Movie night as practically a must with you and Rhett. There���s no compromise unless something comes up. Friday nights and weekends are strictly reserved for movie night

As soon as he’s done in the field, showered and eaten dinner, the kids get their baths done and then it’s down to the basement 

And you’d better believe that the babies are excited for it. They’re grabbing their blankies, their stuffies and a pillow off their beds before they head down to the basement to set up their spots

The Goonies, Indiana Jones, Legend, Lord of The Rings, Time Bandits, the original Star Wars movies, Harry Potter, you name it, he’s watched it

He has amazing memories of Indiana Jones which is why it’s his favorite. When he was little, Royal spoiled him for his fifth birthday and took him to an outdoor theater where Raiders of The Lost Ark was playing. They saved up for a year and a half and when Rhett turned six, he got to go to Disneyland with Royal’s parents and went on the Indiana Jones ride only to return to Wabang with the full getup (lol)

Your kids absolutely LOVE The Goonies. Every time they go out and ride their bikes with their friends, they pretend that they’re gonna go look for One-Eyed Willie’s treasure

Rhett felt so bad when Amy watched the second Toy Story movie for the first time. Resounding Love and Understanding (pt. 4)

What Ella doesn’t know is the story behind Cecelia’s familial betrayal and it lies in the obvious reason why the maze is called Infinite. The name sticks and no one goes in or out without a good reason to. If Cecelia was anything like Alice had said, if she was truly stuck there, her determination would have gotten her out in some way. Cecelia was wrong choosing to sacrifice her own happiness for her family’s, something Rapunzel also attempted to do, without giving them as much as a goodbye or a clue to where she was going once she found out she had been poisoned. But she had done so with good intentions in lieu of hindsight.

Ella is too despondent to think about anything else and asks defeatedly, ”Why else would she?”

Cecelia didn’t leave on a whim and Alice defends Cecelia’s memory by showing Ella proof on why her mother left. Alice pulls back her shirt sleeve to reveal a spiral burn mark on her wrist, prompting, “Look familiar?”

*cue the sad Knightrook theme and watch me sob*

While Alice knew the full extent of the mark, how it cruelly connects and repels loved ones like herself and her papa, Ella wouldn’t have.

To Ella, it would have been a weird burn or birthmark her father had which held no meaning. Even if she had asked about the mark, it’s doubtful that her father would have answered. She would be even less determined to ask after he came back from his journey as a shell of himself, her mother gone for good, creating the tension that current Ella still feels.

Luckily, Ella does recognize it and asks, "Yeah. My father had a mark just like that. What is it?" It’s a straightforward question, blunt just like her personality, but it unintentionally emotionally hurts Alice.

Potentially, there is residual physical pain too as when Ella reaches out to touch Alice’s wrist in an attempt to examine it closer, Alice pulls her arm out of Ella’s reach and moves out her chair as if someone’s touch could sting or inflame it more. There are a few shots in the season and definitely one in this episode where Alice grabs onto her wrist after her papa’s heart flares green with poison when she’s too close in his vicinity.

Fortunately, she takes no offense to Ella’s curious actions and proceeds to provide closure to her mother's death and reason for leaving. Alice continues in a more hastened and angered manner, walking the length of the table and describing the mark/curse replying, “It’s part of the curse of the Poisoned Heart.”

“It appears when you’re touched by the one you can’t be with.”

Her anger dissipates to one of inner sadness. Her words drift off as she recalls the grimness of what she’s saying, a mark she’ll forever bare.

Ella empathizes with Alice, having seen firsthand the outcome of those affected by the curse earlier with Hook and Alice being repelled by the curse. She worriedly starts, ”But if my father had the same mark…”

Her eyes are brimming with tears as she comes round the table to meet up with Alice.

Alice supports Ella for coming to her own conclusion with a nod and raised eyebrows, implying, “Yes, you see now?”

Ella finishes her sentence, confirming they’re on the same page, “My mother’s heart was poisoned too.” She appears remorseful and stunned as she manages to conclude that her thoughts of her mother leaving had nothing to do with no longer loving them or her father. It was really so that her parents wouldn’t have to watch their love in pain, one dying and one emotionally wrecked.

“She never stopped loving us. She left to protect us.”

Ella takes in that her mother loved them all enough to let them go.

