Soranna Lazarescu

Honestly, this is my favorite OFC.

She is a pretty powerful woman and to catch the eye of someone like Vergil, you have to be pretty special.

Is she special? In the grand scheme of things, oh yes. However, she is naive in the beginning of their relationship.

In 'You Know Me Through The Years To Come' she is much more forgiving than her current variant (A new story that will be coming soon) where she is Nero's mother. I don't really want to give too much away about her when I haven't published that story yet.

Other than that, she is around the same age as the twins. She is also an advocate for changing your fate.

Ugh... really don't want to give it away.

Her character model is based on Katie McGrath. I originally used Eva Green as her model, but Katie just had something about her that worked better.

Metalocalypse OC Week 2024, Day 2- Fankids, Fanparents, and Fan-mily

I tried drawing Meja, who is Skwisgaar's older half sister that he's unaware of in the show's style. Tried.

She owns a jewelry shop in Upplands Vasby in Stockholm County called "King Diamonds" (I know he's from Denmark but the name is so appropriate). Her birthday is Aug. 3, 1969 making her a Leo. She is kind of like her brother but less egotistic and, she also doesn't add random "s" at the end of words. She is asexual and aromantic. Her parents are, Serveta Skwigelf (bio mom), Ansgar Hellstrom (father), Vilhelma Backlund-Hellstrom (step mom). She has 2 younger half siblings named Dag and Saga (they are twins with Dag being born 20 minutes before Saga).

i keep getting dragged into the snow white discourse and it's starting to irritate me. like idc if rachel zegler was scared/didn't like the 1937 adaptation as a child, but she needs to do her homework because the prince was not a stalker--and that's the tip of iceberg. but on the other hand, i don't particularly care that the prince isn't going to be in the remake either, and i get that snow white can "choose both" (i.e., being a leader and being in love), but i feel like everyone forgets other details of disney's snow white.

like, of course, snow white has a wicked stepmother who wants her dead because of the queen's jealousy and vanity against her stepdaughter. and while the huntsman advised her to run away, snow white ultimately made the choice to run into the forest. but then snow white realizes she needs to support herself, and she eventually finds friends and creates her own little community of support (i.e., the forest animals and the seven dwarfs)! and sure, i get where some people have issues with snow white cleaning and cooking for the dwarfs and see it as a gendered role, but cooking and cleaning are important skills for fostering independence. so, after saying all of this, i think a lot of people miss the themes of community, support, and independence. all of these themes, along with themes of vanity and jealousy, are still applicable today.

also lol i'm sorry but the prince discourse, again, is so funny to me. like he's only in the 1937 movie for about five minutes but he does have an established relationship and reciprocated feelings with snow white. and when he appears at the end of the movie, the prince wasn't expecting to wake snow white up with "love's first kiss"--he was there to say goodbye to her. he didn't know that "love's first kiss" was going to awaken snow white--only the audience did, which is dramatic irony, a common literary device. anyway the prince is fine but if andrew burnap's character takes over that role and provides something fresh, i'm willing to watch that.

TLDR: snow white discourse is wild. i think people forget or feign ignorance about the details in disney's original snow white film. and while it's totally fine to want to offer a new twist on the tale, don't completely disrespect the original work or completely dismiss ideas on why the original work is so popular in the first place.

this is a beautiful story about how bulling/family trauma can affect kids. the premise is all of these middle schoolers are invited to a fairy castle for a whole year where they have to option to be granted any wish they desire as long as they find they hidden key. within the first week its obvious they all have one thing in common none of them are gong to school because of bulling.

I HIGHLY RECCOMEND THIS IF YOU EVER FELT LIKE AN OUTSIDER WHILE AS A TEEN BECAUSE YOU WILL RELATE TO AT LEAST ONE OF THE CHARACTERS

AN (it's very hard to keep up with haiku syllables in English but I'm trying my best to modify my orginal poetry).

Xiao

✧ The boy mainly plays shooters and fighting games. He has a skill. He doesn't even have to try and kills go on and on and on...

✧ He is not interested in numbers on the channel and basically doesn't care about all the activity on the Internet. You're the one who talked him into it and you take care of the technical side. You edit videos or set things up for streams. You also moderated the comments before things got bigger.

✧ You occasionally walk by the screen but you've never shown your face. Fans often ask Xiao to tell who is next to him because they see him turn his head towards you. He always denies, saying that no one, because you don't want to be the envy of his fans and he has a lot of them.

✧ He gets mad when things don't work out but that's rare. He'd smashed the keyboard once or twice but only when he was playing for himself and nobody saw him.

✧ Die-hard PC guy. Doesn't accept consoles or smartphones.

✧ He wears sweatshirts all the time and they all look alike. Black and green are the only colours in his wardrobe.

✧ Disappears after streams very quickly. There are no goodbyes, he just turns off the camera and it's dark.

Kamisato Ayato

✧ King of ASMR. He often gets comments that he helps people fall asleep. His voice is so famous that he has given it to characters in several animations. Fans keep begging and sending him new stories to read on as podcasts.

