Splatoon headcanon

Orion(this fella right here) is a flapjack octopus, which obviously should make them an octoling since they're so humanoid, but I was puzzled by their green skin, specially since they exist since Splatoon 1, but my headcanon is now that they were partially sanitized. Oh, this doesn't fit with the lore? Idc, they retconned stuff like how sanitization works in Side Order, they retconned Acht's gender, I can retcon Orion's backstory since the lore is changing with the splatoon crew writing more stuff(no problem with that, as long as it's to the benefit of the story I accept retcons)
