In the small town of Knock, Ireland 1879, Our Lady appeared to two women in the back of the town church. Mary was clothed in white garments and wearing a brilliant crown. By her side was St. Joseph and St. John the Evangelist. Behind them, an altar with a lamb and a cross on it. The women called several others to the church who were also able to see this miracle. 10 days after the apparition a young girl, born deaf, was able to hear. By the end of the 1800s, over 300 cures were recorded by the parish priest. One-and-a-half million people make a pilgrimage to Knock annually.

A day in the life with my family(illustrated):

Three of my siblings and my sisters boyfriend trying to get my cat to join them on the trampoline(note her expression)

lady d's "what have you done to my daughters?" line lives in my head absolutely rent free. I go on youtube to watch it/listen to it and make the mistake of taking a peek at the comments: one person praises the characterization and acting. I agree. a whole bunch of, I presume, dudes reply that actually she is not a good mother at all and clearly she doesn't love them because lol they're not even her real daughters what are you smoking

it was a beautiful moment. I don't think I had ever felt the urge to cringe and whisper stupid man-thing under my breath so much as I did after reading those. bonding moment with lady d and daughters achieved 🤝