✧ Ayato is rich but few people know it. Pretty good at hiding his private life from his fans.

✧ His sister appeared on Q&A episodes and absolutely won people's hearts. So much so that they asked her to take over his channel. And indeed, for a week he gave it into her care.

✧ You appear in some videos in the form of a hand. Sometimes you wave, other times you give him food. People are consumed by curiosity about what you look like. Kamisato always says with a laugh that he won't show you because someone else will steal you from him.

✧ Bobba tea is his brand. It reigns in many fanarts from viewers and he often drinks it on streams. Several companies wanted to work with him but he gently declined to maintain impartiality.

✧ Sometimes he plays strategy games but it's side content. Rather, he focuses on working with his voice as he is always busy. In addition to being a youtuber, he also has his own business and lacks time for other forms of work.

Kaeya Alberich

✧ Plays Genshin Impact and simps to most characters. He started shortly after the premiere and since then he has been completely absorbed.

✧ When you appeared on the screen, he already knew he was going to wish for you. All the fans watched with fascination how much he was excited about you. Unfortunately, he lost 50/50. That's why he did a weekly primogems gathering with the viewers to hit the guarantee. He got you on the last day of your banner and he was happy.

✧ Even if the current meta has eclipsed your character, he still has a three crowns on you and plays you on Abyss, just to show that he can do it.

✧ He wears a pirate headband for fun. Fans speculated that he might have a sick eye but he denied it.

✧ He fights with his brother all the time. Diluc also has a channel and you can see the rivalry on both sides. They pretend to be adults but in reality they have race to a million subscribers and still get at each other. Fortunately, they live separately and rarely see each other.

✧ Quite an attentive person. He doesn't mind being number one on social media hashtags. He has accounts on every social media he knows. He will take the opportunity to enjoy the triumph with the viewers, especially if he wins an achievement.

Xianling

✧ She runs a cooking channel. In addition, she travels a lot and records vlogs about cuisines from around the world.

✧ Her channel's mascot is Guoba. The bear has been standing at the back of the kitchen since the first episode and that's how it stayed. After some time, in the refreshed version, she ordered it as a stuffed animal for her store so that fans could also buy it.

✧ She regularly asks you to appear on the show with her. You make her fans happy with your relationship. They do compilations with your legendary flour wars.

✧ The girl creates unique compositions. She is known for using exotic ingredients in her dishes. She often combines them in an unusual way.

✧ She can eat a chili pepper without drinking antyhing after. Nobody knows how she does it. The video with this trick already has several million views.

✧ Xianling is planning on opening her own restaurant after flying around a few more countries. You promised to help find cooks and the number of CVs sent already scares you.

Grayson Dallas Seresin

Birthday: May 28, 2006

Physical Description: brown hair, green eyes, ~6′1″-6′2″

Grayson was born after Jake and Y/N graduated high school. Like a week and a half later.

Jake is not Grayson biological father, but once Grayson bio-dad signed away his parental rights -- Jake adopted him. 

But Jake has raised Grayson to be the man he is, he is Gray’s dad.

While he has his moments like every teenager, Grayson is very respectful and tries to hold himself to a behavioral standard.

Grayson is a mama’s boy, there is no denying it and he has no shame in it. This boy loves his mama.

He’s protective of his family; especially his mom and little sister. He won’t hesitate to go toe-to-toe with a man that’s bigger than him to protect his family. 

He’ll even get between his parents if Jake is stepping out of line or there’s a tone in his voice Grayson doesn’t appreciate being directed at his mother.

Sports he plays include: baseball, basketball, and football

He wears the number 23, very proudly as that was the number his mom wore in high school.

He is a catcher and/or centerfielder in baseball, might play the occassional first base.

He’s a reciever on the football team.

In Texas, he was a point guard or a foward in basketball, but in California they have him as post or a forward.

Kennedy Hazel Seresin

Birthday: April 13, 2017

Physical Description: blonde hair, (e/c) eyes

Kennedy was acutally born while Jake was in the hospital because of a harsh landing after an ejection during training.

Jake was there for Y/N though, he was in a wheelchair at her bedside. He would be damned if he missed the birth of his little girl. 

Kennedy might be one of the sweetest little girls you’ll ever meet. She loves everyone. And while she is shy when it comes to meeting new adults, she will never hesitate to talk to another child. 

She’s a daddy’s girl, for sure. Her daddy is a superhero in her eyes.

She ADORES her big brother. Her big brother is the coolest guy there is. He also makes time for her and let’s her hang out with him -- even if his buddies are over. 

Despite the 10/11 year age gap, they’re extremely close.

Kennedy loves loves loves animals. She’s not afraid of them and will pick up any animal she can catch. Which is one of the reasons Jake calls her ‘Princess’, he swears she can talk to the animals and that’s why she’s so comfortable around them and vise versa.

Kennedy loves Marvel. Her favorite characters are Black Widow and Captain America. She loves Yelena Belova because she looks like her. Scarlet Witch is also on the list of favorites.

