The Bikini Bottom Legacy

Hi Guys! Oooooo🎙️🎶🎵🎼🧜🏽‍♀️! My name is SirenSims & I have been thinking for a long while about a legacy challenge that I could create that was a bit different from the other challenges I have been seeing. So I thought about the personalities of the Spongebob Squarepants Characters, and so The Bikini Bottom Legacy was formed! There are a ton of personalities to play with in the Sims 3. So this Legacy will help you discover those and have some juicy Storylines to keep it engaging! It was hard to pick just 10 archetypes, and some of these features I’ve never used before so I’m excited to try this out!

You have a heart of gold and just want to make others happy with your Cooking! Your Family raised you to be positive, helpful & friendly (even to your detriment!). Moving into a new town you bring light, laughter, and good food. You bought a two-story tiny house for you and your feline friend (Cat with any G name you want). You made two best friends, one Grumpy and one Lazy ( Make them in CAS or find sims with those traits in town). By the time you reach level 6 or 7 seven of your Culinary Career, you feel like spreading your love by extending your family. Generation 3 - Squidward Tentacles

Your Parent was definitely not strict, but they gave you so much freedom that you ended up resenting them and the rest of the town. Their lack of attentiveness caused you to fall off a slide and break your nose, as a preteen, so you had to get it fixed. However, a mishap occurred at the plastic surgeon that made your nose a little longer than normal. You had to move to the City where people are as rude and isolated as you are. One thing that you do thank your parents for is their overbearing but consistent support of your love for Painting and music. Once settled in the new City you make one friend who is so positive you don't see them very often (On Purpose!). You also make an enemy on the first day that infuriates and intrigues you at the same time. Your Dream is to be a composer for Movies, but you`ll be happy just making a living in the arts in general. You hate Butterflies and Jellyfish cause they remind you of your Parent, but you do get a pet and name it after your Parent. (Maybe you do miss them). Hopefully, a life of semi-solitude will fulfill you and help you live your dreams.

"There's one thing you should know about me Delia Vincent, I don't date. Got no heart to break and emptiness is safe, keep it that way."

He was adamant in his choices…

…But then things changed.

"Okay, earpiece test in 3, 2, 1." Delia states before sending the earpiece noise through to the guys who all give her a thumbs up in response; Andy does so without looking in her direction. "Okay great, if you could go ahead and start with Wake Up so I can get the mix correct then we'll move onto Faithless to test the backing of the bell."

Just as the band started playing, that's when Shevy walks into the sound tech studio and takes a seat next to Delia, a look of concern on the girl's face.

"How are you feeling today D?" Shevy asks "And please don't lie, I saw the tears you were fighting last night."

"Does it matter how I feel Shevy? Andy made his feelings very clear last night and even then I knew deep down it would never work between us anyway." Delia sighs. "Forgetting how cruel and unkind he can be, Andy will go back to Los Angeles and I'll return to Ohio, we'll be miles apart anyway."

"You know Andy is originally from Ohio, right? He's always going back to visit there." Shevy states.

"Shevy, I honestly don't care anymore, I'm done with him. I'm not going to keep torturing myself. I'm an idiot for even sleeping with the guy, whatever I'm feeling towards him I need to forget about it."

"You like him don't you?" Shevy smiles lightly.

"I do, I really do, and I know I shouldn't. Every single cell in my brain is screaming at me to let him go, but every fibre of my body almost begs for him to touch me again, not even for just sex. He makes out to be this guy who doesn't care for people and who doesn't believe in love, but sex with him he's so gentle and almost loving and that's what truly confuses me." Delia sighs turning back to look at the soundboard.

"Okay, I'm not going to ask more about the situation because you're starting to look upset and the last thing I want to do is make you cry. All I'm going to say though is just see what happens, maybe give him a chance to come to his senses. This tour he seems to be more willing and open with his emotions, something I haven't seen in a while, I like to think it's because of you." Shevy explains "If you need me I'll be backstage okay hun?"

"Okay, see you soon Shevy."

"So what's the plan after Seattle then boys?" CC asks "Are we getting drinks to celebrate the tour like always?"

"Is that such a good idea CC?" Lonny asks "With what's been going on in Seattle I'm not sure that's such a great idea."

"Nonsense, it'll be fine. We'll have security with us, plus if we stick together everything will be fine." CC tries to reassure the youngest member of the band.

