into my general rubbish bin and I have a full recycling bin each week. Those are just two things that have changed in my micro climate. The world's biggest polluter, the USA, has withdrawn from the Paris treaty and the five countries responsible for most of the plastic going into the oceans are all north of Australia. We should be putting pressure on those countries to adopt measures to cut down on pollution. It is the turn of the populations of those countries to make serious changes. Question 2: No Councillor or Councillor candidate can give unequivocal support for the declaration of a climate emergency in the City of Melville or any other issue for that matter. To do so ahead of the presentation of a report and motions to the Council would require such a Councillor to declare a conflict of interest under the Local Government Act and possibly having to abstain from debating and voting on such motions on the basis that the Councillor has a pre-determined, publicly declared, position or bias on the issue. If I am elected and a report / motion comes before Council on the declaration of a climate emergency, then I will give such a report / motion the proper consideration at that time, without any pre-determined position or bias. In addition to the above responses, I must also express my disappointment in your expressed disinterest in any of the many major issues that have impacted the citizens of the City of Melville over the past decade including: - Building of a wave park (now cancelled) that would have resulted in an environmentally damaging, semi-industrial installation on our precious foreshore.- Excessive building heights and dwelling densities for developments in Canning Bridge resulting in significant traffic congestion & environmental impacts.- City of Melville land speculation activities putting ratepayers’ funds at risk.- Lack of effective community consultation on major projects and community issues.- The need for stronger political leadership on Council. Hi again. I will get to petition today after work as haven’t had access to pc and email. I was thinking too about City of Melville installing more pv solar panels too although WA news is reporting our electricity grid soon will be unable to support increasing generation of electricity from solar panels. My home has both solar pv panels and solar hot water (my husband was an engineer with a solar hot water company.

Host Country Report: The Dominican Republic

The Dominican Republic is a beautiful country located in the Caribbean, surrounded by both the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea, geographically connected to the country of Haiti, and is in the company of other culturally similar Caribbean countries such as Cuba, Puerto Rico, Haiti, Jamaica, Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago, etc. The size of the Dominican Republic is roughly comparable to the size of U.S states Vermont and New Hampshire combined and there is an estimated population of 11 million people as of 2019. The official language is Spanish and the most prominent religion is Roman Catholicism—with about 95% of the population being Roman Catholic according to the CIA World Factbook.

Historically speaking, the Dominican Republic is a country of international significance as it was the first Spanish colony in the western hemisphere of the world. In 1492 Christopher Columbus landed on the island and referred to it as “Hispaniola” or “Little Spain” in English, soon the Spaniards would arrive in Santo Domingo, the current capital of the Dominican Republic. But even before the Spanish colonized the Dominican Republic, the Dominican Republic was inhabited by the Taíno Indians—a group of indigenous people native to the Caribbean who belonged to an even larger group referred to as the Arawak. The Taíno Indians were polytheistic and lived simple lives based on their relationships to their many gods and with the Dominican Republic having been colonized by the Spanish, a predominantly Roman Catholic country, naturally the Dominican Republic was religiously impregnated by Roman Catholicism---forcing the natives to convert. It can be noted that the Dominican Republic retained a high level of Catholicism up until the country fell into the hands of the dictator Trujillo—because during this time the Dominican Republic was being ruled with an “iron fist” which can be seen throughout his 31-year rule. There was a large emphasis on religion during this time up until the Catholic Church, after supporting Trujillo for three decades, decided to withdraw support for the dictator due to the growing disdain towards Trujillo.

Politically, the Dominican Republic has undergone quite the transformation. The current political system in the Dominican Republic is very different from their previous one. Currently, the Dominican Republic is a representative democracy but prior the Dominican Republic was under the rule of the dictator Rafael Leonidas Trujillo Molina, who ruled the country for 31 years until he was assassinated. Trujillo’s rule changed the Dominican Republic forever in the sense that he instituted racist policies that targeted Haitians and Black Dominicans, despite being part Mulatto and Haitian himself… Anyone who went against Trujillo mysteriously disappeared and nay-sayers were often jailed and tortured. In 1962 Trujillo promised free elections, yet, anyone who campaigned against him for the Presidency quickly disappeared or withdrew from the race. This was because during Trujillo’s younger years he formed a gang called “La 42”, this gang would eventually become his group of personal bodyguards who did everything he instructed. And since Trujillo became President, they had little inclination to refuse his requests since La 42 would also benefit greatly. La 42 would lay the groundwork for Trujillo to win his initial presidency in 1930 by taking out the competition using any means necessary to ensure a win for Trujillo. After Trujillo “ran” for President and “won”, Trujillo’s racist and colorist attitude slowly started to show as he would send Haitians back over the Dominican/Haitian border along with dark skinned Dominicans. This was only the beginning of his desire to rid the Dominican Republic of dark-skinned people, soon his Anti-Haitianism would become even more prevalent when he sent the Dominican army to kill over 30 thousand Haitians at the Dominican/Haitian border in 1937.

The entire Trujillo era lead to the internal disdain for Haitians by Dominicans simply due to nationalism and colorism. It’s imperative to mention this part of Dominican history in-depth because it paved the way for modern day colorism to bleed into Dominican society and offers insight into underlying issues that one could face while visiting the Dominican Republic. Although in 2019 it’s not as bad as it was, the effects of colorism on the people of the Dominican Republic can still be seen today through things such as: people developing words to discriminate against/shame darker-skinned Dominicans, the normalization of stereotyping darker skinned Dominicans as low class or poor, the emerging market for skin bleaching creams, and the over-whelming portrayal of only lighter skinned/white looking Dominicans in the media.

Moving onto gender and equality in the Dominican Republic, in 1942 women got the right to vote after a series of constitutional reformations. Politically, the Dominican Republic is a relatively progressive country and in the late 90s the first female quota law was enacted into congress on December 21st, 1997. The law required that at least 25% (later raised to 33%) of elective spots in political parties would be occupied by women. The political tone of the Dominican Republic as of recently is tolerant and progressive, making it not only a beautiful place to visit, but a beautiful place to live.

