few things i love more than akira feeding goro uwaaa... akira and goro eating a hot pot together with the thieves and akira wordlessly picks food out of the pot and putting it in goro’s bowl throughout the meal because he doesn’t think goro’s gotten enough.

akira and goro eating out for lunch…. goro only orders a drink and akira orders two meals. goro thinks akira must be really hungry or something until the food arrives and akira pushes the second plate towards him.

I BEAT my weight loss goal!!!!! I'm really excited about this but I post about it a lot so read more break

I was a fit (for my size) 240 lbs back in my 20s when I worked at blockbuster around 2005. I didn't keep track much back then but I had almost no belly fat and it was the lowest weight I've been in my adult life. Since then I gained and lost with a weight ranging mostly above 260 lbs and as high as 285. During the pandemic quarantine, I got a fitbit and got really vigilant about walking on the treadmill. I lost around 30 lbs in about 9 months (which quickly rebounded and became more like 20-25ish.

The lowest weight I got to with exercise was 255.5 on 8-31-2020. This was me vigorously (HR 150-180) exercising like 5 times a week for 40-60 minutes at a time. I wrote down every weight loss milestone and date that I hit back then, and I've been checking back to the list whenever my weight drops below one of them. My goal was my original pandemic low of 255.5 and I was 254.8 today!! I am extremely glad about this and how well my chosen diet worked for me:

Cut all snacks but meals can be as big as I want - CUT SUGARY DRINKS (except homemade coffee) - no dessert unless it's fruit or greek yogurt - and if I have fast food I only have like one non-terrible entree and maybe like 1 other small thing if I'm particularly hungry. An example of this would be a beef combo burrito and 1 taco from taco bell, or a chicken sandwich from JITB. I'm curious to see how far down my weight will go while maintaining this diet, and also if it will go down much more with additional exercise (during the entire time I lost weight (about 2 months) I have only deliberately exercised 3 times although I've been somewhat active otherwise.

Just as a side note, I don't mind being fat for the most part. I feel like it suits my body type and face better, but this is 100% a health concern for me. I want to breathe easier, be in better aerobic shape so that I don't get winded so easily, be more mobile, and take pressure off my joints as much as possible.

The following are my weight goals and when I hit them this year. I was using this post and updating every time I hit one. My new goal is my low weight from my 20's: 240 lbs!!!

Riptide from JRWI was produced but canceled early.

Bizly played Florida Man in the original 100 days film. Tommy played Patient Zero on contract.

Slime Demon had an ad-libbed baking show. Niki's character debut was written out and show was canceled in the middle of filming only a few episodes in, supposedly due to lack of viewership.

Sneeg had an 8-episode-run detective show.

Personnel:

Hetch fired 5 people over the years, including Criken.

In pretty quick succession, 1) Frank was hired, 2) Jerma left, 3) then Charlie was hired.

Frank and Charlie are the non-founding members who have worked at Showfall the longest without breaks.

Hetch meets the askers with less of a filter.

Ranboo is left behind at home again.

The crew's behavior has become stranger lately and they rarely interact with cast.

Cameron appears with a mask and without, seeming his normal cheerful self.

Frank organizes an HR meeting with all Showfall employees except Ranboo and Founder. They discuss working conditions, the missing funds (allocated to death traps), and Hetch's behavior. Hetch apologizes.

Frank makes plans to "fix the Founder's issues" via HR

Hetch confiscates Ashley's iPad and uses it to contact the askers that night.

Hetch reveals that the mind control "wasn't supposed to get this bad" and was just to make employees stay at Showfall and follow directions on set.

Hetch agrees to work with the other employees to get them out of Showfall.

Hetch is told about Ranboo's cyberbully.

March 10?, 2021:

Hetch comes up with the "Sorry" pilot, an improv-based show made as an apology to Showfall cast.

Hetch uses the iPad and two spare earpieces to make a non-censored audio-based method of communicating with askers. Hetch later gives the iPad back to Ashley, but it is broken.