Kennedy and Grayson

these two may have a 10/11 year age gap, but they are as close as twins.

when grayson was 9, for Christmas he asked for a little brother or sister. he was really leaning towards a little brother so he could teach him how to play ball

and if we’re honest, when he found out the next Christmas that he was getting a little sister, he wasn’t too thrilled. 

but the moment kennedy was born, grayson was wrapped around her finger.

and as they got older, their relationship only got stronger.

grayson never tries to exclude her or leave her out just because his friends are over. and that helped to create an army that would protect kennedy with their life

kennedy and grayson watch movies, color, play games, go to the park; they pretty much do anything together

Older and younger Lyra. She became a Keyblade wielder at about 13 years old and fought in the Keyblade war at 15/16ish. After the Keyblade war, time is weird in the datascape and by the end of khux she doesn't actually know how old she is.

Lyra's usual Keyblades are Starlight (all-purpose), Counterpoint (magic), Sleeping Lion (speed), and Fenrir (power). After ux/ml era she uses either Starlight or Aubade. I also have a new Keyblade idea for her called Mourning Star, which is a color variant of Aubade that formchanges into dual wield swords and then a double-bladed sword.

(I chose Aubade because 1. its my fav Keyblade, and 2. the name is a song about lovers parting at dawn [very applicable for skulmerayer]. Aubade also symbolizes both the pain of separation and light phenomena, which why I chose the name Mourning Star)

hello!! apologies for the very very late answer. i haven't been feeling like myself these past weeks.

so my notes are comparing the book to the movie... somewhat. so far i love the book as much as the movie. im making note of the characters' personality that are depicted orginally in the book and compare them to how the movie presented. as well as notes about John Hammond and how the high tech of the island works. I might be crazy stopping every two pages to write something down, but it's SO worth it.

OKAY, FINALLY, THE MOMENT YOU'VE BEEN WAITING FOR!! Welcome, my Grills, Dills, and Nonbinary Eels, to my pride art event!

This is how its all gonna go down! Im going to be doing a pride drawing, of my Oc Ameryllis. Due to some of you wanting to help out in some way, I'll be accepting your OWN drawings of him.

This will go up untill the 18th, which gives you all about a week to submit them.

All references I have of Ameryllis will be posted below, along with text descriptions because my handwriting is shit lmao. You do NOT have to participate if you dont want to.

Also, drawing your own ocs with him is welcome! I dont care what your drawings are, as long as they involve my fruity child. Feel free to ask any questions if needed!!! Also, buckle up, this is a long post. Alrighty *cracks fingers one at a time* Here we go!

A small description of Ameryllis to help get into his character: He was orginally my dolortale metta. Hes long since became his own character(though i may still use him as his orginal role), and i have unfortunately lost his metta design.

Anywho, Ameryllis represents the stage of acceptance in the stages of grief, hence the flowers hes named after. He has a GREAT love for theater, and uses this to help the undergound cope. He might seem stuck up and arrogant at glance, but this isnt the case. Though its incredibly hard to crack open his shell and see the real him. At first, hes a little cold, and hardly ever smiles, this making him hard to read as his emotions are very subtle, though his smug and dramatic demeanor shines through anyhow. Once you get to know him better, you'll find him showing that ever so slight smile more often, and youll see that hes really a total sweetheart, even if he has trouble showing it.( TSUNDERE). Even so hes very much a bitch, one that takes pride in how he dresses, and knows how to appreciate himself. ENOUGH OF THAT, BACK TO THE REFFS!!!!

I watched Disney's Tarzan, finally. On VHS from the clamshell, because these are like $.50 now at thrift stores, assuming the thrift store near you even bothers to stock them anymore.

I bought my first copy awhile ago, but I didn't know enough to check the tape for the dreaded Tape Mold, and it certainly had it, and my VCR wisely refused to play it (at which point I threw it out, because there is no salvation once Nature has turned on a tape).

Plus these are literally $.50 now.

This new copy has no mold, and plays fine, aside from weird random audio warbling. No, it isn't the tracking. Probably just a much-loved tape, and they are slowly destroyed by our love. One big flaw of that media. I still have my original Karate Kid VHSs from the early 90s that I used to watch 4 times a week, and they are getting very rough indeed.

Anyway. I'm not going to review Tarzan, because it is a good movie I like so I don't have anything interesting to say about it. It makes Tarzan - a weird old character who is weird and old - cool and sexy, and that's cool. I doubt the orginal story ended in a way where more gorillas got hugged than shot, but I have no idea because I'm not terribly familiar with it. And I'm okay with this being the definitive version of this. You're not going to do better than this with a story about a man white-savioring apes. It is an IP with limited adaptability in the present time, I think.

The Phil Colins music is great. I didn't even notice the characters weren't constantly stopping to do theater kid shit in the middle of the woods. ...Except for that one time, when monkeys and a red elephant destroy a camp to do a song. N*Sync plays the monkeys. Yes I'm serious.

And this tape has a bonus feature showing the recording of that song. And this was JT's Ramen Hair phase. So that made me very happy.

I recommend it utterly. ...I mean this specific VHS version of this movie. Fuck Disney+ and find you a $.50 Tarzan clamshell.