The Dominican Republic is also known for its cultural aspects such as food, dance, and music. The Dominican Republic is the birthplace of Merengue, a cultural dance and musical style that mixed both European and African ancestry to form a uniquely Dominican product. Merengue music is made using the tambora drum, guiro, saxophone, and an accordion. Food in the Dominican Republic is a big deal just like anywhere else in the world, as most of it is grown locally due to a large population of Dominican’s being subsistence farmers. The national dish of the Dominican Republic is La Bandera—a dish consisting of rice, beans, meat, and salad. The Dominican Republic’s cuisine is also known for their use of sazon/sofrito which is a blend of herbs and spices that is used to season and really highlight the flavor of whatever is being cooked. Much like the people in Spain, Dominicans think that lunch is the most important meal and tend to focus on making that, food is often a sign of peace so it’s common for people in the Dominican Republic to share their food with friends and family. Culturally speaking Dominicans are very proud of their cuisine as it is a blend of the European, Spanish, and Taíno Indian cultures.

hey so HLtA was a rough day for everybody and Vaeth Lavellan has a lot of circular, rambling feelings:

Vaeth feels awful about everything, and she’s super mad that good inquisition kids got dead,

and she’s super frustrated over being trapped in the position of killing wardens who were tricked,

and she’s feeling guilty over surviving because Stroud stayed behind

AND selfishly choosing Stroud to stay behind, rather than Marcher Hero (+ my pal’s BFF), because her reasons were selfish, and if she were being selfless she has no idea who she would have picked

she’s mad she had to make a decision in the first place; up ‘til now she hadn’t really. had to send anyone to their death

this personal version ON TOP of the inquisition soldiers that died? she’s very mad. she’s so mad

and the fade was feckin rough all around

New Fresh Survivor’s Guilt came on the heels of remembering Survivor’s Guilt: Round One ft. Divine Justinia

and Faithstinia even did a reprise

and Solas is being pissy about the wardens, which isn’t making Vaeth’s week any better...

and she had to sit in judgment of Livius Erimond and Ser Ruth,

and for Erimond it had to be execution, but that was what he wanted, so that also pissed Vaeth off

and then Ruth also wanted execution for these really solid, principled reasons, and Vaeth kind of wanted to do right by Ruth, but couldn’t because Ruth’s message runs counter to Vaeth’s own principles: “do better; and that means living in the world”

but she couldn’t really force Ruth to live which also sucks

AND TO TOP IT ALL OFF, she’s having some kind of crisis of faith

the night is dark and full of horrors etc etc, and she just heard her clan is in trouble, and being in the fade was. whelming, and talking to the Divine, and talking to Leliana and Josie and Cass about the Divine, and

the whole herald thing is starting to lay real heavy on her head

and she had this conversation with varric shortly before they headed out that was. man

This “being a human religious figure” thing is really complicated and confusing, and weighing lives sucks, and war super duper sucks, and demons suck, and Vaeth wants to go home? A lot???

but she also doesn’t. she also feels really good being here and being responsible for all these people and decisions, and she feels weird and conflicted about that

side notes.

she has zero certainty wrt the true nature of Faithstinia, but she kind of thinks it doesn’t matter? If she is a lie, she’s a mirror image; indistinguishable from the truth she reflects.

the nightmare’s lair was full of negativity. also, there were these statues that gave off this impression, and long story short Vaeth kind of suspects that the Nightmare was originally born as some kind of Alamarri spirit of courage or perseverance during the first blight? And if so, it’s sort of the kind she favors? So that’s another layer of weird betrayal-y feelings and thwarted intentions.

anyway, the drivers behind it are kind of muddled, but here’s another turning point where once again Vaeth is letting people call her the Herald, because to deny it would be spiteful, and besides she doesn’t feel qualified to decide one way or the other. But she feels like a Bad Dalish (in a clan that some other clans might already call flat-ears for their human-friendly policy), and she feels like a liar, and she feels like...

Well, if Faith is Justinia even if she’s Faith, because she thinks and acts as Justinia, so there’s no meaningful distinction --

By that same token, could Vaeth really be some kind of divine Herald?

But that’s a weird and uncomfortable and highly burdening thought. Vaeth hopes there’ll be time to talk all this stuff over with someone less biased than Giselle or Cassandra or Josie. Like Solas. Maybe he’s seen stories in the fade that can help her understand what she should be doing. Kinder ones than they saw in the Nightmare’s Lair.

Adding a read more cut because there’s a lot here, I don’t don’t mean in questions. Also, a lot of ranting/depreciation of Maverick, because freaking Maverick.

1) How old were you when you first starting writing fanfiction?

Young. I can distinctly remember trying to write a Cars fanfictionback in the day (I was 11 in ‘06). But I was doing it even youngerthan that with Jimmy Neutron and Timmy Turner. The Jimmy Timmy Power Hour (which premiered in ‘04) did wonderful things to my imagination, and in tandem, young writer senses.

2) What fandoms do you write for and do you have a particularfavourite if you write for more than one?

At the moment, mostly Mega Man with the Mega AU (a personal project that I started 4 years ago this month). I’d really liketo focus more on Sonic the Hedgehog though, maybe even Kingdom Hearts(my sisters and I have been playing it a lot recently and somany ideas are coming back).

3) Do you prefer writing OC’s or reader inserts? Explain youranswer.

OCs. I did try writing reader inserts long, long ago and justnever got the hang of it. I figure though, if I ever really wanted towrite it, then I’d go for a first person perspective from an OC, thenafter writing take out the references to the OC and exchange it forthe vocab expected in inserts.

4) What is your favourite genre to write for?

I’d like to pretend that I don’t really go with any one genre, butmy FanFiction page will tell you Friendship. Maybe some humor. Alsohurt/comfort.

5) If you had to choose a favourite out of all of your multichaptered stories, which would it be and why?