Ranboo confronts both Charlie and Hetch on the fight at the coffee shop.

Hetch gives Charlie one of the earpieces. Charlie doesn't believe the askers' uncensored warnings.

Half of the crew is out sick, which Charlie attributes to COVID.

Ranboo locks themself in a storage closet while their cyberbully messages them.

Hetch lends his own earpiece to Ranboo. The askers convince them to leave the closet. Ranboo apologizes to Charlie.

The Founder is aware of the situation and frustrated. She has created a black mask with red circuitry, apparently Hetch's mask from TSE, to "get him back soon."

Later in the day, filming for Sorry begins.

Hetch is reminded of the vote, confusing Charlie and inspiring Ranboo and Charlie to cheer him up with a "try not to laugh challenge." Hetch agrees for the sake of winning Charlie's trust. Ranboo seems to recover from earlier.

The Founder encourages Jerma to invite Hetch out to drinks as a distraction. Jerma and Hetch argue but end the night getting along.

Charlie explores the mall overnight for proof for his ongoing battle against Showfall, ignoring warnings from the askers; Sneeg waits in the car and notices someone enter the building.

Ranboo meets up with their stalker in the mall and pushes them during an altercation. A light falls on the stalker, killing them. The Founder and Charlie both witness this.

The Founder offers to hide the body in exchange for Charlie's silence and Hetch's cooperation regarding the earpieces. Charlie argues with the Founder and, with Sneeg, takes Ranboo home.

Something prevents everyone from contacting the police.

Ranboo explains what happened before going to bed.

Hetch warns Charlie and Sneeg about Showfall's future plans.

March through May, 2021

Ranboo continues to rise in popularity at Showfall. They start keeping a journal and socially withdraw.

The police have still been unable to be reached.

Sneeg, Charlie, and Ranboo are given extra work by the Founder.

The Founder makes Hetch watch her experiments.

Hetch buys a gun for himself and a pocket knife for Ranboo.

After a 2-month gap where he tried and failed to contact the askers, Hetch manages to get through.

Hetch plans for him/Ranboo/Sneeg/Charlie to leave town at dark, asking the viewers to watch Showfall from now on on his behalf.

this is a purely self-indulgent post, that i'm posting here for self reference lol :P don't mind me!

(it's continuing from a previous post where, in the tags, i was trying to figure out exactly when i got into the Star Wars tv shows specifically! -i've been a fan of the movies for literal decades, having been introduced to the original trilogy in the mid 1990s. [yes i old lmao.] -but i never watched Clone Wars or Rebels when they first aired; i've actually only been involved with the tv shows, books and comics within the last 5 years or so! -so below is my self journey to determine exactly when i started watching that stuff! it's literally just blahblahblah random irrelevant information, for my own reference)

the final answer, for those who care, lol: Spring (Apr/May) 2020! so not even 5 years really??! wow, it feels like so much longer!!!

so yes, Spring 2020 (April & moreso May) is when i really got into the TV side of things. i had plans for many years to check out Clone Wars and Rebels, and i remember hearing all the big news and hype about TCW Season 7 in 2018-2019, which made me really say "ok i need to check this out!"

but The Mandalorian was actually my first SW tv show ever! yet i don't think i watched it right away lol?? it aired Nov-Dec 2019, but i wasn't reblogging Mando content until April 2020. (checks archives: yep, still mostly into Transformers! and even a fair amount of Voltron ahahaha oh god.)

so i also didn't watch Clone Wars S7 while it aired, which i knew. ironically, i did start the series from the beginning at the same time the S7 finale aired! (i found a text post dated May 2nd 2020.) no doubt it was all the buzz about the finale that really pushed me to check out the series!!

