Emily Fox, “So… Do you actually like me—” “We have been together for seven years. We’re getting married next year. What the hell do you think?”, while house hunting
house hunting II e.fox
"-and this is the last one for today?" your fiance asked as the real estate agent arrived, parking behind the two of you in the driveway and hurrying out of the car with arms laden full of papers.
"yes the last one for today. but if you're not feeling it we can organize some more for mid next week!" the woman assured, fumbling around to find the keys as you slipped your hand into emilys and squeezed gently.
"i know its been a long day, but this could be the one." you reminded softly as the brunette nodded tiredly, having trained this morning for several hours and then been dragged to six different properties you knew her patience was wearing thin.
"i know, and i know we both want to find the right house so if this isn't the one, thats okay too." your fiance nodded her agreement as you leaned in to sweetly peck her lips as the real estate agent finally unlocked the front door.
"i love you." "i love you more."
you'd both recently gotten engaged which was long overdue, and though you'd lived together for several years now you'd mutually decided that before you started to make wedding plans and a budget, your next step was to buy your first home together.
"-and then this is the master. i just need to make a couple of calls but i'll be right downstairs if you have any questions!" the woman smiled kindly, having given you both the grand tour and stepping away to provide some privacy for the pair of you to talk.
"do you like it?" "what do you think?"
you both shared a look and laughed at your in sync thinking, and you couldn't help the surge of butterflies which fluttered around your chest at the look of the grin on your fiances face.
"i really like it." "it has almost everything we said we were looking for."
again you both laughed speaking in unison, the footballer playfully rolling her eyes as your hand came to cover her mouth with a tut and a shake of your head as she pushed you off.
"close to good schools, not too far from the training centre, big backyard, five rooms, multiple bathrooms, garage which would fit both of our cars-" emily started to list as you nodded.
"-lots of natural light, glass sliding back doors that lead out onto the deck, fireplace, stairs aren't too steep, huge kitchen with an island bench top, great potential for entertaining indoors and outdoors, in-ground pool."
your hands interlocked again as you wandered from room to room upstairs, eventually ending right back up in the master and separating to have a closer look.
"hers and hers closet." you ticked off with your finger making emily chuckle as she followed you inside, the two of you mentally filling the shelves and racks with clothes as a comfortable silence fell between you.
"good size bathroom cabinets." emily made a ticking motion in the air now as you both moved to the ensuit bathroom next, you now laughing before she kissed your cheek and wandered over to inspect the shower.
"but it is just out of our budget." you sighed, your fiance humming and turning around to face you. "but really, we did lowball our budget to be prepared for the wedding." the girl reminded as you nodded, eyes roaming the room.
"and we did agree not to set a date yet because we could wait an extra year if we wanted to." you added on as now emily sighed, your body relaxing as your fiance pressed herself against you, arms circling your waist as her chin found home on your shoulders.
"you did make me wait seven years for a proposal baby, whats another two finally engaged?" you teased, her nose tucking into your neck as her lips softly kissed your shoulder blade.
"girlfriend, fiance, wife, none of those titles make me love you any more or any less. we're building a life together babe, we've been building a life together. this is our decision, nobody else's." the defender murmured, hand coming to rest on your cheek, turning your head slightly so her mouth could meet yours properly.
"i get the top shelf of the cabinets and the left side of the closet, obviously." you pulled away with a nod to the cabinet hearing a scoff behind you.
"and what makes you so sure of that baby?" your fiance questioned, raising a perfectly manicured eyebrow at you through the mirror in front of you.
"well i just claimed it." you shrugged with a grin, squealing as the brunette pinched your hip and you pushed her off of you. "and if i dispute your claim?" emily challenged crossing her arms as you let out a long and troubled sigh.
"so, do you actually like me or-" you started sadly as your fiance scoffed loudly cutting you off. "do i like you? we've been together for seven years. we're getting married! what the hell do you think?" her eyes rolled making your lips curl up into a smile.
"i think the top shelf and the left side of the closet should be mine, since you like me so much." you nodded matter of factly. "well then i get the left side of the bed, we are not having more than two decorative pillows and-" the girl paused as you raised an eyebrow awaiting her to finish her demands.
"and...?" "and...we buy this house." emilys face softened as her hands found yours, fingers interlinking and tugging you closer as your features lit up with surprise.
"really?" "really."

Usually, rustic is my least favorite style, but this 1982, (reno'd 1995), home in Sonoma, CA has an elegance to it. 4bds, 3ba, 4,335 sq ft, $4.295m + $250mo. HOA (Really?)