I love how it is with these lines that Ella holds close to her heart her mother’s locket. Before she had just been gripping it loosely in her hand more out of possession and disappointment, until then, in which it transforms symbolically into an item bringing her comfort and pride.

In tumbles what I’d call the Knightrook theme again as a familial sentiment is declared.

Alice gives Ella a wry smile. Maybe it was a good thing that she was alive to have met Ella after all. She imparts a grave statement but well intended remark to make light of the situation, “Trust me, if your touch could kill the one you love, you’d want to be lost too.” This line relates to Alice and both of Ella’s parents. I’d give it a chef kiss.

Ella was born to a loving mother. Not much is known about her biological father but it's clear he's not in the picture, abandoning her in some form whether he had control over that or not. She's later adopted by a man who loved her very much. It can be argued that she had an amazing childhood up until her early teens when Rapunzel returned. After that, Ella thought her mother simply abandoned her.

While Ella was still loved by her father, it doesn't change that Rapunzel abused her and turned her into a servant. She later killed the only ally Ella had: Marcus, her beloved father.

Later on, Ella gives birth to a daughter whom she does everything to stay with. She shares her worry before the curse is cast that she won't know how to find her. With Hook's help, she is able to stay with her daughter under the curse-even if she has to share custody of her with Tremaine.

Ella fights for her daughter's safety and makes sure that no matter what: she will never feel neglected or abandoned.

Short Backstory

Princess Skia Thanatos Aoratos of the underworld was born on the isle of the lost to Persephone and Hades (who are in an open relationship). She is a middle child who soon met and befriended her captain, Hannah Hook , in their early years. The two of them soon became nearly inseparable and did everything together, learning side by side all they needed to know to traverse the world.

Hannah became her human charge not long after they met after Skia decided that she and Hannah were gonna be friends for life. She was there for nearly every major moment of Hannah's life, including that fateful night She won her ship (she was sleeping on the floor by Hannah's chair and doesn't remember much from that night). After that, she and Hannah trained side by side under the Hook family and the other friendly pirates of the isle, and made names for their selves. Driving just about everyone (mainly Gaston, Frollo, and Ratclifee) insane as they did so.

Hannah eventually deemed Skia her second mate and the navigator of their crew because Skia is the only one who's even remotely good at navigating things. She basically follows Hannah around like a puppy back She's a young immoral who doesn't have anything better to do. And that works out pretty well for both of them.

Once Upon A Time Rewatch: 7x09 One Little Tear

Love the opening of this episode.

It was a really interesting decision to make Rapunzel also Tremaine. Who watches Tangled and thinks, “Ah yes, she grows up to become the wicked stepmother from Cinderella.” 

I actually really like young Rapunzel. She goes through absolute hell and she’s extremely determined. A combination that can inevitably lead to disaster if the character walks a destructive path.

I just realised Rapunzel’s Witch having a garden is likely influenced by Into the Woods, though it could be from one of the original tales. “Greens, greens and nothing but greens!”

It’s weird to think Gothel is way older than Rumple. I imagine she’s older than the Blue Fairy as well, but who knows anything when it comes to Blue.

Poor Rapunzel. Gothel, why are you like this?

Alice must have been marking each day she was trapped as well for her to know exactly how many days she was trapped for. Or maybe she just worked it out by adding them up each time the second star to the right blinked to the north. 

Those lanterns look so pretty. It looks like Anastasia and Drizella let off hundreds of them.

Also, how is it humanly possible for someone’s hair to grow that long in, like, 6 years? The only explanation is Gothel put a spell on it but why? Why didn’t she do the same with Alice’s hair? She didn’t need to brush it to stay young as she was able to stop or significantly slow her aging process for many years before that. I think it was significantly slowed as she seemed to be a teenager or young adult when her family were killed but appears to be in, maybe her late 30s by the time she gives birth to Alice.

But that does make me wonder if Alice can age properly up to a certain point? Did her own physical aging significantly slow after she reached young adulthood? Does she perhaps physically grow a year older every 100 years or so? That seems to be the case with Gothel. And, of course, Alice could take after her father in that sense but it’s fun to think about and she did inherit Gothel’s magic after all.