and then i found another text post from Nov 11 2020 saying i had just finished the emotional Season 5 finale. and with Season 6 only have 13 episodes, i'm sure i finished that one soonafter...and i'm guessing i finally got to Season 7 in Nov-Dec 2020. (i keep track of everything i read in Goodreads, and it says i read Son of Dathomir mid-Nov, and then Ahsoka mid-Dec. most likely S7 was sandwiched inbetween them.)

then Jan or Feb 2021 was Rebels. (again, per my books read, i read the Kanan comics and started the Thrawn novels in February. i know by then i was following a chronological list of media, and i would have read the Thrawn books in prep for Rebels S3.)

and for whatever reason, i just wasn't reblogging TCW nor Rebels on my tumblr - not until Sept 2021. i think i was waiting to finish Bad Batch S1 in its entirety first??? (finale was mid-Aug 2021.)

a fun side story, a strong memory of mine: when The Bad Batch trailer was released in April 2021, i remember Rex had his little 1 second cameo, and the sheer excitement that i felt!!!!!, and how the whole fandom was losing our minds!!!!!!!

anyways, it's most likely i made sure to have Rebels finished by the time Bad Batch premiered on May 4th 2021.

and then i immediately was reblogging SO MUCH Bad Batch, and like i said earlier, it's when i started reblogging TCW and Rebels as well. (i never really did a proper Rebels lookthrough of the tags and such, i don't think??? i really should! with my 2nd rewatch i'm still trying to do LMAO!)

and then, in terms of books, after the Thrawn trilogy, i was really only doing the encyclopedias and art books for awhile, until summer 2021 when i did Dark Disciple, which started my official foray into the disney canon novels!

2023 Dreamworks Film Tournament!

In between the end of this years tournament and the beginning of next years (very short) tournament, I'm running a Dreamworks poll! I might do this yearly too; we'll see. Films and dates under the cut.

The film has to be on this list as a feature film, and will include direct-to-video and streaming releases. The films will compete in 4 year increments (Dreamworks is younger and has less films, so it would be less fun to just do by the decade).

I will not be including Illumination films, although if you guys are interested in a separate poll for that, Imk! I would try and do that in 2024 though, just because Migration (2023) comes out very late in the year.

Winners of the 4 year groupings will be bolded & have a moon emoji next to them. The ultimate winner will be bolded, green & have a moon emoji.

I will hold a poll in 2024 to determine a winner considering the new movies. This will repeat over the years if I remember to run this poll.

Season to Date, ‘Nightline’ Is Up in All Key Demos

ABC News* 

ABC News’ “Nightline” ranked No. 1 in Total Viewers (+721,000) for the 5th consecutive week during the week of Dec. 26, 2022, based on Live + Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. “Nightline” also beat CBS’ “The Late Late Show with James Corden” in Adults 25-54 and Adults 18-49. 

For the 3rd week running, “Nightline” saw increases on the year-ago week in Total Viewers (+3% - 721,000 vs. 697,000), Adults 25-54 (+14% - 182,000 vs. 160,000) and Adults 18-49 (+4% - 129,000 vs. 124,000). 

Season to date, “Nightline” is growing compared to the same point last season in Total Viewers(+7% - 895,000 vs. 834,000), Adults 25-54 (+1% - 223,000 vs. 221,000) and Adults 18-49 (+3% - 159,000 vs. 155,000). In addition, “Nightline” leads CBS’ “The Late Late Show with James Corden” in all key target demos. 

This week Nightline covered the death of iconic, trailblazing journalist Barbara Walters, the death of soccer legend Pele, Christopher Dunn’s fight for freedom and the arrest of Bryan Kohberger for the murders of four University of Idaho students. 

NOTE: On Monday (12/26/22), “Nightline” and CBS’ “The Late Late Show with James Corden” were coded as a special due to the Christmas holiday. “The Late Late Show with James Corden” was retitled to “Late Late Show-JC-ENC” from Tuesday thru Friday, and NBC’s “Late Night with Seth Meyers” was retitled to “Seth Meyers-SM” due to being repeats. The retitled telecasts are excluded from the season averages. ABC’s and CBS’ weekly averages are based on four days (Tuesday-Friday).