Soundcheck finished about 10 minutes ago so everyone was just relaxing backstage before VIP started in 2 hours. Despite the conversations that had been happening in the room, the tension was still there; Andy's outburst yesterday made the group feel very awkward in the presence of both Andy and Delia, Shevy and Lonny feeling nothing but sorrow for their new friend whilst Jake, Jinxx and CC had guesses of what went down.

"I agree with Lonny, I'm not sure I'm fond of that idea CC." Shevy agrees with Lonny.

"Could we maybe talk about something other than Seattle please?" Delia speaks up whilst staring into space. All she could feel was Andy's eyes on her and she was trying desperately to ignore his gaze, if she looked at him she knew she'd crack.

"We better move from the conversation in case Delia faints again, I can't guarantee I'll be able to catch her this time." Andy mumbles loud enough for everyone to hear; Delia felt her heart shatter more. Why was he being like this? Was this all part of his game? To make Delia feel like she could love him only for him to rip the platform from underneath her and leave her hanging for her life?

"I'll be back, I just remembered I need to make a call quickly." Delia stutters slightly before rushing out of the room, Andy's eyes of course following her whilst the rest of the band look at Andy in confusion. They were pleasantly surprised with hope to think that he was changing back to his old self, sadly it seemed that they were all wrong.

"Delia honey, I thought you had a show today?" The voice of Delia's mum comes through the phone in shock and happiness.

"Yeah, we do." Delia smiles sadly as she speaks through the phone. "Mum, I think I've made a mistake." It's then Delia feels the tears start to roll down her cheeks; Delia has always been close to her mum, she would always talk gossip and men with her. Her favourite memory is how her mum would always make her a hot drink they would both share biscuits whilst sharing the news that had occurred, her mum was always the best at giving advice.

"Oh Petal, what's happened? I'm sure you've done nothing wrong." Her mum coos over the phone; this would be when her mum would wrap her up into a hug if they were together in person.

"I slept with the lead singer and... I think I've grown to like him." Delia admits letting out a broken sigh.

"Oh petal, I wouldn't call that a mistake." Delia's mum was always an optimist in situations like this "Trust me when I say that most people who sleep together end up catching feelings for one another, chances are he probably feels the same."

"But he doesn't mum." Delia whimpers as she feels more tears fall down her cheeks "I feel like an idiot, I knew he didn't do commitment yet I put myself in that position."

"How many times has it been Delia?" Her mum was never one where things were too much information, Delia had always been able to share things from the first time she had her period to when she lost her virginity and panicked about contraception and safe sex.

"Twice." Delia admits.

"Okay, well I would advise on not sleeping with him again and let him make the next move. But most men who are non-committable don't often sleep with the same person more than once." Delia's mum always was a voice of reason, always trying to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

"It hurts mum, he's said some really hurtful things and it's hard to hide that I'm not affected when really I am." Delia cries before telling her mum about yesterday's outburst.

"Do you want the truth Delia?" her mum asks her, her silence confirming to her mum that she in fact did want the truth. "I think he's damaged Petal and people do weird things when they are damaged. From what you've told me it seems that he holds an interest in you, but he's likely battling with his head." 

"What do I do mum?" Delia asks.

"Don't overthink it. Let him come to you. If he truly does hold interest, which I believe he does, he needs time to win the battle in his head. Sometimes our mind can be our own biggest enemy." Delia's mum states.

"Yeah, maybe you're right." Delia nods even though she knew that her mum could not see such a gesture. "I erm, I should head back. The VIP starts soon then we have the show."

"Yes, of course, good luck dear. I'll see you next week when you're home." 

"I'll see you next week mum." 

Time is what we want most but what we use worst. Life teaches us to make good use of time while time teaches us of the value of life.

One thing this situation makes me want to critique is how in general when ccs are called out and apologize there is always express criticism about those who do not like the apology. This is not to say everyone who dislikes an apology is reasonable always 1000% of the time obviously but what I am saying we need to stop having celebrities and ccs just apologizing being enough because as repeated behavior comes out its always "erm well they apologized in the past!" As if that just apologizing in itself is enough and thst the content of the words doesn't matter at all.