For Archives Only/Maria. While I do wish it was longer, I love howit ended up as is. The structure goes from different perspectives ina way that isn’t hard to commune who is who, the relationship betweenShadow and Maria is still sweet, kinda ship bait,and not too forced, and it just ends in a way that just keeps mesatisfied. I don’t remember writing it now, not really, so it’s notlike I can say remember writing each chapter with specific purposeand when I revisit it, it’s like reading someone else’s story thathas developed over time in its own little obscurity. I think of itevery now and again.

6) If you had to delete one of your stories and never speak ofit again, which would it be and why?

Maverick. And that’s all that needs to be said about it.

(however, on a kinda relevant note, I also have a personalpolicy of never deleting a story even when a new revision is madebecause it’s kinda like a mark of progress. Besides, someone outthere probably likes the trash version, and nothing’s morefrustrating than trying to find a fic you like that just disappearedovernight)

7) When is your preferred time to write?

Pretty much the time I’m awake? Maybe closer to noon, but itdefinitely varies throughout the day- I don’t have a set time, I justdo it.

8) Where do you take your inspiration from?

Everywhere? No where? Some times even my dreams. My brain does notshut off, help me.

13) Who is yourleast favourite character to write for? Why?

I… don’t think…I have… a least favorite…? I do know that some charactersare harder for me to write, but it’s not because they’re my leastfavorite. It’s more of an overwhelming sense of trying to portraythem right that I end up not writing them at all. It’s confusing.

18) Do you haveany abandoned WIP’s? What made you abandon them?

What good writerdoesn’t have a WIP graveyard I ask of ye? Most of mine come from adissolved interest, mixed with a writer’s block that likely came fromthat disinterest. One other factor is that I usually image justscenes with no context. Very vivid scenes too, mind you. OnceI get that scene out, I’m fulfilled. I don’t want to give it anymorecontext than that. I might improve on it later, but I’m not going toforce a full story for it that just doesn’t exist.

One more factor: Ijust grew out of the story and the thing I was writing for, see theold Neopets fics.

20) Are there anystories that you wished you’d ended differently?

Maverick. Pardon theGerman, but holy shit Maverick. Thankfully, I’m veryslowly working on it.

21) Tell me aboutanother writer(s) who you admire? What is it about them that youadmire?

For fanfic writers,a lot of the ones I loved have since disappeared in the span of ayear or so. I don’t really try to keep tabs on certain authorsbecause of this and because of my own reluctant to read other fics tobegin with. I simply don’t know a lot of fanfic writers to admire.

For publishedauthors, I really appreciate Julie Hearn. She has several works thatclassify as 'historical fiction/mystery’ I guess you could say. Realworld issues like innocent women being declared witches in oldEngland but with real fairies and sprites roaming about (TheMerrybegot/The Minister’s Daughter), or a young boy helping hiscancer-surviving mother 'unpack’ things with his grandmother whileusing a gap in time to help a 'fairy child’ from being collected 'theunusual way’ by a grave hunter (Follow me Down/Sign of the Raven).Her stories are written so beautifully, and sometimes hold a mysterythat still can’t be deciphered by the 10th read, butdoesn’t make you feel under (or over) whelmed (I refer to Hazel onthis one, which is also the sequel to Ivy- which I haven’t read yetbut really want to).

Scripted Destiny (Chapter 1)

Summary: On her 17th birthday, her destiny will reveal itself. On that day, the first words of her one true love would mark her skin forever. And when she finally gets the courage to actually see the writing, she cringes, because on her shoulder blade it says, “(mouthed) above us only sky.” Now what?

Kara and Lena have always meant to be together but it’s never that easy, isn’t it?

“Kara, breakfast is ready!”

Kara groaned from under her comforter. Usually the thought of food would jump start her body to get out of bed and run downstairs and she had never been one to find it hard to get up in the morning but today was different, today wasn’t like any other day and she needed a moment to just breathe and assure herself that everything would be okay.

It was her 17th birthday. The day that was supposed to determine the rest of her life. She was finally gonna get those writings on her body; her destiny scripted in black ink that was gonna stay with her forever. She was gonna find out the first words of her soulmate.

It was all so peculiar and strange, that hadn’t escaped her mind. She hadn’t cared that much about the whole system of it. She really couldn’t understand how someone, something, or whatever it was out there, the so called transcendent, could actually come up with such confusing method.

It was nice, obviously, to get a helping hand on finding your one true love. But an exchange or returned policy might be required, that if you happened to have your body inked with such incredulous words, you’d have the option to have them removed.

Kara had seen some of the most ridiculous things people had tattooed permanently on their bodies. For instance…Eliza, oh God. She loved her adoptive parents dearly, couldn’t ask for better people in place for her lost family but seriously, the woman who had loved her like she was indeed her biological daughter was unfortunate because the first words her one true love had uttered to her was, ‘Susan, this salad is soggy as fuck!’

Stating the obvious, Jeremiah had been so drunk on the night he met Eliza. They were at some frat party and the man just stumbled his way toward Eliza and then started shouting that line. Hell, till this day, he didn’t even think a Susan ever exist in his life. See, something like that, what if Kara ended up with something as crazy as that?

Still, she believed in the system. She could easily see how much they love each other; it just warmed her heart every day of her life. And the love they had given her, it was nothing less than magical. So, God or Cupid or that Chinese guy with his red strings, they surely knew what they were doing. Yet, wouldn’t it be fun to just be able to choose for herself?

Kara sighed. If only she had a choice, she knew for sure that she wouldn’t need to look too hard because as far as she could remember, her heart had fallen for a certain raven haired beauty that happened to be…

“Kara, you’re going to be late, sweetheart!”

Kara groaned once more. Guess there was no escaping the inevitable now. She threw her comforter away and moved to sit on the edge of her bed. That was when she first felt it, this weird itch on her right shoulder blade. During the night, she could actually feel a light and unfamiliar force pushing down on her, especially on her shoulder area. But she had decided to ignore it and force herself to sleep.

