•The Sunshine Kokedama• . . (Pics from #archives) . The white ~Orchid species were mysteriously found in a sequestered place, on the roof top of our Farm Villa secluded within plantations and rainforest trees. They were in full white bloom and I greedily put it into a Kokedama once it was picked and brought down the rooftop. (Koke-dama literally translates to Moss Ball) . . Over 6 months now in a Kokedama, early on the flowers withered leaving just the stalks... I was wondering and worried whether I ended it's cosy life cycle on that roof top habitat. . . Luckily my so called mythical Green Thumbs did not let it down. And now they are hanging in the urban climes for over 6 months, unbelievably growing back lush green leaves. Hope they flower again like they do in their homes. I want to hold that strong belief that they will bring the Sunshine back!! . . . . When the world is in your hands...SAVE WATER!! . . °Watering an Orchid Kokedama° . 1. Dip the moss ball in a tub of water . 2. Orchid Kokedama absorbs quickly, a quick dip is good enough . 3. Raise the moss ball and let the water flow down . 4. Gently hold the moss ball (do not force squeeze) to remove excess water . 5. Remove water from the centre of the leaves, Do not leave water stay in this spot, it can kill your orchid plant . 6. Preferably use your ~Orchid Kokedama as a String Garden than a table top arrangement, away from direct sunlight . 7. Water only when the outer surface feels dry . 8. You can occasionally add fertilizers into the water . 9. Watch them profusely flower . .
