I'm having sad thoughts about Jacques again. About how he only seems like someone who has things figured out and is put together because we are seing him by very biased lens.

We are seing him by Lemony's eyes. The eyes of a man who idolized his older brother, who wanted to be like him. The eyes of someone who tends to either be extremely judgy or see everyone as better than himself and idealize them (often both at the same time).

We are in a different level seing him by the eyes of the Baudelraies. But they know little of Jacques and what they know is mostly that this is a man their parents knew, that promises answers and more important an adult that for the first time looks at Olaf in disguize and sees Olaf. Their view is biased at best.

We are also seing him by Quingleys eyes. But for Quingley Jacques was the man who found him lost in a tunnel alone and confused, griving and in danger and gave him something. That gave him some answers and food and a place to stay even if it was the abandoned house of one of his dead friends.

And even by everyone else Jacques is a Snicket, the Snickets are very competent and mostly loyal but also a bit weird. And Jacques is all that. But in comparrison to his sibblings? He has his life put together.

That's to say that Jacques is likely tired, overworked, traumatized and failing apart. But he can keep himself suave, well-read, well-dressed and calculating. He isn't taking obvious risky behavior like Kit. And he certainly isn't just a blurried bunch of trauma in a fedora like Lemony. So he appears to be someone that is fine. And that we shoudn't worry about.

Headcannon that postcannon Charles doesnt like leaving Edwin alone for long streches of time.

You know the way he did in the beggining of the show, leaving Edwin alone so that Charles could be with Crystal or just giving Edwin space to be with other people(Monty or Niko). I think post-Hell Charles Rowland would feel uneasy about not having Edwin in his line of sight while at the same time not wanting to make a big deal out of it.

Like how in the last episode Edwin is alone and Charles leaves others to pack so he could check up on Edwin, that sort of thing. Or how he was hessitent to follow Crystals plan at first becouse he has to rescue(see) Edwin ( to me it also looks like Charles was so busy rushing to Edwin he didnt noitice Nikos body but that might just be me)

Anyways i think it would be a fun direction to take Charles's characther in. Considering in s1 he is already weary of Edwin spending time with the Cat King, youd get that whole jealousy thing but doubled and mixed in with his feeling of inadequacy as the brawn. But also s1 establishes Charles as being at least partially insecure about their bond: having to correct Edwin whenever Edwin says how Charles would move on quickly and constanty seeking reassurment from edwin about their friendship (ep 1 when he asks what would happen if death came, ep 4 with his fight with the night nurse, seeing Brad and Hunter the best friends as him and Edwin)

And then you also have the reversal of how Edwin was jealous of Charles spending lots of times with Crystal and now Charles is protesting every second Edwin isnt with him. And ofcourse Charles does it from a place of fear and love but Edwin would maybe interpret it the wrong way, who knows?

And, from what the writers have told us, Edwin in s2 spent at least some amount of time flirting with other men (hopefully without Charles lurking in the background) and from what we know from that one cameo Jayden and George did, there was a lot of tension between the boys...

Now im not a writer i didnt write the s2 script or anything, im not saying this is what would have happened in s2 but.... i think the tension might have come from that. From Charles seeing Hell as a traumatic expirience and his PTSD manifesting as his insistence on Edwin not leaving his side, Charles's insecurities and his fear of losing Edwin being at an all time high. While Edwin, who has learnd how to forget Hell, is acting as if nothing happened at all, exploring his sexuality and making new friends in the process.

It would make Charles confront all of the skeletons he's been hiding in the closet but also it would ask the simple question of why is Charles so insecure in their friendship? Why is he constantly mentioning them being best mates? Why does he need it so much? Why is he constantly searching from reassurences that they are best friends?

And for more angst, from Edwins point of view he is doing everything Charles wanted him to do in s1. Hes accepting and letting the dead boy detectives workplace to grow and change, he is being more open and friendlier, he is encouraging Charles friendship/relationship with Crystal and he is no longer playing trauma Olympics at the drop of a hat. So why is Charles so mad? Hes working through his shame and his supiriority complex, hes growing as a person and Charles is still stuck at the staircase.