One thing about living in California is that you never have to worry about weather. It rarely rains and you can basically live outdoors. Makes me wonder why I put up with these stupid winters.
This living room is gorgeous- look at the ceiling. Modern fireplace, stone feature wall, and several double doors that open to the garden.
Huge kitchen. There're also lots of doors in here, too.
Store-bought wooden island, not the usual built-in, fits perfectly.
No store-bought cabinetry, this elegant gourmet chef's kitchen has chunky wood pieces, instead. The cement sink was fit into the piece on the right. I love mismatched cabinetry.
These double doors opne to a stone patio with a dining table.
So many lovely details.
A long addition to the home houses this amazing stone dining room. Love the row of chandeliers and the giant old wood round made into a clock.
Off to the side there's a large sitting area. The huge table of blocks is certainly flexible- the loose blocks can be reconfigured.
Ancient barn doors open and close off the space on the side. It looks like there's also a small door or window in the panel on the right.
Light, airy primary bedroom has a sitting area by the French doors.
Spacious bath with stone sinks. Note the interesting columns on the left.
This is an elegant bedroom. I love how they mixed heavy rustic pieces with posh.
This piece that the cement sink is set into looks like an antique architectural piece. The mirror frame looks like it was made from rusty pieces. Yet, looking at it closely, it also looks like it could be a patterned quilted fabric.
The bed in this smaller bedroom is the star of the room.
And, this pretty room has a delicate canopy bed with filmy curtains.
What a pretty garage.
Look at this water feature down the stone stairs from the open living room.
Such beautiful water features.
The grounds are stunning. I love the stone buildings.
This is so cute, it's a little potting shed.
Then, there's this additional outdoor sitting room.
A plaque by the door says "The home of an artist," in French.
Gated entry to the property. So, then why do you need an HOA? They can't even see it.
And, in addition, there's a vast 7.18 acres of land.

Winter Legacy Challenge
You’ve always hated the heat, as a kid you dreamed of snowy mountains and chilly air. But now, as a young adult, you're finally leaving your warm hometown behind to start fresh in the cold, serene peaks of Mt. Komorebi. With nothing but the winter landscape ahead, and ready to build a new life — a legacy — in the heart of the snow. Welcome to the Winter Legacy Challenge! Expansion packs you'll need: -- Snowy Escape. If you don't have snowy escape, but have seasons, this works fine too. It's okay to play through spring considering the weather conditions BUT you'll have to remember to enable testingcheats and change it back to winter once it becomes summer with seasons.set_season 2 -- Seasons Recommend packs, but BG alternatives provided: -- Outdoor Retreat -- Life and Death -- Spa Day Not needed, but nice for gameplay: -- Island Living -- Eco Lifestyle
Rules: -- You may use freerealestate for your first house, but after please refrain from using any other cheats while playing. -- Normal or Long lifespans. -- Careers are up to you, UNLESS stated otherwise. -- You need to complete each requisite (goals, and challenges for the generation. Aspirations if stated) before that sim dies. If they die before everything is completed, their heir must pick a goal or challenge to complete in honor of them. -- If they die before producing a heir, you fail. -- If a sim dies from freezing, their heir must honor them by building a small memorial or shrine. Gen 1: Winter Dreamer Backstory: Having spent their life in the desert, this Sim dreams of snow-covered landscapes. They’ve saved enough to move to a permanent winter wonderland. Complete your aspiration entirely.
ALWAYS Complete the Winterfest holiday tradition (decorate the tree, cook a holiday meal, etc).
Have a Hot Tub on your plot. (OR build a pool and add decorative rocks and greenery around it)
Collect all Sammies.
Challenge: Your Sim must spend 3+ hours outside daily, no matter the weather or their needs. (It can be making snow angels or exploring town, etc.)
Gen 2: Frostbitten Adventurer Backstory: Growing up surrounded by snow, this Sim craves adrenaline-fueled adventures. Paint or take 8 winter-themed works (snowy forests, ice skating, festive winter scenes).
Embrace Winterfest as their favorite holiday, decorating the tree, and hosting festive gatherings.
Challenge: To make a living, they will rely only on their art—no regular jobs allowed. No thermostat can be used to heat the home this generation, use fireplaces or space heaters instead.