Content of an apology does in fact matter. Between not being able to say "hey I did x action and it was wrong" and instead saying "I did some meh accidental vague stuff I won't say. Sorry you were offended" 1000% makes a difference and one of which is a terrible apology. It happened in the past is a common excuse people use for things and I'm also sick of that. Firstly 2-3 years ago isn't a long time ago and secondly "erm the early 2000s bigotry was normalized" or "insert year insert action was normalized" isn't isn't excuse either. Harm is and was never okay and it did and always still does cause harm. Just because it was "normalized" and people got away with harn does not mean that harm was just like alright to do 😭. We cannot keep allowing harm to happen just for 5 years later to go "welp it was okay then so no one can be held accountable" as a means of you ignoring the uncomfortability you have with holding people and yourself accountable for those actions. It isn't t9 say time cannot be a factor in showing the length of someone's effort to become a better person and grow on fact I think that time can be really valuable and i believe in growth.

Lastly I feel like with cc and celebrities there's an expectation for forgive them amongst fans. You're either a fan thst defends them or you're an anti that hates them. You can't of course be a fan that critiques them or any other gray area because to be a fan or supporter of their art or adjacent projects you have to in fact forgive them even if they harmed you. They're of course Owed this because Applogy was made regardless of how bad the apology was. And that's bullshit.

And again this is not to say I think we should go far in the other direction and doxx every celebrity and cc and hope we find something that clearly is fucked up and terrible and it's not to say people can't be unreasonable in their expectations of the person they follow for content (often people are unreasonable a lot). It's to say that apologies are much more than just doing it and people are allowed to be harmed by past and current behavior and are allowed to want accountability for that and are allowed to critique an apology and not want to support them. The end.

So.... I'm sure y'all know by now...

I hit 20 members on Patreon a couple weeks ago, and to celebrate it, I released a content dump. It had really small CC in there, but one of the things included was a career mod I had made. I don't know why, like if I was tired or something, but that lead to the top level in the career giving sims $60,000 a day, which means $420,000 a WEEK... and since there's usually 4 weeks in an in-game calendar year that means $1,680,000 a YEAR...

I know veneer techs get a lot of money, but at some point this gets absurd. 😭

So I altered the hourly wages a bit. They're still wayyy more than average sims get for their jobs, but not like $21,000,000~ every human year.

Level 1 -> $250 (from $500)

Level 2 -> $500 (from $1,000)

Level 3 -> $1,000 (from $5,000)

Level 4 -> $5,000 (from $20,000)

Celebrity Scammer Branch -> $10,000 / M-F (from $50,000 / M-SN)

Seminar Leader Branch -> $7,500 (from $25,000)

Hi, call me Nei! I'm a 21 year old female student with just a little over a year of RP experience, though I've been writing for a lot longer than that. Ever since I got into the RP scene, I've been itching to write with others and finally let some of that brainrot escape it's fleshy prison. I try my best to be friendly and understanding, and I don't want or plan to get into any internet (and especially Tumblr) drama. I just wanna write!

I like to chat OOC when I vibe with my RP partners, and I'm prone to gushing about the characters, sending songs and playlists relevant to the RP, making Pinterest boards, sharing memes, and so on! I'd appreciate it if my partner shared the enthusiasm, but I get that that just isn't for everyone, and as long as the RP is fun and consistent, and my partner is respectful and understanding, I don't mind a more chill OOC experience.

♠ RULES ♠

Standard DNI criteria. MAPs, TERFs, racists, and other assholes, get the fuck off my blog.

You must be 18+. As I am an adult myself, I don't feel comfortable writing with minors regardless of the contents of the RP. I also prefer to write with people no older than 30.

I mainly write over Discord. I say mainly because I haven't yet decided if I'm going to make RP sideblogs for specific characters! I'll update this post if I do, but generally I don't RP outside of Discord. Additionally, I like making a private server for easier organization, and I like using Tupperbox. If you don't know what that is or how to use it, I'd be more than happy to teach you! But Tupperbox is not a must.

NO REALISTIC FCs. This might seem like a strange rule, but I simply cannot do RP when the faceclaim is a real person. This goes not only for actors, singers, and other celebrities, but really any photos of real people. You can use picrew or neka, or your own art, or even art you found on the internet. (I'm cool with using photos of real life outfits and stuff for reference, though!)

