genuinely seeing rainworld posts about ‘I can’t love this community anymore’ ‘I can’t post here anymore’ is driving me a little crazy to see While I don’t like engaging in drama I think that whether or not pansear is actually everything the screenshots have claimed (I’m not decided either or yet considering how sketchy either party is being) I think that ‘leaving the entire fandom’ is a bit much. pansear is a singular person. ONE person out of millions enjoying Rain World. Sure their art was popular but for GODS SAKE don’t let it ruin your enjoyment of the funny scug game. Someone else will take their place. Someone else the community idolizes or clowns upon. Hell for all I know it’s someone reading this post right now. I can look in a thousand places and see the community I love, the shitposting, yuri-making, crazyass (/aff) artists, meme-makers, writers, animators, rebloggers- *you get the point.* I’m not saying that if someone did something truly disgusting, they should be forgiven immediately. That’s hardly true- and if it turns out someone is as horrible a person as the claims say, then. Do with that what you will. I've come across this video "analysis" on Ford's character, and all of this is just...eugh. Exactly all of the talking points that Ford haters use when trying to justify their hatred for him.

I tried to watch it but couldn't even get through one minute. I lost it when they unironically called Ford "a bad person" and left a comment pointing out that Weirdmageddon is Bill's fault and that they are literally demonizing an autistic-coded abuse victim.

The comments are a mess, too. One of the top ones said something about how it doesn't matter how intelligent you are, if you're not emotionally intelligent you can't live a "fulfilling life" or something like that. And most people were blaming Ford for Weirdmageddon as if Bill Cipher didn't exist.

Ford haters either stop being ableist and learn compassion for abuse victims or shut the fuck up challenge.