Gen 4: Frozen Royalty Backstory: This Sim believes they are the ruler of a frozen kingdom. Eccentric and ambitious, they build an empire to match their icy vision, complete with loyal subjects and a grand icy palace. Traits: Ambitious, Snob, Romantic Aspiration: Mansion Baron Goals:
Host at least two grand events each winter (Winter Balls, fancy dinners, or other social gatherings). These events must include 6+ guests, top-quality food, and gold-level rewards.
Have at least one child with Father Winter.
During the winter season, go ice skating. Max the skating skill. You are allowed to put them on your plot so you don't need to travel, if you have the funds and room. (There is one located somewhere in Mt. Komorebi, if you dont have Snowy Escape, travel to Magnolia Blossom Park in Willow Creek during winter.)
Challenge: Your heir must inherit an heirloom and keep the ‘icy empire’ alive. (if you don't own life and Death, that’s okay, just pick something that stays with the heir until they die. It can be in their inventory or place somewhere in the lot.
Gen 5: The Eternal Winter Keeper? As the heir to a family built on the love for winter and it’s traditions, you’ve always known your role: to continue your ancestors’ mission of preserving the eternal frost. But as the years go on, you’ve begun to question your destiny. You long for warmth, sun, and freedom from the cold. The decision weighs heavily on your heart:
Will you stay loyal to your family and uphold their wintery legacy? Or will you break away and forge a new path, leaving snow behind for the warmth of tropical shores?
Path 1: Frozen Protector Backstory: For generations, your family has served as stewards of winter—a lineage entrusted with keeping the delicate balance between the icy season’s beauty and its unforgiving harshness. You’ve grown up knowing that, as the next heir, the title of Winter Keeper will one day fall on you. Will you prove yourself worthy of the mantle, or will winter lose its way in your hands?Traits: Loyal, Outgoing, Lovebug (If not possible, use Romantic)Aspiration: Successful Lineage Goals:
Befriend at least three Sims who are “winter aligned” (traits like Loves Outdoors, Loner, or Creative, etc) and strengthen your bond by doing winter-related activities together at least once a week with one of them. If you have Get together, make a club with outlines relating to cold or festive activities.
Find your soulmate in a winter setting (at a snow-covered lot or during a winter festival). Woo them with romantic gestures like snowball fights, outdoor stargazing, or ice skating. Have an outside wedding with them.
Ensure your child connects with winter traditions by maxing out a related skill before they become a young adult (e.g., Violin for haunting melodies, Charisma for storytelling, or Fitness for winter sports).
Challenge: Add at least one major improvement to the family’s estate if you haven’t already: build an outdoor skating rink, a winter conservatory, or a family mausoleum for past heirs.
Path 2: The Sun Seeker Backstory: You’ve always felt like an outsider in your family, your dreams of warmth clashing with their love for snow. After years of feeling stifled by the cold, you decide to take the boldest step of all: abandoning your family’s icy traditions and embracing a life of sun, freedom, and joy. But forging a new path is never easy, especially when your roots are steeped in frost. Traits: Child Of the Ocean, Outgoing, Foodie Aspiration: Beach Life (Angling Ace if you don't own IL) Goals:
Move to a tropical destination (preferably Sulani) and embrace the warm climate fully. Marry a local Sim and raise your family in the tropical paradise!
Max out the Fishing skill
Befriend the dolphins (Island Living) or form a club of locals to celebrate your new lifestyle.
Challenge: Abandon all winter traditions. You can never celebrate Winterfest again. You must create a new summer holiday, or host a big party every Summer.

———————
Finding a suitable place to stay for the night wasn't easy, but necessary, they were both running on fumes and were being held up by the force of the other. Joel could feel the now firey pain in his side from his adrenaline rush fully wearing off, and he wasn't sure how long he could keep going. The only sound he heard from Ellie while they walked was a creaky wheeze in her breath. Joel focused on the task at hand, knowing he couldn't really do her much good until they found somewhere to settle for the night.
After passing the bones of a potentially promising building about a mile back, Joel seemed to slow, he was running out of hope. He knew if they crumpled then, that they would die in the snow. He didn't have the strength to support the both of them much longer, and he was terrified of the seemingly inevitable. Weak and tired beyond belief, he almost slowed to a full stop until he saw it.
Under a sheet of snow, there was a tall roof that sat upon a seemingly undisturbed cabin. It was small, made for only a couple of people, but perfect for their situation. A thin chimney poked out of the right side of the roof, signaling a fireplace. A small deck lead to a centered door that was latched into place, and the neighboring windows were covered.
"Look, Ellie," he breathed out, unable to believe it himself. "We just gotta make it a few more yards, then we can get warm."