I write fandomless OC x OC, and sometimes CC x CC. I'll list my fandoms later, but generally speaking, I'm currently comfortable writing only a few canon characters.

My preferred ships are MxM and FxF, and I can also do ships with NB and genderfluid characters. I can do MxF as well, but I vastly prefer queer relationships, and I'll only do MxF if I really feel like it fits the RP. I hope you'll understand! Also: ships don't have to be romantic, I enjoy platonic and familial relationships as well, including friends, found family, and even enemies.

I write third person past and present, and I don't accept RP written in first person.

I can write anywhere from semi-lit/literate to novella. It depends on my mood and what the scene requires. Currently, I'm very busy, so I can only do shorter replies – around 2-3 short paragraphs, and likely not super detailed. Please just use good grammar.

Currently, I DON'T do NSFW. I'm comfortable with flirting and intimacy, but I prefer fading to black when it comes to sex scenes. It kind of depends on the RP and my partner if I'm willing to do more, because I need to feel comfy with writing it first!

I don't double. I know doubling means different things for different people, but however you define it, I don't do it.

My activity varies, as I am in college so sometimes life gets stressful or I get busy. I'll likely do at least 2-3 replies a week, though. At least one reply a week is what I ask from my partner.

Limits and triggers will be discussed before the RP.

Work with me when plotting! I CANNOT plot alone or figure out characters alone, if you're going into this with no plot or character ideas whatsoever, we're gonna have a difficult time figuring out what to write.

♦ WHAT DO I WRITE? ♦

I do both angst and fluff.

I like a lot of genres and settings! I have some plots in mind but I'd love to hear what you have to offer! The genres include: fantasy (high, medieval, victorian...), victorian settings, modern, sci-fi, supernatural, horror/thriller, futuristic, slice of life, and more.

I'm open to dark subject matter/whump. Since I enjoy horror, I also enjoy dark and gritty themes, as well as things that might be upsetting to explore. So long as we're both being mature about it, there shouldn't be a problem. This will, of course, be discussed in detail before we start writing.

I'm prone to making OCs on the fly or repurposing existing OCs, so even if I don't have an OC for our specific RP, I can make one in a matter of several days.

I have noticed it, but you bringing it to my attention again has sent me spiralingggg! If I recall correctly (I don't have the books in front of me right now), the priestess with the eight-pointed star on her forehead was celebrating/worshipping the TOG gods.

Because of this... it really makes me wonder if the TOG gods are going to have a major part to play in the broader SJM multiverse? I have seen some people theorise that the Asteri could be the TOG gods (but to me, it seems as if the TOG gods have their own natural reserve of power, whereas the Asteri need to steal power? Though the details on this are vague...).

It's more of a crack theory (with many holes in it lmao), but I have wondered if some of the CC characters are the TOG gods (or connected in some way?) Hunt is repeatedly connected to Thurr (who was a god). In SJM's Pinterest for Ruhn, there were multiple pictures of a particular Celtic god. Then Bryce and Theia are connected (and Theia and Mala - a TOG god - share many similarities). Even Amren (with similar eyes to Deanna) gives me TOG god vibes.

And then with SJM drafting a book series called "Twilight of the Gods" (at the same time she drafted Crescent City), it makes me wonder if she has something up her sleeve regarding this...?

Why do motorsport personalities (drivers in particular) and celebrities in general still shade other celebrities/Motorsport personalities on their social media comments when they know that it’s unnecessary and will bring with one of them if not both hate?

The comment “F” was unnecessary and lame, I wouldn’t be too offended if I were Lance Stroll and it happens to all drivers anyway (although he is being picked at since he entered the league) but it still wasn’t an opinion wrote in a personal page of his with more than 1 letter.

Comments like this , nowadays make me believe that the disrespect is higher than what I imagined a year or even only 6 months ago. The mentality to comment them must be small because they have no purpose other than to publicly throw shade. I guess, it gets me because he’s in F3 and knows better also for his own image and career’s sake meanwhile non famous people seem to unfortunately be so comfortable to do it often.

Because if I have to be frank, I now believe that taking people/things for granted and acting stupid is a form of disrespect and even weakness and a sign of low IQ. (For all my Girlbosses with high standards out there)

Or maybe it’s because I have developed and reinforced once again my morals and I am stricter and genuinely offended by small lame mentalities.