Oh! Rapunzel wasn’t even being held within the tower by a magical barrier. Imagine when she met Wish Hook and he was like, “Oh yeah, I climbed down and up that tower every day. No big deal.” She would probably want to scream. But I’m with her on this one. Without a rope that tower would be impossible to climb up or down. Maybe she just didn’t think of using her hair before, or Gothel was guarding her or maybe she’s just terrified of heights which is freaking relatable.

I do feel for her. All those 6 years and the only thing keeping her going was the thought of coming back to her family. Finding out that she can’t get back to that, especially since she had made that sacrifice for them, must have been so painful. I wonder if she didn’t use her hair as a rope previously because she was worried that if she escaped her family, with or without her, would lose their happiness and go back to a life of extreme poverty.

Her utter devastation. And poor Ella and Cecelia are caught in the middle of it. They did nothing wrong and they lose each other and everything as a result of entering the family.

So, is the Tweedle that actor also played in Ouatiw related to Marcus?

He still loves Rapunzel. What a difficult situation to be in for everyone involved and she still clearly loves him. Heck, the thought of him and her daughters was all that kept her going for 6 years of hell. The thought of that image that was all you had being destroyed upon being free is horrible. And for it to be so close to her reach, knowing he still loves her, that he would have her back if only the one person stands in her way could part from him. What she did was extremely wrong, but I actually think a lot of people would have done the same thing in her situation if they had a magic solution that didn’t have to result in death. 

I forgot Rapunzel initially refused to hurt Cecilia because she saw her as an innocent, which she was. She thought she’d never be that person.

How did Marcus not suspect that it was her who did something to Cecelia? Rapunzel got her family back out of Cecelia’s heart being poisoned. Who else stood to gain anything from that? I suppose he assumed it had to be a magic user, thinking it was a spell. Or maybe he thought Rapunzel incapable of such a deed. The woman before the tower would never have done such a thing, perhaps. I bet Cecelia knew what she’d done.

Bahahahaha! The thought of Rumple shoving his dagger into Sabine’s hand and asking if she feels anything lmao. Why does that seem like a creepily sexual thing to do? Sabine seems so disturbed. 

He must have suspected Tiana was a potential Guardian. I wonder if she could be. And I wonder if Rumple would have been willing to burden her or even Anastasia with immortality, considering he didn’t know them as well as Alice.

Why did Tremaine suddenly start pronouncing Anastasia’s name like that? It’s presumably wrong because she used to say it the way everyone else does when she was young Rapunzel. Maybe it’s a little joke they had between them or something. 

She’s doing the same thing she learned to do those 6 years while she was trapped. She’s holding onto the memory of Anastasia and expecting her to be exactly as she was when they were separated. That’s why she fixates so much on Anastasia, because she was just how she remembered her before she was trapped in the tower (albeit older). She was the only person or thing that remained the same and who lived up to her memories and imagination.

You know what, Rapunzel was straight up traumatized. She spent all those years in isolation. I never thought of it like that before. Her actions were terrible and inexcusable, but that trauma certainly informed them. Of course, Alice didn’t react the way she did, but everyone reacts differently to traumatic events. Girl needed therapy. Cecelia, Rapunzel’s relationship to Drizella and even Ella could have been saved. Where was Archie when they needed him? Even in present Hyperion Heights you can tell how much those events have both physically and mentally scarred her.

Tremaine: “And for the record, that girl out there hasn’t been my daughter for a very long time.” God, I feel for Drizella here.

Aren’t Disney making a ‘Tremaine’ movie? To be honest they can’t top this backstory. What are they gonna do, show us a bunch of mice beating her mum with a broom and shoving her off a cliff?!

Is Rapunzel their maid?

Cecelia seems so nice. I bet she was a kind mother figure to Alice.

Cecelia was totally ready to invite Rapunzel into their marriage. They could have had a poly relationship if they were all game. 

I think Ella might be the oldest. She’s a lot taller than Anastasia.

Marcus shows signs of wanting to invite her into their marriage too. I wonder if he’s still technically married to both. Maybe they should have outright asked her. Or maybe it just wasn’t for her or wasn’t approved of in the NEF.

Drizella’s just a kid, of course it was gonna be hard for her to adapt to having her birth mother back. For 6 years of her 10 years of life Cecelia was probably the only mother she remembered. She might have seen Rapunzel as a threat to her relationship with Cecelia. 