No use of crying over spilled milk, they say. What’s done is done. She knew where to search in the morning. It was morning already, yet she was actually afraid to look. Afraid, excited, horrified, worried, hopeful…over-whelmed would be best. She shook her silly thoughts away, getting up from her bed and making her way to the bathroom.

Once inside, she stood in front of the mirror, gazing intensely at her reflection, regulating her breathing. Okay, you can do this. She made up her mind, nodding her head firmly, continuing on her inner pep talk. She took one last glance at herself and upon seeing the signature crinkle between her eyebrows, the very one Alex liked to poke ardently, she narrowed her eyes.

“Crinkle or no crinkle, you’re doing this, Kara Danvers. Let’s just rip the band aid and move on!”

She nodded once more in resolution. She then grabbed the hem of her t-shirt and in one fluid motion, bared herself open.

She fixed her gaze at the reflection of her face, afraid to see other body parts. She closed her eyes slowly, taking in deep breaths. With one last long breath, she flipped her body around. She opened her eyes carefully before she finally glanced over her shoulder, fixating her line of sight right at her shoulder blade.

One other funny thing about the tattoo, even if you were to look at it through a reflection of a mirror, you wouldn’t see it backward. It would be just like normal writing. Now, that must be magic. Okay, no, focus Kara. Read the words. No more stalling, no more delaying. She narrowed her eyes, reading the blank ink writings sensibly.

She went over it several times and every time she got even more confused. She could feel a cringe forming on her facial feature, because there, on her shoulder blade, it said ‘(mouthed) above us only sky.’ Okay, so it wasn’t so bad. But what was up with the parenthesis? It seemed like something out of some fanfictions Kara liked to read sometimes. Well not sometimes, most of the time really, but that was beside the point. Kara huffed in frustration, shaking her head.

Now what?

Kara trudged toward her locker, hands gripping hard on the straps of her backpack. She bowed her head down a bit, avoiding eye contact. But she already knew that she could never avoid…

“Kara!”

Her loud and overly eager best friend, Lucy Lane.

She huffed and puffed. She felt like it was all she could do that day. She refused to look back, she knew her best friend was coming her way, so why bother? She then felt a tight grip around her shoulder and she blew a strand of hair away from her face. “Hello, my dear friend Lucy.”

“Ah, come on, it’s your fateful day, why are you being grumpy? I thought you’d be ecstatic!” The shorter girl chimed carelessly, matching her stride with Kara’s much slower pace.

“Well, apparently having a bit of your future revealed doesn’t magically make you feel so assured of the path you’d need to take from that day on.” Kara countered dejectedly, pushing her glasses up her nose.

“Yeah, because that would be so fun…” Lucy scoffed sarcastically, still smiling widely. “So, you’re ready for your party?”

“Aren’t you supposed to make that a surprise or something?” Kara remarked, arching her eyebrows challengingly.

Lucy frowned, jutting out her lips. “Aw shit, you’re right, my bad. Don’t tell Winn or James that I’ve spilled the beans, they’ve been…”

Kara arched her eyebrows, gazing at Lucy with a knowing look.

“Ah, right, shutting up now.” Lucy had the courtesy to bow her head down in embarrassment, making a zipping line across her lips and throwing away the imaginary key.

Kara’s smile widened. Despite the looming uncertainty burdening her ever since she had gazed at her tattoo that morning, she would never forget to just take a second and stop every day to cherish the life she had been fortunate enough to build in Midvale. She had been so lucky with her adoptive parents, with her protective and adoring sister and with all the friends she had found that she was sure would stay as her family for years to come.

Sure, it might have been a naïve thought, to believe in such constant when life could be so unpredictable as to change the course of one’s direction overnight, without any warning, without any consideration. But for now she wanted to believe that the friendship she had with her group of friends would be something that last for a lifetime.

“You are something else, Lucy…”

“Tell me something I don’t know, Danvers…” Lucy remarked with an exaggerated flip of hair.

Kara laughed at her best friend’s antic, nudging her shoulder against Lucy’s as they continued to walk toward her locker.

“Have you seen it yet?”

Kara rolled her eyes again, knowing all too well how Lucy could never be patient. “Of course I’ve seen it, Luce.”

“So…?”

“So what?”

“Does it say something totally stupid?”

“Not really…”

“It’s something crude, isn’t it? Totally vulgar…”

“Nope…”

“Then what is it? Tell me!” Lucy exclaimed childishly, tugging on her friend excitedly.

“Nah uh, I’m not telling.” Kara disclosed, snickering at her friend’s enthusiasm.

“Come on, Karaaaaa…” Lucy whined, pulling at the sleeve of Kara’s.

Kara grunted dramatically. “Let go of me, crazy woman.” She emphasized by wiggling her arm out of the petite girl’s grip. “When you get yours, you’ll understand why you would want to keep it private.”

“That’s gonna take months! You know how impatient I am!” Lucy huffed, crossing her arms over her chest.

“I’m sure you’ll survive, Luce.” Kara shrugged nonchalantly, casting her gaze forward. And that was when her breath got stuck on her throat. That was when she caught sight of the girl who had been haunting her thoughts and dreams. “Oh, god…”

“What?” Lucy perked up, easily forgetting her disappointment. When her eyes landed at what or more specifically who Kara was looking at, a big mischievous grin once again painted her lips. “Lena!”

Kara widened her eyes in horror, her muscles felt stiff, and her heart would soon fail her. “What the…Luce!” She hissed at her best friend, scowling.

“That’s what you get for not telling me what I want to know.” Lucy chimed coolly, winking mischievously.

“You’re so…ugh!” Kara screeched under her breath, narrowing her eyes, fixing her deadly stare at Lucy, who was obviously ignoring said threat. It’s not like Kara Danvers had been known to possess any scary bones in her body. It was definitely fun to see her try though.

Kara really couldn’t believe her best friend, Lucy knew how she felt toward Lena, and she should have known better not to put her in this position. Kara tended to lose all of her wit and intelligible words whenever the girl was around. Who wouldn’t? The girl was so smart and kind and patient and funny and oh so pretty and Kara was only human.