@sinnadreams was actually going to put together some sort of more comprehensive timeline, but we discussed it and realized that we should be promoting behavior which respects their privacy!!!

BUT! I'm happy to some high points which are publicly known/they liked the posts so they know we know lol.

Mile and Apo as models (first meeting)

The earliest that we know is from Mile and Apo together on the runway. Mile says he actually remembers another show they did together where Apo was in front of him instead of behind him, but who knows. We actually have the approximate date of that show because Mile posted his shots on the runway to Instagram: August 10, 2013

The link to the video of the show with their cuts is above, you can see Apo peaking out from behind Mile in this shot.

Apo would have 19, Mile would have been 21. Based on what we saw, Mile only did runway for a couple of years (the last confirmed timestamp we have is he walked Gin&Milk BIFW 2015 which was Nov 7, 2015... he would have been 23). In the fashion season before that Mile was...in a boyband.

Apo continued to do runway up as a working actor (Apo at least walked BIFW 2017 in March 2017, when he would have been 23). Not all the shows are recorded, but we can guess they met/talked at the gym (their official meet cute!) sometime in 2013 or 2014.

Mile's graduation (same time, same place)

Mile had his university graduation on Dec 12, 2017, and Apo was in attendance to this graduation to support another friend. Mile would have been 25 and Apo would have been 23 🥰.

Mile liked this post and said something like WOW! but we never heard anything else about it. The series of photos were timestamped, so I'm sure they talked about it in private (like the fact they both played marbles growing up too, which they mentioned in a few interviews)

Actually, I have no cultural context for this but apparently 24-25 seems like the usual age range of people in Thailand graduating university? Bas, who was born in April 1997 graduated Sept 2022 so he also would have been 25.

A couple of other points of importance:

Mile was originally cast for MyEng in 2017, when he would have been 25. He turned the role down. MyEng was eventually released in 2020, and became Perth's breakout opportunity. :) Perth was born July 1994 so he would have been 25 when the show was shot/aired.

Apo's contract with Channel 3 expired in 2019 (he was 25). He apparently ordained for a month as a monk sometime that spring, then headed to New York. One of his reasons behind the choice was that he was graduating, his contract was expiring, he was obviously unhappy with the situation at work, and wanted to go live abroad.

Based on Apo's own tags, he moved to New York in mid December 2019. According to the HGSB interview, he lived in New York approximately 6 months so he would have been back in Thailand around June of 2020.

KinnPorsche Auditions

The audition process started in late Sept 2020 and went through early October

Apo and Mile met again at the audition. Mile recognized Apo but was too shy to approach him (as per his own admission both times). Apo remembered Mile but didn't remember his name, but went to greet him. They only talked to each other during the process and sat next to each other. They were both fast tracked through the audition process. There's dozens of vidoes online with stuff about the audition so you can find it.

Casting announcements occurred in November 2020. Mile had to cut his hair and there was no way he was gonna do it without the job offer lol.

KinnPorsche Filmania and the launch of Be on Cloud

The Filmania KPTS trailer was released January 2021. It's still online under BOC's channel, just hidden. I'm not gonna look for the link but it's not hard to find. It was slated to air March 2021.

Mile and Apo did a slew of promo in the year through spring. Obviously things were happening behind the scenes we don't know, probably issues related to funding.

Filmania's Kinnporsche the Series was formally cancelled mid July 2021 (July 13, 2021 according to the article) though there were rumors of cancellation through late June/early July.

Be on Cloud's Kinnporsche the Series was annnounced on August 29, 2022 with the Mafia Never Die and Hidden Message trailers.

By October 2021, they had secured Maserati's sponsorship and posted the trailer.

