I’m so intrigued by Gem’s insistence on playing the game. Even when Joel tells her that everyone else shouldn’t try to kill her she shrugs and says that they should, in “the spirit of the game”. She’s playing this like an actual video game, shes almost like a speedrunner trying to make even her deaths strategic.
