Leopard Seal Selkies!

[A/N: I know I’m not the only one who thought about this type of Selkie. But imagine the implications when you consider actual Leopard Seals! They’re one of the only seal species to routinely eat other seals (pups, usually)…]

What if—Leopard Seal Selkies are the boogeymen of Selkie society?

Regular leopard seals rarely have contact with humans due to mostly living in truly cold places. (Some have been spotted in places like the Cook Islands, New Zealand—but the sightings are rather rare…) Thus, leopard seal selkies wouldn’t have much reason to turn into their human forms too often. Their human forms might offer much less protection in the cold areas they frequently live in. So I imagine these types of selkies are very, very rare to encounter outside of their seal forms!

Some of them might even not learn how to talk because they spend so little as humans or listening to people on boats! Barely any time spent as humans could attribute to them being boogeymen (and boogeywomen) of Selkies.

These seals average well over the height of typical humans, so their skins would be pretty big and cumbersome to hide. Although—they might spend a bit more time as humans with something that big to cover themselves. Not too long though. Anyway, the sheer myths and legends some Selkies would have about large cannibalistic selkies who are rarely human. That’d be interesting to base an OC on!

It is done (enough)!

I would hype it up more but this is really really simple. It randomly generates a set of symbols, colors, and a word, and then the expected thing to do with those is you draw some sort of character based off the result you get. So it's just an art challenge toy thingy.

There are also some practical features like you can lock parts of the result in place to rerandomize the rest, or hide parts of the generation you don't care about (like if you want to pick your own colors or hate the words being there)

It should run in browser, but there's also a downloadable version for Windows if you want to use it offline. (No mac/linux versions for now, because I don't have appropriate computers to test those on and I...don't want to deal with mac's developer accounts or whatever their problem is...)

[Toon x Mobster] Only he can make him laugh like that...

Jack Desmond is the silly guy. Gavriel Huffman is the scary guy. They come from different worlds that has contrasting genres, one more cartoonishly comedic and the other much dramatically darker.

It's kind of a running gag that Sir Huffman is unable to laugh without looking absolutely wicked. Both in the cartoon world and his own world.

That doesn't stop Jack from being completely smitten with him though, his voice is the most mind-melting thing he's ever had the pleasure to hear