Kara adored Lena. That much she would admit. She couldn’t deny it even if she wanted to. She couldn’t just erase the feelings she had just because those were somewhat against the ‘system’. She couldn’t just shake off some things that felt so right, pure and iridescent. She was allowed to revel in her raw and honest emotions, just as long as she kept them inside. As long as she didn’t say it out loud.

In her dreams and wishful thinking, Lena would be the one. And for now, that was enough for Kara. Even though deep down, she wished for more. She reprimanded herself internally, shaking off her thoughts, focusing her attention toward the girl who was quickly closing the gap in between them.

She gazed fondly at Lena, at everything that she was. Her long raven hair, her wide dazzling smile, her plump lips, the way her arms swinging by her side while she was walking, as if they were dancing on air, the way her steps seemed to be light, as if she was bouncing and how this certain mien of kindness and warmth seemed to exude out of her so elegantly.

Elegance would be the word that best fit the girl but then again, Kara didn’t think that any word was worthy of Lena’s presence. Yeah, she had it bad, no need to point that out even more.

“Stop drooling there, Danvers…”

“Huh?” Kara’s eyes flitted up, scolding herself internally for dozing off in her dreamland once more. And just then she realized that Lena was already standing right in front of her. She gulped subtly, or what she hoped to be subtle. Get yourself together, Kara!

“Hey, Lucy…” The green-eyed girl greeted evenly and then she swiftly shifted her gaze toward Kara. She smiled fondly, to Kara’s mind; Lena’s eyes seemed to sparkle at the sight of her. Pfft, in your dream, Danvers. “Hey, Kara…” Kara could’ve sworn that her tone got softer and the expression directed to her was much more serene.

Kara blinked, once…twice before she finally registered that Lucy was nudging on her side. And of course, she had made a fool out of herself. “Hi…” She uttered, trembled. She cleared her throat, straightening out her posture. “Hi, Lena.”

Lena tilted her head, posing that smile that was somewhat smug and self-assured but Kara knew it was never in bad taste. Kara thought that it was just so unfair how easy it was for Lena to render her speechless with only a smile. It was unfair how she didn’t mind because…Lena.

Unbeknownst to Kara, Lena had had doubts of her own. She would never understand why Kara had always seemed nervous around her, but she found it cute nonetheless. She found anything about Kara intriguing and peculiar. It was like… Kara was someone she would love to just know better and better.

Lena had her reasons, of course. She had always felt gravitated toward Kara and she never questioned it because she knew exactly why she was drawn to Kara. But she couldn’t let anyone know about it. It was not something she would want to share to anyone just because…the feeling she had for Kara, it was almost sacred to her.

If only she knew…

“So, I hear this is your big day?” Lena inquired tentatively, even though she already knew the answer.

“Um…” Kara gulped. “Yeah, it is.” She tucked strand of hair behind her ear, dropping her gaze toward the floor.

“Are you excited about it?” Lena probed, curiosity got the best of her. Whoever got to be Kara’s soulmate…they would be the luckiest person in the world, Lena believed. And oh how much she wished that it was her.

“Uh…”

Kara didn’t even get the chance to respond properly because her best friend decided to take the opportunity to further embarrass her. “Sure, she is!” Lucy exclaimed over-excitedly, pulling Kara against her body by hugging her shoulders from the side. “And we’re gonna celebrate it tonight, this champ sure deserves some flair and extravagant party!” The brunette emphasized her enthusiasm by ruffling Kara’s hair like she was a little kid.

Kara forced a rather awkward smile to paint her face because really what else could she do. Though she was sure that her subtle glare, as if saying “You’re dead. You’re so dead,” was not missed by her best friend. But of course, the girl could care less. She was on a mission and that mission consisted of making sure that Kara would die out of heart palpitation or a stroke, because being around Lena for too long did just all that, paralyzing yet thrilling.

And when Kara thought that it couldn’t get any worse…

“You should come, Luthor!”

“Really?” The pale-skinned girl perked up, quickly turning her attention back to Kara. “Is that okay, Kara?”

“Um… Yeah… Sure. I’d be happy if you come.” Kara offered a tight smile, hoping that her heart wouldn’t burst out of her chest. It’s not like she didn’t think of inviting Lena in the first place, it was just that…the probability of her eating kale for a year was much more palpable than her actually plucking up the courage to invite Lena to anything. She’d feel like imposing and she knew how busy Lena was with her after school activities. “If you’re not too busy with dance practice…”

“No, no, I’m not. Thank you…”

“Excellent!” Lucy yelled merrily, tugging Kara even tighter against her body. “I’ll text you the time and place. It’d be a blast!”

Lena nodded her head in satisfaction. “I can’t wait!” She beamed from ear to ear, dropping her gaze just for a little while before she finally addressed Kara one more time. “I guess I’ll see you later, Kara.”

Lucy nudged out of her trance, yet again, fully enjoying how flabbergasted her friend was. And Kara questioned why she was friend with Lucy in the first place. “Yeah, see you, Lena…” Kara stammered, fiddling with her glasses.

Lena offered the duo a small wave and an unfaltering smile as she continued to stroll along the hallway and when she was finally far enough, Kara swiftly shoved her best friend away. “What’s wrong with you, Luce?” She hissed through gritted teeth, narrowing her eyes in menace.

“What?” Lucy lifted her hands in the air, feigning innocence.

“You know what! Why did you invite Lena?” Kara spluttered, exasperated.

Lucy rolled her eyes upward, scoffing. “Ah come on, I did you a favor there. You’ve been in love with this girl forever! And for all I know, she could be your soulmate. I merely seized an opportunity. Don’t tell me you don’t want her to come…”

“Of course I do but…”

“But what?”

“You could at least discuss it with me first, you don’t even know the words scripted on my body…”

“And whose fault is that?”

