THE ZARLIE KISS
I am SHAKING.
Behrad's totem lights up without Zari 1.0 touching it. A gust of wind picks up in the room. Charlie realizes she can't wait another moment.
CHARLIE Wait!
Charlie sweeps towards Zari 1.0 --
CHARLIE (CONT'D) I've wanted to do this ever since I met you --
-- Knowing what's coming, Zari smiles and lets Charlie bring her in for an incendiary KISS. Two-years packed into one kiss. The Legends watch, gobsmacked.
BEHRAD That explains a lot...
CHARLIE Okay, now get out of here.
Zari tries to keep her emotions in check --
ZARI 1.0 Goodbye.
The WIND whips up faster now as Zari 1.0 dematerializes and her essence returns inside the Air Totem (see Ep. 514).
The totem goes dark and the wind dies down. Nate stares after Zari then looks to Charlie, his heart in his throat.
NATE I need a drink.
AVA Me, too.
CHARLIE I know the perfect place.
