Opinion on William's route

WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD

Originally I downloaded Ikevil because I wanted to play Victor's and Ellis' routes, but since neither one of them is available yet, I went with William because he looks like a vampire lol. I really liked him in the beginning despite the "komadori-chan" thing. But the more I progressed in his route, the more distant he grows. I got to the point where MC literally RISKS HER LIFE FOR HIM and we got that card where she's bleeding in his arms and he's like "Mm yes this color suits you indeed" and I'm like???? BRUH SHE IS DYING IN YOUR ARMS

It especially irritated me how composed he remained. I was hoping he'd have a redeeming moment, a display of something other than brutality, authority and f*cking laughing when MC asks him something serious. The moment when's she stabbed is crucial, and then later he's like "hmm ok guess I'll protect you if you really wanna come along" like she's some kind of disposable pet. In fact, he seems more like some deity to worship rather than a romantic partner. I know none of the guys are normal, they are villains and got some mega issues, but for me it was highly disappointing for the MC to almost lose her life for William and he's just like "wow I'm glad that's your choice yay". like gurl come on

I get it that she wants to protect him, it's cute. But he's so formidable, why does he let her put herself in danger for his sake??

As a character I like him, though. He's very kind to other members, he's noble and overall impressive. It's just that the romance is eh for me. I'll finish the Blind Love route soon so we'll see I guess
