Another thing I need pjsk fandom to realize:

1) there are literal 10 years old (and younger) children in this fandom;

2) the percentage of these children in the fandom is MUCH, MUCH higher than every single one of you here on tumbrl think it is.

"why do people write so much for popular characters?" "why do people write for kudos only?" aside from the fact that the "write for yourself" is a self-perpetuating issue in every fandom and the fact that every writer deserves engagement with their works, it's because there are kids here. Who want to fit in and get praised for their creativity. Which they can only achieve by writing for popular stuff. So maybe take that into account.

Take That! R1999 [OPEN] MAP

Hello everyone, just like I promised I am hosting a reverse 1999 map and it's theme will be about relationship (friendship & ships).

I decided on making it an open MAP so that anyone could try and participate it, even you have experience on making or just a beginner.

Of course in every MAP there will be a few set of ground rules to follow even if it's an open MAP.

If there's any questions then please contact me :)

Rules :

Don't make something inappropriate! For example, don't try shipping a minor character with an older character.

The characters in this MAP must be from reverse 1999, please don't add oc or other characters from different fandoms. If you're new and haven't played it then you could still join but please look it up.

Just like in the video said, AMV, PMV or animation are also allowed if that is what you're good at.

Watermark for the apps that you're using are allowed but at least make it less than 2, also if you want to add your own then please make it subtle and don't make it too distracting.

Keep in mind that is an open MAP, which means there might be a chance that someone would've taken your part first without you knowing, if that ever happens then please try take any other part.

This also applies with the 5 rule as if there's nothing that could be done then please be respectful and accept it, this is supposed to be a fun map and I don't wish for any conflict for just a part.

This may be a somewhat compromise for 5 & 6, lyrics are not needed as there might be a chance that they'll be a few people who have the same part and I wanted to try to include them even though the music on that part might be different.

#about those first two videos #i really enjoy imagining them working together to get out of an awkward situation they don't want to be in #and both of their thought processes #like i love the “you can't set the boat on fire...Explosives work better. We didn't plan ahead!” line #and i can totally see Hugo lying about his height in general for dating services. or just bumping it up to be in the 6ft range #when he's actually like around 5'11 with shoes on (at least that's just my headcanon. it's kinda hard to tell his exact height in canon)#and he just assumes whoever he matches up with is shorter than him and won't notice lol #i mean most people are. he's already a pretty big guy #also i love the idea of Hugo misreading signals between them and kissing her at the wrong time #like they're stuck in an elevator together and Noa is mostly focusing on figuring out a way to get out #but he just sees it as the perfect opportunity to get closer to her #which obviously backfires on him (no matter how good of an idea he thought it was at the time)#because even if she *does* want to make out with him in that elevator (and she totally does) she won't let herself #and she'd probably feel awful about it afterwards #like she always does whenever she accidentally ends up pushing him away and hurting his feelings #even though she'd try to convince herself that she shouldn't regret doing that to him. that it was the smart choice #but of course that doesn't work #anyway i just wanted to share my thoughts on these!#s/i: noa simmons #hugo vasquez #otp: golden shot

once again, this is not from ANYTHING I'm currently working on, but May IS mental health awareness month, and mental illness IS the focus of this piece, so.

She sees the way he looks at the stars, at the passage of time and all the wonders those things hold. He looks at them with a fascination more powerful than any force in the universe and that, she thinks, is love, not the way he looks at her. She knows any pitifully, humanly mundane thing such as a marriage or romantic connection could never hold the same appeal. And that alone she might be able to deal with, but she’s had a lifetime of trauma, of people telling her she’s not kind enough, not personable enough, not strong enough, not good enough, and she’s just lost her parents. She can never see Amy and Rory again, and the Doctor has retreated to God-knows-where to wallow in his own grief and she’s lost the only three people she cared about. ...Okay, that’s not really true. She cares a lot more than she can ever let on to anyone, not even her family. (A girl’s still got to have some secrets, after all.)

I do wonder whether underappreciating Adriel x Lilith is just the fandom being boring in rejecting m/f (sorry not sorry, no hate from this bi girl, but nothing will surpass the Satan and Lilith dynamic), or, is it because the ship is so underdeveloped.

We see Adriel "tempt" Lilith, I talk about it here. I'ts great, I loved it.

Then, there's the final battle. We see them be an evil villain power couple together.

We even see Lilith be soft towards Adriel for a moment.

But, that's it. She turns on him, without us even understanding why. It wasn't because he's evil and crazy, she knew he was evil and crazy. Also, I refuse to believe she woke from his spell, I refuse to believe she was under a spell at all. He offered her what the OCS couldn't (and by that, I don't mean his rod). That's why she chose him. Maybe Reya played with her head, I don't know, but that would be insulting to her arc.

There's a gaping chasm between Lilith turning to Adriel, and the final battle. What were they doing during their time together? Drinking brandy and scheming? Performing blood rituals? Going on dates? What did they talk about, how did they bond (more)? It would have been great, to see the situation from their angle, at least a bit. To find out what they're thinking. Lorena and William portrayed great chemistry, why not use it? Also, their interactions could've revealed more about the Other side to us.

Warrior Nun did a lot of things brilliantly. Adriel is a wonderful villain, he's one of my favorite characters in the world. But, his dynamic with Lilith was left barebones. They both deserved more screentime in general, it's such a shame the season was shorter. Some things seem rushed because of it. I would've loved to see Lilidriel fleshed out more.

Also, I'm still bitter the creators screwed with the Satan and Lilith pairing by having her ditch him. You don't sUbVeRt that pair. I forgive a lot in the name of an author's license, I don't forgive that. At least she went away on her own path.