You whispered as you walked around inside the house When the front door opened, you felt your heart lighten but soon after you remembered that you had something to tell him but didn't know how to say it to him. And then you started to get nervous again. "Honey, I'm back." Rengoku said with his usual cheerful and loud voice as he took off his shoes and put his sword aside "Kyo!" You smiled and ran into his arms when you saw him. "I'm so happy to have you back. I missed you so much." You said, hugging him tightly "And I've been missing you so much too. How are you?" "I'm fine." You said, moving away from him and looking down, trying to avoid meeting his big, flaming eyes that were watching you. The hashira noticed that you were acting a little strange and that you were hiding something, so he couldn't help but insist.

"Are you sure? You seemed a little downcast just now." He said, holding your hands and caressing them, and you just nodded. "Yeah, I'm really fine" You said, looking at him now. You stared at each other for a moment until you realized that you hadn't convinced the flame Hashira. You then sighed and closed your eyes for a moment before giving him the big news. "Kyo, I have something to tell you..." You said, looking away "Tell me then." "I'm...I'm pregnant" You said and he was completely speechless "No, wait, are you seriously?" He said with shining eyes and a huge smile on his face. "Are you really... For real?" "Yes" You nodded and he took you in his arms, spinning you around as he celebrated the new If there was one thing he wanted most one day it was to have children and after what you had told at that time, he had never felt so happy. "I love you so so much, my dear." He said, kissing every corner of your face and putting you on the floor "I love you too." You said, hugging him "I will protect you from any danger. Gyomei :

Gyomei had left very early that day to go to a quiet place outside, to pray. You woke up a little while later and he still hadn't come back. You sat down on the futon and felt very nauseous and ran to the bathroom to throw up. You knew the reason for that and it wasn't just nausea. There was something more. Gyomei didn't know anything yet and you hadn't thought about telling him either. You didn't know how he would react and besides, you were afraid after what he had experienced in the past with those children that he hadn't been able to protect. But you didn't want to do that to him and you couldn't bear the idea of ​​hiding something so serious from the man you loved so much. He had the right to now. When you left the bathroom and went to the bedroom, you were taken by surprise when you came across the big man in the middle of the room. His size never went unnoticed. "Oh Gyomei, you're back!" You said and he paused for a moment, processing the words you had just said It didn't take long for you to see the tears falling from his eyes and running down his cheeks. He was easily moved but that news made him more sensitive than anything else he had witnessed. "You...You're carrying something so fragile and so innocent here? Something so tiny and that has no perception of the world around it. Poor thing," Gyomei said, crying and making you cry too."I'll protect you two with my life. Even if I couldn't protect the others that night, I'll protect you. Thank you for giving me such beautiful new, you are everything to me."He said, hugging you "You too, I love you so much." You said, hugging him and feeling his arms wrap around you, keeping you safe. You were so relieved to know that he was happy with the news. He would undoubtedly be a great father and very protective.

Tengen :

