The writers wasted Gideon so much. I understand that it would have been terrible to keep him at 20 with all that trauma and for Rumbelle to miss seeing him grow up, but resetting his life feels wrong. All those memories were wiped, yes they may have been bad memories, but even so, that’s his life.

Also what happened to him in season 7???

Gideon is probably the easiest to imagine, because we see a bit of him grown up, at the end of Beauty, in season 7.

He seemed to give off nerdy vibes like his mother. He was apparently so intelligent he was accepted into a prestigious boarding school. So I took that idea and ran with it.
