Drew this a while back for a friend. They’ve always been cutie pies to me.

Random new OCs… they don’t have names yet!

First guy is a striped raphael catfish, second girlie is a koi plakat betta!

The catfish is an exchange student, he thinks life is all perfect because he’s privileged due to his skills in the performing arts. Great contortionist too, a triple threat of sorts. He isn’t malicious but he’s an unrelenting gossip machine. He just wants to party!

The betta is also an exchange student, she’s a martial arts movie geek but she’s professionally trained in the sport as well. She hates men, and gives off a sort of toxic lesbian energy that makes her infamous among her peers. Has a weird crush on Blur.

Grand Festival : Reprise

Second, but final set of Grandfest drawings… there was initially going to be three but I figured I should move on to making other things. So lets have Leonard and Seymour for an encore.

The resort was invited to help sort out event planning, so Leonard was invited to bring in frequent performers from the resort, as well as to set up a temporary bar for Seymour to work at.

Figured I’d share the reasons for their teams as well…

Leonard chose Team Past because he figures he’s… well past his prime. So what if he still gets chicks on his lap while nearing the age of 50… he thinks his life has been thrown off rails ever since the resort was placed in his fins.

Seymour chose Team present for the simple reason of knowing he can’t change the past, but he also can’t see the future. Living in the moment is important to him, and as much as he enjoys hearing past stories from customers, or hearing about their future aspirations, he sees them as the person they are at the moment.

Thanks for being here to read my semi-rambly Grandfest posts haha, I’m still emotional about it.

Happy Grand Festival!

Thank you Splatoon, for a beautiful game, and for letting me meet wonderful friends, and for all the inspiring art and music… It has been a grand 2 years!

Here are my characters and their teams! I could give a quick rundown as to why they chose their teams…

Scooter chose team past because he is grateful for all the artists and performers who came before him, and paved the way for the performing arts.

Blur chose team present because she loves to live in the moment! She goes with the flow, and she loves living and experiencing the things around her.

Cyrus chose team future because she is dedicated to achieving her goals, she is passionate, and she believes one day she will make a huge impact on the world.

Thanks for letting me ramble about my guys hehe, and congratulations to Team Past for winning! (Scooter is celebrating) And good job to everyone who participated in Grandfest! It was truly amazing.