The other wives had already started to notice signs in you that something wasn't right. The vague suspicion was already in the air, but you still hadn't told them anything even after knowing what was happening to you Although Makio is very suspicious that it might be true "But haven't y'all seen it yet? It's obvious that she's pregnant!" Makio said to you and to Hina and Suma, who were looking at you "But how do you know? It could just be something I ate that made me sick." You replied "You're joking right ? How could someone spend almost a month throwing up as soon as you wake up, feeling nauseous because of smells or having food cravings that would make anyone else sick. Go head, tell me?" Makio crossed her arms and you looked away "Come on, don't argue. That won't solve anything," Hina said, trying to calm the situation. "Y/n, did something happen between you and Tengen before he left for the mission?" She asked, turning her gaze to you and you snorted "Yes..." You nodded and looked down. "At least two weeks before he left and the day before the mission." "See? Don't you think that's more than enough to confirm it? Why do you still deny it?" Makio said "Jeeez Makio, don't talk so rudely. Can't you see that she's not feeling well?" Suma scolded Makio "Why? Did I lie ?" "Stop it already!" You shouted and everyone went silent."She's right. I found out a few days ago." You finally confessed "Oh, so it wasn't something you ate after all..." Makio said with a little, wry smile "I didn't want to say anything because you'd start making a fuss like you are doing now." "Ladies, your flashy husband is home!!" Tengen shouted from the entrance and the four of you quickly changed expressions."Look who's gathered here! Waiting for me? Where are my hugs at?"The sound hashira smiled and opened his arms to y'all The three wifes ran into his arms but you just sat there feeling a little nervous because of his presence. "Y/n, what's with that face? Come here." Tengen said approaching you and you stood up to hug him. "Are you okay?" He leaned in to whisper in your ear but you just pulled away and looked at him with your lips curved up in a tiny smile "Tengen, I have something to tell you." You said, holding his hands "What does my dear wife have to tell me?" "I'm pregnant." "WHAT!!?" Tengen's eyes widened and his mouth dropped open in surprise "Yes, you're going to be a father." You smiled at him "I can't believe it. That sounds so flashy. Come here, princess!" Tengen picked you up and kissed you with joy "Tengen, put me down!" You said, patting his shoulder, but he ignored you "My son will be the most flashy ever." He said with a wide smile and kissing you again "Give me a kiss too, Tengen!!" Suma whimpered from the back of the room "Me too!" Makio said Hinatsuru just chuckled at the two of them. She was so happy for you and would do anything to take care of you and keep you safe.

Sanemi :

Sanemi hadn't been home all day and you had just arrived from the Butterfly Mansion after asking Shinobu to run some exams on you after you had been feeling unwell lately. You thought it was nothing special, never even imagining that it could be something as serious as pregnancy. You sat on the couch looking at some random corner still trying to process what she had told you before. It wasn't like you weren't already expecting it (because there was a reason for that), but it was still a surprise for you. You thought a lot about his reaction and what he would say. You weren't sure if he would like it or if he was ready to be a father. You looked so confused at that moment. Your thoughts were gone when the front door closed and Sanemi came into the house. You got up from the couch and a short while later he entered the living room. "Sanemi, I'm glad you're here." You went to him and hugged him "Yeah, it was a hard and tiring day..."He gave a long, tired sigh."If you keep hugging me, you'll start to smell like sweat and disgusting demon blood." He said, caressing your back with one hand "Disgusting!" You giggled. "You're really dripping with sweat." "I told you. I need a shower, are you coming with me?" He looked at you with a suggestive look, but you looked away "Nemi, I need to tell you something first..." "What?" You could have sworn you felt his heart melt at that moment. Sanemi wasn't the type to show affection as proof of love, he spoke with actions, but they could be harsh and rigid sometimes. Although it was different with you. He had a horrible father in his past. Both for him and for his siblings and his mother. All that mistreatment left its mark on him, but he swore not to repeat the cycle if he were to be a father one day. "I will protect you with my life. You are carrying my son now, I will not let any of those monsters get to you, much less any person to hurt you. You are under my protection, you and my little brat." He whispered next to your ear as one of his hands went to your belly "Are you happy about this, Sanemi?" You asked, lifting your head to look at him "You have no idea how much." Sanemi said, before kissing you with passion. "You are giving me a family. Why wouldn't you be happy, huh?" He poked your nose and you smiled."Come here, let's take a bath." He said, carrying you in his arms

LIKE! lets not pretend Dukes whole attitude wasnt, "oh my god vigilantes are so fucking crazy" and instead of thinking, "jesus this isnt for me", he thought "damn i gotta get crazier!" (he was already crazy)

fanon duke thomas is LAME hes such a LOSER and it makes me angry! his story and personality are sooo intertwined, his determination, grit, and confidence drive the story and vice versa! you can't tell me your wet sock of a character masqueraded as a "ball of sunshine😄" or "cinnamon roll🥺" is the same one who lead a city wide revolution very much paralleled to systemic issues! its also just BORING and again LAME hes a LOSER!