That's it! The rest is pretty easy to find yourself. Obviously Mile and Apo knew something was up probably as early as May of 2021, but they really scrambled to get funding and the series revived through July and August. Remember the new trailer was released at the end of August so they were already working and shooting and editing in mid August. I'm not gonna speculate too hard about what we can see for what else they did.

Is there any post or website where I can find a rough MileApo timeline? Like I known they walked that run way like 10 years ago but was that when they were in college or after they graduated? Same with the meeting at the gym and when did the old Kp get cancelled and the new kp announced. There are so many stories and moments that when you come into the fandom a bit later it's hard to figure out the timeline of everything.

Act 1 isn't the best, fairly shaky at times and drifts around a lot, this somewhat improves for Act 2. A little Billy-centric and occasionally becomes an Abiola/Roshani fancam when Miriam and Jordan bore me in Act 2.

Abiola swung on for Grace’s track and also played Vaseline due to a lack of female ensemble members. Ensemble also had noticeably fewer costume changes for unknown reasons. Cassidy had a particularly emotional That’s The Way It Is and Grace was amazing as ever

As you can see this is a doodle sketch that I’m gonna explain through details a bit, but just wanted to know how much time and effort for these two pups in working designs. Although last time toincluded them from my previous posts was not bad. Still hoping I would continue working on their designs a bit better from what they actually look like on trailer. It took me to get started back in March. 21st, 2022 til the 27th day that you can see the date I’ve added in the bottom right during my progress.

Thought I wanted to include this of what if these two getting a “Ducktales” style reboot; especially changing their personality to fit in the modern setting. It looks not bad that I used to watch the 2017 version of Ducktales before thinking it was a good thing. It happens few years that I’m skeptical about watching it like it’ll be good or not, but it was all in my head. 😅

Taylor Swift’s Re-Recorded ‘Fearless’ Album Debuts at #1 on Billboard 200 Chart With Year's Biggest Week

More than 12 years after Taylor Swift notched her first #1 album on the Billboard 200 chart in 2008 with her second studio set Fearless, she’s back atop the list with a re-recorded version of the album, titled Fearless (Taylor’s Version). The new set is her ninth #1 and scores the biggest week of 2021 for any album. It launches with 291,000 equivalent album units earned in the U.S. in the week ending April 15, according to MRC Data.

The original Fearless album debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart dated Nov. 29, 2008, and spent 11 nonconsecutive weeks on the chart. It has sold 10.28 million copies in the U.S. and is Swift’s second-biggest-selling release, behind her 2014 album 1989 (10.44 million).

On Feb. 11, 2021, Swift announced she had re-recorded the 2008 album Fearless as Fearless (Taylor’s Version). The new 26-track album has re-recordings of all 13 songs on Fearless, along with the six bonus songs added to a 2009 reissue of Fearless (dubbed the Platinum Edition) and the 2010 single “Today Was a Fairytale.” Beyond those 20 re-recordings, Fearless (Taylor’s Version) also boasts six newly recorded “from the vault” songs that were written for the original Fearless album, but were never recorded and released until now.

Fearless (Taylor’s Version) is the only #1 album of its kind: a re-recording of an artist’s (own or another’s) previously released album. Of Fearless (Taylor’s Version)’s 291,000 equivalent album units earned in the tracking week ending April 15, album sales comprise 179,000 (making it the top-selling album of the week), SEA units comprise 109,000 units (equaling 142.98 million on-demand streams of the album’s tracks) and TEA units comprise 3,000. Re-recordings of older songs or albums are treated separately from their originals, with independent chart histories for each version. Thus, Fearless (Taylor’s Version) charts separately from the original album. The 2008 Fearless album falls off the new chart, after having re-entered a week earlier at No. 157 (chart dated April 17). In the latest tracking week, the 2008 Fearless album earned 6,200 equivalent album units (down 19%). 