“Luce…” Kara sighed in desperation, bowing her head down. “You don’t get it, do you? This is not how it’s supposed to be… She’s…”

“She’s what?”

Kara closed her eyes, drowning herself in fragments of memories, letting the first memory of Lena engulfed her in a sweet yet afflicting reminiscence. It had been a Tuesday afternoon, the day she first laid eyes on those warm emerald orbs and a mesmerizing smile.

“Kara, wipe those tables, will you?”

The blonde promptly adhered to the request, huffing out of tiredness. It was certainly a busy day and two of her coworkers had decided to call in sick, hence leaving her running around the coffee shop with little to no time to catch her breath. But she wasn’t complaining, she was rather glad that she didn’t have to man the station. Greeting customer after customer with the same mundane line accompanied with a cheerful smile was becoming too much.

She was focusing with the task at hand but from the corner of her eye, she could see someone approaching her. She flipped her head to the right and then she saw her, the girl who took her breath away, quite literally. Everything felt like they were moving in slow motion. It felt like as Kara was observing the littlest detail on the girl’s face, time just stood still and the next thing she knew was that she got jolted back to reality by warm and soft palm resting on her forearm.

“Talk to me…” The stranger said.

Kara blinked in confusion, mouth slightly agape. “Come again?”

“There’s this guy following me from across the street and he’s so annoying. I can’t seem to shake him off. I think maybe it’s because I’m alone.” The stranger muttered under her breath before she looked over her shoulder. She turned her gaze back to Kara with a pleading look on her face. “So please, talk to me and pretend that we’re old friends or something, maybe then he’ll leave me alone…”

Kara saw the desperation in those bright eyes (those ridiculously captivating eyes) and somehow, she felt like those eyes weren’t able to convey anything but warmth, honesty, and kindness. It was the very first ever Kara felt that she wasn’t being judged or patronized under a gaze of a stranger. She loved the feeling and so she decided to play along.

“Oh my God! I haven’t seen you in ages!” Kara exclaimed over-excitedly, hugging the girl with as much as conviction she could muster. As her rested her chin on the girl’s shoulder, her line of sight fell on a guy who just entered the coffee and was seemingly in search of someone. When Kara made eye contact with him, she knew that that was the guy this stranger she was currently holding, talked about. That Lord guy, of course.

A stranger, yet holding her felt right. And the feeling that the girl was holding her back in the same manner, clinging into her tightly as if she never wanted to let go, gave Kara an abrupt jolt of unfamiliar force striking her whole body. Conflicted and confused, she decided to pull away, afraid that she wouldn’t find the strength to let go if they hugged any longer.

She then continued to hold the girl by her upper arms, gazing at her thoughtfully, smiling genuinely as she started talking aimlessly, about anything that was on top of her head, about nothing in particular. It lasted several minutes, or maybe even hours, she wasn’t sure. But when she glanced over the girl’s shoulder, she could see how Maxwell had lost his patience and moved to get out of the store.

She sighed in relief, watching through the window as he crossed the street and was eventually out of sight. She looked back at the girl standing before her, enthralled once again by her spellbinding eyes. She dropped her hands to her side and soon missed the feeling of touching the girl she knew nothing about.

“Is he gone?”

“Yeah…” Kara hastily nodded, eyes flitting downward, her confidence suddenly faltered under the intense gaze.

“Oh thank God!” The girl remarked, wiping an imaginary sweat off of her forehead. “I thought I’m gonna be stuck with him for the rest of the day. I mean, can a girl just explore the town in peace?” She disclosed rhetorically.

Kara connected the dots rather easily and given the fact that she had never seen her before that day, she was sure that her assumption would be proven right. “You’re new here?”

“Mhm…” The girl nodded enthusiastically, smiling widely. “Well not necessarily. I used to come here a lot when I was little to visit my grandma but I’ve never been back here ever since she passed away 6 years ago.”

“I’m sorry to hear that…”

“That’s okay, it’s been a while. But I do miss her a lot and coming back here, it brings a lot of fond memories of her. She was the best part of my childhood.”

Kara watched the girl talk reverently, not wanting to miss anything. The way her eyes lit up, the way her face marred by nostalgia, the way her whole being seemed to ooze with utter quietude. It was enchanting.

But then the girl stopped in her track, realization painting her face. “Oh my, I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to talk your ears off…”

Kara quickly shook her head, trying to smile her sincerest smile. “I don’t mind, I like seeing the way you talk about your grandma. She must have been a really special soul.”

“She really was…” The girl agreed, seemingly dazed for a second but then she swiftly regained her bearing, standing even straighter. “So yeah, now my parents decided that they want to spend their old days here. With my brother taking over the company and the fact that Metropolis had worn them down too much, it’s only logical.”

“I see. And what do you think of the town so far?” Kara probed. She didn’t want the interaction to end just yet.

“I find it to be quite charming and mysterious, much as the people I’ve met so far.” The girl disclosed tentatively, tilting her head to the side, looking at Kara attentively, hoping that Kara would get the underlying message.

“Ah yes, Lord is indeed charming.” Kara countered sarcastically, teasing the girl. She knew that the girl was referring to her, but since she had never been good with compliments, she chose to brush it off with a joke.

“Lord?” The girl arched her eyebrows, confused.

“The guy who followed you here…”

The girl scrunched up her face in mock disgust. “Ugh, I wasn’t talking about him.”

“I know.” Kara uttered knowingly, a confident smile painting her face. The girl chuckled and Kara was sure that it was the cutest sound she had ever heard her entire life. She wouldn’t mind listening to it forever.

“You’re definitely something different, oh my blue eyed savior…” The girl retorted resolutely, shaking her head, her smile never ceased to paint her lips.

Kara should say something to that, she wanted to say something to that, but before she even got a chance to formulate a decent reply, a ringtone disrupted their fleeting encounter. And Kara sighed once more, out of relief or regret, she did not know.