Hi. I've been thinking about creating a movie about the HGs as well and I'd like to ask a few things:

Is it a good idea to introduce the winner directly? As the only protagonist. I know which tribute I want to win but there are also more interesting tributes.

I currently only have the base game, does that make it difficult to create the movie?

Where do you find jackets for the arena suit with so many colors? I'd like to follow the tradition of colors in each district.

Oh my goodness, these are a lot of questions, but let me try to answer them:

That's exactly the route I'm going for with the 45th. The first scene is Chaff's victory interview, after which we go back in time to see his life back in District 11. Of course, other tributes will be introduced gradually, but the main focus will be on him. I know my idea so far was to introduce a character who has a smaller role in the story and shift the focus to the true protagonist as the story goes, but since I received some criticism because some viewers felt cheated, I'll give them exactly what they want this time and start with the victor. Well, some people will complain that it's predictable, but hey, you can't please everyone. Either approach has its advantages and disadvantages.

Unfortunately, making a movie if you have base game only will be pretty difficult. First of all, you don't have weather changes which are a part of Seasons. Then, you won't have mutts (I used Cats and Dogs for the mutts, but perhaps you could use zombie or other custom occults as mutts. You need mods for that, though). Then, if you try to use Jess's Cornucopia, it will not show up properly in your game because she uses several packs, the most important one being Spa Day. The Capitol scenes were filmed in San Myshuno, which is a part of City Living. Lastly, the arena options will be limited. You only have 3 base game worlds, which are Willow Creek, Oasis Springs, and Newcrest. Out of all the 3, the only suitable one is Oasis Springs (which Jess used for the 60th), unless you want an urban arena. There are also the secret worlds — Sylvan Glade (which is a fairy world, but the problem is that there's no night time, so you won't be able to do the fallen) and Forgotten Grotto (which is the cave I used in the 43rd, but it's pretty small for an arena and once again you'll struggle to make the fallen). There's also the option to use the bigger lots and build your own arena on multiple lots, but keep in mind that it will be harder for your sims to stay hidden so unless you want short games I don't recommend it. I have a lot of packs and that helps a lot.

Well, the jackets are generally from packs, so if you have base game only, then I can't give them to you. I also make my own recolours using Sims 4 Studio, so you need to learn that if you want custom jackets. You could search for cc jackets online, but from personal experience, those are hard to find for both male and female sims. If you also plan to use child sims, you've just made your life ten times harder because their options are even more limited.

I mean, Effie seemed to care about Katniss and Peeta after their victory, and Cinna also supported Katniss, so I don't see why it wouldn't apply to other escorts or stylists. However, I believe that most of them either don't care because they see the Games as a fun celebration, or if they do care, they don't know how to help the tributes besides giving them tips on how to be more popular in the Capitol.

Those are base game tracksuits, and you can find them by searching "cas unlock" on the gallery. However, if you are not planning to buy packs, I suggest avoiding child sims because their tracksuits are from Spa Day.

No, that's fine by me. I didn't plan on exploring Wiress's games, but if someone else wants to, then I will happily encourage them to do so.

I finally have a job after being unemployed for 3 months. I left my last job due to harassment from upper management, who were not shy about how controlling they can and will be. It was not fun being 1 of 2 POC in an office full of white people. It was my first office job, too. So I am already not fond of corporate America. Prior to losing my job, I did a decent job at saving up my money (thanks to my BF who takes care of our date nights and other outings). But seeing as to how much things cost, I still raked up thousands in CC debt, haha! Additionally, my car insurance rate went up by $100/ month due to ‘inflation’ (I call BS and really CEOs are trying to squeeze out the life and money common folk have left). I’m also getting nervous because the holidays are approaching and I need to buy food, gifts, decor and blah blah blah. All this to say I feel like there’s more tough times coming ahead and trying to pay it all off will not be simple.

On a brighter note, it’s almost been a year since I secured my first apartment. I spent years before this wishing I could live on my own. It’s a big accomplishment of mine. Before obtaining my apartment, I still held out hope that I’d be able to afford a house with my S/O. Boooy was that dream crushed real quick. Although my one bedroom apartment is quite meager, I still appreciate the fact that I’ve been able to pay my rent every month and that me, my boyfriend and my two cats have a safe place to eat and slumber peacefully.

