And now for something completely different--- some sketches of my coworkers' pets during a 2-hour department meeting with a 0.5mm gel ink pen. It always feels so damn good to scribble with a pen because you really have to think about where you're putting down your lines but that also gives you the freedom to get loose and fun with your choices. Sketches went home with the coworkers and one of them even told me later that their partner cried upon seeing it because they were having a bad day and the sketch made them feel heaps better.

Finished the basic reference design of my dragonsona, Ruin. I can't remember if I posted the old version, but I tweaked the wing iridescence shading and made the eyes orange. Bonus: My current profile picture in various places.

@thephooka gets this right in the webcomic White Noise (which I highly recommend for basically every reason). In fact the big nose is one of two defining physical similarities between the sibling protagonists

genuinely irritated about the prevalence of brother-sister character designs where the brother has a huge nose and the sister has a tiny nose. 1) why are you a coward who hates the joy and beauty of women with big noses 2) have you looked at any real human siblings lately 3) why do you appear to think the nose is a secondary sex characteristic