“Ah, sorry.” The girl said, smiling apologetically. She fished the phone out of her pocket. Upon seeing who was calling her, she turned her attention back to Kara. “It’s my dad. I think he wants me to get home…”

“Sure, it’s okay…” Kara affirmed, eyes looking over the girl’s shoulder. “I think my boss would also appreciate me going back behind the counter and help him face all the caffeine freaks.”

“As you should, caffeine freaks could get out of control in no time.” The girl quipped lightly, wringing her hands together. “Anyway, I do need to go. Thank you for saving me…” She said with sincerity lacing her voice. She began to step backward, moving away from Kara.

“Anytime, my strange lady…” Kara offered a small bow, smirking mischievously.

The girl giggled, shaking her head. She was about to turn her body around when she finally realized something. “Ah, I’m Lena by the way…” She shouted from across the room, offering Kara yet another warm smile.

“I’m Kara…”

“I hope to see you again, Kara…”

“Earth to Kara!”

“Huh?”

“God, you gotta stop with this whole daydreaming thing. Why are you so weird?” Lucy mocked relentlessly, but Kara knew it was out of unconditional affection.

“Uh, sorry. I just remembered something.” Kara explained weakly, the truth dawning hard on her, yet again.

“So…” Lucy trailed off, aching for an answer. “She’s what, Kar?”

Kara casted a longing gaze to the retreating back down the hallway, of a girl she would never call her own. Until Lena turned a corner and truly out of her sight. Kara sighed in desperation before she said the line that was crushing every bit of hope in her.

“She’s not the one…”

Honestly, this is a pretty good explanation of why I’m such a small-c conservative elitist anti-populist.

There are a lot of things that are in current policy but are not actually terribly popular. This is because we specifically designed a system to keep people from getting their way when they’re being dumb.

A responsive political system will implement a bunch of dumb and bad policies, because people like them. That’s why we need (and have) a system that mostly ignores what most people want.

I’m not sure how this followed from the post it was under, but it certainly deserves reply. Too many libertarians or other people who want to limit government think a slow and inefficient legislating process is the way to do this.

This is tempting but could not be farther from the truth.

No matter how perfect your law-making process is, things change. Your population changes, technology develops, and really all aspects of the situation you made your laws in change. (More realistically, some laws will be mistakes, or need fixes.)

If you want a lean government, then it must be capable of repealing or modifying these laws. Because there was some interest group behind whatever law passes (and new incumbent rent-seekers), repeal is rarely going to have a super-majority of support. So to remove laws that are now bad ideas, you need the law-making process to be easy.

As the AHCA mess is showing up, repealing/modifying laws and passing new laws actually look a lot alike.

(You might say your ideal government has a slow law-making process, but every law can be repealed by a simple majority. This is not a surefire solution. 1) It’s another thing to get people to sign onto in making your republic, 2) Very often a full repeal would be disastrous, you just want significant modification which is indistinguishable from a new law, and 3) the next problem below.)

Even ignoring the repeal-necessity, the game theory of legislative incentives change when laws can’t be passed easily. Everyone knows laws are passed rarely, so a new possible direction for policy (like a healthcare program) only happens when the demand is over-whelming, and most of the lawmakers know this. They know it will be their one shot to shape healthcare policy for a generation, so there’s demand to stuff everything in it they can. This creates stochastic lawmaking (rare but big stepwise changes), and is highly dysfunctional.

Instead you want an agile legislature. If lawmakers and interest groups know that even if they fail this year, there will be another realistic chance to pass a bill next year, there will be less insane commitment to imperfect bills because it’s their only chance. There will also be more laws that are small trials to see how well something works (that can be modified later) rather than the realistic insistence that you need to pass everything you might ever want now.

All of which is only focused on the libertarian costs of slow lawmaking. It’s even worse once you consider the price of all the laws that were a good idea that never happened or took too many years.

When you compare the US Gov to other developed democracies, we don’t really have less government than them despite our burdensome lawmaking process. We just have much worse government, that lacks good things a majority of the country would like to have and work well elsewhere, but has a lot of laws that we can’t repeal despite finding out they were probably bad ideas.

11th September 2016 0759 hours

My voices have just spent much of the night claiming I had done something wrong to some bikies again. They claim to be the Gypsy Jokers and the Bandidos. Apprently they have just murdered Pam Kingham earlier in the night just after I went to check on her safety. The mix up seems to be the street that I was travelling along when I threw the bins, which was Parkside ave, Mt pleasant. These bikie voices say they have taken a death warrant out on me because they mistakenly believed that I was at some other location. My main concern at the moment is their claim that they have murdered Pam Kingham, becasue there were three suspicious cars following me when I went to make sure she was OK. Fortunately I have the address where one of the cars parked in the driveway, then shut the gate, and the registration plate of one one the other vehicles. I will be calling into Hornsby Police station later today to let them know what I observed.

Following, is the original information they said about other matters they repeatedly told me about. It is important to appreciate, that what is written is what they said to me, and not a narrative of my own composition.

Though I’m not sure of the date, when I was 17 or 18 (1981 / 1982), I was involved with some notorious and violent people. It was the age of “punk rock” and I was a musician in a Mod band. I knew and was friends with Skinheads, Punks and Mods, and we were all part of an ‘anarchistic’ sub-culture.

One night when I was walking home drunk, for an unknown inexplicable reason (though I can explain it now, later in this post), I had a moments insanity and I committed a serious crime. As I was walking I passed a rubbish bin that was on the side of the footpath, just a normal city rubbish bin. I pulled the steel lining of the bin out and threw it onto the read that the footpath was next to. I did not stand and spectate, just threw thew bin onto the road and kept walking. As I walked down the street, I came across another bin, and I did the same thing. This was approximately 120 – 150m down the street. Once again I did not spectate, but kept walking. Another 120 – 150m down the street, I came across another bin, and I did the same thing. Then I ran away, because I didn’t want to get caught.

Anyhow, the longshot of it is that my voices said I ‘murdered’ (voluntary manslughter / involuntary manslughter) 4 Gypsy Jokers, and one of them, was the president.