I understand it must really hurt Rapunzel to see her daughter not giving her a chance and pouring all her affections into her other mother. You can see it’s killing her. 

Rapunzel snapped. 

Rumple is so irritated by Gothel calling herself “Mother Gothel’ on behalf of Alice. It probably makes him think of What he thought was his own mother’s abandonment of him.

Why is Gothel hinting that Tremaine is after Lucy? Doesn’t she want Anastasia awake? 

Victoria’s being a creep. 

Ella, don’t go after the hat! It’s not worth it, girl.

Aww. Anastasia was worried about Ella and followed her. I tend to forget how many years they spent just growing up as sisters.

Marcus was gonna show Rapunzel how much he valued her. Was he gonna propose to her again or was he gonna do something else?

I’m not sure if he specifically went after Ella because of favouritism or if she was the first one he saw. It was fine that he saved Ella first but for God’s sake, save your other daughter too! He gave up so quickly! Rapunzel must have fished her out herself. Maybe he was hurt or something. I have to believe that, otherwise that’s just cruel and it seems like he doesn’t care about Anastasia at all. And I would say the same if he saved Anastasia first and left Ella. The only thing is that if he’d saved Anastasia first and was too tired to save Ella, I don’t know if Rapunzel would dive in to save Ella. She might have done if the other girls begged her. It’s not fair to put so much blame on Ella. Anyone could have made the mistake of going for the hat and she was just a kid. They shouldn’t have let them play there in the first place! And if she blames Ella for Marcus saving her first, that’s ridiculous because it was completely out of Ella’s control.

Interestingly, Victoria insists to Lucy that she is her family but earlier she said that Drizella hasn’t been her daughter in a long time. Does that mean she sees Ella as a daughter? She certainly doesn’t show it.

Wow. Grandmother of the year.

So, the blood magic couldn’t be broken by Anastasia’s mother potentially taking her place? I always assumed it was the blood of the tower’s occupant that kept them trapped but it makes more sense that it’s always been Gothel’s blood that kept any occupant trapped since she used blood magic before she tried to trap Anastasia and had access to her blood. So, Wish Hook could never have taken Alice’s place, which I think I always knew but somehow didn’t put the pieces together that it was Gothel’s bloodline magic that kept Alice entrapped and not Alice’s.

Ha! She got you, Gothel! Serves you freaking right!

Listen, that move was badass on Rapunzel’s part.

Bless Rumple, frantically searching for his great-granddaughter. I’m not sure we ever saw those two interact.

This tear magic is weird. The fact that Lucy’s tears can be used to break curses in a way that puts her under a curse is so dangerous. Every time she cries, they need to collect those tears and burn them or something. Emma’s tears were used to keep Hook separated from her, so it must run in the family. Keep those tears in a safe, Charmings!  

So, I guess Lucy wasn’t under a sleeping curse then? Presumably she suffered the same fate as Anastasia had all those years. I mean, it’s between life and death, so it could be the Neverworld. I’m not sure. That’s probably why True Loves kiss didn’t work between Henry and Lucy when she was in the hospital.

God, poor Lucy. Jacinda must have been terrified.

That was a great episode! I found young Rapunzel to be so complex and compelling. Her backstory was great!