She looked at the small building, only hearing a muffled voice, she saw potential safety, grounding. Rationally she knew that nothing could ever truly be safe, but right now, she saw this cabin as an island in the middle of calm waters, far from any threatening life that could reach her. She craved to be inside with Joel, shielded from the snowy pine trees that have encapsulated her view since leaving the burning restaurant.
They trudged one last stride of strength the reach the covered porch, it has been steadily snowing for the last hour or so, but has rapidly picked up in the last 15 minutes. Joel reached for the nob, locked of course. He sat Ellie down in one of the porch chairs and threw his body into the wood. He mustered up as much strength as he could to get the door to crack open even a splinter to prove to himself that there's still hope. He cursed under his breath, unable to fling himself into the door again in fear of really messing up his equilibrium.
He looked over the Ellie, blood still stained her face and she still had that vacant look of terror in her eyes, on edge but clearly too exhausted to really react.
A quiet whistling caught his attention and he walked past Ellie to check the side of the building. He could almost smile, an open window. He walked back around to be facing Ellie again.
"Hey, I'm gonna get through that window there and come 'round to unlock it for ya," he felt like he was speaking to a husk. "I'll be quick, promise." He pushed some of her hair back, searching her eyes for any response, she just looked back, the same frozen expression that scared the shit out of him. He shook his head and stood up, wincing at the pain in his side and waking back down the steps and around to figures out a way into the tall window.
After moving some nearby discarded outdoor furniture, he was able to shimmy his way through the window and close it back. He scanned the room, it was a wide open space with a simple bed it the corner, broken and the mattress was rotted, it sectioned off by a dusty book shelf. Across from the shelf was a small couch and coffee table, the fire place beside it. There was a simple kitchen facing the fireplace head on and a small bathroom back by the bedroom. He landed in the middle of the kitchen, next the the wall to the bathroom and headed right, towards the front door to let Ellie in.
She was in the same spot he had left her, but now she had silent tears streaming down her face, and she was looking around in a frantic manner. Almost like she was searching for something. Someone.
"Ellie, it's safe," he beckoned, she looked over in his direction, eyes meeting his and she darted her gaze to the room behind him then back at him. He went to help her stand and lead her to the couch that had one broken, sunken in end, but the other end would suffice for her to sit on while he cleaned her up.
The first thing he did was secure the entrances. Locking every window, pushing furniture in front of what he could. He took a big pot from the kitchen cupboard and went outside to fill it with snow, then he locked the front door, putting a vase on the side table that was in front of it. Sound trapping whoever might try to get in. As he went through his list of Securing Your Base 101, in the back of his mind, he debated whether or not he should start a fire. On one hand a smoke signal could draw attention to anyone within miles, on the other, however, it seems as thought a blizzard is making its way in, potentially masking any trace of smoke in the sky. By the sound of Ellie's teeth chattering he thinks he'll risk it.
He pulled some wood off of the broken bed frame and threw it into the fireplace, then lit a match. He set the pot of snow close to the fire and searched for supplies. The bathroom was raided except for some Q-Tips and a spilt, dried out bottle of rubbing alcohol. He cursed again, he knew he couldn't be that lucky.
He then searched the dresser, finding a major tool in helping them claim back their sanity and physical health, a thick, feathery blanket. He went to immediately place it on Ellie and get her wrapped up.
Maybe they could be a little lucky
Lastly, he wanted to check the kitchen for anything useful. There was some old utensils and some broken plates. He didn't dare open the fridge, but in the cabinets above, there was a bottle of alcohol, aged and dusty, but unopened. He also found a few wash cloths scattered in a squeaky drawer, at least one of them was clean enough to use.
Finally he winded down in front of Ellie, pulling the coffee table in front of her so he could have a seat and a work space. The few items he found where scattered to his left. He could already feel the light radiation of heat coming from the fireplace.
He dipped the cloth in the pot of now water and went to dab around Ellie's nose, loosening the blood he could first as to not scrub her skin. She winced as he patted around the fracture of the her nose, and he responded with a few sorry's as he made his way onto her neck. Even as he started to wash away some of the blood, color still remained, deep purple and blue bruises swelled under her skin. He could tell she had been choked and hit in the face multiple times, what else was he about to discover?
He stood up and went to her side to pull her hair back how she liked it, he hoped this small sense of structure might help her find her words again, maybe it would help her come back to herself. He pulled the hair tight and braided the tail into a tight braid so that minimal flyaways would get in her way.
