One thing I loved about the family dinner was the open discussion about TK’s addiction. There wasn’t any hiding, any attempt to sanitise it. There were kids present - cousins, nieces, nephews - and they know about TK, know this about him.

And I just love that they have never, not once, treated TK’s addiction as some kind of failing or flaw. No judgement, no comeback, no attempt to “protect” younger ears by skirting around it. This is their Cousin TK, their Tío TK, and he doesn’t drink because he’s sober. We love and support him in this and they can understand that, same way they can all understand and accept that Tío Carlos loves Tío TK

For all the sayings that tarlos is a poor substitute for a certain ship or got together too soon or don’t have any development or years of slow burn and realization. You know what? it is actually one of the reason I love that tarlos started the way that they were. I love that it tells a story of how two people meet and get attracted to each other, and start seeing how that grew into either a relationship or not. Because yes ! (Suprise) that is how most romantic relationships started in real life! I love how banal it is! And them not having 6 years of build-up or how they both were still dealing with their own issues and insecurities and working thru it while also working on being with each other does not make it any less valid of queer story. I hope someday we won't dismiss queer relationships and stories because of how fast they got together or how much of a family member they consist of (ehm tarlos not having kid @ fox)

I love seeing them not only have feelings for each other but the way the show portray their love as an act, that them being with each other is a conscious choice and effort they both make. I hope someday we won’t be dismissing any queer story whether they got together after six years of pinning or got together immediately. They are soulmate.

*and having queer characters portrayed by queer actors will always be a big freaking bonus.

“Okay, mamí.” Carlos let’s her crumple his will up and throw it in the trash.

He writes his second will the next day. This one he hides better.

He writes his third will after he and Iris get married.

It’s silly, to write his new boyfriend into his will, someone who, earlier that same day, had basically tried to break things off with him.

But Carlos has never felt this way about anyone.

His fifth will takes TK’s name back off, after the loft fight and the break-up.

It isn’t until weeks after TK wakes up, weeks after he holds TK in his arms on the tarmac, that Carlos writes his sixth will.

His body feels elastic. He's a whirring dynamo. He could run for miles. Swim fifty laps in an Olympic pool. Execute the perfect takedown move, pin Scott to the mat – no not Scott. Not now.

Lit by the ever-lingering oil of his touch-starved teenage soul, Carlos, as though twelve years younger, grabs and shoves TK into the wall with a thump that sends a tremor through them both.

Carlos propels his body against TK’s, fixing his mouth onto his like he doesn't know what he's doing, like he's never kissed before – but it's hard and it’s hot and TK responds much the same, as if he's become seventeen too.

TK isn't shy about it. He slams Carlos against the bathroom stall door and presses himself flush against Carlos to kiss his breath away. He's all lips and tongue and teeth and heat and Carlos has to bite back the sounds that want to spill from his mouth.

Tk licks a stripe across the column of Carlos's throat and moans, a sound that goes straight to Carlos's cock.

Carlos wanted to do that. He wants to do that.

So he shifts his weight and pushes and this time it's TK who's slammed against the wall, their hips still flush together.

"Yeah," TK breathes out as he tilts his head back in a clear invitation. The top buttons of his shirt are unbuttoned and his collar dips low, showing off his clavicle, shiny necklace framing the hollow of his throat.

Every instinct inside of Carlos reacts to that bare skin offered so freely. He can't believe how lucky he is that this gorgeous, confident and competent omega is offering himself to him like this. Carlos ducks his head and sucks on that skin, desperate to finally get a taste of TK and-

There's nothing there. Carlos tastes and smells nothing but faded cologne and beta sweat. He almost freezes in confusion, because his instincts responded so strongly to TK. So, TK must be a beta, despite what Carlos's instincts told him.

And that was TK’s biggest fear. Not that he could have this death sentence, not that he might only have a handful of years with his soulmate. It’s that he wouldn’t get to be there for Carlos (in any meaningful way). That he wouldn’t be able to love and support his husband, he wouldn’t be able to understand his pain, his fear, his loss. He wouldn’t be able to do anything even though he would be the person doing it to him.

Carlos, who felt so alone he married Iris. Carlos, who felt so alone and didn’t have a relationship with his parents.

TK never wants Carlos to be alone ever again. And if that meant they didn’t get married so that Carlos didn’t feel alone then, weird as that situation is, it’s what he would have done. He would cut away his heart, his soul, his love, to make sure that Carlos never feels alone again.

And I’m expected to go about my life like that’s not a thing?

My theory (or hope 🤞🤞) for season 7 is still the couch theory.

Sooo I feel like they knew the show was probably going to end. Since Oliver shared something like they didn’t know until few minutes before the rest of us ABC picked them up (THANK YOUUU! It be so sad if it ended!) … So with that I’m thinking they made the ending where Buck tells Natalia let’s go get a new couch. Or something right? Like they knew if it ended at least Buck will get a new couch. Sooo I’m hoping now that they know (once strike is over.) they will be back now. Sooooo I hope for season 7 Buck and Eddie are moving in together, which leads to the famous blue couch into their new place. Then they sit down and kiss on it after it’s moved in. Christopher walks in and does the tween groan at his parents kissing making both guys laugh and pull apart. Christopher sits in the middle with both his dad and Buck his bonus dad on the couch. Then it fades out to show how Buck and Eddie got together. Like how they do the rewind 12 hours earlier or something. But this could be couple months ago or even weeks or days haha. Don’t get me wrong I love Buck’s loft but yeah for Buckley Diaz Family next step is moving in together, being boyfriends, having Tarlos over in their new place, and other friends laughing around the couch. Can even do a montage just Buckley Diaz Family on the couch in their new place. Playing video games again, eating dinner Buck made as a movie plays, tickle fights, sharing kisses, drinking beer as Christopher watches a tv show, … etc !

Sooooo please Ryan Murphy, Oliver Stark, Ryan Guzman, ABC… and anyone else involved with BUDDIE make them

I'm reblogging this again because TK puts a FUCKING HALF EATEN TACO back in the box and hands it over, and Carlos is just "this is fine" about it. These boys are canonically hot for each other and so this isn't a huge thing but to actually see them sharing food like this? Like "here babe, you finish this for me" and it's just.............
