Okay, I believe I am the only person who has this opinion, but when I read the caraval series, I imagined Jacks with a ponytail. In my mind, he had slightly long hair and it was up in a ponytail for some reason. I soon realized my mind had failed me.

When I then read ouabh I just imagined him with shoulder-length hair, but apparently I'm still incorrect.

Once Upon a Broken Heart fan art. I painted this with the idea that it would be a page from one of the Magnificent North’s many fairytale books. Perhaps the text is always changing?

It’s also based on the scene where Jacks and Evangeline are running from Chaos’ castle. I really enjoyed going in a more illustrative style with bold line art and flatter colors.

This is the latest Sketch-a-Wish voted by my lovely Patreon members for March! Featuring Jacks head-bonking gently encouraging Evangeline, hoping she'll remember *something*. One of my favorite scenes from A Curse For True Love!