He circled back around to sitting on the coffee table again and went back over her face to soak up and scrub off any remains of blood.
He then reached for her hands to clean and she obliged. He was thankful for the small action, it proved she was still there, she understood the small gesture. There was hope.
He went into the kitchen in search of a cup after her hands were as good as he could get them, looking for something for Ellie to drink out of, she needed some form of sustenance, and he didn’t have any food to offer her. He brought back a cup and realized the pot of water was tainted with blood. He felt so stupid. He went back to the kitchen again and got a smaller pot and went back out for another scoop of fresh snow. He surveyed the tree line and looked into the sky. Thick flakes of icy snow covered the sky in a dark fog. He breathed a gust of relief, thinking of the decision to start the fire, then turning back to head inside. He placed the vase back in its rightful spot and put the pot of snow by the fireplace.
“Alright, baby, you need some dry clothes,” Joel crouched next to Ellie. She blinked then looked over to him, her eyes were glossy, but her face didn’t contort into a cry, it just seemed to be static. She looked at the thick layers that covered her then back up to him.
She looked so young and innocent, so sweet and dependent. His lip curled into a small smile at how childish she looked. He stood tall and reached down for the blanket first, then his jacket. She had on a thick, grey sweater and ripped, blood stained jeans that looked almost black due to the dampness below her knees. Joel handed her her pack and she slowly rummaged through the contents, it was like she was trying to move through a pool of molasses. Her arms seemed so heavy to her and she had to stop to think about what item to look for next.
She ended up pulling out a shirt, hoodie, new pair of jeans and under garments. The bundle sprawled out to her right on the dent of the couch. Joel took back the pack and laid it next to his against the bookshelf.
“There’s a bathroom if you’d like, or if you need help-“ he trailed off, he wasn’t sure what to say in this moment. Of course he would help her with whatever she needed, but he didn’t want to cross a boundary. He’s not her father, he knows that, but he is a father.
She stayed silent.
“Are you hurtin’ anywhere else?” He figured now would be a good time to ask.
“Ribs.” It was quiet, but it was her. He kneeled down in front of her once again.
“Do you think they’re broken?” He asks, patiently looking up at her. She only shrugs. “It could be dangerous if they are, do you mind if I feel just to make sure they aren’t?” He asks hesitantly. He knows what needs to be done, but he doesn’t want to push. She shakes her head, and goes to lift her sweater, not far, but enough to gesture that he has permission. He takes the hem from her and she goes to cover her chest so that the front won’t go past where she’s comfortable.
A pit of anxiety digs deep into her stomach, she knows that she can trust Joel, but she’s still terrified. He feels over each rib that’s in the ripple of a dark bruise covering her lower abdomen. He forces himself to stick to the task at hand and not over-examine the boot-shaped print that covers her stomach, or the hand prints that have gripped her sides. He shoves away the thought of anyone touching her for the time being, he can’t loose his cool, not right now.
“Alright, you’re good, no breaks,” he almost hisses out of gritted teeth, but Ellie’s doesn’t seem to focus on that. She just adjusts her sweater back to where it was and looks over to her fresh clothes.
“Help?” she almost whispers, but Joel hears her. ‘Of course’ he thinks, he would do anything it would take to make her feel better right now. Anything to prove that he can take care of her.
He doesn’t think the image will ever leave his mind, it’s burned into his eyelids. Every time he blinks, he sees her, disoriented and covered in blood. The petrified scream that echos in his ears. He doesn’t know what happened at that resort, or what happened while he was incapacitated, but he knew that she didn’t deserve any of it. She’s just a kid for Christ sake.
Ellie hands him a shirt and her hoodie.
“Close your eyes.” He does as he’s told and waits for further instructions. “Shirt,” she’s starting to gain back volume in her voice, still quiet, but she’s using her chest again instead of just whispers. He rolls the shirt thin and holds open the arm holes for her to ease into. Muscle memory from the many times he has helped Sarah pops up for him that make this process smoother for the both of them. “Okay, you can open,” she sniffles.
She reached for the jacket but struggles to get it behind her. Joel reaches for the shoulders and stands to lean over and help her slide her arms into the sleeves. He zips up the front for her.
When she’s ready, Joel helps her stand, they repeat the process from the shirt with the jeans and he’s kneeled again with closed eyes rolling up the pant legs for her. She uses his shoulders as support and trust and huffs as she shimmy’s them up to the fitted spot. She huffs out a breath and flops back into the couch.