Soon as they said this, I got online and contacted the Gypsy Jokers. As usual, what was said I do not disclose without express authority to do so. Ask them, if you are interested.

I was absolutely disgusted with myself. I could not understand or explain why I had done what I did, but I knew it was an atrocious act.I could not justify it in any way, and I hated myself for having done it.The only thing I could think of was to attribute it to alcohol. So I decided to give up drinking. That took some time to achieve.

In 2014 my voices started saying that I had killed a motorist that night when I threw the bins. I had for all intensive purposes forgotten all about that night and the incident. But my voices gave me hell and I felt very ashamed and terrible. They said I had killed someone called Peter Brasier. I was over-whelmed with grief, sadness, and fear. My voices continued to say that had killed someone, and I could not deal with my feelings, or their accusations. I was consumed with the most appalling feelings, because I knew how terrible and plausible their accusations were.

So I got online, went to the Crimestoppers website, and wrote an email to the Police, saying that I wanted to confess a crime that I had committed when I was young. I explained that I would pay for the investigation to be done, that is, I would pay the Police for the time and resources necessary to prosecute and convict me for the crime I had committed. I did not convey the details of the crime in my Crimestoppers email, mostly because I could not recall any of the details, and also because I was so ashamed.

A week or so later, the Police telephoned me and said that they had received my email. Just as the Policeman said that, my voices started laughing and chanting “we tricked ya, we tricked ya, we tricked ya, we tricked ya” over and over again. So I said to the Policeman, “look, I’m sorry, but I am schizophrenic and I was psychotic when I wrote that email, would you please disregard it”. The Policeman said, something to the effect of, “sure, that will be fine”. And then it occurred to me, that if my voices were real people, then they might have killed someone, and were setting me up to take them blame.

For approximately the next year, my voices repeatedly accused me of murdering someone. Then approximately 5 or 6 months later (and I can verify this to some extent using my transcripts), the voices said I had killed two people.Because the accusations changed, I began to try to disregard them.

Then on 12th March 2015, the voices started saying that they were the Bandido’s (an outlaw motorcycle club).They said they were in a unit next door, on the other side of the fence denoting the perimeter of my property, Furthermore, someone (and I will have to check my transcripts again), said that Ron had told them he was from the FBI, and Julia claimed something similar, and that the two of them were investigating and following me, because I was a known paedophile. They had told the Bandido’s that I was a genius software developer (and paedophile), and that is why they were conducting such an unusual investigation – they claimed I was extremely hard to catch and pin down.

(A note of respect, thanks, and appreciation:the most effective treatment (cure) for Afghanistan and Iraq veterans of their PTSD, is the Rebels Motorcycle Club Australia. I looked up the membership of the Bandidos motorcycle club in Australia, is stated as “Bandidos with 400 members and more than 400 associates” (Ellen Whinnett, national political editor, Herald Sun, May 20, 2016 5:00pm). I did in fact at first somewhere find their own statement of membership that was slightly larger, but I couldn’t find it when I looked for it again, so my apologies.

I should point out, that the first few times my voices started saying that (4 of) the Bandidos were outside, was when I was masturbating. So I immediately and emphatically tried to clue in my voices that they should not ever say things like that, under the prevailing circumstances about 1%’s. They can be very serious people, and in my view they live by their reputation. Such remarks are foolhardy and definately out of place, and if the people concerned were ever to hear that they were being (mis) represented as (repeatedly) watching me masturbate somehow, those remarks would get them in trouble that they do not have the capacity or capabilitiies to effectively manage the consequences (the voices, naming themselves as they do with humans names of people I have known).

I have made it a life policy to never let anyone’s reputation suffer from gossip or disparagement in my presence – I always affirm that heresay is inadmissiable, and that the defamatory remarks are especially reckless, and assuredly wrong or at least inaccurate, and unacceptable when the individual(s) concerned are not present and able to defend their reputation themselves. Despite my efforts, and warnings, my voices continued to impugn the reputation of Bandidos with claims they were outside while I wanked (“watching” they said). I know from their satisfied and gloating remarks whenever I got too scared to continue, that they were doing this to scare me. I think they missed my repeated point. And I used to ride.

Over the next year, this plot continued. I was repeatedly scared out of my whits, because the bikies thought I was a paedophile. As the months progressed, the story got worse. Julia said she had “borrowed” my spare house key from where I had them hidden outside. Every time I went to the shops, the voices said that they had entered my house and were planting child pornography on my computer.

The voices have just told me to stop, so I will finish this later…..

This is typical of how the schizophrenic voices behave. They often repeat themselves over and over. The date of this is shown, 3rd November, 2015.

My schizophrenia voices said “you are going to jail” 1083 times in 29 minutes. From 2000 to 2002, the voices often said things like “you are the most hated person in the universe” 8000 to 12000 times per day.

Here is the exact content of an email I sent to the WA Police through the Crimestoppers website. It is not the first two emails I sent, but I lost one, and only had the receipt ID issued by the website for the first one I sent, and I can not find that either. Here is the third and last email I sent them:

“Dear Sir, My name is Scott Stewart, and I am a Schizophrenic, suffering Auditory Verbal Hallucinations (hearing voices) for the past 24.5 years. Over the past week or so, I have been greatly alarmed and stressed by my hallucinations. I have been hearing (hallucinating) that 1) A Ms Julia Davis & a Mr Stefan Sojka have been independantly been submitting reports through this website, that I have ‘been boasting’ about being a criminal 2) That on the strength of these submissions, a cold case is being investigated again 3) that a Senior Detective Cream and a Senior Detective Wilson are the two officers doing the investigation. Since all this information is the result of auditory hallucinations, I do not wish to use your valuable time respondiong to mental health issues. However, if any of the above have a basis in fact, would you please email me at [email protected] or call me on 0431 906 821. Many thanks.”

I got the names of these abovementioned police from my hallucinations.

Who are insisting that I stop now. I will finish this later. It gets better.Turns out as I will detail, that I killed 4 Gypsy Jokers – including their president………