30 Days of LadyHero Day 10 ; Wearing each other's clothes

Pairing: LadyHero - Victoria Belfrey/Lady Rapunzel Tremaine and King Arthur. Characters: Victoria, Arthur, Ivy, Lucy & Ella. Also featuring Cecelia bc I wanted a OT3 oneshot. Victoria is pregnant and is wearing some of Arthur's clothes. Particularly his jumpers. Arthur, Victoria and Cecelia's little boy Jack is walking and accidentally goes in the closet and picks up his mommy's famous red louboutins. Jack hands his daddy Arthur the shoes before Arthur puts them back, however Jack gets upset and Ivy tells him to wear the shoes so Arthur has to wear a pair of Victoria's shoes so he's walking round wearing a pair of his wife's shoes. Cecelia sees Arthur wearing their wife's shoes and has to put a picture on Instagram. Lucy and Ella burst into laughter as does Victoria who laughs very hard. So Arthur, Cecelia and Victoria are married, and also in this Verse for this specific one shot, Amelia is with Killian and Ingrid. Arthur is Ivy and Ana's dad in this. And the OT3 has a son, Victoria is pregnant with her and Arthur's daughter, that is biologically theirs. Their son with Cecelia is biologically all three of theirs and was carried by Victoria, he's one, his name is Jack. Victoria was pregnant with her and Arthur's child. Jack, their son with Cecelia was one years old, and Victoria was pregnant again. Carrying her and Arthur's child. Jack was experimenting with walking still and while his mommy was sat downstairs with his mom, wearing his father's jumpers, he was upstairs. He soon toddled into his parents room. Arthur had just had a shower so he came out of the on-suite. Arthur came out of the bathroom with his boxers on to see his son roaming around the room. He was shocked because he thought Jack was with Cecelia and Victoria. He got dressed for the day and saw that Jack had soon toddled into his mommy Victoria's closet. "Oh no, what's he looking for now." Arthur thought to himself as he saw his son look in his mommy's closet. Jack was looking for Christmas presents. And yes he is one, but he loves Christmas. Arthur went over as he knelt down to his son's height. "Hey Jack what have you got there?" He asked. Jack pulls out his mommy's famous red loubotions. "Papa find Dis.." He says, Jack had started talking his first word was mooo, which he meant to say mommy for Victoria, he can say mommy now. That was a very special moment for Victoria. He could say Mama after he said mooo which then became mommy before he learnt how to say papa. Arthur looks at the shoes his son is holding. "Jack... they are mommy's famous red loubotions. She won't want you to mess them up will she?" He says as he picks his son up and puts him on the bed. Jack looks at him with a pleading look and hands the shoes to him. Arthur takes the shoes and puts them back which starts Jack off with crying. Ivy heard the crying and came to them. "Dad.. I think you should just wear the shoes." Ivy says. "Or at least a pair of mother's shoes...." Arthur sighed and gave in to his son. He decided to not wear the famous pair though and put a pair of his wife's shoes on. He then took his son downstairs walking holding his son in one arm and having one hand on the banister he walked downstairs. When he got downstairs he went into the living room and handed Jack to his mommy. Victoria smiled at Arthur and cuddled her son close to her tickling him. Cecelia then started laughing at Arthur and taking pictures of him because she noticed the shoes. Victoria then looked at Cecelia. "Why are you laughing at our husband?" She asked. "Vic look at his feet...." Cecelia said still laughing at him. Victoria looked at Arthur's feet and chuckled. "Well you look pretty but I bet somebody can't walk properly, come here and let me take those of for you." Arthur nods as he sits next to his wife. "There you go Mrs Belfrey." Victoria laughed a little as she took the shoes of for him. They had a bit of a moment together with their son and their unborn child, Arthur's hand on her stomach rubbing it slightly. Cecelia went and sat next to Victoria helping Jack onto his mommy after she had put the pictures on Instagram. Ella and Lucy soon walked in. The two were laughing at the pictures on Instagram, as was Ivy who had walked in from downstairs and sat next to her dad. "What is so funny?" Victoria asked before Cecelia showed her her Instagram page and that she put the pictures on and she laughed very hard. Arthur chuckled. "Never again. I wonder if Killian has it like this with my sister and Ingrid." Victoria chuckled and leaned into her husband. "It's just a bit of fun and I did find it funny too." The whole family would find the joke funny for a long time, Cecelia the most because she took the pictures. It would be family dinner tradition to talk about it. And the family would enjoy it. ~~~ This is Day 10 which was and is from November 10th which was postponed due to my birthday week being busy and working. I hope you enjoyed this one shot. Soph.

Ruviel is a peaceful kingdom, with very little major conflict with its neighbors. In fact, it was considered almost boring until James appeared and swept then-Princess Eudora off her feet, injecting a sense of life and merriment into the court, which spread across the kingdom.

Marcus Tremaine settled in the capital, Riara from Noduri after the disappearance of his wife, Rapunzel. It’s here that he met Duchess Cecelia Reyes and fell in love. As Cecelia was a close friend of Queen Eudora, Marcus was able to secure titles for his daughters Anastasia and Drizella, but, not wanting a fully stuffy title of his own, opted to go by Sir instead.
