"why do people write so much for popular characters?" "why do people write for kudos only?" aside from the fact that the "write for yourself" is a self-perpetuating issue in every fandom and the fact that every writer deserves engagement with their works, it's because there are kids here. Who want to fit in and get praised for their creativity. Which they can only achieve by writing for popular stuff. So maybe take that into account.

Hello hello friend! This is such a good question! Thank you!

Suri would love to have a bachelorette party! She would want to invite her closest friends: Tina (who would help her plan everything), Farah and Morgan, Verda and Eric, and her two favorite old men in the whole world - the king and king of boring - Adam and Nate

The ideal celebration would take place in The City, as a farewell to all of the dates and the one night stands, and the flings she had within its city limits. Start out fun and light, drinks and dinner, then just spend the night dancing and singing at one of her favorite clubs with a karaoke corner. The goal would be to just let loose and have fun and celebrate friendships and relationships (I’m getting visions of the nightly dance parties from the Barbie movie)

And, of course, when she’s happy and silly later on, and draped in Nate’s lap as everything begins to wind down, she’ll make the suggestion that maybe they elope. Just them. Maybe Adam to bear witness and to get the SUV privileges. But something that Nate should really, seriously, definitely consider. Then Suri falls asleep on his shoulder

Adam and Nate make sure that everyone gets home safely, and Nate does give some serious thought to the romance of eloping, the impulsivity of it all, and maybe it’s a discussion for another day before the actual wedding

Take That! R1999 [OPEN] MAP

Hello everyone, just like I promised I am hosting a reverse 1999 map and it's theme will be about relationship (friendship & ships).

I decided on making it an open MAP so that anyone could try and participate it, even you have experience on making or just a beginner.

To submit and so easily see others, I'm going to make a tag #TakeThatR199MAP and please use it on YouTube, Tumblr and or X (Twitter) or reblog this post or chat me if it's easier for you.

Of course in every MAP there will be a few set of ground rules to follow even if it's an open MAP.

Rules :

Don't make something inappropriate! For example, don't try shipping a minor character with an older character.

The characters in this MAP must be from reverse 1999, please don't add oc or other characters from different fandoms. If you're new and haven't played it then you could still join but please look it up.

Just like in the video said, AMV, PMV or animation are also allowed if that is what you're good at.

Watermark for the apps that you're using are allowed but at least make it less than 2, also if you want to add your own then please make it subtle and don't make it too distracting.

Keep in mind that is an open MAP, which means there might be a chance that someone would've taken your part first without you knowing, if that ever happens then please try take any other part.

This also applies with the 5 rule as if there's nothing that could be done then please be respectful and accept it, this is supposed to be a fun map and I don't wish for any conflict for just a part.

This may be a somewhat compromise for 5 & 6, lyrics are not needed as there might be a chance that they'll be a few people who have the same part and I wanted to try to include them even though the music on that part might be different.

"Yeah, I guess," she finally conceded sheepishly. "Okay. That's all I wanted to hear." "Hey, wanna hear something really pathetic instead?" she suddenly asked while he was still busy warming her hands. "Back when I was living in Portland, I met this random guy at some bar... and the only reason I went home with him is because he was wearing that same stupid aftershave. And I missed you, and I don't know..." She looked down, slightly uncomfortable with her own sudden openness. "It's so lame." Gabriel knew full well to not make a big deal out of this, even though he actually did find it very endearing. She rarely ever admitted to stuff like this, least of all on her own. "Not lame at all." I just had a dream that there was a short NMTD threequel series and it was the most out of pocket shit ever. It was sci fi and apparently had aliens from a society with several xenogenders where everyone was pansexual. The word was that Beatrice wasn’t going to be in it, but then she WAS in it, and in the first episode Ben showed up at her house and said “I love you” to her four times in a single monologue, which I was thrilled about.

But then I checked the tag on tumblr to make sure TCW wouldn’t break them up again, and there was fanart where they were each dancing with a different alien, implying that they were going to leave each other for the aliens in order to canonize that they’re both bisexual/pansexual, which is stupid because being bisexual would still mean they’re attracted to each other, they wouldn’t break up over that! You don’t need to make them date other people in order for their bisexuality to count! Let them stay together!

Also they made it canon that Beatrice had moved away to another city to go to school again, which I was annoyed by and thought was OOC after how much she hated being long-distance with Ben, but I was ok with it if it was just an excuse to write Harriett out of the sequel without breaking Beadick up. But then she was still in every episode, so wtf??? Also I checked the credits in the video description and Jake McGregor had completely changed his stage name (not in a trans way, though, just in an I want a different name way, and his stage last name was also the name of his production company that was producing this series?)

Anyway, that’s what I get for thinking about Beadick before going to bed apparently? I’m cackling, wtf brain? Pansexual aliens with multiple xenogenders are cool and all, but not at the cost of my OTP! Also, worrying about TCW breaking up Beadick in a sequel- what is this, 2015? (Sorry, TCW, I know you’re not at fault for dream-you and there’s nothing wrong w trying new things lol)

Six (Eight)-Sentence Sunday

once again, this is not from ANYTHING I'm currently working on, but May IS mental health awareness month, and mental illness IS the focus of this piece, so.

She sees the way he looks at the stars, at the passage of time and all the wonders those things hold. He looks at them with a fascination more powerful than any force in the universe and that, she thinks, is love, not the way he looks at her. She knows any pitifully, humanly mundane thing such as a marriage or romantic connection could never hold the same appeal. And that alone she might be able to deal with, but she’s had a lifetime of trauma, of people telling her she’s not kind enough, not personable enough, not strong enough, not good enough, and she’s just lost her parents. She can never see Amy and Rory again, and the Doctor has retreated to God-knows-where to wallow in his own grief and she’s lost the only three people she cared about. ...Okay, that’s not really true. She cares a lot more than she can ever let on to anyone, not even her family. (A girl’s still got to have some secrets, after all.)