Sometimes my mind enters a dark place and refuses to have hope for easier times where money isn’t an issue. So far in my adulthood, it really feels like I’ve been getting to know the world more and how bad it really is. Growing up, you always hear lectures about the “real world” and how tough it is and blah blah. I will admit it is very tough. But I’ve come to understand that it’s only so tough because of the people in control of everything. It’s tough because the system was made to be tough. Especially for anyone in minority groups or people with unstable home lives. I’ve learned so much of disparities that exist and evil acts committed in the past by vile people to remain in control of the economy. I’ve also come to learn how many ‘different companies’ are owned by only 1 or 2 other companies. How easy it is for rich people to evade punishment and how difficult it is for lower class people’s and minorities to have their basic needs met.

Really I’ve learned that this existence is a facade. Unless you start a successful business or become an internet sensation/celebrity, you’ll always live a life of trying to scrape by, working most days while older generations critique younger people for being lazy (despite most of us having 2 or more jobs to get by!). Not everyone can own a business or become a celebrity. Not everyone WANTS that. The belief that you can do anything in this country just by pulling up your boot straps is false. I am also understanding why certain people want history to be eased or told differently than it actually happened. The world is bad, but it is so much worse than I thought.

That’s not to say there isn’t any good in life. There definitely is. It’s just difficult to find. There’s a saying about knowing there’s kindness in the world because one is kind. I like to think it’s true. I try to be kind as often as I can. I try to appreciate the small things in life as often as I can.

But how long of that will I have to do, will others have to do, until we are able to have our needs met. When businesses aren’t charging an arm and a leg for food or clothes. Donation centers selling second hand clothing are even inflating their prices. In addition to corporations squeezing money out of everyone, there’s also the feeling of impending doom resulting from Climate change and/or nuclear war. Despite the world literally dying and flowers growing in Antártica, everyone still must adhere to the working standards for large corporations. Will it only end when everyone’s dead?

-Paranormal Activity Riktor... Obviously. Derringer IS one more or less. Kurt is Literally undead Tarrel has no choice but to believe what he sees. Moira would have rathered not to find out, personally. They freak her out. No-one else of note.

-Orphan Riktor often dreamt his late mother would emerge from the depths of the water to take his soul, for whatever reason. Possibly guilt that he'd never found her body. Derringer cannot feel fear, but he used Riktor's fear against him once. Kurt's biggest fear when he was first made was that he wouldn't have any friends. The fact he only Really Clicked with One, lost them, and then spent something around 8000 years looking for them... Didn't go well mentally. Tarrel was afraid of the dark, like any normal child... He hates it even more now, knowing what monsters lie within it, but when you're a Roman you live in Rome... No-one else of note. (Vyra doesn't wish to speak about this.)

-Texas Chain Saw Massacre Obviously the whole crew is in a carpool, sooo! Riktor likes Driving, but he'd MUCH rather be the map. Noah gets the wheel, probably. Moira's the most responsible so she's in charge of snacks... And in charge of keeping Jackson, Sparrow and Kurt away from the bag of snacks. NOBODY is trusted with the aux cord. That is a turn-based system until they weed out who's going to blast earrape and shitty techno music the whole ride. Tarrel's asleep the whole ride unless something breaks down. He's like a Trunk Monkey, only comes up if you need him. That's how he likes it, nicer to sleep than to watch the chaos.

[CC] -Misery Samson's had many run-ins with freezing weather, even having to work in such conditions given his status as just a peasant in the working colonies. He wouldn't understand the concept of Winter Fun, but if you taught him he'd have alot of fun with it. The Tourist likes nothing more than sitting in warm lighting, enjoying a warm cup of something brown. Tea, coffee, cocoa, he really doesn't care. The Doctor's too insane to do anything but run more experiments. No rest for the wicked! The Rider has no sense for such childish games, they have more important matters to attend to. M23 is a robot... It can handle cold weather though! It'd probably just do home maintenance to keep itself busy. [DiTD] -Scream Henry loves anything Sci-Fi or Supernatural. He loves the idea of there being more to this world than what he can see on the surface. So, Andromeda doesn't really watch movies buuut he'd watch anything Gabe put on... Partly because he doesn't really have a choice, but mostly because he just enjoys her company. Chohko can't see, but she loves audiobooks, anything that can get chills sent up her spine. They usually just make her hungry though.
