Here's the thing. None of this makes any of our lives materially better, and in a lot of cases, it makes them actually worse. Take transphobia as an example: people in the workforce are so scared of offending me or getting my pronouns wrong that I'm convinced this has prevented them from hiring me in a few cases. Moreover, this kind of fear masks actual unexamined bias or disgust at trans people that they might harbour, and while being honest about that, while uncomfortable, might actually lead to change, keeping it repressed just lets it fester and get steadily worse. The end result is that a lot of us wind up getting mythologised: we're loved and deferred to in the abstract, but the moment I bring my actual self to the table, I'm treated with just as much bigotry as I might have had to deal with without the DEI work being done.
DEI is about original sin

Tumblr media
Born: 13 November 354 AD, Thagaste
Died: 28 August 430 AD (age 75 years), Ruins of Hippo (Hippo Regius), Annaba, Algeria.
Early Life and Conversion: Augustine, born in 354 AD in North Africa (modern-day Algeria), led a life of worldly pursuits until his conversion to Christianity in 386. His spiritual journey is detailed in his famous autobiography, "Confessions."
Bishop of Hippo: Augustine served as the Bishop of Hippo (in present-day Annaba, Algeria) from 395 until his death in 430. During his episcopacy, he played a crucial role in defending orthodox Christian doctrine against various heresies.
Major Works: Augustine's writings have had a profound impact on Christian theology. His notable works include "Confessions," an introspective autobiographical work, and "The City of God," a monumental treatise on theology, philosophy, and the destiny of humanity.
Doctrine of Original Sin: Augustine developed the influential theological concept of Original Sin, which posits that humanity inherits a sinful nature from the fall of Adam and Eve. This idea has had a lasting impact on Christian theology and soteriology.
Influence on Western Christianity: Augustine's teachings have left an indelible mark on Western Christianity. His views on grace, predestination, and the relationship between faith and reason have shaped theological discussions for centuries, influencing both Catholic and Protestant traditions.

Original Sin
Original sin, a fundamental doctrine in Christian theology, is deeply rooted in the biblical narrative of Adam and Eve’s disobedience, which took place in the idyllic setting of the Garden of Eden. This concept holds a central place in Christian theology, shaping the understanding of human nature and the doctrine of salvation. The story of Adam and Eve’s transgression in the book of Genesis…

