couldn't a reason Mind and Heart hate each other be because of whole's love interest (sung in Haiku and Hidden In The Sand), like how Whole really liked them, but he thought that they would never love him, so basically his Heart wanted to ask them out and pursue a relationship, but his Mind refused thinking they would never love him. And its mostly because of that Whole split into three in the first place, so they both blame each other for it, and that's why they hate each other?

charlie is no stranger to failure. her dreams are often seen as idealistic and, due to her dads failure to fully step into his throne (through only some fault of his own cuz im soft for him) is openly mocked and ridiculed for, even by her own father: "i think dad was right about me" (geez ig i know why luci was always so mean in pilot fanon)

...yet she still prevails. waiting to find that little blue bird, though prehaps not in vain. not anymore :)

What’s up, writeblr? I go by Percy and I’ve been lurking on tumblr for quite some time, and I’ve finally said, “fuck it,” which leads us to the here and now. I’ll be posting original excerpts as well as fanfiction because I’m a huge nerd and I can’t just have one hobby. That would make my life even more boring than it already is(for legal reasons, this sentence is a joke. Just a funny hahaha…)

Ideally, I’d like to be a full time novelist/author, but alas, I am a broke student with two part time jobs and a love for writing angst. Just pure angst(with the occasional appearance of crack and fluff, but I’m depressed so it comes few and far between. I’m also sleep deprived).

Honestly Peter/Roger should be way more of a ship imo. I know we barely got to see them interact in Dialtown but you cannot tell me Peter bringing up his wife was looking to spice things up in the bedroom or whatever wasn't a direct attempt to rizz him up that just completely flew over Roger's head (or maybe it didn't and Peter just chickened out. The possibilities are endless. I'm shaking you by the shoulders are you listening to me❓‼️)

This is something that I was thinking about myself but I didn't really want to write about it on Twitter (Kedwin follows me so I feel a little guilty for being negative on there, I know that's a bit dumb but whatever lol), so I guess I'll spill my thoughts on here.

Anyway I really hope there's a lot more to the premise of DD than they've given us so far because "seeking social media fame" is just so bland... I appreciate the setup of Blood Covered because it establishes a lot in from the get-go about both the characters themselves (and how they feel about each other) and the story's major themes (coping with loss and change, in particular). It gives the story solid ground to build up from, like:

Ayumi's guilt stemming from "I just wanted to keep us together as friends and instead I got you all killed"

Mayu's death feeling especially awful since the whole situation was started in an attempt to make her feel better, and she yet dies first/in the most gruesome way

Kind of a sick irony that the survivors are definitely closer with each other by the end of it all than they were at the start, so in a roundabout way the charm "worked" when it comes to keeping them together

So I'm hoping we get some more robust thematic/character buildup other than "streamer does a challenge to up her subscriber count."

There's also been comparisons floating around about how it's just the modern equivalent of the Sachiko ritual spreading via blog sites in the 2000s and I actually agree with that! Paranormal phenomena going viral on the internet is completely rooted in reality and I've watched my fair share of YouTube videos reviewing/debunking "paranormal" TikTok content myself lol. But even then, Naho's motivations were still in line with the overall themes of the story. Her goal wasn't to find fame, it was to stay close to Kibiki -- and, like Ayumi, she got the people she cared about killed instead (Kibiki, Sayaka, etc.).

Anyway all of this is just a really long-winded way to say, I really really hope the story previews we're being given are extremely simplified and that the starting incident isn't JUST "I want subscribers." I want these characters to be emotionally invested in their relationships with each other and I want to watch them suffer for it lol. Maybe there could be some turmoil over prioritizing internet fame/validation over genuine, real life relationships? So the opposite of Ayumi's good intentions, basically. I just hope a character with as unserious a vibe as Nemu can be taken that seriously lol.

Playing as the elf in origin, specifically the mage origin, almost gives you more privilege than the city elf. This is despite mages being discriminated against inside and outside the circle. rewatching good omens s2 bc y'know I'm insane and I was at the pub scene and a different person would perhaps comment about The Hand Touch or Crowley's Turtleneck or Bodyguard Crowley but no I'm over here thinking about how the first time I watched I thought it would have been hilarious if as the season went on Aziraphale had to take Crowley to different places because he kept accidentally involving someone from the establishment in increasingly dumb and outlandish lies that he could not discuss in an area close to them until ultimately they ran out of spots to crash at because he's involved like all the shop owners in the street

When you add a blocked tag you want Tumblr to filter out for you, it checks everyone's tags for a post. So if someone I'm following doesn't include a certain tag in a post, but someone who reblogs that post does, then Tumblr sees that tag and goes, "uh oh! blocked tag! hide the post!"

This is a good thing most of the time. People can be warned for triggering material even if it's not tagged by everyone. It's a good safety net!

However, if you decide that you don't want a certain group of people interacting with your blog at all (say, you think their existences are invalid and you hate them, idk) and you put a dni tag on all your posts, then everyone who has that term blocked (maybe they don't wanna see your targeted messages invalidating their existences), then every post you tag with that gets blocked. Even if the person you reblogged the post from is totally inclusive. Even if the post itself as absolutely nothing to do with this group of people you're prejudice against and trying to push out of spaces they should feel welcome in.

So when a targeted group follows who they thought was inclusive and sees that a post has been tagged with a dni, they might get confused and a bit hurt.

So what's the correct course of action here? Should we notify the inclusive blog? Or is it a "our blocked tags, our problem. it's our responsibility to deal with it." thing?

We aren't looking for drama or anything but we're willing to stand up in case this could help prevent future misunderstandings. We also have Covid right now and our thought processes are not at 100%.