Ninth #1 Album: As Fearless (Taylor’s Version) marks Swift’s ninth Billboard 200 #1, she ties Madonna for the second-most #1 albums among women. Swift is closing in on Barbra Streisand’s all-time record among women of 11 #1 albums. Among all artists, The Beatles have the most #1s, with 19. Among all soloists, Jay-Z leads with 14. 

Biggest Week of 2021 by Units Earned: With 291,000 equivalent album units earned, Fearless (Taylor’s Version) scores the largest week for any album in 2021. It jumps past the previous high-water mark, set when Morgan Wallen’s Dangerous: The Double Album bowed at #1 with 265,000 units (chart dated Jan. 23).

The Three Largest Weeks for an Album in the Last Eight Months All Belong to Swift: Since August of 2020, Swift has not only claimed three #1s, but also the three biggest weeks among albums in units earned. On the Aug. 8, 2020-dated chart, Folklore debuted at #1 with 846,000 units. Evermore arrived at #1 on the Dec. 26, 2020, chart with 329,000 units. And now Fearless (Taylor’s Version) starts with 291,000 units.

Fearless (Taylor’s Version) has the biggest week for a country album by a female artist since the Billboard 200 chart transitioned from an album-sales only ranking to an equivalent album units-based chart on the Dec. 13, 2014, survey.

Strong Sales: With 179,000 copies sold in its first week, Fearless (Taylor’s Version) logs the largest sales week for an album released in 2021, surpassing the opening week of Wallen’s Dangerous (74,000). Fearless (Taylor’s Version) also has the biggest sales week for any album since Swift’s last release, Evermore, sold 102,000 in its second week (Jan. 2-dated chart).

Like wildfire in dry summer heat, the news spreads overnight.

Lee publishes his scoop announcing the relationship between Watts and Harmon, from his recollection of Cleveland ‘67 to today, Atlanta ‘69. They give him a few more crumbs but remain tight-lipped about any other details, like for how long and how serious and why. While Benny’s tongue is a talented shade of silver, Beth’s is not, so she avoids lying directly.

So color Jolene surprised when Beth says quietly, eyes averted, “I’m sorry you didn’t get adopted.”

If even Beth is noticing something off with Jolene, then everyone probably knows that Jolene is angry.

“Shit. I make out just fine right here.” Jolene plays it off, turns around, and grits her teeth to sleep.

She doesn’t hug Beth goodbye. From a window, she watches Fergusson and Deardorff load Beth’s briefcase into the backseat of her new home, the mother full of hope and the father decidedly less so, and she watches Beth try to wave goodbye to Mr. Shaibel. Good riddance, Jolene thinks.

“Is it because you still feel like taking the vitamins?”

Beth shakes her head furiously. “No, not like that. Just...there are blank spots. I can see games still, but once they’re over, I can’t remember them. Like my memory’s not recording correctly.”

Jolene’s immediate instinct is to deny it. “No, no, you’re not.” Jolene takes a deep, wavering breath and says, “Well, hopefully things are okay long enough for you to come to my law school graduation in August.”

“I did say I would be there for you, just like you are for me.” Yeah, it’s a little mushy, but it’s more or less a direct quote from their conversation a couple months ago before Moscow. Beth’s smile reassures Jolene that she’s right, she’ll be okay for long enough.

After a hearty meal, Beth excuses herself to use the restroom.

She’s gone for ten minutes. Jolene opens a book to read.

She’s gone for thirty minutes. The waiter comes by the bill, and Jolene wonders if something has gone terribly, terribly wrong.

She pays and starts combing the promenade for her friend. How hard can it be to lose someone with such vibrant hair?

“José Capablanca was a prodigy and lived his life handed to him on a silver platter, eschewed books and formal study for food and women and booze.  They say the coroner put his ego as the cause of death.  Alekhine played obsessively for years and years, became World Champion and then the alcoholic that showed up to every game drunk.  His dead body was found hunched over a chess board.  At least Beth isn’t like them.”

“Harry?”

“Yeah?”

“Shut up.”