Joel excuses himself to go the the bathroom and change into dry clothes as well and when he comes back out, he sees that the fire has new fuel that makes the flames spike. Ellie had just thrown in her old clothes and fed the fire full. Some smoke and even rolled into the room instead of the chimney. Joel went to set his pack back down and turns to see that Ellie has her nose buried in the collar of her shirt. The panic in her eyes flare and she begins breathing heavily.
He sees the flames slowly start to die down and also finds the correlation. The fire from the building earlier.
By the time he’s kneeled in front of her yet again, she seems out of her body. Lost in her own mind. Again.
“Ellie, hey, you’re okay, you’re safe,” he tries to spit out comforting rationality. “Baby, look at me, we’re far gone from that place.” He searches her eyes for any spark of familiarity but she continues to spiral. By now, he remembers the drinking water he set aside and rushed to go get it and the cup, he fills only the bottom and brings it to her. He takes some one his finger tips and presses the liquid to her lips. Her hands are wrapped around her waist and she’s curled into herself muttering heart breaking pleas.
He dabs a little more water to her lips, more this time and she instinctively licks what falls onto her inner lip. She immediately realizes how thirsty she is and starts searching for the source of the water. Her body is still huddled, but has calmed a bit. She’s stuck in her own head, cutting through the thick branches that block the way back to the drivers seat of her being. She settles back into gear and slowly settles back down. She feels the ghost grip that David left on her neck and torso. She can even almost smell his scent lingering above her. She cringes.
“Hey, ya with me?” Joel asks, still holding the cup of water. She looks up at him and gives him a small nod before shifting down to the glass in his hands. She swallows and Joel gets the hint. He hold its to her lips. “Okay, a little bit at a time, don’t make yourself sick.”
She drinks a gulp and takes a deep breath. Her body is upset with her, and she realized just how exhausted she is. She rubs her eyes then fixes her arms back around her waist.
“You should get some rest, I’ll keep watch for a while,” Joel’s voice echos through Ellie’s ears. Joel fixes a pillow to her left then gestures for her to lay down before he wraps the thick blanket over her small form. He brushes back the baby hairs that popped out of her pony tail and sadly looks down at her. “Goodnight, baby,” he leans down to kiss her hair and her eyes are already closed. She slowly starts to drift off as Joel makes a spot on the floor to where he can keep an eye on her and the door.
He takes a drink of water himself and positions his rifle against his leg in an easy-to-grab spot.
He now fully feels the throbbing pain in his side, but he still focuses on the task at hand.
Keep. Ellie. Safe.

Now, I'm in England with a house I absolutely love, and found that it either didn't sell, or is on the market again. I LOVE this home. Note the 2 statues on the columns playing a game and you drive under it.
This estate is in Dorsington, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, UK, has 6bds, 6ba, £3.65M / $4.319M
Do you like the look of beams? This home's ground fl. is completely open concept, but the beams offer a clear view while still marking separations for each area. Here in the living room there's a lovely brick fireplace.
There's a nice round railing in the middle of the floor. Note the exposed brick walls.
The home has a nautical theme. The unusual round kitchen island has nautical accents. I can't make out what the graphics on the walls are, but they must be ship-themed.
I must say that this is some architectural design. It's amazing. I could be very happy here. It gives off a feeling of tranquility.
Also, beyond the kitchen and living room, there's a gorgeous indoor pool and spectacular acquarium that takes up a whole wall.
I like the way the inside of the pool is painted and look at the stained glass window with an ocean scene above. Also, take note of the beams on the left that are carved to look like palm tree trunks.
The hot tub at the end of the pool lit up at night. How romantic is this?
A magnificently carved custom made bed in a child's room. Look at the mermaid with the trident. On the other side there's a pirate with a sword. Is that a canon in the middle? I think that there's also a way to climb up on top of the bed, too.
From the cupola in the eaves there's a pirate ready to swoop down and he has a long sword on his belt.
Now, out here they cheated. That's book shelf wallpaper.
The primary bedroom is very large, and a little too beige.
The home theater has an Art Deco flair. Look at the little side tables, for snacks and drinks.
What an incredible bar. The floor, the lights, the walls. Even the pool table lights up.
Outdoors there's a nice little terrace and what a colorful anchor.
The big chess set.
Gorgeous gardens.
And, as if all of this isn't enough, there's a fairytale cottage with a thatched roof.
Isn't this a cozy living room? Love the red wood stove and Marilyn Monroe above it.
Nice semi-circular kitchen. The extra touches in these homes are so special.
What a lovely sunroom.