One thing that confuses me is that in season 4, the ink curse said that Mk's fate was that his friends would destroy him and become a monster. Even tho his actual fate was to merge with the pillar of heaven to end the cycle. And the curse would've known that because his destiny was predestined from the moment of his creation by Nüwa herself (definantly didn't word it out like that on purpose /j), It just wouldn't make sense for it to be wrong- (also I'm sending this to you because yes :3 hope you don't mind lol)

I HAVE BEEN WANTING TO TALK ABOUT THIS FOR A WHILE NOW!

Because yes: MK's friends will destroy him, and he will become a monster

But only in this timeline!

You see a little while ago, I read this amazing theory by @sairenharia, that discussed the possbility that MK has acutally fufilled his "destiny" several times before, just in other cycles.

This was though finally stopped by Xiangliu, in this cycle, where he let MK out early, meaning MK had the time to devolop past this mindset of just "sacfricing himself", leading to him not sacfricing himself in this cycle.

But thats his "destiny". His "fate" is a whole'nother thing!

Because i theorise that when characthers like the Ink Demon says "fate", they are talking about things that are going to happen in this cycle!

And since MK didnt sacfrice himself in this cycle, there is suddenly this very chaotic, powerful, AND (if not handled correctly), possibly dangerous and very unstable celistial monkey!

And, as we see, it IS unstable:

Nüwa clearly just made this monkey to be a sort: "one time use, then please for the love of god, get rid of it".

But then, lets say... MK goes apeshit.

The world has pushed this monkey over the edge, and he just snaps.

He doesent even really seem human anymore just 100% wild monkey, a monster.

So his friends have to make the choice:

Do they turn on MK to protect this cycle? Or will they let him destroy it?

After chapter 7 i have to say it...IT ON SIGHT WHEN THIS BITCH APPEARS!!! AHHHHH!!

......I calm down so here is the thing, I see what the narriative is doing with Leviathan him seeing MC as an danger to Hell (what is his safe space) and trying to kill they but!!! It fucking infuriates me that the narriative goes then to make us think 'poor him!! He suffered so much!! He lost his Friends and even was experimented been sexualy assalted by angels while been an kid, inst so sad??" When he literally has his hands on MC neck and about to kill they!!! MC an human who barely has the hang of their new powers!!! WHAT THE FUCK!!!

It bad cause for one i really like how his past made Levi who he is today is good characther building (i still dislike him but that my taste) but that way the story made to justified for him to act like this to MC cause he has trauma is so Bad!! The game devs keeps making like Leviathan has the worst trauma of the Kings what is not true!!! Each Kings trauma shold be treated with recpect but the deves blantly farotize Levi trauma over the other Kings!!! ALL THE KINGS SUFFERRED!!!! It end up making him way more unlikeble!!

The devs need to make more options to make our MC clash more with him, if you see the options from the other chapters with the other Kings MC can still clash with they (i like the banter with the Kings it very much fun), but with Leviathan is always wrintign like how amazing and beatiful he is and poor him this is favoritism of the Devs and you cant tell me otherwise!!!

I really know they want us to like Leviathan but they need to let us clash with him, it has becomes the worst parts of the Chapter everytime he is on screen foer me, now cause i gonna be for real....his nobles are way more likeable to me than him and yes even Glasy (i find the way that even with all the proof Glasylobalas stil remanis douteful of things really interesing to his characther and really on point with Hades ideals).

Again it made me frustated but the rest of the Chapter was good and funny (Loved the plot of Min and MC past it was really good), i haven been motived to draw more stuff with my MC on it since i really like it i may post later if you guys want it.

I really hope when we meet with Satan and Mammon and tell him about this Satan kicks him at his face!!!