#DailyDevotion The Real Problem With People Today
Tumblr media
#DailyDevotion The Real Problem With People Today Psalm 53 A fool says in his heart, “There is no God.” Why is the atheist at heart a fool? Because the evidence of God stares at him right in the face every day and night. Paul writes in Romans 1, “19What can be known about God is clear to them because God has made it clear to them. 20Ever since He made the world, they have seen the unseen things of God — from the things He made they can tell He has everlasting power and is God. Then they have no excuse.” Psalm 19 says, “The heavens are telling how wonderful God is, and the sky announces what His hands have made.” The fact that the vast majority of peoples and nations in the world worship something as God to whom they are accountable to demonstrates this even if it is a false god or creation itself. However, even with this outward worship of something, in their hearts do they believe there is a God they are answerable to? They do corrupt and detestable things. No one does anything good. 2God looks at the world from heaven to see if there is anyone wise, who comes to God for help. 3They have all turned away together and become corrupt. Not one does right, not a single one. If we really believed in our hearts there was a God we were answerable to, would we do corrupt and detestable things? This psalm teaches us the very nature of original sin. There is no one who does good, no not one. Not good as God defines good. We are conceived this way and born this way. We lack faith in God. Not just not believing He exists, but we don't trust Him. So Paul says, “everything apart from faith is sin,” and Hebrews writes, “without faith it is impossible to please God.” So before we are born of God through the Word of faith, the Gospel of Jesus Christ, we are not wise for we do not come to God for help expecting help from Him. The wise person turns to God for help regularly, for everything. He recognizes his dependence on God. We can only do this through faith in Jesus Christ. But before we had faith in Jesus we had all turned away and became corrupt. As it is written in Genesis 8:21, “man's thoughts are evil from his youth.” 4Don't these who do wrong know, don't these who devour my people know that if anyone eats the bread God gives 5without calling on Him, panic will overtake them? Certainly there will be panic when God scatters the bones of those who besiege you. They will be put to shame because God will reject them. 6If only Someone would come from Zion to save Israel! When God restores His people, Jacob will be delighted and Israel will be glad. As we eat our daily bread, do we give thanks to God for it? If not, David says panic will overtake us. Giving thanks shows the state of our heart. It shows we recognize our Creator for the gift of all good things. Those who don't recognize this indeed are panic-stricken when their Maker calls on them to give an account of their lives. They will be put to shame and be rejected by God on the Last Day. Jesus Christ is the someone who comes from Zion to save Israel. Not only Israel, but all the peoples of the world He came to save by His death on the cross. Those who believe and trust Jesus' work for them He joins to His people Israel. Now on the day of the revelation of our salvation, we will be delighted and we will be glad for we trusted in God. We trusted in His Son, Jesus Christ. Panic will not overcome us on that day because Jesus' righteousness covers all our sins and wrongdoing. His blood washed away our guilt and shame. We will stand holy, righteous, blameless and without fault on that day. Heavenly Father, grant that through the Word of Faith, we may trust Your Son, Jesus Christ, so all our corruption will be put away on the day of His revelation. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen. What Have We Done
Lucifer watches them for weeks before making contact. The first three humans, all squishy skin and clumsy fingers, bumble about the garden with barely enough language to communicate simple concepts like “over here,” or “taste this” and not a single fear between them. They’re as adorable as they are stupid. While he sort of sees the appeal of a wholesome new realm like Earth populated by creatures like them, he can’t help the pitiful twinge of his heart when he watches them through the foliage.
It’s fine to be dumb and docile in paradise, but Lucifer can only imagine tragedy befalling the humans when Heaven’s turmoil inevitably leeches into Eden. The first woman, with long white-blonde hair and a divine smile, has already fallen out with the first man and been replaced by a bubblier, more affectionate version woman who hangs off that arrogant man like he personally pasted the stars in the sky. Conflict is already here.
With each passing day, Lucifer notices the first woman drift further and further toward the boundaries of the garden as the tension in the air tightens to a stranglehold. His first real interaction comes when she spots him peering through the leaves and beckons him forward. Lucifer knows, Lord does he know, he should disappear before this gets worse, but her beauty draws him into the path to greet her.
He wipes his sweaty hands on the gathered fabric of his robe.
“Hello,” he says, imbuing his voice with as much warmth and comfort as he can manage. He points to himself and adds, “Lucifer.”
When she tilts her head to the side curiously, the silken curtain of her hair ripples like water. “Lucifer,” she repeats, testing the word on her lips.
Humans’ voices are gentler, softer, than the vivacious tones of the angelic host. Hers twirls like a melody on the gentle breeze before it falls on Lucifer’s ears. Nothing, and no one, in all of creation, has ever been as ethereally alluring as her. Her mouth tugs into a gentle curve he mirrors like it’s contagious. Some of the cherubs do this, but as angels age, their faces seem to freeze into painted disapproval or grim rage.
“Did He give you-”
Lucifer cuts himself off. The humans have been kept in the dark, and he doesn’t think he could explain it to her with the short time they have before someone notices their conversation.
“You?” He points at the woman. “Do you have a name?”
“Lilith,” she answers.
It sounds even sweeter than his own. He dips into a deep bow and says, “It’s a pleasure to meet you, Lilith.” All he wants is for her to feel a fraction of the instinctive adoration burning in his body for her.
He knows he cannot leave her to be trampled under the other humans, or worse, the war looming on Heaven’s horizon. From his surveillance, he’s seen her search for knowledge and information within her limited world, but she simply isn’t prepared to defend herself when she doesn’t understand the universe around her. But he has no weapon to give, no shield to provide, and no promise to keep.
When he rises from his bow, he quickly scans Eden until his eyes land on the tree of knowledge: taller than the rest, heavy with forbidden fruit, and ostensibly under his protection until things calm down in Heaven. The only rule the humans have is to avoid that tree, and so far they’ve abided.
“I want to show you something,” Lucifer whispers, offering his hand.
Lilith takes it.
He leads them to the center of the garden, where the other two humans repose underneath the tree with their dreamy eyes fixated on the apples above. Though Lucifer doesn’t find them as breathtaking as Lilith, he still couldn’t live with himself if he didn’t arm them somehow against their uncertain future.
Lucifer plucks an apple from the tree and holds it out not to his audience, but to Lilith, replacing his hand in hers with forbidden fruit. “It’s okay,” he says. He means it, drowning the words with reassurance and affection until she closes her fingers around his gift.
The first man shakes his head, and that convinces her more than anything Lucifer could have done. She bites into the apple out of spite in a crunch that echoes through the entire garden. Then, her expression opens like clouds parting for the morning sun as she chews and swallows.
“How’s it taste?” Lucifer asks.
She laughs and it’s his new favorite sound. “Sweet, and tart, and,” she looks to the sky, thinking, “full. I love it.”
Lilith takes another bite before passing the apple to the other humans, forcing it into their hands the same way Lucifer gave it to her, and making encouraging gestures until the other woman tries it. Finally, the man gnaws a tiny shred of its skin. As enlightenment washes over their features, Lilith launches herself into Lucifer’s arms.
“Thank you,” she murmurs against his neck.
He might combust. No one has touched him with kindness before, let alone embraced him like she is.
When she pulls away, leaving him cold, an idea lights a fire in her eyes. “Why were we told not to eat it?”
“It wasn’t meant for you,” Lucifer admits,
Her reply vanishes into a howl of wind that rattles the tree branches and scrapes petals from the flowers around them into a whirl of warning color. Lilith darts under the tree to shelter with the other two, and the humans cast their tearful, frightened eyes at Lucifer.
“It’ll be okay,” he assures them. “I won’t let anything bad happen to you.”
Whatever the cost.

Genesis 42: The Crystal Dogma
The Crystal Dogma
M-Thr 4am EST
https://youtube.com/@TinUniversePresents
The Crystal Dogma is what the Bible is within the Tin Universe. It's  also a principle, or set of principles, or stupid full of hot air bullshit laid down by delusional authorities as undeniable, or a spit in the wind truth to make said persons feel good about themselves in the moment.
It’s also, very much shitting on someone’s day for a laugh, pulled pranks that bring tears, and on a cosmic level unfulfilled desires.
The Story No One Should Make. Or maybe it should be- The Story No One Should Write. Maybe because of a lack of time. Maybe because of a lack of talent. But stories got to be told.
So here.
Best laid plans and all that.
