He’s a solid 4th liner i mean this in the best most complimentary way possible… he does SO well … throw him out there to rest your first line and the puck might just do good things!!! my defensively responsible little guy…!! like. i love hard workers they are so dear to me <3

Low key underrated shooter? mostly in that i don’t know if i ever saw him pass loooool but yeah no he has more goals than assists this past season like IF the puck is on his stick he WILL shoot it godbless !!

Plays the body when defending, plays the body when forechecking <3. i love you grundy and so does the mike grier Size/Skill/Will agenda. with this trade we are swapping hitter for hitter, but making room on our blue line (Shakir full time NHL arc???? Grundy might genuinely be a great fit for the Sharks Culture Plan because i never saw a game where he wasn’t extremely invested and intense … i liked that about him vewwy much but that might just be me and my penchant for becoming attached to random depth players 🥹

More broadly, the pattern of picking up guys who need a new opportunity marches on… dellandrea and now grundstrom. we may not have uhhh affordable housing or more than 20 wins but the one thing sj does have in spades is ice time <3

i do wonder what all this does to our guys in the AHL who’ve been very hungry to break through but ough. alas. </3 perhaps that’s a conversation best had on a podcast and not by me, i can’t be objective here!!

Kyle Burroughs played way too many minutes on a bare bones Sharks defense please don’t look at his uuhhh -42 rating and take it seriously 😭

he might look like a silly guy from a 2010s sitcom but he is in fact a GOON!!! the fighting majors… lordy….. also i haven’t checked the stats recently but last time i did he was right up in the leaderboards for hits.

this move from LA does puzzle me!! Clarke and Spence should be getting more priority ice time next season. the Burroughs trade would push them out of the lineup unless Burroughs is getting put in the AHL or lak get rid of another defenseman.

perhaps an omen? Matt Roy leaving? or perhaps noted gorgeous leg weight Andreas Englund? <- i’m more inclined to this as it seems Burroughs and Englund would occupy the same role!!

🌲 @hellofromthehallowoods (143) season 4 is gripping me by the lapels, screaming “do you UNDERSTAND?!” In my face while I stammer that I am not sure if I understand. I LOVE it though. It’s so fun listening to show where you can trust the creator to take risks and know that it will pay off if you pay attention and keep your red string handy. I love the idea that the god of change and rebirth is affecting the actual narrative - it’s so cool! Though, I want to grab Marolmar by the antlers and fling him somewhere nasty. If Nikignik gets (more) hurt, there will be blood.

🍎 I finished @notquitedeadpod S2 these past few weeks which was GRIPPING as hell. I listened to the Q+A today and I have to say that it’s one of my fave Q+As ever, there was so much genuine thought and detail put into the answers. I can only dream of producing such a coherent, interesting response to any question about my own work! SO excited for S3, especially given that we're about to get into the vampire science!!!! let's gooo!!!

not gtting into spoilers but at some point the creator changes his mind abt the character thanks to the tma discord resulting in s5 martin being Not the same character as the rest of the podcast and my friend, it still enrages me the way he took a great character w/ what could have been great foreshadowing / great tragic arc / great and logical and appropriately tragic resolution of the story and made it so fucking dull (in my humble opinion, of course)

Hey! It’s both funny and tragic how quickly he changes his mind. You probably already know this, but him acting as the skeptic was a defense mechanism and he hoped that pretending they didn’t exist would mean they couldn’t hurt him. A recurring theme of the podcast is people not being safe even if they’re oblivious to the paranormal. Neither knowing nor lack of knowing can save you, and that’s horrifying. The worm attack made him realize that. And how he is so scared of being a mystery and he sees how easily he could become one with what happened to Gertrude, and ohhh boy.I have so many thoughts about Jon and half of them are just incoherent screams.

Ough Martinnn :(. He had to spend multiple years terrified that he’ll be found out and fired, and then he gets transferred to the Archives and Jon immediately starts projecting talking about how incompetent Martin is. Imagine how terrifying that is. And he does all this for his mother, which… I won’t spoil anything, but it absolutely kills me for multiple reasons. I just want him to be happy :(

I truly cannot recommend this podcast enough. I adore both of the hosts, it's got some comedy, and it's created by two trans people (one of whom is autistic as well!) who frequently discuss trans issues on the show!

LeGaL LGBT Bar NY Podcast ⚖️

This is a podcast run by the LeGaL LGBT Bar of NY, which is a prominent player in LGBT issues in the federal judiciary. (Yes, this is another SCOTUS podcast lol.) It's not as radical as 5-4 (though episode 136 was refreshing), but I adore the episodes were Professor Art Leonard goes over that month's Law Notes issue and talks about the cases described in the issue.

On The Ledge 🌱

Cute houseplant podcast. My favorite episodes are 214 and 215, in which she chats with Ashley Esakin my beloved, a soil scientist!

You're Wrong About 📖

Truly a classic. The first podcast I ever fell in love with. YWA is a podcast about debunking some incorrect popular understandings, but also oftentimes it's just the hosts giving me excellent long-winded fun facts (+ some comedy in the process) and I ADORE it.

Favorite episodes include the Princess Diana series (ofc), the DC Snipers series, and the Michelle Remembers satanic panic series :) (Among so many others though!! Feel free to anon me asking for a full list of my favorite YWA eps, but be prepared for the ensuing long ass post lol.)
